Exploring the Path and Practice of Integrating Information Technology into Classroom Teaching in Vocational Colleges

With the rapid development of information technology, its application in the field of education is becoming increasingly widespread, bringing profound changes to classroom teaching in vocational colleges. The integration of information technology not only innovates teaching methods and enriches teaching resources, but also promotes the updating of educational concepts and the innovation of teaching models. This article aims to explore the path and practical methods of integrating information technology into classroom teaching in vocational colleges, comprehensively analyze the current application status of information technology in teaching, including its specific performance in improving teaching effectiveness, promoting student self-directed learning, and optimizing teacher-student interaction. Meanwhile, this article will propose specific implementation strategies based on the actual needs of vocational colleges, such as strengthening the construction of information technology infrastructure, cultivating teachers' information technology application abilities, and developing information technology teaching resources suitable for vocational education. Finally, this article will also look forward to the future development trend of information technology in classroom teaching in vocational colleges, in order to provide useful reference and inspiration for improving the quality of education and teaching in vocational colleges.

Faculty and Student Perspectives on Online Learning in Higher Education

The international transforming learning community, coupled with cultural diversity and technological complexities, spurred an unprecedented acceleration in the adoption of online learning. This reshaped the educational landscape, presenting both challenges and opportunities for educators and learners worldwide. To provide insights into the use of information technology and online learning in higher education and to inform future practices, this qualitative study investigated university faculty and students’ online learning experiences. Purposeful sampling was employed to ensure a diverse selection of participants. Eight faculty and eight students from diverse higher education institutions in the U.S. participated in one-on-one interviews. The study utilized a social constructivist interpretive paradigm, and data were analyzed using iterative categorization. Findings revealed concerns about online learning effectiveness due to limited social interaction. Three main themes emerged: challenges encountered, student engagement, and strategies to improve online learning effectiveness. This research enriches the scholarly discourse on online education by elucidating faculty and student perceptions regarding factors impacting the effectiveness of online learning and sustainable teaching strategies for future higher education. It highlights a paradigm shift in higher education and emphasizes the importance of equitable access to digital resources and inclusive policies to address disparities in online learning support, promoting equity and social justice in education.

The Impact of a Digital Game-Based AI Chatbot on Students’ Academic Performance, Higher-Order Thinking, and Behavioral Patterns in an Information Technology Curriculum

In the age of intelligence, information technology (IT) education has become the focus of attention in the education sector. However, traditional teaching methods fall short in motivating students and fostering higher-order thinking and have difficulty providing a personalized learning experience. Although AI chatbots can provide instant feedback as an innovative teaching tool, it is still challenging to fully enhance learner engagement. Based on this, this study developed a digital game-based AI chatbot system to enhance students’ learning experience through digital game-based learning strategies. This study utilized a quasi-experimental design with the experimental group using a digital game-based AI chatbot and the control group using a traditional AI chatbot. A comparison was made between the two groups concerning student learning performance in IT courses, higher-order thinking (including problem-solving, computational thinking, and creativity), learning motivation, and flow experience. In addition, the behavioral patterns of high-achieving and low-achieving students in the experimental group were analyzed. The results showed that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group in academic performance, problem-solving, computational thinking, learning motivation, and flow experience, but there was no significant difference in creativity tendency. Behavioral pattern analysis showed that high-achieving students in the experimental group showed more systematic learning strategies, while low-achieving students relied more on immediate feedback and external help, but both high- and low-achieving groups were able to actively talk to the AI chatbot and actively explore problem-solving strategies in the digital game. Therefore, AI chatbots based on digital games can be effectively used in IT courses to help students construct knowledge and develop higher-order thinking.

Analysis of Ict Learning In Increasing The Intellectual Intelligence of Students In MTSN 4 Aceh Utara

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) education aims to provide knowledge and skills to learners in order for them to stay updated on technical advancements that are constantly changing. ICT learning at MTsN 4 Aceh Utara requires a variety of strategies and methods that emphasize the development of thinking, analysis, and problem-solving skills to enhance the intellectual intelligence of learners. The research is qualitative and uses methods of comparative analysis, involving students directly in the learning analysis of ICT. The results of the research show that intellectual intelligence has a positive influence in developing critical thinking, creativity, and analytical ability of students in MTsN 4 Aceh Utara. Average percentage results showed 73.3% for the learning material aspects of ICT, 70% for learning methods aspects, and 73,3% for learning evaluation aspects. These findings contributed to the overall improvement of learning quality in MTsN 4 Aceh Utara.

Exploring Influences on ICT Adoption in German Schools: A UTAUT-Based Structural Equation Model

The 2018 International Computer and Information Literacy Study (ICILS) provides a comprehensive dataset with contextual information on German school environments. The data comes from responses by eighth-grade teachers and principals to a questionnaire about Information and Communication Technology (ICT) for teaching. We performed an exploratory re-analysis examining what influences teachers' adoption and use of ICT by employing six factors — Social Influence, Effort Expectancy, Performance Expectancy, Facilitating Conditions, Behavioural Intention, and Use Behaviour — from the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). We measured relationships between these constructs with a Structural Equation Model (SEM) consisting of 15 indicators provided by the ICILS study. The goodness of fit measures indicated confirmation of the model (RMSEA = .05, SRMR = .05, CFI = .93, TLI = .91). Our findings show that teachers' attitudes toward ICT and the school administration's support affected how ICT was applied in the classroom.

Humanizing Pedagogy: The Human-Centric Approach to Technology Integration for Teacher Training

The rapid expansion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education has the potential to revolutionise higher educational opportunities and promote social development for students through techno-equipped teacher educators. However, despite this intensive growth, for Sub-Saharan Africa, a substantial gap still exists between the widespread use of ICTs and their effective implementation in education. In this theoretical paper, we examine the challenges and consequences embedded in this gap in higher education, through the lens of humanising pedagogy, with a focus on the potential harm to the students’ social development. The study however makes some crucial recommendations on policy and practice through an exploration of strategies and propositions for bridging this divide to utilise the full educational potential of ICTs in the African higher education context. We argue for the adoption of humanising pedagogy in higher education for better contribution towards economic and social development through education. We conclude by presenting a suggested model, which we termed ‘Human-centric ICT integration Model’ for effective integration of the said ICTs in a humanistic approach for preservice teacher training.

Digital Information System (DIS) and the Current Situation of Its Application in Middle School Experiment Teaching

In recent years, artificial intelligence and other digital technologies have developed rapidly. The issue of digital empowerment for the development of teaching has gradually become a hot spot. This paper, using the literature research method, finds that physics experiment teaching combined with DISLAB sensors has a significant positive effect and can have a positive impact on students learning interest, learning quality, and teachers teaching models. DISLab sensors have achieved the integration of information technology and physics experiment teaching, providing a better perspective for teachers and students to effectively complete the teaching and learning of experiments.

Mapping the imaginary of Information Communication Technologies (ICTs) in education: the case of Botswana

ABSTRACT This article investigates policy-as-discourse and policy-as-technology with specific focus on how the deployment of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education is positioned as a redemptive force in the case of Botswana. Therborn's theory of inequalities was adopted to catalogue ways in which supranational organisations and the national government of Botswana consider the potential of ICT and/ICT in education to address (in)equalities in Botswana. A deductive Directed Qualitative Content Analysis (DQICA) was adopted focusing on how the national government and supranational organisations view and present ICT in education in Botswana with regards to being an equaliser. The analysis of the evidence points to ICT in education being seen and operationalised to ameliorate existing inequalities in education and broader society, without, necessarily, questioning broader socioeconomic structural arrangements and factors sustaining inequalities.

The Application of Virtual Simulation Technology in the Intelligent Education Platform

With the development of virtual simulation technology, it is widely used in the construction of intelligent education platform to create an immersive digital learning environment. This study first analyzes the working mechanism of virtual simulation technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality, and multi-perception interaction. Then this paper discusses how virtual simulation technology serves intelligent education, which can not only simulate experimental operation, but also architecture virtual scene to realize situational teaching. Based on this, the system architecture of the intelligent education platform is designed, using modular design and integrating the virtual simulation system. The results show that the virtual simulation technology can improve the students' learning interest and participation, especially for the subjects with high hands-on operation requirements. This study verifies the deep integration of virtual simulation technology and intelligent education platform, and explores the application of the new virtual practical training system in information technology teaching, which provides a reference for the promotion and application of such systems.

A Precision Teaching Mode in Higher Vocational Colleges based on Information Technology

This paper explores the integration of precision teaching with information technology in higher vocational education. It identifies shortcomings in traditional teaching methods and highlights the potential of precision teaching, aided by new technologies, to address diverse student needs and optimize teaching processes. The paper proposes a three-dimensional model of precision teaching, showcasing how it can be applied in higher vocational education within an informationized context. Additionally, practical recommendations are provided to facilitate the effective implementation of this model, including government policy support, collaboration among institutions, teacher training, and technological upgrades. Overall, this research contributes to the advancement of higher vocational education by leveraging information technology for personalized learning and teaching optimization.

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ВИКОРИСТАННЯ СУЧАСНИХ ІНФОРМАЦІЙНОКОМУНІКАЦІЙНИХ ТЕХНОЛОГІЙ У ВИЩІЙ МАТЕМАТИЧНІЙ ОСВІТІ

The article discusses the relevance of using information and communication technologies (ICT) in higher mathematical education within the context of the contemporary educational environment characterized by rapid technological changes. It is noted that effective utilization of ICT, such as electronic journals, multimedia technologies, testing systems, and computer mathematics systems, contributes to the improvement of the teaching and learning process. Emphasis is placed on the necessity of reviewing and modifying teaching methodologies for mathematical disciplines to integrate innovative solutions. Furthermore, the use of information and communication technologies in higher mathematical education is deemed highly relevant due to the rapid development of the modern technological environment and the needs of the contemporary job market. The implementation of electronic journals, multimedia technologies, testing systems, and computer mathematics not only enhances the efficiency of teaching mathematical disciplines but also helps create a solid foundation for the future professional success of students. Electronic journals serve not only as convenient tools for administrative processes but also as platforms for active interaction among students, teachers, and administration, fostering the development of academic community and stimulating discussions and collaboration. Multimedia technologies, such as video lessons, interactive exercises, and simulations, provide students with opportunities to better grasp material and understand complex concepts, opening up new possibilities for personalized learning and adaptation to various learning styles. Testing systems, particularly those based on interactive platforms, enable instructors to effectively monitor students' knowledge and track their progress, as well as provide opportunities for personalized learning through automatic adaptation of task complexity Computer mathematics systems, including software packages for numerical and symbolic computations, become an integral part of modern mathematical education, empowering students to efficiently solve complex mathematical problems and explore new concepts, thus stimulating their creative potential and innovative approach to problem-solving. Together with educational platforms and distance learning systems, these tools contribute to the modernization and optimization of the educational process, leading to the improvement of the quality of higher mathematical education and the preparation of qualified professionals for the contemporary world.

The Development of a Mathematical Model of an Algorithm for Constructing an Individual Educational Trajectory for the Development of Methodological Competence among IT Discipline Teachers

This article explores contemporary models of the development of methodological competence, focusing on the needs of IT discipline teachers. The challenges in implementing these features within modern educational conditions are identified, underscoring the necessity for creating innovative teaching methods adapted to the requirements of IT teachers. By analyzing current trends in the educational environment, the authors highlight key stages in the continuous education system for teachers, including the mastering of basic education, adapting young teachers, and fostering their professional development. The article reveals the actual possibilities of developing the methodological competence of teachers as an ongoing endeavor to elevate their professional pedagogical culture. In the article, the authors propose a conceptual model within the domain of education, serving as the basis for constructing an efficient mathematical model which is specifically designed to create individualized learning trajectories for IT discipline teachers with the focus on managing the process of methodological competence development during the synthesis of training courses. The authors propose an innovative approach to teacher retraining, centered around individualized needs and abilities, with the aim of enhancing the quality of education in the field of information technology.

DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT IN THE PANDEMIA CONTEXT: THE STUDENT AUDIENCE INTENTIONS

The article presents the features of digitalization of the educational process of higher educational institutions in Ukraine and describes the impact of the COVID‑19 pandemic. It was revealed that modern global challenges have become a powerful impetus for effective innovations in the field of education. In particular, the COVID‑19 pandemic created a unique opportunity for the unprepared introduction of digital technologies into the educational process, and with the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the digital format of education became almost the only opportunity to obtain higher education. In the context of the digitalization of the educational process, distance education has become increasingly widespread, specializing in the provision of educational services using the use of modern information and communication technologies in education. Scientific research has identified the advantages of distance learning in higher educational institutions in Ukraine, including temporal, geographical, psychological, ergonomic, etc. Discussive issues that arise in the process of organizing distance learning are highlighted, related to the need for high internal motivation of higher education applicants, technical shortcomings, problems of identifying applicants, lack of live dialogue with the teacher, lack of digital competencies, etc. Factors that negatively affect the quality of implementation of digital learning technologies in higher education institutions have been identified. It was found that thanks to digitalization, the educational process has become more personalized, mobile, accessible, and flexible.The article substantiates the need to create a digital educational environment in the conditions of informatization and digitalization of education. Approaches to substantiating the essence of the digital educational environment are defined, and the conditions for its creation are indicated to improve the quality of educational services. The advantages of the digital educational environment include providing educational opportunities for all participants in the educational process equally; mobility of learning (variation of time and place of study); implementation of continuous education throughout life; training applicants for higher education, students of courses and professional retraining programs according to designed individual educational programs; consumption, use, and development of electronic educational resources. It has been established that the conditions of the digital educational environment make it possible to develop a certain electronic basis for the development of the cognitive and creative activity of higher education applicants and teachers, which accompanies the continuous dynamic formation of a system of knowledge and competencies, which is the basis for managing andensuring the quality of the pedagogical process and educational services. We see the prospect of further scientific research in the studio for digitalization of the educational process.

Older adults and use of video games

Digital technologies are having a profound impact on all aspects of our lives and are driving major societal changes. The use of information and communication technologies in education is one of the fastest developing areas of research, but there is still a digital divide and a need for action in lifelong learning to empower older adults. Our aim was to understand the profile of older adults who use videogames and to identify the factors behind their use and their relationship with certain aspects of health and well-being (self-perceived health status, cognitive and physical functioning, psychological and social well-being). With this aim, we assessed the use and acceptance of different types of technology and how these might be influenced by different factors, such as older adults' age, gender and level of education. Results obtained suggest that there are significant differences between the frequency of video game use and age, gender, educational level and previous experience with digital technology, but no significant differences by gender were found in overall technology use. In conclusion, this study could contribute to the design of lifelong learning approaches for older people that can take advantage of the benefits offered by video games and other technologies to leave no one behind.

By critically examining this information, a certain conclusion is drawn, making а decision and methods of teaching information technology are described as the gradual formation of mental activity.

Exploration of Innovation Strategy in the Deep Integration of Information Technology and Education and Teaching

The rapid development of information technology provides a new opportunity and impetus for the reform of education and teaching. Deep integration of information technology and education and teaching is the only way to promote the modernization of education. Starting from the connotation of the deep integration of information technology and education and teaching, this paper analyzes the existing problems in the current integration process, and puts forward innovative strategies from the aspects of concept, resources, model, and evaluation. Through measures such as building a smart teaching environment, enriching high-quality teaching resources, innovating teaching organization models, and establishing multiple evaluation systems, we will realize the deep integration of information technology and teaching, promote the reform of teaching and learning methods, improve the quality of personnel training, and provide strong support for the modernization of education.

Teachers' situated knowledge: Addressing digital exclusion in rural contexts

This study delves into the intricate challenges surrounding incorporating information and communication technologies (ICTs) in education, particularly in regions characterized by digital exclusion, such as rural areas. By recognizing the potential of ICTs to support and expand student learning opportunities, this research explores the necessity for effective implementation through tailored professional development aligned with teachers' contextual conditions and needs. In addressing these challenges, the study explores the concept of technological appropriation, underscoring the significance of individual and contextual elements in adapting ICTs to users' specific needs and environments. Through unstructured face-to-face interviews with 21 teachers immersed in a digitally vulnerable rural context, this research unveils insights into how educators’ appropriate technologies to enhance student learning. The findings of this study contribute to the development of educational practices tailored to rural contexts, focusing on providing a meaningful and effective learning experience for students. By shedding light on teachers' strategies for navigating the digital landscape in challenging environments, the research aims to inform policies and practices that bridge the technological gap, ultimately fostering equitable access and enhanced educational outcomes in rural settings.

RUPIAH CURRENCY INTRODUCTION PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN OF MIGRANT WORKERS IN MALAYSIA

This program's goal is to enhance the understanding and skills of the children of Indonesian migrant workers in Malaysia in recognizing and understanding the Rupiah currency. Through an interactive and creative approach, this program combines information technology, mock money, and hands-on teaching to 32 children in Malaysia.. The results of this program include children's ability to demonstrate methods of distinguishing between natural and imitation currency, an understanding of how to care for money properly, the ability to compare the value of Ringgit and Rupiah currency, and the ability to recognize, sort and count the amount of Rupiah currency. This program provides practical knowledge of currency and engages children in activities supporting essential financial skills development. With the involvement of the Indonesian Young Spirit, this program is a form of positive contribution in equipping the children of migrant workers with relevant knowledge to face life in Malaysian society.

Practice and Exploration of Water Resources Teaching Reform in Colleges and Universities

The water conservancy engineering profession has an important position in the current social development, this paper comprehensively discusses the background, challenges and coping strategies of water conservancy teaching reform in colleges and universities, as well as the future development trend of teaching. Under the background of the new period, the teaching reform of water conservancy in colleges and universities is imperative, so it focuses on the innovation of teaching concepts and contents, the construction of practical teaching bases, as well as suggestions on improving the evaluation system. Finally, the prospects of the application of information technology teaching means and the impact of cross-disciplinary integration on the teaching reform of water conservancy are also discussed.

THE HISTORY OF USING INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS

This article examines the historical development and implementation of information technologies in physical education and sports. Through comprehensive analysis of scientific literature and online sources, the study explores early innovations in computer programs and software applications designed for biomechanical analysis, monitoring of physical condition, training modeling, and individualized program creation in sports and fitness. Key contributions from researchers at the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine are highlighted, including significant developments in posture analysis, foot diagnostics, and video-based motion capture systems. The paper thoroughly reviews specialized software for professional bodybuilding, aqua aerobics, family health management, and student physical education, demonstrating the breadth of applications across various domains. A detailed classification system for information technologies in physical culture and sports is presented, categorizing applications by areas such as sports training, physical education, and rehabilitation. The research demonstrates the widespread adoption of information technologies across diverse aspects of physical education and sports, enabling sophisticated biomechanical assessments, comprehensive physical state monitoring, advanced training simulations, and personalized program development. The authors conclude that information technologies have become integral tools in enhancing physical education and sports practices, with significant potential for further implementation in higher education curricula. The study also emphasizes the need for continued research and development in this rapidly evolving field, particularly in areas such as virtual reality applications and mobile technologies for promoting physical activity and health.
