Diseño y análisis de las propiedades psicométricas del instrumento de competencias de trabajo interprofesional para su uso en la población mexicana (CIP-Mx)

IntroductionInterprofessional education includes diverse strategies in order to promote competencies such as communication, ethics, critic reflection and quality processes. It is characterized by simultaneously including diverse discipline participants in the educative process. The assessment of these competencies is essential. AimTo design an assessment instrument for interprofessional health workers competencies and to measure its psychometric properties. MethodAn assessment instrument was designed, it included four competencies (communication, learning and critical reflection, quality and health processes, and ethics and values); in three dimensions (leadership and team work, roles and responsibilities, patient centered care). For content validity assessment, an expert judgement was made. Due to the fact that this instrument can be used as seven separate instruments, or, as well, as the combination of several of them due to intersection of the items between dimensions and competencies; seven exploratory factorial analysis were performed, four by competencies, and three by dimensions. The exploratory factorial analysis used varimax rotation, Bartlett test and KMO.For reliability assessment Cronbach´s Alpha was performed for each dimension, for each competency and two general ones (one for dimension assessment and another one for competencies). ResultsPsychometric properties of the instrument are described. It shows adequate properties to be used in Mexican population. ConclusionsThe instrument is suitable for measuring interprofessional work competencies from different dimensions.

Model analysis of private teachers' innovative work behavior improvement after the COVID-19 pandemic

After the COVID-19 pandemic, educational organizations' learning process experienced significant changes, especially related to innovative work behavior. It is undeniable that building innovative work behavior requires strong self-efficacy and organizational commitment and is supported by conducive workplace happiness. This research aims to analyze models for improving the innovative work behavior of private teachers after the COVID-19 pandemic based on self-efficacy, organizational commitment, and workplace happiness. The research model is oriented towards a quantitative causality approach. Data was collected online using a Google form, and a sample of 100 teachers was obtained. Using a purposive sampling formula, the foundation for sample determination is geared toward a non-probability sampling strategy. Instrument tests, normality tests, regression tests, correlation tests, hypothesis tests, and coefficient of determination were all utilized in data analysis. The results of the study demonstrate that innovative work behavior is highly influenced by workplace happiness, organizational commitment, and self-efficacy. According to the study's conclusions, encouraging creative work behavior requires teachers to have the confidence to do so. Furthermore, the psychological state of educators has a significant impact on their ability to generate novel and creative ideas.

Technical and vocational education training and industry collaboration: a bibliometric review

Technical and vocational education training (TVET) is an education and training process with a strong emphasis on industry practices that aims to generate competent workers in particular fields. Collaboration with industry in TVET has the potential to improve the quality and relevance of TVET programmes and equip students with the practical skills and knowledge demanded by employers. Thus, there is a need for a complete bibliometric study of research linked to collaboration between TVET and industry, despite the fact that the number of studies in this field continues to increase. The bibliometric analysis in this research which was extracted from Web of Science database is analyze using VOSviewer. The research conducted a descriptive analysis of the publication number trends, the top authors and leading journals in this field. Next, the researcher also analyzed the co authorship based on authors and countries, research trends, citation and keywords analysis as well as co citation analysis. The article found that most of the articles in this field are published by authors from developed countries where the majority is from the United States. Other than that, the recent research hotspot were also identified indicating the future direction of the research in this field.

Leveraging the learning focal point algorithm for emotional intelligence

<span>One of the secrets of the success of the education process is taking into account the learner’s feelings. That is, the teacher must be characterized by high emotional intelligence (EI) to understand the student’s feelings in order to facilitate the indoctrination process for him. Within the framework of the project to create a robot teacher, we had to add this feature because of its importance. In this article, we create a computer application that classifies students' emotions based on deep learning and learning focal point (LFP) algorithm by analyzing facial expressions. That is, the robot will be able to know whether the student is happy, excited, or sad in order to deal with him appropriately.</span>

ВЛИЯНИЕ ЦИФРОВЫХ ТЕХНОЛОГИЙ НА ОБУЧЕНИЕ В МЕДИЦИНСКИХ ВУЗАХ: СОЦИОЛОГИЧЕСКИЕ АСПЕКТЫ И ВЛИЯНИЕ НА ЗДРАВООХРАНЕНИЕ

This article is dedicated to the study of the impact of digital technologies on the educational process in medical universities, with a focus on sociological aspects and their significance for the healthcare system. It examines how the use of digital tools and platforms changes students' approaches to studying medicine and shapes their perception of the role of technology in improving the quality of medical services and ensuring public health. The informational and educational environment transforms traditional teaching methods, providing new opportunities for updating curricula and creating conditions for the rapid exchange of information between students and educators. Digitalization of the educational process implies a change in the roles of all participants in the educational process. Students become researchers actively using information and communication technologies to acquire knowledge and practical skills. At the same time, educators assume the role of mentors, supporting students in their learning and possessing the necessary competencies in digital technologies. The article analyzes the most effective tools for facilitating interaction in the educational environment, such as virtual boards like Google Jamboard, Miro, and Padlet, which contribute to the development of critical thinking and presentation skills among students. Additionally, the article addresses the challenges faced by medical universities in the process of integrating digital technologies. Effective implementation of digitalization requires strategic planning and a comprehensive approach to updating educational programs, which will create a sustainable platform for the future professional growth of students. In conclusion, the authors emphasize that digital technologies, along with innovative teaching methods, significantly enhance the quality of education in medical universities. This, in turn, contributes to the training of highly qualified specialists capable of effectively working in modern healthcare conditions, ultimately having a positive impact on public health and the organization of healthcare as a whole.

AI and VR Integration in E-Learning: Designing meaningful learning environments

The main idea of the educational process based on artificial intelligence and virtual reality forms a new, effective methodology of training. This article examines how AI facilitates VR environments and enriches them with immediate feedback, learner-generated learning paths and big data, resulting in personalizing the education requirements for a spectrum of learners. The literature review addresses the subject through different areas where AI and VR have been applied in a timely manner to learning and comprehension, as well in fields such as engineering, healthcare, and humanities. Also, the advantages of this integration, including enhanced activity, access to the material, and potential to get practical training, are outlined. But, it is imperative to also consider the implementation costs, technology enforcement issues, as well as the probable data privacy problems. Direction and opportunity are explored, along with such areas as further development of adaptive learning environments, more realistic VR settings, and challenges of data utilization in learning. Finally, this article underlines the valuable possibility of the AI and VR applying in the educational field and the necessity of overcoming the barriers to the educational standards.

Sistem Pengelolaan dan Pengembangan Wakaf secara Produktif di Pondok Pesantren Al-Uswah Kuala Kabupaten Langkat: Studi Analisis Menurut Undang-Undang No. 41 Tahun 2004 tentang Wakaf

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study was to determine the productive waqf management and development system at the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School, Langkat Regency, and also to find out the forms of productive waqf management and development at the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School, Langkat Regency. This type of research includes empirical research with a qualitative approach. The subject of this study involved the Chairperson of the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Nazhir Waqf, and the Community, with a qualitative descriptive research analysis. The results of the research conducted show that the waqf management and development system productively at the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School, Langkat Regency is carried out by administering and collecting data on waqf assets, then recording them in a notarial deed so that they have permanent legal force, and carrying out maximum supervision so that the utilization Waqf assets are in accordance with their function and main objective, which is to develop Islamic education as a place to nurture true Muslims. Then, the productive management and development of waqf at the Al-Uswah Kuala Islamic Boarding School in Langkat Regency is carried out in two forms, namely the physical form in which waqf assets are developed by adding and constructing various buildings needed in the educational process at the institution. Apart from that, it is also being developed in the form of waqf management policies especially for the needs of the students, for example providing free tuition fees for orphans and high achieving students so as to help the Muslim community (santri's parents). While the form of waqf assets is distributed to the surrounding community in the form of donations such as groceries and so on at certain moments. Modification in Quality of Life and Health in Medical Students across Graduation

Abstract Background Medical students experience numerous demands during the education process, determining their quality of life (QoL) and health status. POLLEK study aims to identify and evaluate the quality of life by simultaneously assessing their determinants in Polish medical students during long-term observation. We have also examined the prevalence of chronic diseases, specifically focusing on overweight and obesity, and identified their risk factors. Methods The POLLEK is the follow-up cohort study conducted among medical students at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. Students were followed during two observation periods: in their first year of studies, the academic year 2021/2022 (T1), and in their second year, the academic year 2022/2023 (T2). Results The total number of participants in the first year of observation (T1) was 427 while in the second year (T2) was 335. We identified that the QoL score significantly decreased in their second year of studies mainly in the somatic and psychological domain. The determinants of QoL domains common to T1 and T2 remained self-declared health status, frequency of physical activity, and current financial situation. In the initial year of evaluation, 56 students (13.10%) were overweight or obese, and 52 (15.8%) in the second. Regardless of the academic year, the increased risk of being overweight or obese was significantly associated with dissatisfaction with personal health, financial deficiencies, and a diet abundant in animal products. Conclusions The QoL of medical students and selected indicators of their health status deteriorated during the observation period. Our findings suggest that medical schools should actively promote the activity needed to achieve a balance between schoolwork and the personal life of medical students from the beginning of university study. Access to Education of Syrians under Temporary Protection in the Changing and Developing Turkish Education System: Barriers and Suggestions

The Turkish education system adopts an inclusive approach for individuals from different cultures. However, Syrian children face various barriers such as language barriers, economic difficulties, social cohesion and cultural differences. Language barriers make it difficult for Syrian children, especially those who speak Arabic, to adapt to the Turkish education system. Economic difficulties make it difficult for families to send their children to school, while cultural differences and social cohesion problems make it difficult for children to be socially accepted in schools. This article addresses the issue of access to education for Syrian children under temporary protection in Türkiye. In the article, the general development and change of the Turkish education system is explained and the difficulties faced by Syrians under temporary protection in the education process and the solutions to these difficulties are analysed. These suggestions include the development of language education programs, improvement of legal regulations and policies, reduction of education costs and awareness raising activities to increase social cohesion and cultural sensitivity. It is also emphasised that more comprehensive and sustainable policies should be implemented to support the integration of Syrian children into the Turkish education system. It is considered that the Learning and Adaptation Together Program (LEAP) proposed by us will accelerate the access of Syrians under temporary protection to education and contribute to social cohesion.

A qualitative study on Problems of Young People and Ways of Religious Coping in Türkiye

The research aims to investigate the problems faced by young people in Turkey and the religious coping mechanisms they use to cope with these problems. A total of 403 students from Turkey participated, including 190 high school and 213 university students. The research, conducted in April 2024, employed two different methods for data collection: written data was gathered directly from high school students through interviews, while questionnaires were distributed to university students and collected by the researcher. We used semi-structured interviews based on a specific framework, asking participants three broad and open-ended questions. After conducting a content analysis on the data, the researcher categorized the data thematically. Based on the available data, the findings of the research classified the problems faced by young people into three main categories: individual, social, and existential issues. Individual problems included gender roles, sexuality, religious doubts, stress, addiction, and loneliness. Social problems consisted of local and popular culture, violence, concerns about the future, difficulties in finding employment, the education process, marriage, and family communication. Existential issues included the meaning of life, death, and belief in God. The study revealed that young people often resort to religious coping strategies to handle these challenges. These strategies include praying (salat), supplication (dua), expressing gratitude, repentance, performing ablution, attending mosques, reading the Qur'an, participating in religious talks, and engaging in volunteer services. As a result, it has been determined that religious coping strategies are an important part of the daily lives of young people in Turkey and that these strategies play an important role in coping with individual, social, and existential challenges.

Medicine Access Programmes: what do patients think – a patient‐reported outcome study on ribociclib in metastatic breast cancer in Australia

AbstractThis study evaluated patient‐reported outcomes (PROs) of Medicine Access Programmes (MAPs) for Australian metastatic breast cancer patients on ribociclib. Limited patient awareness of MAP enrolment was identified, emphasising the need for improved education and consent processes. Most patients expressed gratitude for accessing non‐funded medications and perceived enhanced medication adherence as a key benefit. Integrating PRO data with real‐world registry data provides comprehensive insight for future MAP development.

Environmental Education in the Business Context: Practices and Challenges in the Transportation Sector for the Formation of a Socio-Environmental Culture

Objective: The objective of this study is to investigate Environmental Education in the business context, with a focus on the transport sector, in order to reflect on the teaching practices that are developed in all areas, with the aim of presenting environmental practices that can promote the formation of an individual committed to the socio-environmental reality and to life. Theoretical Framework: Environmental Education can be characterized as an educational process based on social values, knowledge, skills, attitudes and competencies aimed at conservation and care for the environment. This definition highlights the need for its operationalization at all levels and sectors of society in a cultural transformation project, which intends the necessary contribution of Formal Education. Based on the proposal, the study supports the need for the rapid implementation of environmental education within urban transport companies, so that in the medium to long term it is possible to observe a strengthened sustainable dynamic in environmental education for this sector. Method: The methodology adopted for this research involves dividing the study into two parts, where the first was based on a systematic review of the scientific literature and the second part, due to the scarcity of significant data on the subject identified in the initial phase, was configured as a professional proposal for implementing environmental education within the urban public transport sector. Results and Discussion: The results obtained revealed important implications for the promotion of sustainability in the transportation sector through Environmental Education by proposing a practical approach that combines educational and operational strategies, highlighting the need for companies to integrate socio-environmental responsibility actions into their daily practices, increasing environmental awareness among employees, but also fostering cultural transformation in organizations, generating a broader impact. In addition, the research can serve as a model for other industrial sectors, offering a replicable framework for implementing sustainability programs in a systematic way and adapted to the needs of each organizational context. By combining a rigorous analysis of the scientific literature with the proposal of a practical product for the implementation of Environmental Education in transportation companies, focusing on the specific needs of the transportation sector, it is possible to bring solutions that are applicable and adaptable to the reality of organizations, which increases its relevance both in the academic field and in the market. The study not only fills gaps identified in the literature, but also contributes with an action model that can be directly implemented, bringing benefits to companies, employees and society in general. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical implications of this research are discussed, providing insights into how the results can be applied or influence practices in the urban transport field. These implications may include the promotion of sustainability in the transport sector through Environmental Education by proposing a practical approach that combines educational and operational strategies, highlighting the need for companies to integrate socio-environmental responsibility actions into their daily practices, increasing environmental awareness among employees, but also fostering cultural transformation in organizations, generating a broader impact. Originality/Value: This study contributes to the literature by also serving as a model for other industrial sectors, offering a replicable framework for implementing sustainability programs in a systematic manner and adapted to the needs of each organizational context. In this context, the work emphasizes the relevance of intersectoral partnerships, which can drive public policies and collaborative actions between the private and public sectors to promote a more sustainable transition.

Education is closely related to learning activities. In the entire educational process at school, learning activities are the most basic activities, which means that the success or failure of achieving educational goals depends on the learning process experienced by students as students in each school. In social studies learning, teachers are not only required to provide knowledge to students in mastering concepts related to social life and the environment. More than that, social studies teachers are expected to be able to equip students to make efforts to increase their knowledge. Therefore, thr role of teacher in improve social studies learning in elementary schools are very important to build an advanced generation in the future. he aim of this research is to increase students' interest in learning social studies in elementary schools. This research methodology uses a qualitative approach with the type of research being library research. The results of this research show that the teacher's role in increasing students' interest in learning in social studies subjects includes the use of media, organizing the class and stimulating to create an attitude of student participation in social studies subjects from all the teacher's roles above, that what they do is in accordance with the model participatory learning. There are several factors that support teachers when learning, including: the best possible and effective use of technology, good emotional condition of students, supportive environmental conditions, good quality teachers. And some of the inhibiting factors include a distance learning system that is less effective, technological constraints, namely slow internet network, poor emotional condition

Manajemen Pendidikan Islam: Kolaborasi Antara Nilai Spiritual dan Pengelolaan Pendidikan

Islamic education management is a discipline that not only focuses on the technical aspects of the management of educational institutions, but also incorporates Islamic spiritual and moral values at every stage of education. This article aims to find out the collaboration between spiritual values and educational management in Islamic education management. This study uses a literature study method with a systematic approach to review previous studies related to research topics. The data sources used come from scientific journals indexed in databases such as Google Scholar. The selected articles meet the inclusion criteria, namely published in the last five years. The analysis is carried out by identifying, comparing, and grouping the results of existing research, to formulate a comprehensive conclusion. The results of the analysis show that the fundamentals of Islamic education management include principles based on the teachings of the Qur'an, Hadith, and a strong Islamic scientific tradition. Islamic education has the main goal of forming people who are faithful, knowledgeable, and have noble character, where the entire educational process is directed to achieve harmony between science and Islamic values. In its implementation, Islamic education emphasizes the importance of faith (Tauhid), deliberation (Shura), justice (Adil), and goodness (Ihsan), which must be applied in school management, teaching processes, and relationships between individuals in the educational environment

Artificial Intelligence-Assisted Music Education: A Critical Synthesis of Challenges and Opportunities

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a hot topic that presents new challenges and opportunities for the improvement of educational processes. The disruptive and transformative force of this new technological development implies the adaptation of educational ecosystems for its use and integration as a didactic and pedagogical resource. From this perspective, a systematic literature review has been conducted to analyze the didactic potential of generative AI tools in the field of promoting artistic creativity in music education. The research results confirm that the incorporation of AI in music education is paving the way for a more personalized, interactive and efficient learning experience. In addition, the analysis suggests nine fundamental fields of IA implementation in music education: virtual and augmented reality (VR; VA); learning personalization, intelligent tutoring systems; composition assistants; improved historical and contextual learning; assessment systems; interactive ear training and music theory systems; tools for music collaboration and performance; and assistive technologies. Furthermore, the challenges presented by the intersection of AI and digital didactics in the field of music education are discussed.

Enhancing Personalized Learning Through Process Mining

AbstractTechnology-mediated learning offers new possibilities for individualizing learning processes in order to discover, monitor, and enhance students’ learning activities. However, leveraging such possibilities automatically and at scale with novel technologies raises questions about the design and the analysis of digital learning processes. Process mining hereby becomes a relevant tool to leverage these theorized opportunities. The paper classifies recent literature on individualizing technology-mediated learning and educational process mining into four major concepts (purpose, user, data, and analysis). By clustering and empirically evaluating the use of learner data in expert interviews, the study presents three design patterns for discovering, monitoring, and enhancing students’ learning activities by means of process mining. The paper explains the characteristics of these patterns, analyzes opportunities for digital learning processes, and illustrates the potential value the patterns can create for relevant educational stakeholders. Information systems researchers can use the taxonomy to develop theoretical models to study the effectiveness of process mining and thus enhance the individualization of learning processes. The patterns, in combination with the taxonomy for designing and analyzing digital learning processes, serve as a personal guide to studying, designing, and evaluating the individualization of digital learning at scale.

Menumbuhkan Kreativitas dan Cinta Lingkungan Anak Pekerja Migran di Sanggar Bimbingan Kepong Malaysia dengan Proyek Pancasila Berbasis Zero Waste

This service aims to foster creativity and love for the environment in the children of migrant workers at the Kepong Guidance Center, Kuala Lumpur, through the Zero Waste-Based Pancasila Project. Children of migrant workers often face a variety of difficulties, such as lack of access to essential services and difficult economic conditions. This program provides formal and value-based education of Pancasila, which is integrated with the concept of zero waste. Through lecture and participatory methods, children are taught to utilize waste, especially paper, into products of economic value. This activity not only improves creative and critical thinking skills, but also in stills environmental sustainability values. The results of the program show the active participation and high enthusiasm of the children in the educational and practical process. In addition to increasing creativity, the program also strengthens children's awareness of the importance of an eco-friendly lifestyle and social responsibility. This program makes a positive contribution to improving the quality of life and future opportunities of migrant workers' children.

Brain Drain or Brain Circulation? The Impact of Gaza’s 7th October War on the Displaced Academicians and Personnel of Higher Education Institutions

The unprecedented Gaza war in October 2023 had a catastrophic impact on the Palestinian higher education sector in the Gaza Strip: deaths, injuries, psychological trauma to educators, and destruction to educational premises and their facilities. Major concerns include displacement, diminished access to education, and the subsequent exodus of qualified professionals from the country. These factors are exacerbated by increasing reduction or complete cessation of education, and infrastructure degradation in the war zone areas. This study aims to explore and examine the impact of the Gaza war crisis on higher education academicians and personnel which has intrinsically hampered education, research, and science. This study adopts a qualitative method by interviewing university academicians from Gaza addressing the impact of the war crisis on their careers. These interviews scope the barriers and sketch the scale and nature of challenges for the higher educational sector during the war aiming to record the most important decisions and interventions to maintain the continuity of the education process forward.

A new approach to business ethics education: Virtual reality-based flipped learning

Paying attention to business ethics and educating ethical leaders and employees can impact organizational performance. Effective professional ethics education and learning can prevent administrative corruption, embezzlement and fraud in organizations. On the other hand, the development of digital technologies has created transformations in educational processes and methods. Evaluating the effectiveness of innovative teaching methods will greatly help the learning process of individuals and educational planning of business schools. Flipped learning is an educational approach in which students learn about course content before class. Accordingly, the aim of this research is to evaluate the impact of virtual reality (VR)-based flipped learning compared to the traditional method of teaching business ethics. This study was applied and quasi-experimental. Among business students of Shiraz University, 135 people were randomly divided into three groups. The first experimental group underwent training with the flipped learning method based on VR and the second experimental group underwent training with the traditional method and the third group was the control group. The control group didn't receive training and was selected only for the purpose of comparison with experimental groups. Pretest and posttest designs were used and the results of the three groups were compared using the Tukey test. The results showed that the two groups that received business ethics education had a significant difference compared to the control group. An important finding of this study revealed that among the two teaching methods, VR-based flipped learning had a greater impact on students' business ethics compared to the traditional teacher-centered approach. Accordingly, university managers and business ethics course instructors can facilitate the learning process using VR-based flipped learning. Designing simulation software for ethical scenarios is also a suitable solution for teaching business ethics.
