InUkrainein recent years the process of higher education reorganization has been under way. The action taken is necessary in order to improve the quality in higher education for further competition with European educational institutions, to create a modern research environment, as well as to increase the role of higher education in the future work of the population. The most important areas of reorganization should include the convergence of education with real production sphere and growing importance of the commercial component of educational activity. The article discusses the examples of successful implementation of such development vector by creating exhibition, museum and presentation complexes on the basis of the university. These complexes are aimed at providing substantive interaction with practice and are, from a commercial point of view, attractive objects to manufacturers, city administrations and the university itself, capable of demonstrating their scientific and technical achievements in a similar way. The purpose of this study is to analyze the global practice of creating exhibition space and applying the information received in developing a conceptual proposal for creating a museum in the structure of Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Dnipro.The reorganization of the academy involves the creation of new training units, which should take on the functions of moderators and contact information and commercial zones in the structure of the premises of the academy. There is also a need to create additional attractive objects that simultaneously support the general educational process.
