Establishing Sustainable Education for Fashion and Textiledesign According to the SDG

Objective: This study aimed to integrate Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into fashion and textile industry education. It sought to connect the supply chain and address the growing demand for sustainability in the industry through interdisciplinary solutions. Theoretical Framework: Several key theoretical concepts and models were grounded. The SDGs provided a broad framework for integrating environmental, ethical, and social considerations into industry practices. The Triple Bottom Line (TBL) theory was used to understand how economic, environmental, and social dimensions could be balanced in the fashion and textile industry. Additionally, Stakeholder Theory was employed to analyze the interactions between academic institutions and industry supply chains. Method: A qualitative analysis was employed, focusing on how sustainable development was practiced in architectural education. Industry professionals were interviewed to understand industry experiences and needs. A literature review method was used to systematically collect, assess, and synthesize existing research findings. Results and Discussion: The results obtained revealed that fashion and textile colleges needed to establish teaching methods guided by the SDGs. Both academic and supply chain responses were positive, highlighting the potential and feasibility of this teaching model. Research Implications: The practical and theoretical significance of this study was discussed, providing insights into how the research findings could be applied or impact sustainable teaching models. These implications could endow designers with necessary sustainability knowledge, skills, and tools in education, strengthen the connection between the supply chain and academia, and enhance interdisciplinary collaboration to drive the fashion and textile industry towards greater sustainability and circularity. Originality/Value: This study contributed to the literature by collecting and synthesizing existing research findings. It demonstrated the value and relevance of the research by guiding academic and supply chain cooperation and enhancing interdisciplinary integration with the SDGs.

Evaluating the Impact of Behavioral Stress on Employee Productivity and Innovation in the Higher Education Sector of Pakistan

This research examines the effect of behavioral stress on employees’ performance and innovativeness in the higher education Industry of Pakistan. This involves forces put on the employees from personal or organizational factors which place psychological and emotional strains on them. In HEIs, these pressures are further compounded by workload, management pressure and expectations, role clarity and identity confusion, and fast technological changes that characterize the sector that could impact on individual and contextual productivity. The proposed research also follows a mixed-methods approach aimed at identifying the correlation between behavioral stress with productivity and innovation of the employees. Using a questionnaire, quantitative data were obtained from academic as well as administrative staff drawn from different universities in Pakistan regarding their stress level, job performance, and innovation capability. More open-ended interviews were conducted to establish which of these causes of stress impinges on the employees’ performance of their creative roles and output. These findings revealed the negative relationship between behavioral stress and averagely poor productivity of the employees since the high levels of stress affected efficiency, job interest, and performance of the employees. Another area, which promote creativity, open-mindedness and freedom, failed as stressed workers said that they had lower probability to experiment or introduce new ideas. Other organizational characteristics like lack of support from managers, role ambiguity and also scarcity of resources compounded the stress level of the employees and thereby limiting their productivity and innovation. But the employees who had positive leadership styles and good organizational climate experienced less stress and worked better in terms of performance and innovation. Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that one of the constructs; behavior stress is a key factor that degrades both, productivity and innovation in higher education sector of Pakistan. To overcome this, institutions should come up with supportive policies that will enhance work life balance, communications and counseling services. Therefore, by dealing with stress organizers and self-organizers, higher education institutions can create the best working environment that will be healthy, innovative and productive.

Developing a Professional Learning Community for Pre-service Teachers Majoring in "History Education", "History and Geography Education" through Vocational Training at the University of Education, Vietnam National University, Hanoi

The field of teacher professional development has been extensively researched, while pre - service teacher professional development has received little attention. This article focuses on creating a professional learning community for “History Education”, “History and Geography Education” students. Pre - service teachers are individuals who have not yet officially entered the profession; they serve as the high school reserve team and the "future generation" of the education industry. As a result, focusing on developing professional knowledge and competence for them is seen as one of the most pressing challenges, particularly in light of the constant changes in education that necessitate prompt adaptation and adjustment by teachers. The solution that we propose is to create professional learning communities for pre - service teachers through vocational training programs at universities. We perceive that the recommended approaches can have produced positive results in terms of boosting their understanding and professional training.

Dynamic Question Generation using NER with various Feature Extraction and NLP Techniques

The purpose of the Automatic Question Generator is to produce novel questions from the given text that are both linguistically natural, semantically precise, and syntactically coherent. Unlike activities such as summarization and paraphrase, replies play a vital role in question-answering tasks. The creation of multiple-choice questions involves the use of distractions of high quality and the formulation of successful questions. This technology enables instructors to generate multiple-choice assessment questions including both right answers and distractors. An instructor may promptly evaluate a student's understanding of the material. This method enables students to assess their own comprehension level of the topic matter. This technique is beneficial for generating assessment papers for evaluation in the educational industry. Teachers may develop questions about their topics by duplicating or transferring one or more paragraphs. In this paper we proposed an dynamic question generation using Named Entity Recognition (NER), Natural Language Processing (NLP) based approach with conventional learning techniques. The proposed NLP-NER based approach is applicable on heterogeneous as well as large text dataset. However, a compilation of inquiries is generated, derived from the texts that were identified as noteworthy or informative. Various methods of inquiry often yield questions that are primarily focused on gathering factual information, such as inquiries about individuals, time, location, reasons, and details. A natural language processing programme facilitates the comprehension of language and spoken communication by machines. The approach dissects the material into its constituent elements, deciphers the meaning of the language, selects the appropriate actions, and ultimately delivers the content to the user in a comprehensible language.

EVOLUTION OF FORMS OF STATE REGULATION IN THE LOGISTICS SPHERE

The article summarizes the evolution of forms of state regulation in the logistics sphere. The architecture of the system of state regulation in logistics involves a structured and complex approach to the management of logistics processes at the state level. It includes several main components that interact to ensure the efficient functioning of the logistics services market. The study of the architecture of logistics systems makes it possible to clearly define their structure and functional relationships, which significantly affects the effectiveness of material flow management. Micrologistics, metallogistics, mesologistics, macrologistics and global logistics systems have their own peculiarities of state regulation. The global logistics system is an integrated network that ensures the efficient movement of goods at the international level, supporting sustainable development and competitiveness. State regulation of logistics in Ukraine is carried out through direct and indirect forms, each of which has its own characteristics and advantages. The balance between state control and market freedom is key to effective regulation of logistics. Direct and indirect regulation can be used together to achieve optimal results, taking into account the historical context and specific needs of the country. The implementation of digital technologies and innovations is an important element of modern state regulation of logistics services. Digitization, in particular the creation of a state logistics blockchain platform (DLBP), can significantly increase the transparency, efficiency and security of logistics operations at the national level. DLBP unites various participants in the logistics process, providing up-to-date data exchange and automation of business processes, which reduces bureaucratic barriers, reduces paperwork, optimizes routes and resources, and also contributes to reducing costs and delays. Research results indicate that the development of a scientific research base in the field of logistics can provide a scientific basis for effective supply chain management models. Investment in education and personnel training for the logistics industry is another important element of successful government regulation. The formation of a professional community that possesses modern knowledge and skills in the field of logistics will contribute to increasing the overall competitiveness of the national economy.

This paper aims to delve into the teaching reform of undergraduate-level business administration programs and explore best practices and strategies. With the continuous evolution of the business environment and the rise of globalization, business administration programs face new challenges and opportunities. In order to nurture graduates capable of meeting modern business demands, educational institutions must actively reform their curriculum. This paper will explore in-depth how to successfully implement reforms in undergraduate education, including best practices and strategies in curriculum design, teaching methods, teacher training, and student engagement. Through case studies and literature reviews, this paper will provide practical recommendations for improving business administration program curricula.

Take the educational leadership and management major as an example

Under the background of the continuous improvement of China's modern education system, the doctoral curriculum development system has changed a lot. Through the scientific development of doctoral courses, the quality of doctoral talent training can be improved. Research on the Challenges and Paths of Industry Education Integration in Vocational Colleges

This article aims to explore the challenges and effective paths that vocational colleges face in deepening the integration of industry and education. The integration of industry and education, as an important trend in the development of higher vocational education, aims to improve the quality of talent cultivation and meet market demand through the close integration of education and industry. However, vocational colleges currently face many challenges in the practice of integrating industry and education, including low enthusiasm for enterprise participation, insufficient practical experience of teachers, and poor information exchange. To address these issues, this article proposes a series of strategies and paths: firstly, to strengthen the guiding role of enterprises and enhance their enthusiasm and initiative in participating in the integration of industry and education; Secondly, strengthen the construction of the teaching staff, enhance their practical abilities and market awareness; Once again, establish an information exchange platform to promote effective communication and resource sharing between schools and enterprises; Finally, optimize the practical teaching process to enhance students' practical abilities and professional competitiveness. By implementing these strategies, this article aims to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance for vocational colleges to deepen the integration of industry and education, promote the comprehensive improvement of vocational education quality, and provide strong talent support for social and economic development.

Putting on an act: learning service behaviour in young women’s vocational education and training for hospitality work

ABSTRACT Young people training for work in the hospitality industry learn that the occupation involves taking on a role in order to handle the emotional demands of guests. This article, based on Hochschild’s theory of emotional labour, focuses on young women’s experiences in the Swedish vocational education and training for the hospitality industry. The aim of the study is to analyse and critically examine ideas about good service such as putting on an act and how this role-play is shaped by gender. The data are derived from focus group interviews with 52 young women in hospitality training programmes. In these programmes, service behaviour ideas about what constitutes good service in terms of subordination, femininity and heterosexuality are normalised. The young women do not unreflectively absorb the conditions that service work entails. However, the education gives them little opportunity to gain knowledge about societal gender order and the possibility of understanding their life with that insight. One conclusion is that service behaviour in the form of putting on an act that students learn in vocational education and training is problematic, as it reinforces power hierarchies and leaves young women to single-handedly manage problems that arise in service work.

“There is Demand, There is a Market”: Implementation of the Prohibitive Chinese Double Reduction Shadow Education Policy—From the Tutors’ Perspective

Amidst the growing prominence of shadow education (known as supplementary tutoring) in China and the implementation of the Double Reduction Policy (prohibiting academic tutoring for compulsory schooling stage students), this study presents a comprehensive assessment of tutor responses to the implementation of the Double Reduction Policy and investigates the dynamic landscape of the shadow education sector, considering historical and contemporary developments. Employing a qualitative research approach, semi-structured interviews were conducted with a sample of seven tutors, consisting of both institutional and private tutors. Thematic analysis was applied to the interview data to identify and interpret key themes. The findings show that while the Double Reduction Policy exhibits efficacy in certain aspects, the emergence of alternative approaches poses potential challenges to its overall effectiveness. Notably, this research offers a novel perspective by incorporating the viewpoints of tutors, shedding light on the potential trajectories of Chinese shadow education within the context of the Double Reduction Policy. Furthermore, this study contributes valuable insights to the scholarly discourse and serves as a pivotal reference for policymakers and stakeholders involved in the governance of the shadow education industry.

The application of effective tracking model in the design of student knowledge education games

As the boost of the economy and the improvement of residents’ living standards, education issues are receiving increasing attention; In response to the issue of rational design of educational games, this study investigates the application of effective tracking models in the design of student knowledge education games. Firstly, this study constructs a personalized knowledge tracking model in view of multi feature fusion; Then, it builds a contextualized narrative education game model integrated with the Adaptive learning framework. The results show that when 40% training set is selected, the accuracy of the personalized knowledge tracking model in view of multi feature fusion is the highest, 0.98, the lowest root mean square error is 0.25, and the lowest Mean absolute error is 0.21; The accuracy of Bayesian knowledge tracking is the lowest, 0.57 in the best case, and the Mean absolute error and Root-mean-square deviation are the highest; When the hidden unit is 16, the area index under the working characteristic curve of the model’s subjects is the highest, around 0.964; The average attention level of students in contextual narrative games reached 4.2245, with a SD of 0.7511; The average of knowledge transfer reached 4.1082, with a SD of 0.7881; The average score of students for the feedback dimension of the research design game is 4.736, and the average score for the learning content dimension is 4.529. In summary, the model possesses excellent application effects in the design of educational games and possesses a promoting influence on the advancement of the education industry.

Pre-service Teachers and Online Learning Technology in Practice Today: Perceptions, Preparedness and Competence in E-practicum

Teaching has gone beyond mere memorizing of rules and the use of talk and chalk method of teaching. Learning is no longer tied to the four-walls of the classroom hence teachers should adapt to the new digital way of learning. This paper investigated pre-service teachers’ perceptions, preparedness and competence in using virtual meeting solutions (Zoom and Google Meet) in non-physical classroom practicum. Three hundred and fifty two preservice teachers selected from the Faculty of Education of a Nigerian University participated in the descriptive research study. A validated close-ended questionnaire and self-rated rating scale were used to gather data from the respondents. The study found out that: i) the respondents perceived the use of Zoom and Google Meet for e-practicum as solutions for teaching and learning in the 21st century; ii) most of the respondents were not adequately prepared for the integration of Zoom and Google Meet into e-teaching practicum; iii) respondents were not pedagogically competent to use Zoom and Google Meet for teaching practicum. This study showed some lapses in TPs’ personal development in basic computational skills and teacher digital education programmes. The study suggested solutions that would be useful for concerned stakeholders in digital education industry.

Revolutionising the Indian Government School System with the Help of AI and other New Age Technological Developments

Education is essential for individuals to participate in a democratic society, enjoy their rights and fulfil their responsibilities. -John Dewey For a man to be able to negotiate a community life in fulfilling ways and develop a sense of autonomy is the elementary purpose of education. Hence a strong public education system is a requisite for the needs of all, even for the poor and marginalised sections of the society. The norm followed in India is to run behind private education institutes and run away from government schools because of the inadequate infrastructure and demotivated staff. Hence to break these shackles of stereotype mindset, implementing AI at government schools to maximise the quality of education and reach every part of the number one populous country stands important. Not just reaching a large number but also to alter the age-old pattern of learning, with the aid of new technologies and AI the learning process could be given a new direction where the needs of each learner will be met based upon their grasping and understanding of the subject. AI will also play a crucial role in beating the shortage of staff. Private organisations have adopted VR and AR to create immersive and engaging learning experiences, while other new-age technologies such as cloud computing, learning analytics, and blockchain are also used to achieve monopoly in the private education industry. The Indian government should invest in developing and implementing AI-powered learning platforms and other new-age technologies in government schools to serve every Indian who can not afford private institutions. The government should also provide training to teachers on how to use these technologies effectively with certification. By doing so, the Indian government can help to ensure that all students have access to a high-quality modern education. For a country as massive as India in terms of population and democracy both, implementing it is not an easy task, but if changes are made in the legislation to revolutionise the Government school system in India , days are not far where AI will take the whole education system on to an affirmative path. By examining the relationship between construction workers' understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, their sentiments on the law, and their perception of compliance with the law, and their perception of the law, this study attempted to find ways to increase the effectiveness of the Occupational Safety and Health Act in the construction industry. The subjects of this study were 345 construction workers who participated in safety and health education in the construction industry, and data from 322 people were used for statistical analysis, excluding 23 copies whose survey responses were unfaithful or suspected of validity. The research tools consisted of sociodemographic questions, matters related to understanding the Occupational Safety and Health Act, matters related to emotions (feeling) about the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and matters related to awareness of compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. The SPSS WIN 29.0 program was used for the analysis of the study, and frequency analysis of demographic characteristics was conducted, and descriptive statistics analysis by scale was conducted. The Pearson correlation coefficient was obtained to find out the relationship between the understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the emotions on Occupational Safety and Health Act, and the perception of compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act, and multiple regression analysis was conducted to find out the effect of law understanding and emotion on compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Act. In addition, a mediating effect analysis was conducted using SPSS Process Macro to find out the mediating effect of emotions on the law in the relationship between the understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the perception of law compliance. As a result of this study, first, there was a significant correlation between the understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, the perception of law compliance, and the emotions on the law. Second, the understanding of the Occupational Safety and Health Act and the emotions on the law showed a significant effect on the perception of law compliance. Third, it was found that the emotions on the Occupational Safety and Health Act played a role in mediating the understanding of the law and the perception of compliance with the law. This study will contribute to understanding and complying with the Industrial Safety and Health Act in the construction industry in the future and establishing an effective safety and health management system based on this.

This is scientific research on how to overcome the current shortage of high school teachers. Population growth and economic deterioration are the main causes of reduced investment in education; Schools receive little investment in additional construction to meet the learning needs of students; Investment in teacher training has not been increased. Besides the pressure at work, teachers receive low salaries, which is also the cause of teachers quitting their jobs. If this situation persists, it will affect the quality of education and the source of high-quality technical labor in the future. To conduct this research, the authors conducted many surveys on students, parents, teachers, principals, leaders of the education industry and synthesized opinions in the media and press. The research work suggests that the most effective solution to the current teacher shortage is to build shared e-learning and e-educational resources for high school students nationwide combined with opening online classes as well as tests and exams.
