The objective of this study was to evaluate four Citrange hybrid, mandarin Sunki Tropical and the Rangpur Lemon ‘Santa Cruz’ under saline stress during the formation of rootstocks, in an experiment carried out in a greenhouse, with randomized design in blocks, with five repetitions, five levels of salinity of the irrigation water (control, irrigation with tap water, electrical conductivity (ECw) of 0,41 dS.m-1 and water with ECw 1,0; 2,0; 3,0 and 4,0 dS.m-1) and six genotypes, with four plants, during 150 days during which growth and physiologic variables were evaluated. Genotype and salinity effects were observed in most of the variables evaluated with strong reduction in total dry matter and good correlations with others variables. The Rangpour lemon presented smaller growth reduction and the hybrid CTARG-015, CTARG-081 and CTC13-005 linear reductions with salinity. The Rangpur lemon is indicated for formation of the citrus rootstocks under salinity.
