Reduplikasi pada Tembang Dolanan Jawa

The culture of politeness adopted by the Javanese ethnic group means that the people often use indirect conversation to convey certain intentions. One of the roles of tembang dolanan is as a tool to convey ideas in the form of moral messages, since tembang dolanan contains good messages for life. So, studying Javanese, especially the reduplication process in dolanan songs, is important. The purpose of this analysis is to represent the forms and meanings that are often found in tembang dolanan, so that it can show the distinctive characteristics of the text/lyrics of tembang dolanan. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive research method, namely to describe the forms of reduplications, and to analyze the meaning contained in reduplication qualitatively. Research data collection was carried out by repeatedly reading, listening, and taking notes. The data was analyzed using the concept of reduplication in Javanese by Wijana (2021). From the research results it was found that the most widely used type of reduplication was full reduplication with 29 occurrences. Meanwhile, regarding the type of meaning, the emergence of the meaning of continuity dominates 25 times in the tembang dolanan. Stimulating Cultural Literacy and Citizenship Through Javanese Songs at Ra Baitul Muttaqien Selomerto

This study aims to analyze the stimulation of cultural literacy and citizenship through Javanese dolanan songs at RA Baitul Mutaqin. This research is a qualitative research and data collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Observations are used to obtain data on the implementation of cultural literacy and citizenship stimulation through Javanese dolanan songs. Interviews were used to find out the initial process of initiating the stimulation of cultural literacy and citizenship through the Javanese Dolanan song. While the documentation is used to find out the activities carried out to stimulate cultural literacy and citizenship through the Javanese song Dolanan. Based on the results of data analysis on the implementation of cultural literacy and citizenship stimulation through the Javanese Dolanan song at RA Baitul Mutaqin Selomerto, it started from a lack of children's knowledge regarding cultural literacy and citizenship through the Javanese Dolanan song. Therefore, it is necessary to stimulate cultural literacy and citizenship through the Javanese Dolanan song performed by an early childhood educator.

Transformation of the Oral Tradition of Javanese Dolanan Songs in the Gresik Community

This study aims to analyse the transformation of oral tradition development including the form of transformation and the impact of transformation on Gresik society. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study strategy by focusing on the subject under study. Data sources consist of primary data which includes interviews and observations of the religious tourism environment in Gresik Regency. While secondary data comes from documentation including literature studies, archival documents of “tembang dolanan” and religious tourism profiles of Gresik Regency. The technique of taking informants using snowball sampling is by selecting key informants from traditional leaders, local government officials, the surrounding community and elementary school students. Data validity using source triangulation by presenting the findings of one then combined with other data findings. Data analysis uses four components, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion drawing and verification. The results showed that the forms of “tembang dolanan” transformation are changes in function, socialisation media, and lyric modification. These three changes go hand in hand with the changing times so that its existence still exists in Gresik society. While the impact of the transformation becomes learning material in schools, a means of creativity to accompany children's games and praise, and becomes a cultural heritage of oral tradition in Gresik society. Changing mindsets, cultural values, changing generations and technological developments are the main factors in this transformation process.

Tembang Dolanan Sebagai Media Pembelajaran PAI dalam Membangkitkan Nilai Religius Peserta Didik

Education must integrate spiritual and cultural excellence, one of which is by using the media tembang dolanan. Cultural products such as traditional songs can be used as learning media that are infused with religious character values and virtues. One of these songs is Sluku-Sluku Bathok. Sluku-sluku bathok has a rich meaning that the creator wants to convey to the people who hear it. After an in-depth analysis of the song Sluku-Sluku Bathok has religious values that include the dimensions of faith, worship, and morals contained in each lyric. To instil Islamic values based on local wisdom in education, strong support is needed from institutions that care about the importance of these religious values. The school curriculum that has been prepared and implemented well shows that the institution has provided strong support in realising this hope. The approach used to instil local wisdom-based Islamic values to students is to cultivate religious values based on local wisdom, one of which is using this dolanan song. The role playing model is one of the models to implement the Sluku-Sluku Bathok song in PAI learning methodology so that it can internalise religious values.

Introduction to Islamic Characters through Children's Karawitan at KB Among Putro Jangkang Sleman

Indonesia's diverse culture is unique to each region, especially Javanese culture. Javanese society that is thick in its character becomes an ancestral heritage that must be preserved. The large number of young people who are not interested in Javanese culture, it is very important to preserve it starting with introducing karawitan in early childhood. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the research subjects of KB Among Putro Jangkang Sleman students aged 3-6 years. 
 The results of the study showed that karawitan can introduce Islamic characters to children by collaborating with various school stakeholders such as heads, teachers and parents of guardians of students. The character is introduced through a dolanan song and sung along with a gamelan instrument. The child easily understands the song and the meaning contained in the song..

Pengembangan Buku Pengayaan Pada Materi Tembang Dolanan Bagi Siswa Kelas III SD

In learning at school, sometimes teachers find it difficult to explain and teach the tembang dolanan due to the lack of teaching materials that explain details about it. The purpose of this study was to determine the teacher's needs for the development of enrichment books, compile a prototype for the development of enrichment books, and describe the results of the expert validation test on the development of enrichment books. This research was conducted using an R&D approach from Borg & Gall. The target sources data are students, teachers, media experts, and material experts. Data collection techniques are interview techniques and filling out questionnaires. The results of this study include (1) the analysis of teacher needs for the development of enrichment books on the material (tembang dolanan), that teachers want interesting complementary teaching materials for learning tembang dolanan for third-grade elementary school students. (2) the development of the prototype includes a book cover designed with children's pictures, while the contents of the book consist of ten lists of dolanan songs and their meanings. (3) The results of the expert validation test got several improvements from the validator, namely, adding page numbers, changing the title font of the dolanan song, correcting wrong diction, correcting wrong lyrics, and replacing some dolanan songs that are not in accordance with learning.

The Use of Powerpoint-Based Interactive Plywood Gamelan in Learning Local Sound Art in Elementary Schools

Students' low interest and learning achievement towards the Local Sound Art is the main problem in this study. As a step to improve learning, classroom action research was conducted. The purpose of this study is to describe students' interest and achievement in Local Sound Art after applying Interactive plywood gamelan based on PowerPoint to elementary school students. The research applied classroom action research methods. The steps taken are by carrying out the learning cycle I to cycle II. Students learn each material interactively in PowerPoint until they arrive at the gamelan playing menu. The menu will be connected to plywood gamelan, which guides students to play the notes in the macapat and dolanan songs independently. The PowerPoint-based plywood gamelan media is proven to increase students' interest and learning achievement. Data from research used observational data and assessment data of song material. The student activity was increased from the early stages. The number of good categories was eight students (40%) and fewer categories 12 students (60%). This research concludes that PowerPoint-based interactive plywood gamelan is effective in learning local sound arts in elementary schools because students' interests and learning outcomes are on average completed.

Lagu Dolanan dalam Permainan Tradisional sebagai Strategi Inovasi Pendidikan Sendratasik

Dolanan songs in traditional games as an innovation strategy for the art education of drama, dance, and music. This research focuses on constructing alternative learning in an innovation strategy of art education of drama, dance, and music through dolanan songs in traditional children's games. Alternative strategies are needed in providing diversification of learning because the problem that occurs in the art education of drama, dance, and music is the existence of cultural conflicts that impact the stagnation of the learning model. The choice of the dolanan song is due to its meaning and philosophy, which have aesthetic value in aspects of motion, drama, and music with the ability to adapt to the dynamics of science and technology. A library method is an approach used to construct an innovation strategy from the meaning contained in the text of children's traditional game songs. They implicitly have imaginative factors, particular messages, and aesthetic elements. Therefore, they can be relevant to the social conditions of society in the new cultural order. Based on the elaboration done in the study, three strategies are found which can answer the research problems, and are used in developing the art education of drama, dance, and music. They are as follows: firstly, the strategy of revitalizing the dolanan song in traditional children's games; secondly, the art education of drama, dance, and music is an appreciation education about aesthetic meaning; and thirdly, the formal transmission strategy of traditional transmission children's games through schools.

Pembentukan Karakter Melalui Lagu Dolalan pada Mata Pelajaran Bahasa Jawa

Character building in students can be done through a variety of subjects delivered by the teacher. This qualitative research using a case study describes the dolanan song in Javanese language subjects which is used to shape the character of students at MI Miftahul Huda Papungan 01 Blitar. The findings in this study, among others: First, the dolanan song functions as a medium to convey moral values ​​to students, such as obedience to religious teachings, love for the homeland and nation, togetherness, cooperation, and others; Second, there are dolanan songs that contain educative value and vice versa, a teacher must choose dolanan songs that contain educational values ​​for students; Third, several songs that can be found in this research, among others: Cublak-Cublak Suweng, Menthog-Menthog, Kidang Talun, Tikus Buntung, Gotri, and others; Fourth, most students feel happy and excited when singing the dolanan song because the song can be sung while playing (dolanan). Dolanan songs can also be used as an alternative to relieve tension in students when they are bored with thinking activities.

DISSECTING IMPLICIT MEANING IN TEMBANG DOLANAN: A DISCOURSE ANALYSIS

This article uses discourse analysis to examine dolanan songs such as Sluku-Sluku Bathok, Cublak-Cublak Suweng, Lir-Ilir, Gundul-Gundul Pacul, and Kloso Bedah. The method used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method so that the data can be described as clearly and objectively as possible by the researchers' subjective views. To avoid bias on the validity of the research results, triangulation was carried out by comparing the researchers' interpretations with some supporting literature. The result of this research is that five dolanan songs contain many meanings. The songs offer a deep meaning about the condition of the environment that grows around it to increase the value of character, good behavior, the environment - especially cleanliness, health, and religious life. The character values are conveyed through satire or humor. Dolanan songs have meanings, both explicit and implicit, about this life. These songs are neatly arranged both in terms of structural both physically and mentally. Javanese children's songs contain poetry filled with language games, such as alliteration, assonance, poetry, and rhythm.

KOLABORASI ILUSTRASI DAN TEMBANG DOLANAN DALAM PENCIPTAAN MEDIA EDUKASI COVID-19 DI SURAKARTA

The Covid-19 outbreak has attacked the community, where the Indonesian Government has handled the pandemic outbreak from health, social, politicaDolanan Song, Illustration, Covid-19, Education, Elementary School Students.l, economic and other related aspects. Various educational media, information, and publications regarding the prevention and spread of this virus have also been carried out in multiple ways and with multiple media. Dissemination of information about the Corona outbreak is needed by all groups, from all age groups, economic status, gender, demographics and other aspects. Likewise, for elementary students, at that age, the information can be used as a guide later, both now and future. An appropriate media for segmentation is needed so that the information presented is acceptable and attractive. Alternative media for illustrated collaboration with tembang dolanan contain moral teachings and conveying media that can apply Dolanan Song, Illustration, Covid-19, Education, Elementary School Students.in preserving mother tongue and character education. The purpose of creating art is children's illustration work and dolanan songs containing interesting material and publication media regarding the prevention and spread of the Covid-19 virus to elementary school students. The method of creating artwork has 6 (six) stages, namely: Discovery, Interpretation, Ideation, Experimentation, Evolution, and Implementation. Through this media, it hoped that it could increase understanding and knowledge, especially elementary school students, in preventing and overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak so that the attack can soon subside.

Tembang Dolanan Jawa sebagai Media Pendidikan Karakter

JAVANESE TEMBANG MUSIC AS A CHARACTER EDUCATION MEDIA. The purpose of this study was to study about Dolanan Song can be character media or develop character in Sidogemah Village. Dolanan song is a tradition in Sidogemah Village to develop the character of young children. This research was carried out for 6 months, housed in Sidogemah Village, Sayung Subdistrict, Demak Regency Data collection techniques using the method of observation, documentation, and interview. This research used etnography method with descriptive qualitative. Then the results are obtained that Dolanan song is a song from generation to generation in the land of Java, containing deep meaning. Parenthood is conveyed by parents to children as a form of character education. The process of character education by parents of children in Sidogemah Village, Sayung Subdistrict, Demak Regency is developed before going to sleep, at school, and when children play. The process of character building of children through dolanan song in Sidogemah Village, Sayung District, Demak Regency can be classified into three, namely knowing, doing and caring.

Pendidikan Karakter Berbasis Local Wisdom (studi kasus di TK Islam PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi’ah Desa Wilangan Kecamatan Sambit Kabupaten Ponorogo)

Developing powerful communications technology has created unlimited free communication. The negative impact of this phenomenon is when a culture that is not good from the outside is swallowed out by children who are still young. As a result, it will easily experience cultural dislocation. One of the legacies of local wisdom that are not interested in the midst of the community is the Javanese dolanan song. Therefore all efforts must be sought from the very beginning. These efforts can be done through various ways, including habituation of children to play and sing songs (songs) dolanan Javanese, which actually contains a lot of character values.
 This study included a descriptive study, a case study at PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. This study aims to describe; 1. Describe the form of character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. 2. Describe the strategy for implementing character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. 3. Describe the results of character education in PAS Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Islamic Kindergarten. This research includes field research using a qualitative approach. In collecting data, the author uses the method of interviews, observation, and documentation as a data collection technique. The technique chosen in data analysis is data reduction, data display and conclusions or verification.
 From this study it can be seen that: 1. the form of character education in PAS Islamic Kindergarten Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan is a local widom-based character education (local wisdom) in the form of Javanese dolanan songs. There are three dolanan songs used for character planting, namely Sluku-sluku Bathok, gundul-gundul Pachol and Menthok-menthok. 2. The strategy for the implementation of character education in PAS Islamic Kindergarten Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan is to use reflective methods. This can be proven by giving an explanation of moral values ​​to students, after the song is finished the song is sung both in class before the core lesson begins or while playing outside the classroom. 3. The results of character education at PAS Islam Munqidzatun Nasyi'ah Wilangan Kindergarten have fulfilled the values ​​of the basic characters, namely: a. Respectful and polite character through greeting each other and shaking hands. b. This character of independence and responsibility can be seen from throwing garbage in its place.

Preservation of Traditional Children’s Songs Through the Development of Traditional Music Patrol Learning Materials Based on Creative Music

This research develops patrol composition material that is working on creative music that aims to make students interested because the songs that are sung are not only traditional but are now the children's favorite now also doal songs that are worked on in the form of creative music. This study uses a development research approach (development research), which is a research method used to produce certain products and test the effectiveness of the product and its approach through qualitative ethnomusicology that is packaged through the concept of cultivation. In general, the products of this research will facilitate teachers in teaching art to students. This happens because the material has been developed according to students' appreciation. This development product will add students' interest in dolanan songs. In addition to the interesting learning material, the material is packaged more interactively so that students enjoy patrol learning so that learning can be more effective, efficient and well targeted.

PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER UNGGUL DAN NASIONALIS PADA ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI SEKAR RARE

<p><em>Character Building must be started in early age. Hence, the earlier children were acquainted with noble value, then their basic character would be stronger in the future. Furthermore, to build such a noble character towards the children itself, their environment should reflect good and positive things vice versa. One of the methods to build their character is through introducing song for children with positive values as well as moral messages.Moral values inserted in the lyrics of children’s songs are intended to educate the development of a child’s psychology.The dolanan song or commonly known as Gending rare in Balinese culture provide such positive benefit in order to build character. Whereas, Gending Rare comprise educational values such as honesty, Concord, history, culture, nationalism, and respect other people, including other several positive things. The example of Gending Rare which will be explained in this paper is gending rare entitled “mare bangun” and “merahputih”.</em></p>

PEMBELAJARAN INTEGRASI MELALUI MATERI TEMBANG DOLANAN DALAM MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA JAWA DI MI PLUS AL-KAUTSAR YOGYAKARTA

This study aims to find out that religious values can be integrated throughJavanese language learning in dolanan song material. This type of research isqualitative research with a field research approach (field research). The resultsshowed that integration learning through dolanan song material in Javaneselanguage subjects can instill religious values in students. In Javanese languagelearning must master all four language skills, namely: listening, reading, speaking,and writing. The results of the study show that from the four language skills can beintegrated with religious values.

REAKTUALISASI TEMBANG DOLANAN JAWA DALAM RANGKA PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER BANGSA (KAJIAN SEMIOTIK)

The purpose of this study to describe (1) the meaning of song dolanan Java, (2) the values of local knowledge (local wisdom) in songs such as forming the national character, and (3) the renewal of the song is in the context of the formation of the nation’s character. Data in this descriptive qualitative study, collected through a literature review, interviews, and observation, from the sources, texts, and events. Data analysis was performed by inductively interactive models. For the meaning of Java dolanan song used method of reading a model consisting of a semiotic reading of the heuristic and hermeneutic (retroactive). The results showed that: (1) Tembang dolanan Java has the meaning that is loaded with moral messages that are important to the formation of national character, (2) The value of local wisdom in dolanan songs like “Ilir-Ilir”, “Sluku-Sluku Bathok”, “Jaranan “, and others are noble universal values as in the nine pillars of character, (3) the value of local wisdom in the song is worth direaktualisasikan dolanan Java in order to character formation, which according to the nation’s cultural roots. That is an important issue, because our nation is known for friendly, tolerant, polite and religious as the prototype of the proud nation of East and West are contrasted with the selfish, individualistic, hedonistic, and secular, as if living myth. Noble culture of the nation is now experiencing a shift due to the rise of foreign cultures in a global era life. With the expectation that the investment value of local wisdom through song dolanan renewal to be effective, needs to be implemented through the Java language learning (local charge) at the school from elementary, middle to upper.
