Pengaruh Stres Kerja, Kecemburuan Sosial dan Lingkungan Kerja Terhadap Work Life Balance

This study aims to determine the effect of work stress, social jealousy and work environment on work life balance in employees of PT. Tri Adi Bersama Hub Halim Cargo Transport Division, East Jakarta. Sampling using non-probability sampling technique with saturated sampling type totaling 50 people. Data were collected through questionnaires and analysis using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study showed that work stress had a significant negative effect on work life balance and the work environment had a significant positive effect on work life balance while social jealousy did not have a significant effect on work life balance in employees of PT. Tri Adi Bersama Hub Halim Cargo Transport Division, East Jakarta.

The Regulatory Framework on the Legal Duties of the Stakeholders in Commercial Marine Accidents at Saudi Arabia’s Regional Sea

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is aiming to diversify sources of income, develop the infrastructure of the maritime sector, and enhance interconnection with all transport sectors in the Kingdom; especially that more than 75% of maritime trade is non-oil; the most recent regulated division between the transportation divisions is the Sea Transportation. Until recently, Saudi Arabia was part of some of the international treaties and conventions that are related to the marine sector, and no local laws and regulations were enforced -except for some provisions which are part of laws and regulations that regulate other matters-. That said, the local maritime laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia were recently issued, and there is some un-clarity and ambiguity regarding the framework that determines the responsibilities of different stakeholders involved in a commercial accident when such an accident occurs on the regional water of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The issue becomes more important when a ship which is not registered or does not hold the Saudi Flag is involved in such an accident. The ambiguity of the framework makes the application of the law complicated, and accommodates negative impacts related to -without limitation-: the time consumed while removing the accident and its effects, the environmental impact on the sea, and decreasing the cost of removing or resolving such accident. The research aims to study the challenges and gaps related to the legal framework of the maritime law when it comes to accidents of commercial ships at the regional water of the Kingdom and the responsibilities of the stakeholders. The research will use the historical and descriptive-analytical doctrinal research methodology. The researcher will find where there is a room to adapt or amend regulations that might help in resolving, seizing, or covering the current gaps and challenges related to the current regulatory framework of the regional sea of Saudi Arabia attributed to the commercial marine accidents.

Optimizing Risk Mitigation Analysis of Business Development Division (Case Study: Urban Transportation Division at PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)

The community can use various alternative modes of transportation, and the train is still the choice for most Indonesian people. PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), the object of this research, has 2 main businesses, namely the railroad and the non-railroad businesses. A company’s business processes do not stop until the company benefits from the business it does, but in this highly complex and interconnected world, the risk is everywhere. Risk management is an important discipline for companies, institutions, and society in today’s modern business world. Risk management is carried out based on the ISO 31000:2018 framework. This research will discuss optimizing risk mitigation strategies as a tool for the business development division to provide effectiveness and how to implement these solutions in the real world. Sources in this study came from secondary data such as annual reports, audited financial reports, and project studies in the Urban Transportation Business Development Division of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero), discussions, and interviews with related parties. Some of the tools used in this study are PEST to analyze external companies, McKinsey 7S Framework to analyze external companies, and the Enterprises’ Risk Management method for the risk management process. Managing risk through optimizing risk mitigation can reduce and minimize loss exposure. Based on the risk matrix score results, the company can take risk treatment, whether the risk must be mitigated or accepted. The risk level score from the risk matrix is used to make underwriter decisions in the risk acceptance process at the Business Development Division of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero).

The potential accessibility to workplaces and working-age population by means of public and private car transport in Szczecin

Abstract Commuting to work is one of the key motivations for people to move around cities or other regions. For the purpose of this study, the city of Szczecin in Poland has been selected, where the modal division of transport includes public transport (bus, tram) and private transport (car). The maps present the spatial distribution of citizens within a working area as well as precise locations of workplaces registered in the REGON database. The main objective of this study is to analyse the potential accessibility of workplaces and the working-age population of the city using the abovementioned modes of transport, and to indicate the places less accessible by public transport and car for commuting purposes. The study presented herein is based on data from 2018. The calculated average accessibility by different means of public and private transport as well as the potential accessibility quotient are presented in the form of box plots.

Genome-wide identification and analysis of long non-coding RNAs involved in fatty acid biosynthesis in young soybean pods

Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are non-coding RNAs of more than 200 nucleotides. To date, the roles of lncRNAs in soybean fatty acid synthesis have not been fully studied. Here, the low-linolenic acid mutant ‘MT72′ and the wild-type control ‘JN18′ were used as materials. The lncRNAs in young pods at 30 and 40 days (d) after flowering were systematically identified and analyzed using transcriptome sequencing technology combined with bioinformatics tools. A total of 39,324 lncRNAs and 561 differentially expressed lncRNAs were identified. A lncRNAs-miRNAs-protein-coding genes (mRNAs) network was constructed, and 46 lncRNAs, 46 miRNAs and 137 mRNAs were found to be correlated. Gene Ontology (GO) and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes (KEGG) pathway analysis of 12 targeted mRNAs in the competing endogenous RNA network showed that these lncRNAs may be involved in the biological processes of fatty acid transport, lipid synthesis and cell division. Finally, the expression levels of differentially expressed lncRNAs, miRNAs and mRNAs were verified using qRT-PCR. The expression patterns of most genes were consistent with the sequencing results. In conclusion, new information was provided for the study of fatty acid synthesis by lncRNAs in young soybean pods.

Possibilities to Use Rail Transport Potential for the Needs of the Army

Purpose: The aim of the study adopted by the authors is an attempt to estimate the national railway potential from the point of view of military needs. Design/Methodology/Approach: The conducted research was focused on seeking for the solutions which could improve organisation of rail transport for the army. Findings: The article presents the condition of Polish railways and the possibility of troop movement by berths, as well as the authors’ own (pilot) research carried out in the Movement & Transportation Division - the National Movement Coordination Center, aimed at showing the possibilities of improving and moving the army by rail transport. Practical Implications: The pragmatic dimension of the conducted research was based primarily on two main research trends, i.e., the possibility of use of other carriers (from outside of PKP Group) for the transport of soldiers and the possibilities for the Armed Forces to obtain their own capabilities for rail transport. Research results can be used by entities coordinating the movement of troops by rail, including the Movement & Transportation Division - the National Movement Coordination Center. Originality/Value: The issue of possibilities of movement of the troops by rail and improve the movement of the troops by this type of transport remained outside the area of scientific interest. The proposed solutions assume an elimination of infrastructural barriers and shortages in the adequate number of the means of transport to secure the services of the soldiers for the needs of the Polish Armed Forces and of the allied troops staying on or moving through the territory of the country.

Correlation analysis method of track irregularity indexes

Research on the correlation analysis method of track irregularity indexes has an important guiding role in selecting targeted maintenance decision-making indexes and guiding maintenance decision making related to track irregularity state. In this study, the track irregularity index structures and track quality index were used to design the correlation analysis method of track irregularity indexes. To verify the effectiveness of this method, a total of 48 track inspection car historical data from September 2014 to February 2017 and November 2017 to December 2018 of the Shenmu-Shuozhou railway Hexi transportation division was used as the case study. The results show that the correlation analysis method proposed in this study can be used to effectively analyze the correlation between the track irregularity indexes. This is verified by comparing with the correlation analysis method based on the standard deviations of track irregularity indexes.

Elements of sustainable development in selected European Union countries

Motivation: The concept of sustainable development relates in particular to the analysis of the causes of excessive environmental degradation. It defines a strategy for limiting this process in three main areas: ecological, economic and socio-cultural human activity. The survey will cover selected EU countries, including Poland, in accordance with Eurostat’s sustainable development arrangements. The analysis concerns sustainable development in transport, modality of transport division, logistic efficiency and the volume of freight transport relative to GDP. Aim: The purpose of the article is to present an analysis and development of sustainable transport development in selected European Union countries by using appropriate indicators in relation to the transport of goods. Results: Relevant indicators regarding the transport of goods and identifying trends affecting the environment and society of transport in the EU have been analysed.

The targeted overexpression of SlCDF4 in the fruit enhances tomato size and yield involving gibberellin signalling

Tomato is one of the most widely cultivated vegetable crops and a model for studying fruit biology. Although several genes involved in the traits of fruit quality, development and size have been identified, little is known about the regulatory genes controlling its growth. In this study, we characterized the role of the tomato SlCDF4 gene in fruit development, a cycling DOF-type transcription factor highly expressed in fruits. The targeted overexpression of SlCDF4 gene in the fruit induced an increased yield based on a higher amount of both water and dry matter accumulated in the fruits. Accordingly, transcript levels of genes involved in water transport and cell division and expansion during the fruit enlargement phase also increased. Furthermore, the larger amount of biomass partitioned to the fruit relied on the greater sink strength of the fruits induced by the increased activity of sucrose-metabolising enzymes. Additionally, our results suggest a positive role of SlCDF4 in the gibberellin-signalling pathway through the modulation of GA4 biosynthesis. Finally, the overexpression of SlCDF4 also promoted changes in the profile of carbon and nitrogen compounds related to fruit quality. Overall, our results unveil SlCDF4 as a new key factor controlling tomato size and composition.

Introspection of Visually Impaired Children: a Qualitative Study in a Blind School of Kolkata, West Bengal

Introduction: The world has 1.3 billion people living with some form of vision impairment which is associated with problems related to mobility, education, occupation and activities of daily living leading to stress ,mental trauma and stigma of these children & their family members. Objective : Exploration of stress, stigma and mental trauma of parents of visually impaired children of a blind school, Kolkata, West Bengal. Material &Methods: It was a Qualitative study conducted from May to July in 2018 in the form of 5 Focus Group Discussion among parents of visually impaired children & Key Informant Interview of Principal of the Blind School. Result: These children ,were equipped to identify presence & activity of other people by their other senses. All parents complained about bad behavior of Bus conductors & co passengers. Children had a good relationship with parents but domestic violence and divorce was also there . Sometimes children were restricted to participate in social programme in the family . Communication difficulties between parents &children was present during illness of children. Parents had stress regarding brail technique adoption by children . Principal of the school addressed some problems like,suicidal tendency, depression etc. Conclusion: Awareness programme addressing needs ,problems & support of visually impaired children should be organized in the community, Transport Division workers etc.

Markov modeling of run length and velocity for molecular motors

ABSTRACT Molecular motors are nanometer scale proteins involved in various intracellular processes such as cargo transport, muscle contraction and cell division. The steps in the chemo-mechanical cycle that use ATP hydrolysis to generate motion along the cytoskeletal tracks can be characterized by stepping rates depending only on the current state, permitting modeling of the cycle as a Markov process. To learn more about the nature of motor motion, cell researchers have conducted in vitro experiments in which molecular motors pull beads along filaments attached to glass slides and their velocity and run length until detachment from the microtubule are recorded. A formula is derived for distance traveled until detachment. Four molecular motors for which there are run length and velocity measurements in the literature are considered. In each case the derived formulas for run length and velocity have a generalized Michaelis–Menten form as functions of ATP concentration. The degrees of the numerator and denominator polynomials increase with the complexity of chemo-mechanical cycle. The degrees of the Michaelis–Menten form determine the maximum number of reaction rates that can be determined from experimental data on run length and velocity, however consistency conditions may reduce this number and restrict which rates can be determined.

The basis of this process is the digitalization of the processes of monitoring the movement of transport and control of fuel consumption, in view of the most optimal direction for the operational reduction of production costs. The article analyzes the prerequisites and results of the use of digital technologies within the motor transport division of an agricultural organization.

U ovom radu biće razmatrana podela i karakteristike transporta sa posebnim osvrtom na transport na Aljasci. Ukazaće se na prednosti i nedostatke transporta u ovoj državi, kao i na problem sa kojima se svakodnevno suočavaju stanovnici ove zemlje. Osim toga, biće predstavljeni vidovi transporta koji su najviše zastupljeni u ovoj zemlji kao i metode za preovlađivanje geografskih i klimatskih prepreka na primeru lokalnih zanatskih pivnica.

Workload assessment on foundry SME to enhance productivity using full time equivalent

Aluminium SME aims to increase the production amount by producing wok as much as 300 Units. The problem is workload analysis of operator on the wok production line in the wok foundry SME as well as the production cycle-making cycle time and analyze the workload received by the operator when producing 300 woks using the full time equivalent (FTE) method. This study aims to measure the workload of each division worker in the production process with a total of 13 workers observed. This study provides a work division recommendation based on the workload that has been carefully examined. This research involves percentage of workload effectiveness and the wages of workers. In lathe division have overload workload. While the printing division, melting inspection division, packaging and transportation division including normal workload category and the percentage of good work effectiveness. The result provides recommendations for the addition of 2 workers in each division that includes the category of overload of the lathe division with the number of initial workers as many as 13 workers to 15 workers. In the last stage perform a simulation by comparing the system of prefix work and proposal. The simulation results obtained with the initial work system to get an average of 223 woks / day. Meanwhile, for the proposed work system to get an average output of 291 woks.

An Equilibrium Transport Formula for Modeling Sedimentation of Dredged Channels

The proposed formula for modeling sedimentation is based on a concept of hydrodynamic equilibrium in sediment transport. Hydrodynamic equilibrium occurs when the sediment transport is in a form of grain jumps with the distance traveled dx smaller than the one established in the numerical modeling. A first-order upwind scheme FDM is applied. It provides the solution to equations describing changes in bathymetry in time and space coupled with simultaneous changes of bed sediment distribution. A clear-cut division of sediment transport into those during wave crest and wave trough is proposed. The results of bathymetry modeling coincided satisfactorily with the laboratory data. Moreover, the longer the experiments run, the more the results of measurements are compliant with the calculations. A certain time is needed for sediment transport to reach the hydrodynamic equilibrium, especially when the suspended load is significant. It is reached after going through the initial stages of bed level changes coupled with simultaneous changes of grain size distribution. The application of the model to field conditions shows its ability to predict sedimentation of dredged channels. Furthermore, the calculations show a good agreement with measured bed grain size distributions of sediment samples taken from the sites within the navigational channel of Łeba Port in Poland.
