Performance Analysis of Automated Air Pollution Removable System with Fire Indicator

Air pollution and aging populations are one of the most important issues facing in the development of all countries around the world. In this project work and effort has been made to develop a air pollution removable and fire indicated for fire work industry to safety purpose. The aim of this work is to develop a fire indicated and pollution removable that will use a collect fire work chemical powder around the working area. This model implies a conversion of rotary motion to the overall system. This motion is uses for chemical dust arrest by viscous liquid to all direction in the industry. In this model we can operate two pin switches for the clock wise and antilock wise direction. the gear motor is using to rotary motion. The rotary disk is mounted on the motor spindle. The tank is resting on the rotary disk. The exhaust fan is fitted in the top position of the tank. They are two way in the tank. One is inlet for suck the pollution air another one is outlet. Bottom of the tank dust despatch valve attached. The fire indicates system is mounted on the rotary disk plate vertically. After this work performance test to the working area. This research provides a new perspective and the health effect of air pollution.

Randomized tax deadlines can help economy

PurposeWhile the main purpose of reporting – e.g. reporting for taxes – is to gauge the economic state of a company, the fact that reporting is done at pre-determined dates distorts the reporting results. For example, to create a larger impression of their productivity, companies fire temporary workers before the reporting date and re-hire then right away. The purpose of this study is to decide how to avoid such distortion.Design/methodology/approachThis study aims to come up with a solution which is applicable for all possible reasonable optimality criteria. Thus, a general formalism for describing and analyzing all such criteria is used.FindingsThis study shows that most distortion problems will disappear if the fixed pre-determined reporting dates are replaced with individualized random reporting dates. This study also shows that for all reasonable optimality criteria, the optimal way to assign reporting dates is to do it uniformly.Research limitations/implicationsThis study shows that for all reasonable optimality criteria, the optimal way to assign reporting dates is to do it uniformly.Practical implications It is found that the individualized random tax reporting dates would be beneficial for economy.Social implications It is found that the individualized random tax reporting dates would be beneficial for society as a whole.Originality/valueThis study proposes a new idea of replacing the fixed pre-determining reporting dates with randomized ones. On the informal level, this idea may have been proposed earlier, but what is completely new is our analysis of which randomization of reporting dates is the best for economy: it turns out that under all reasonable optimality criteria, uniform randomization works the best.

Turkey is geographically located in a region susceptible to wildfires. To ensure the long-way sustainability of our forests, protective measures should be taken initially, and fires that start despite precautions should be extinguished as soon and effectively as possible. The mental-physical health of fire workers was investigated in this study by examining the recent state of occupational safety and health for forest fire workers employed by the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry and assessing the psychological condition of the workers. The research sampled 246 fire workers assigned to the İzmir Regional Directorate of Forestry. Data collection was accomplished through the questionnaire method. Frequency weights and chi-square methods were used to analyze the acquired data. According to the study, 117 of the questionnaire respondents had at least one accident throughout their careers as fire workers. And 101 participants have been involved in an accident in the previous year. 70% of those with a high score on the General Health Questionnaire and 35.8% of those with a low score had an occupational accident. Psychologically, 24% of field workers felt shyness, 13.8% felt, and 2.8% felt dread. 59.4% stated that they felt nothing. As a result, it was detected that fire workers should get the required occupational safety and health training, the risks listed with accidents should be minimized, and improvements aiming for their psychosocial status should be addressed.

Microplastic abundance in the Thames River during the New Year period

Microplastic pollution is widely studied; however, research into the effects of large-scale firework displays and the impact on surrounding waterways appears to be lacking. This study is potentially the first to look at microplastic abundance in rivers after a major firework event. To assess the impact of the 2020 New Year's firework display in London, a 3 litre water sample was collected over nine consecutive days at Westminster on the River Thames. A total of 2760 pieces of microplastics (99% fibres) were counted using light microscopy, and further analysis was performed on representative plastic samples (354) using Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR). Whilst anthropogenic microfibres made up 11%, most microplastic identified (13.3%) were polychloroprene. This study demonstrates the occurrence of a short-term influx of microplastics in the River Thames following the New Year fireworks, which will have an additional detrimental impact on the ecology and aquaculture of the river and neighbouring waterways.

Discussion on the Countermeasures of Forest Fire Prevention and Fire Fighting in Huizhou, China under the New Situation

With the high-quality and rapid development of Huizhou Park City, Huizhou, China, has greater and greater ecological advantages in the development of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Bay area, and the government pays more and more attention to forestry ecological resources. However, forest fire has seriously damaged the sustainable development of forestry resources to a certain extent. Therefore, the research on forest fire prevention and extinguishing is of great significance to the protection of forestry resources. Based on this, combined with the investigation status of forest fire prevention and extinguishing work in Huizhou, this paper deeply analyzes the practical problems existing in forest fire prevention and extinguishing work, and puts forward specific countermeasures for forest fire prevention work on this basis, in order to provide reference for the majority of forest fire prevention workers to effectively carry out forest fire prevention and extinguishing work and ensure better protection of forest resources.

“Loy Krathong” or floating krathong is a long celebrated tradition in Thailand to give thanks to Ganga, a Hindu Goddess, for her kindness in providing water for all lives. Some Thais also celebrate by launching hot-air lanterns with display of fireworks. Like this long celebrated tradition, the four major indoloquinoline motifs, as seen in the picture, have long been known and used in traditional medicine for treating a variety of illnesses. They have garnered immense interest among synthetic and medicinal chemists. In this review, synthetic strategies for the preparations of these indoloquinolines are critically evaluated and summarized. More information can be found in the Review by Jumreang Tummatorn et al.

Efficacy of Taditional Yoga on Breath Holding Time and Anxiety Among Middle Aged Women Fireworkers Suffering from Pneumoconiosis

The goal of this random group experimental study was to determine the effect of Yoga therapy on selected psychosocial factors and respiratory parameters in middle-aged women with pneumoconiosis. To achieve the study's aim, 40 middle-aged pneumoconiosis-affected women aged 35 to 50 were randomly selected from fireworks manufacturing factories in Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu. The subjects were split up into two groups of 20 each: experimental and control. It was anticipated that the influences of yoga therapy would lead to significant differences in psychosocial factors and respiratory factors such as anxiety and breath holding time among middle-aged female fire worker suffering from pneumoconiosis. The experimental group received yoga therapy training for 12 weeks (six days per week). The control group was kept in a condition of active rest. Both groups had a pre-test and a posttest before and after the training. Both anxiety and the length of time spent holding one's breath were counted. The data collected from the groups before and after the training session were statistically examined using Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) to identify the significant difference and tested at 0.05 level of confidence. According to the study, yoga therapy reduces anxiety while lengthening breath holds. Therefore, it can be said that yoga therapy assisted middle-aged female fire workders with pneumoconiosis in controlling their anxiety and enhances their breath holding capacity.

This study examined the effects of transformational leadership of field commanders on fire rescue workers by dividing leadership characteristics into influence, individual consideration, and motivation. For this purpose, the survey was conducted on 4,600 firefighters across the country. The analysis of the awareness survey showed that individual caring leadership had the most impact on firefighters. Next, it was found that influence leadership and motivation leadership had the following effects. Individual caring leadership is a leadership based on humanism, such as paying attention to individual fire rescue workers and emphasizing how important the organization is to their organization. Individual caring leadership is expected to affect the self-directed structural activity capacity building and safety awareness improvement by confirming how important and important the rescue team itself is and how important it is in the rescue team.

Objectives: The study was carried out to describe the knowledge of students about fire prevention and some related factors at Kien Giang Medical College. Methods: The cross-sectional study analyzed 384 students at Kien Giang Medical College. Findings: With knowledge of handling situations when there is a fire in high-rise buildings, in supermarkets and knowledge of fire identification, the correct answer rate is quite high, 86.7% respectively; 76.8% and 72.9%. However, up to 54.2% of students answered incorrectly to the question about the most common causes of death in fires. Research shows that students actively learn knowledge about fire safety and correctly answer the emergency number of the fire brigade. Student evaluations show that the school is well equipped with fire safety facilities. The initiative of equipping students with fire safety knowledge has not been properly paid attention and invested by the school. Research results show that there is a relationship between students' knowledge of fire safety and living areas. Students living far from their families have better fire safety skills and knowledge than students living with their families. Conclusions: The school needs to develop a set of regulations and guidelines on fire safety for students. Integrating fire safety knowledge into subjects such as National Defense Education, physical training and mass activities. Maintain and further promote the fire prevention work at the school. ARIMA Model-Based Fire Rescue Prediction

In recent years, urban buildings have become taller, occupying more and more areas, frequent fires, and increasingly difficult fire rescue tasks. Predicting fire risks in advance will help fire rescue work. Therefore, this paper proposes a fire risk prediction based on the ARIMA model. By analyzing the fire rescue data of a certain place from 2016 to 2020 and based on the data from January 1, 2016, to December 31, 2019, an ARIMA model for predicting the number of fire rescue polices was established. The data from January 1, 2020, to December 31, 2020, are used as the validation data set of the model to evaluate the accuracy and stability of the model. The results show that the ARIMA model can be better applied to fire rescue prediction and provides a scientific prediction method for the research of smart fire rescue work.

Perchlorate and chlorate contamination associated with fireworks in Kerala, India

Firework displays are an integral part of festivals. Kerala is a host of innumerable firework displays. Perchlorate is used as an oxidizer in fireworks. Water samples and soil samples collected after firework display in selected sites of Kerala were analyzed using liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS). Both soil and water samples after the firework display were found to be contaminated with perchlorate. Average perchlorate in soil ranges from below detectable limits to 20451.14 ppb and in water from below detectable limits to 7.23 ppb. Perchlorate in soil was found to be maximum on the third day after the fireworks display. The present study gives an awareness of the perchlorate contamination resulting from the fireworks display in Kerala.

Testing of Safe, Barium Free Mixture for Green Flare

The pollution caused due to the fire work is becoming one of the major problems in both environmental safety and human health. The greenhouse gases released during the burning of crackers causes global warming and eventually increase the temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere. The pollutants from burning the crackers cause health hazard in human being. The particulate matters in the dust such as PM2.5 and PM10 are easily inhaled by the human beings and affect the human health. So a new mixture which has less pollutant, particulate matter as compared with the existing mixture is formed with the help of Boron Carbide as fuel and Potassium Nitrate as the oxidizer. The newly formed mixture is completely Barium free and is much safer to handle than the Barium nitrate. The Boron carbide is implemented in the smoke flare and was found to have the performance as same as the existing composition. So the alternative for the Barium nitrate is proposed and various tests are done for the new mixture.

Із реформою децентралізації, актуальності набула проблема ефективної діяльності органів місцевого самоврядування в організації безпеки життєдіяльності територіальних громад. В статті проведений детальний аналіз ефективності діяльності органів місцевого самоврядування з організації безпеки життєдіяльності територіальних громад на основі економетричного моделювання. Розраховано і подано динаміку: кількості підрозділів пожежної охорони Львівщини, кількості пожежних-рятувальників Львівщини, кількості надзвичайних подій на Львівщині, кількості пожеж та виявлення вибухонебезпечних предметів на Львівщині, кількості загиблих у наслідок надзвичайних ситуацій, пожеж та небезпечних подій на Львівщині, кількості травмованих унаслідок надзвичайних ситуацій, пожеж та небезпечних подій на Львівщині, кількості виїздів підрозділів пожежної охорони Львівщини, інформаційної роботи пожежно-рятувальних служб Львівщини у засобах масової інформації, фінансування, матеріально-технічне забезпечення та суми накладених штрафів пожежно-рятувальними службами Львівщини.
 Моделювання динаміки процесу та ефективності діяльності органів місцевого самоврядування з організації безпеки життєдіяльності територіальних громад Львівської області здійснено на основі обчислень, виконаних за допомогою програмного продукту Statistica.
 Аналіз річних статистичних даних щодо пожеж і небезпечних подій у Львівській області за 1991–2017 рр. за допомогою покрокової регресії методу найменших квадратів дав змогу визначити найбільш впливові чинники для побудови багатофакторної регресійної моделі запобігання надзвичайним ситуаціям. Факторна модель підтвердила необхідність збільшення особового складу місцевих або добровільних пожежно-рятувальних підрозділів регіону. А також, на нашу думку, доцільно заохочувати забезпечення пожежної безпеки інженерно-технічних працівників до складу добровільних пожежних дружин, використавши позитивний досвід інших країн.

Are Environmentally Friendly Fireworks Really “Green” for Air Quality? A Study from the 2019 National Day Fireworks Display in Shenzhen

Fireworks are widely used around the world and can cause severe air pollution over a short period of time. Many efforts have been carried out worldwide to reduce the level of firework-generated air pollution, such as limiting the use of fireworks and developing environmentally friendly fireworks. Research has suggested that the use of environmentally friendly charges in fireworks can reduce emissions, although their impact on ambient air quality has not been quantified. Here, we used a chemical transport model to study the benefits of environmentally friendly fireworks in reducing ambient PM2.5 based on a detailed estimation of emissions from fireworks and dense observations available for simulation validation. Our results showed that environmentally friendly fireworks can reduce ambient PM2.5 by ∼50% (in the range of 15-65% with a "central" value of 35% considering uncertainties) compared with traditional fireworks. However, due to a large number of fireworks used, the air quality still significantly deteriorated, and the effect of using twice the amount of environmentally friendly fireworks on air quality would be comparable to the use of traditional fireworks. Our results indicate that environmentally friendly fireworks are not actually "green". To make them green, the total number of fireworks used at one time must be strictly restricted.

Intelligent hybrid technique for cascaded multilevel inverter based three phase grid-tie hybrid power system: a WPSNN technique

This dissertation introduces an intelligent hybrid technique for the design of modelling and controller of the three-phase hybrid network connection system based on CMI. The hybrid technique is the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) assisted by Wolf Pack Search (WPS) and therefore it is known as WPSNN technique. Here, the three stage CMI control scheme is considered as two stages and these are analyzed with the help of the proposed intelligent controller. In first stage, the WPS is developed to demonstrating the PV total and wind voltages and the WPS algorithm of the second stage assisted to RNN is used to extracting the reference currents of network. In first stage, input of WPS algorithm is PV and wind reference voltages and the gain parameters is generated as the output for optimal tuning of PI controller. In the second phase, the RNN is trained with on line process; the output of RNN is given to the WPS algorithm. It provides the corresponding tuning parameters to achieve the network current. To regulate the dc link voltage and the extraction of network current is developed with established technique. CMI based on the established technique is synchronizes the firing work relationship and reduces the modulation load. By then, the established technique is evaluated in MATLAB/Simulink working stage and the execution is assessed to existing techniques.

АНАЛИЗ КОНСТРУКЦИЙ И РАБОЧИХ ПРОЦЕССОВ ТЕХНИЧЕСКИХ СРЕДСТВ ДЛЯ ПРОФИЛАКТИКИ И ТУШЕНИЯ ЛЕСНЫХ ПОЖАРОВ ГРУНТОМ

The analysis of designs of domestic and foreign ground-throwing machines and conducted research on extinguishing a forest grass-roots fire by throwing soil. It is established that for carrying out high-quality preventive and forest fire works, it is advisable to use technical means that combine active and passive working bodies in their design. This will allow combining the process of pre-treatment of soil and further release of loosened soil in a given direction, as well as significantly increase the efficiency of the technological process of creating mineralized strips. Based on the mathematical model, the working surfaces of the soil-laying machine are represented as a set of elementary triangles with vertex coordinates and the nature of soil movement is studied. The main part of the flying soil (about 70 %) settles in the band from 1.5 to 3.0 m from the border of the machine. However, part of the ground gets a high initial velocity and such an angle of release that it reaches a distance of 20 to 40 m. To study the movement of the elements of the ground-thrower, equations of motion of the mechanical system in the form of Lagrange equations of the second kind are compiled. It was found that when the values of the depth of the casing-Ripper are from 0.25 to 0.3 m, the best indicators of the range of soil discharge and productivity are observed (20 m and 0.07 m3 / s, respectively), and the power consumption is in the permissible range (17 kW). It is concluded that the ground-throwing equipment should be considered only as part of a combined machine that will allow you to remove the forest floor from the path of the unit, preventing its release into the fire zone, and protecting the working bodies of the unit from the root system of trees. The highly efficient design of the unit with technical solutions is proposed, which allows performing work on stopping and localizing fire.

АНАЛИЗ РАБОЧИХ ПРОЦЕССОВ РОТОРОВ-МЕТАТЕЛЕЙ ЛЕСОПОЖАРНЫХ ГРУНТОМЕТОВ-ПОЛОСОПРОКЛАДЫВАТЕЛЕЙ

The main requirements for carrying out preventive and forest fire works are revealed. It is established that the main drawback of the used soil-sweeping machines is the small amount of soil supplied, its distribution over a large area by a small layer. This is ineffective when extinguishing a fire. Also a disadvantage is the low performance due to the low speed of the machine (up to 2 km / h). The main ways to improve the efficiency of working processes of forest fire engines and tools are considered. The working processes of new designs of soil-sweeping machines with preliminary preparation of the soil shaft before the thrower cutters are considered. Milling of the fed soil is excluded from the working process of the blade of the thrower cutter. This function is performed by spherical disks mounted on the front. In addition, the disks form a soil shaft for subsequent throwing by the rotor. But this innovation did not improve performance. Fire extinguishing is ineffective due to the strong dispersion of the soil in a thin layer, as well as the loss of volume of the ejected soil when dust is formed. The proposed method of extinguishing a low-level fire involves the formation of a shaft of loosened soil above the ground and throwing it into the fire zone. In the process, a layer of soil is cut off, then raised and divided into separate layers. At the same time, moving soil layers have different trajectories and different speeds when entering the zone of fire movement. At the same time, it is covered with a certain layer of soil, which is necessary for extinguishing a ground forest fire at a high speed.(patent no. 2706040).

Study on Gas Diffusion in Fire Working Areas of Oil and Gas Pipelines Based on Temperature Difference.

When a pipeline is under fire safety work construction, the stack effect of the pipeline will increase the diffusion rate of nitrogen, reduce the oxygen content, and cause asphyxia. To prove the influence of the stack effect of the pipeline on the nitrogen movement in the pipeline and put forward effective ventilation control measures, the formation mechanism, gas diffusion law, and ventilation parameters of the stack effect of the oil and gas pipelines are studied through theoretical derivation and numerical simulation. The results show that the nitrogen concentration at the height of the breathing zone in the hot zone first increases and then decreases along the axial distance. The larger the temperature difference, the faster the diffusion speed of nitrogen in the fire safety work area, and the lower the oxygen concentration. When the temperature difference increases to 30 °C, the maximum oxygen concentration in the work area is 0.177; to control the problem of low oxygen content caused by the stack effect, three ventilation schemes are put forward. Through the analysis that installing fans symmetrically on both sides, 4 m away from the pipe opening, can effectively reduce the stack effect intensity when the optimal working wind speed of the fan is 4 m/s. The findings of this study can help in better understanding the causes of the chimney effect during pipeline fire safety work and provide theoretical basis for controlling personnel suffocation caused by the chimney effect.
