Legal knowledge in the system of higher education of non-legal specialties

The article is devoted to the place and role of legal knowledge in the system of higher education of non-legal specialties. The erroneous belief that legal knowledge is needed only to professional lawyers has been disproved. Given the needs of the rule of law in Ukraine, this knowledge is both valuable and necessary to all citizens. Knowledge of law has special importance for people with higher (including non-legal) education since they are aimed at building Ukrainian statehood – its politics, economy, industry, education, culture and others. Therefore, the study of legal disciplines in higher education institutions is of extreme importance.
 The interrelation between the concepts of legal education and juridical education is analysed. Juridical education is characterized as professional training of future judges, prosecutors, lawyers and other legislators. On the other hand, legal education is the acquisition of knowledge about state and legal phenomena by all members of society. The legal framework for legal education, its advantages and disadvantages are studied. The need for legal skills and competencies in accordance with the approved standards of higher education in non-legal specialties is identified. The necessity to develop and adopt a particular law on legal education of the Ukraine’s population is emphasized. The gradation of the capacity of legal knowledge depending on the peculiarities of a concrete non-legal specialty of higher education is offered.
 The experience of the Department of Ukraine’s Law Fundamentals, Faculty of Law, Ivan Franko National University of Lviv in teaching law disciplines at non-legal faculties is summarized. Didactic methods in this direction should consist of accessible and concise but, at the same time, complete and informative provision of legal knowledge, training of skills and abilities, their mastering and testing. Accordingly, there is a need to develop and publish separate textbooks, manuals, workshops, work programs and other materials on law issues for students of non-legal specialties. The expediency of functioning in the structure of the classical university of a specialized unit (department), which provides legal knowledge to students of non-legal specialties, is substantiated.

Modelling the Influencing Factors on Mobile Learning Tools

In this study, the authors concerned about influencing factors on mobile learning tools for the applicable and sustainable mobile learning environment. The authors proposed an impact model with five influencing factors namely usefulness, interactivity, motivation, facilitating conditions, and ease of use. The 60 students and 60 teachers in different learning and teaching disciplines in higher education institutions were involved in this study to evaluate the model. Initially, they were asked to fill the pre-usage questionnaire with their initial mobile learning experience. Then, they were allowed to use mobile learning tools in the Moodle Mobile app and allowed to fill the post-usage questionnaire. The results reveal that the most significant influencing factor is the ease of use among others. Hence, the study concluded that ease of use would be the most significant factor to be considered when designing mobile learning tools in the mobile learning environment.

Impact of MOOC on increasing student interest in the learning process in the context of blended learning

The present study aims to substantiate the necessity of using MOOCs in the learning process in higher education institutions, as well as to develop and describe the particular components of a method for using MOOCs in organizing blended learning. The article substantiates the relevance of using MOOCs in the conditions of blended learning and presents various approaches to the definition of MOOC and blended learning. The results of comparative analysis of world MOOC platforms, a model for the integration of a MOOC into the structure of an academic discipline, and the results of an empirical study of engaging students in the use of MOOCs in the conditions of blended learning are presented. MOOCs can be used at different stages of studying academic disciplines in higher education institutions: in laboratory classes or individual assignments, in the process of students’ independent work, their preparation for mid-term and final tests. The study concludes that MOOCs are advisable for use in the educational process and it is important to engage students to take them.

Specifics Of Teaching The Academic Discipline «Methods Of Teaching Socio-Political Disciplines In Higher Education Institutions»

The article analyzes the specifics of teaching the academic discipline «Methods of teaching socio-political disciplines in higher education institutions» at the second (master's) level of higher education in the specialty 052 «Political Science». The research proved that the future lecturer of socio-political disciplines must master the professional competences of teaching in higher education, the methodology of preparation and conducting of educational classes taking into account the achievements of pedagogical and psychological science, the requirements of didactics and own scientific interests in the context of the chosen profession. The key role in teaching the discipline plays the identification of regularities in the organization of the study of socio-political disciplines, as well as the connection of the educational material with the political practice of today, since it is an important and essential factor in consolidating and systematizing the knowledge of a future political scientist. The research substantiated that in order to improve the quality of teaching socio-political disciplines and develop competence among political science master degree students, it is necessary to apply professionally oriented teaching methods in situations close to the professional reality, as well as to practice the use of innovative active and interactive teaching methods based on the combinatorial approach. The research analyzed the peculiarities of conducting lectures and practical classes: all tasks on various topics are correlated with the previously completed assignments and complement them; most tasks are performed in small groups; the tasks assume a mandatory presentation of the results of the researched issues using a creative approach.

The article is devoted to the problem of using works of fiction in the process of teaching humanitarian disciplines in higher educational institutions, philosophy in particular. The thesis is substantiated that active involving works of classical and modern literature in the pedagogical process in higher education will significantly enrich and expand the teacher's toolkit. The methodology developed by the authors will make it possible to make classes in philosophy and other humanities disciplines more interesting and entertaining, will contribute to the formation of students' personality, developing their creative skills thinking.

The article describes the specifics of using the visual modeling method and outlines an innovative approach to the implementation of the principle of visualization in teaching economic and mathematical disciplines in higher education institutions. The possibilities of using information technologies in teaching economic and mathematical disciplines that contribute to the development of interest in learning and the formation of visual thinking are illustrated.

Introduction of innovative technologies in the study of music disciplines in higher educational institutions of Ukraine

The problem of modernization of the modern educational system in Ukraine, updating the content and organizational forms of teaching and education, techniques and methods of pedagogical work in higher education encourages the search for new methods and tools of teaching and learning, introduction of innovative technologies, including information and communication. The study considers the application of multimedia technologies, interactive learning and coaching technologies in the study of music-theoretical and music-historical disciplines ("Music Theory", "Solfeggio", "Harmony", "Polyphony", "Analysis of Musical Works", "History of World Music" and "History of Ukrainian Music"), which constitute the fundamental basis of musical training of future professionals, the development of their musicological competencies of various types and content, as well as in mastering the disciplines ("Piano as the Major Instrument", "Choral Conducting", "Choral Class"), which develop special competencies.

Methods of Formation of Digital Competence of Future Teachers of Art Disciplines in Higher Education Institutions of China

With the introduction of digital educational technologies, the learning process is changing. Digital technologies are not only a tool, but also a living environment for modern learners, which opens up new opportunities: learning at any convenient time, continuing education, the ability to form individual educational routes for students. However, such an environment requires teachers to take a different approach to the organization of the educational process, to acquire new skills and abilities for work, in particular the formation of their digital competence in the digital educational space. In these conditions, the system of pedagogical education should provide training for future teachers of art disciplines, which has a high level of digital competence. The purpose of the article is to reveal the essence of the concept of «digital competence» on the basis of the analysis of scientific literature and to determine the methods of formation of future art disciplines teachers’ digital competence in higher education institutions of China. To achieve the goal of the study, the following research methods were used: analysis of scientific literature, observation, systems analysis, comparative analysis, modeling method, classification method; methods of comparative analysis and analogy, design method; methods of systematization, generalization, logical analysis, analysis of personal experience of teaching and learning, comparison and interpretation of the obtained data. The results of the study show that the digital competence of future teachers of art disciplines consists of four components: motivational-personal (internal and external motives for their future professional activity), cognitive (a set of theoretical knowledge, skills and abilities of future teachers to effectively organize the educational process using digital teaching aids), activity (practical implementation of professional and pedagogical knowledge of a future teacher, his intellectual, cognitive, technical, design and technological skills, necessary skills for effective implementation of digital technologies in the educational process) and reflection-evaluation (ability to analyze and self-analyze, coordination of goals, methods and results, awareness of their style of activity, readiness for their creative change). Conclusions. These components of digital competence of future teachers of art disciplines should be formed taking into account the specifics of professional activity and appropriate methods.

Теоретико-методичні аспекти професійної підготовки педагога-музиканта у закладах вищої освіти

The article considers the main aspects of professional and pedagogical training of a teacher of music disciplines in higher education institutions and reveals its educational functions in the artistic and pedagogical process. The specifics of the professional activity of a music teacher are outlined, the approaches of scientists to the condition and ways to improve it are presented. The connection between the theoretical and practical training of a music teacher and the real specifics of future pedagogical activity is established. The scientific directions, focused mainly on the specifics of musical activity, providing improvement of preparation of teachers of musical art for work in general education system are investigated. Identified the methodological approaches. Emphasized the importance of musical and pedagogical knowledge of a music teacher, the interdependence of his theoretical training and performance practice. Scientific sources are analyzed, where the methodological aspect in the system of training future art specialists is considered. Revealed the necessity of forming and further improvement of artistic, pedagogical and performing training students as the essence of pedagogical skill of the future teacher of musical disciplines.

International Student Competition on Font and Calligraphy Pangram: Origins, Development, Prospects

The article analyzes the experience of holding the Pangram International Student Competition on Font and Calligraphy in the context of the phenomenon of festivals and competitions that popularize the art of type in the cultural space of Ukraine and the world. The purpose of the article is a retrospective review of the five year existence of the competition, its statistical analysis, results and prospects. This study was carried out in the framework of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of KSADA. Its idea is related to the determination of one of the directions of the Academy’s development in the future. The field of international creative competitions is diverse and constantly evolving. The most famous professional type design competitions are Morisawa Type Design Competition, TDC Typeface Design Competition, GRANSHAN Type Design Competition, where designers present their latest developments in type design. The article dwells on the problem of the implementation of creative ideas of art university students through participation in competitions, creative actions, festivals. It was noted that the practice of announcing such competitions is an example of encouraging young people to be creative, and it is an opportunity to find talented labor potential for organizations. The author examines the features of the main type festivals held in Ukraine in different years, namely: Cyrillic Holiday, Ruthenia, Space of Letters. The state of the research of the problem is analyzed. The author emphasizes that the phenomenon of creative actions, festivals and competitions is insufficiently studied in scientific terms. Although they are widely highlighted by local and regional Internet media as significant events, which demonstrates the interest of society. Special attention is payed to the background, development and transformation of the Pangram competition. The main idea of the competition is to give the opportunity to demonstrate the font ideas of students of art higher education institutions from different countries. The competition also promotes the exchange of experience of font schools in Ukraine and other countries, popularizes the role of calligraphy, type and typography disciplines in higher education institutions. The author highlights such conditions and mechanisms of the competition as topics, nominations and categories, event format, the jury and evaluation criteria, partners, and awards. It was noted that the selected remote format proved to be successful in the global pandemic. At the present stage of the development of the art of font and calligraphy in general and in Ukraine in particular, the student competition is a progressive phenomenon of bringing teaching methods beyond the walls of higher education institutions. The present study is important for understanding the trends in modern type design and calligraphy in terms of the formation of Ukrainian identity and the design culture in general.

Verbal Texts of Composers as a Prerequisite For Musicological Research of the Style Phenomenon of “New Simplicity”

The aim of the article is to determine the theoretical value of verbal composer’s texts for musical research of the style phenomenon of “new simplicity” as an actual direction of composer’s practice at the turn of the XX–XXI centuries.
 The research methodology lies in the complex use of the musical-historical and cultural approach to the musical art of our time and individual composer’s styles, the systemic, structural-functional method and comparative studies in the study of verbal composer’s texts.
 Results. The main place of development of the composer’s reflections on the ideological-philo-sophical, artistic-aesthetic and linguistic-stylistic features of the “new simplicity” is the space of chamber communication (numerous interviews and conversations that exist both orally and in writing), which captures immediacy of the author’s statement and preserves its vivid intonation. Exceptional cases of the existence of the author’s voice in “large form” are represented by the verbal work of V. Martynov — the author of famous studies of modern music, which were understood as conceptual principles of composition in modern music culture in a broad semantic context that arises at the intersection of musicology, sociology and philosophy. In each of these areas of composer’s verbal self-representation we can find thoughts and concepts that are directly related to the phenomenon of “new simplicity”, the meaning of which is built as a result of deep personal understanding of the essence of musical art by each composer.
 Scientific novelty refers to the theoretical development of the style concept of “new simplicity” on the material of verbal composer’s discourse as a premise of musicological research.
 The practical significance lies in the use of research materials in special courses in musical-historical and musical-theoretical disciplines in higher educational institutions, as well as in musical performing practice.

Defining the role of the educational program in the educational and methodological support of the study of disciplines in higher education institutions (Review)

At the moment, the creation of methodological support for academic disciplines is an urgent problem of organizing the educational process in higher education institutions. As you know, the methodological support for the study of an academic discipline consists of four independent methodological documents: the program of the academic discipline, the working program of the academic discipline, the syllabus and the electronic educational and methodological complex of the discipline. The purpose of the study is a comparative analysis of these documents to determine their role in the organization of the educational process. The program of the academic discipline is the main normative document that determines the place and significance of the discipline in the implementation of the educational and professional training of the student, its content, the amount of knowledge, skills and abilities determined by the relevant competencies, as well as the sequence and organizational forms of studying the academic discipline. It is developed by one of the highly educated teachers of the department, discussed at a meeting of the department and approved by it, after which it becomes a working methodological document of the department. Based on a comparative analysis of the structure and content of the program, work program, syllabus and educational-methodological complex of the discipline, which are the main components of educational and methodological support for the study of the discipline, it has been established that all components of the work program in one form or another are repeated in the syllabus and educational-methodological complex discipline. At the same time, in contrast to the work program of the discipline, in the last two methodological components, these components have a large semantic content that is necessary in the educational work of students. In addition, the information contained in the syllabus and the educational-methodical complex of the discipline, the student can use at any time, since these documents are contained in electronic form on the websites of libraries of higher educational institutions and departments, which own the discipline, and the work program of the discipline is stored in paper form at the department and students' access to it is limited. The conducted comparative analysis leads to the conclusion that the work program of the academic discipline is not a necessary link in the methodological support of the discipline study.

Training teachers of mathematics under the conditions of introduction of the professional standard

This article belongs to the field of methodological science that analyzes the interaction of school mathematics with the teaching of mathematical disciplines in higher educational institutions, in particular, to students of pedagogical directions. The article presents two extreme points of view on modern education. The first of them perceives education as a kind of value, completely ignoring the relevance of this or that educational program. The second focuses exclusively on the market conditions of the educational program, perceiving an educational institution as an enterprise in the service sector. The authors of the article criticize both extremes, considering the educational process as a phenomenon that combines the features of both value and market phenomena. Further, in the presented work, an attempt is made to answer the question, is knowledge of only the school curriculum of mathematics sufficient for high-quality professional activity in school as a teacher? The authors of the article unequivocally answer this question - no, not enough. A number of examples are given when the knowledge of university special mathematical disciplines not only contributes to a more perfect knowledge of the taught subject in the future teacher, but is also fundamentally necessary for the formation of specific skills and abilities of the future teacher of mathematics. As examples, such mathematical sections as complex numbers, the theory of limits, the construction of counterexamples, projective geometry, etc. The work also provides links to the professional standard of a pedagogue, adopted in 2019.

Методика навчання мовознавчих дисциплін у закладах вищої освіти як наука й навчальна дисципліна

In the article, the aim and tasks are defined, methodological framework for updating the content of methodology for teaching linguistic disciplines in higher education institutions according to the requirements of regulatory and legislative documents on language education, achievements in philosophy, psychology, pedagogy, linguistics and linguodidactics are determined. The ways of developing professional competences of future masters in philology provided by Higher Education Standard, namely, the ability for teaching linguistic disciplines in higher education institutions at a professional level; awareness of the role of expressive, emotional and logical instruments of a language to attain the target result; the ability create, edit, abstract and systemize texts of all types are substantiated. The general competences of future masters in philology, notably the ability to communicate in the national language both orally and in written form; the aptitude to be critical and self-critical; the skills to search, process and analyze the information from various sources; the capability to define, state and address the issue; the aptitude to work in teams and autonomously; the capability to abstract thinking, analysis and synthesis; information and communication technology skills; the ability to adapt to a new situation and act therein; the capability to communicate with representatives of other professional groups and levels (with experts from other areas of knowledge and types of economic activities; and the ability to generate new ideas (creativity) are considered. The subject of methodology for teaching linguistic disciplines in higher education institutions is the formation of professional competences of future masters in philology; the object is modern approaches, principles of teaching linguistic disciplines, forms of organization of the education process, methods, techniques, instruments and traditional and innovative technologies for training future masters in philology.

FORMS OF MANIFESTATION OF INTERPERSONAL IDENTITY CONFLICTS WITH DIFFERENT CONTROL LOCUS IN CERTAIN AGE PERIODS

The article is devoted to the investigation of the forms of manifestation of interpersonal identity conflicts with different control locus in certain age periods. Forms of manifestation and their solving methods in adolescence and preadult age are different. It is a period of physiological and mental development in adolescence, it characterized by puberty crisis, which refers to the person's qualitative alteration of the general development. Personality of boys and girls is characterized by pubescence, when increased irritation is changing by emotional self-control, they consciously build their communication ways, continue improvement of significant qualities. At that time, increasing tenseness in society, forming a person's worldview, its new social status leads to conflicts,their solution is due to the choosing ability of the right style of behavior in a conflict situation, to analyze the other people style and adapt to a new social environment. A person as a social individual, embodies the most significant social qualities, which determine behavior. A persistent feature, which is forming in the socialization process, is the control locus that allows to explain responsibility for the action's results in different ways. The investigation's attention is focused on such styles of behavior in manifestation conflicts as: rivalry, compromise, adaptation, collaboration, avoidance. According to the results of the investigation, it was determined that the compromise style is more pronounced in preadult age and the preoccupation style is adolescent. There was no statistically significant interconnection between the locus control and conflict behavioral styles. Distinctions of behavior style in the conflict in adolescence and preadult age, which are not due to personal characteristics, were identified. The investigation results would be taken into account in the pedagogical process of secondary schools and in teaching disciplines in higher education institutions.

The article is primarily aimed at considering the essence and significance of innovative methods of teaching economic disciplines in higher education institutions, their use in professional activities with students during educational work. The article considers innovative methods of learning in the teaching of economic disciplines used in the system of modern educational process in higher education institutions of Ukraine. The peculiarities of forms and methods of innovative learning are defined, the specifics of their use during classes with students in economic disciplines are covered. The author specifies application of such methods, forms and methods of educational work as: audiovisual method of training; analysis of errors, collisions, incidents; discussion with the invitation of specialists; brainstorming; «decision tree»; business (role-playing) game (students try the role of a teacher in economics, an accountant, auditor, a broker, manager, etc.); «take a position»; Socratic dialogue; interview method; public speaking; commenting, evaluating (or self-evaluating) of the participants’ actions; training ground; method of analysis and diagnosis of the situation; method of cooperative learning; problematic methods; partially search methods; research methods; method of projects; modeling; trainings; the program-role method of generating ideas; work in small groups; «competence» game; simulation games; PRES formula, etc. The essence of the case method, its principles, structure, features, influence on the formation of qualitative characteristics of the future specialist in economics is covered. It is emphasized the use of new technologies in learning, such as multimedia, computers, etc. and the combination of innovative methods with classical, traditional ones.

Features of Teaching Analytical and Accounting Disciplines in Higher Education Institutions

The article describes the main features of curricula of accounting and analytical orientation and aspects of teaching accounting and analytical disciplines: lectures and practical classes using multimedia technologies, applications for accounting and financial analysis, the organization of distance learning, which requires access to modern software products. also contains specific suggestions for improving the perception of accounting disciplines.
