In the early days, man sought to create new technologies to reduce the effort of activities essential to his existence, and much of this search took place through the use of new energy sources. The research is extremely relevant, opinions differ, although some see the legal framework of distributed generation as a new step towards enabling the growth of the Brazilian solar industry. In the case of a constitutional right, the right to a properly balanced environment. In view of this, Absolar estimates that the country’s own energy generation totals 9 gigawatts. In this way, the question arises: Legal framework for own energy generation: what changes for the consumer? The general objective of the research was to understand the legal framework of own energy generation and what changes for the consumer.
