Warehouse Management Information System Technology Review

With the rapid development of information technology, warehouse management information systems are playing an increasingly important role in modern logistics management. This paper first elaborates on the importance of warehouse management information systems and the impact of technological development on warehouse management, and then reviews the development process of warehouse management information systems. Next, it focuses on introducing the application of key technologies such as barcode technology, RFID technology, UWB high-precision positioning technology, wireless network communication technology, cloud computing technology, and big data analysis technology in warehouse management. In addition, this paper also analyzes the current problems faced by warehouse management information systems and discusses the application prospects of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, blockchain, automation, and robotics in warehouse management. Finally, it summarizes the main findings of the review and proposes insights and suggestions for the development of warehouse management information systems and future research directions.

Development and Evaluation of Drug Management Information System in Mijen Community Health Center Demak

Background: Drug management information systems can serve as tools for decision-making. The effectiveness of such a system can be assessed through evaluation. One of the evaluation methods used is the PIECES method.Objectives: This research aims to evaluate and develop a drug management information system using the PIECES method.Methods: The research conducted was a qualitative descriptive study with inductive analysis. Sampling for this research was conducted purposive sampling. System development in this study utilized the prototype method, with interviews conducted for Management Information System (MIS) evaluation using the PIECES Framework. The design of the MIS system was created using Data Flow Diagrams and Entity Relationship Diagrams. The designed MIS system development was evaluated using the same method. Data processing in qualitative research consists of valid, clear, and accountable word descriptions, sentences, or narratives provided by the researchers, followed by data validation using triangulation techniques and Nvivo 12 Plus software.Results: Evaluation results using the PIECES Framework indicate that the implemented MIS system benefits and aids staff performance in daily drug dispensing. However, there are still manual tasks and lacking features such as distribution, drug expiration warnings, and minimum stock on the dashboard. The proposed design for MIS system development includes several features such as stock in, stock out, and distribution, complemented with drug expiration warnings, minimum stock alerts on the dashboard, and reports for each feature.Conclusion: Implementing the proposed MIS system design can assist and streamline work processes by providing comprehensive information, thus serving as a decision-making tool.

Analysis Of The Application Of Electronic Medical Record In RUMKITAL Dr. Mintohardjo With The Measures Of Effectiveness Method

The phenomenon of the industrial revolution 4.0 accompanied by the rapid development of information technology has had a positive impact on the development of hospital management information systems. Currently, manual medical records are deemed no longer effective in relation to the community's need for quality, fast, precise, accurate and complete health services. Electronic Medical Record enables service providers to track patient data more quickly, identify visits, prevent and screen, help diagnose and manage disease so as to improve the quality of health services. This research was conducted to measure the effectiveness of the application of the Electronic Medical Record in Rumkital Dr. Mintohardjo by measuring the data input component, data integration and data security is assessed from the Usability, Flexibility and Efficiency of each component. Data collection was obtained from interviews and questionnaires from informants and respondents, namely officials and health workers at Dr. Rumkital. Mintohardjo regarding the application of Electronic Medical Records. The data obtained were then processed using the Measures of Effectiveness (MoE) method to measure the effectiveness of the application of the Electronic Medical Record. The hypothesis of this research is that the more effective the application of the Electronic Medical Record, the higher the quality of health services at Dr. Hospital. Mintohardjo and proven through data processing using the Measures of Effectiveness method. This study found the results that the effectiveness of the application of the Electronic Medical Record in Rumkital Dr. Mintohardjo has an MoE value of 0.676, it is included in the effective category.

Mitigating land fire disasters: Implementation of agricultural land fire risk management information system in Aunupe Village, South Konawe Regency

Climate change, which causes increased temperatures, prolonged droughts, and dry conditions, heightens the risk of land fires. A similar scenario unfolded in Aunupe Village, where several fires occurred on agricultural land over the past three years, resulting in crop failure and degraded soil quality, leading to financial losses for land-owning farmers. To mitigate the risk of land fire disasters, an agricultural land fire disaster risk management information system is necessary in Aunupe Village, South Konawe Regency. The objective of this community-based empowerment program is to mitigate the risk of land fire disasters. To achieve the desired outcomes, initial coordination with farmer group partners is conducted, followed by the design and installation of fire sensor equipment sets in collaboration with farmer groups. Furthermore, focus group discussions (FGD) are conducted with farmer group partners to ensure their understanding and cooperation. The activities result in the development of an agricultural land fire risk management information system, facilitating the prompt detection, monitoring, and response to fire incidents in the agricultural land of the Lembah Harapan Farmers Group. Additionally, farmer group partners acquire knowledge regarding the utilization of fire mitigation systems.

Management Information Systems for Tree Fruit—1: A Review

A farm management information system (MIS) entails record keeping based on a database management system, typically using a client-server architecture, i.e., an information system, IS, coupled with a variety of tools/methods/models for the support of operational management. The current review adopts a multivocal approach to consider academic and commercial developments in MISs for orchard management, based primarily on the refereed literature but extending to grey literature and interviews of Australian mango orchard managers. Drivers for orchard MIS development include increasing the orchard size and management complexity, including regulatory requirements around labour, chemical spray use and fertilisation. The enablers include improvements in within-orchard communications, distributed (web) delivery systems using desktop and mobile devices, and sensor systems and predictive models, e.g., for pest management. Most orchard MIS-related publications target the commodities of apple, grape, mango and olive in the context of management of plant health (pest and disease), plant development, irrigation and labour management. Harvest forecast and MIS modules are only now beginning to emerge, in contrast to a long history of use in grain production. The commercial systems trend towards an incorporation of financial information, an integration of data from multiple sources and a provision of dashboards that are tailored to the user. Requirements for industry adoption of a MIS are discussed in terms of technical and design features, with a focus on usability and scalability.

Design and development of a web-based patient management information system

This study aims to develop web-based hospital management software. Several previous studies discovered some lack, such as manual queue calling, limited patient registration, difficult access to medical records, and the absence of reminders. In this study, we developed queue, reservation, medical record, reminder, and medical action modules. We expected that facilities could improve the operational efficiency of hospital services. The research stage starts with problem formulation, literature study, design determination, system development with five main modules, system testing, and the creation of research articles. Some limitations were identified, including responsive design and the expense of API system.

USER-CENTERED DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF A GRADE MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEM OF A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN CAVITE, PHILIPPINES

This paper presents the user-centered design and development of a grade management information system that can be used by a private school in the Philippines to manage the grades of their students with ease. It aimed to determine the information and features that should be included in the system; determine the tools that should be used to develop the system; test the system’s functional suitability, performance efficiency, reliability, security, maintainability, and portability; and evaluate the system in terms of usability. The information and features included in the application were discussed with the administrator and teachers of the school. The application was developed using XAMPP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL. The application was tested and evaluated by information technology and website developers, school administrator, teachers, and students using the adapted ISO 25010 quality model as the evaluation instrument. The results showed that the application is excellent as perceived by the intended users as manifested by the mean rating of 4.69. This implies that the application can be useful to the school administrator and teachers in managing the grade records of their students, and for the students to easily view their grades.

Development of Management Information System Based on Android Application at Al-Anwari High School

This study aims to portray the development of information systems at SMA al-Anwari Bangkalan based on android applications. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The results show that the Development of Management Information System (SIM) Based on Android Application at Al-Anwari High School reflects the progressive transformation in the world of education towards the digital era. This article investigates the needs, benefits, and main functions of this application, as well as discussing system integration, security and privacy aspects, and the importance of training and mentoring. The implementation of this app at Al-Anwari High School brings significant benefits to teachers, students, parents and administrative staff by providing easy, quick and integrated access to academic and school management information. The main functions of the application involve schedule management, attendance recording, academic information, parent-teacher communication, and extracurricular management.

Design and Development of Management Information System on Website-Based Jempol Optical Shop Using the Laravel Framework

The management of inventory data and reports at the Jempol Optical shop is still manual, starting with the input of goods data relating to glasses, frames, lenses, and other optical accessories data. In addition, the preparation of sales reports is also still manual. It takes a system to collect data on optical goods and to prepare sales reports. This study aims to create a software system that can provide solutions with a website-based management information system using Laravel. The method used in this study uses SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), including literature studies to get references related to the system to be made, needs analysis of the Jempol Optical system to determine system requirements, design of the Jempol Optical system, manufacture of the Jempol Optical system, and system testing of Jempol Optics Website used for black box testing and usability testing. The result of the system created is a management information system with 2 actors (admin and employees) which has 18 features. In black box testing, the system can be used smoothly, and all features can be used according to their functions with a percentage of 100% success. The results of usability testing carried out by shop owners and employees of the Jempol Optical shop, the application is good from the results of tests carried out with a result of 4.2 out of a maximum value of 5. From the test results by giving several statements, it can be concluded that the user agrees with the system that has been made.

Development of Computer Laboratory Management Information System at SMKS Pertiwi Batam is an application to support the performance of related institutions. Lack of data collection and the absence of supporting applications and data that is still stored in the form of archives and computers manually. Information systems are designed based on websites using the codeigniter programming language and MySQL database. While the development of the research system uses the waterfall method with the stages of requirements, design, implementation, verification, and maintenance. This information system serves as a means of sharing information about the inventory of computer laboratory equipment, the use of computer laboratories, and schedules regarding the use of computer laboratories. With this information system, the agency will be easier in collecting inventory data, using and scheduling computer laboratories. As well as the need to make monthly reports on computer laboratory data.

Controlling as an enterprise management tool in the digital economy

Purpose. Expansion of the ability to implement an adaptation approach in enterprise management because of the implementation of the new controlling concept (NCC) in a digital economy. Development of the mathematical model of the adaptive approach. Methodology. The study uses general and special methods of cognition: abstract-logical analysis – to determine NCC, its preconditions, new opportunities; inductions and deductions – to establish the importance of adaptation as a NCC component, to harmonize strategic and operational plans; mathematical methods – for presenting an adaptation in structural and logical form; generalization method – for proposing ways of implementing the adaptation; logical abstraction – for development of the scheme of implementation of adaptation approach, and study on the possibility of diversification of the strategy, with the coordination of enterprise sub strategy. Findings. The definition of the new controlling concept is proposed, its preconditions are detailed. Ways of implementing an adaptation approach to managing the enterprise in conditions of dynamic changes are proposed. It is indicated that a new opportunity opened by NCC is the use of diversification of the company’s strategy and the implementation of adaptive coordination of sub strategies in real-time conditions. It is stated that the indicator of development of diversification can be used as an indicator of the adaptation capacity of the enterprise. The requirements for the introduction of NCC and the two main methods for implementing the adaptation approach are specified. Originality. A mathematical model of the adaptive approach for the implementation of NCC has been developed. A mathematized approach has been developed to coordinate sub strategies. A basic block diagram of the realization of the adaptation approach when introducing a new controlling concept has been developed. Practical value. The results of the study can be used by scientists to improve the methods and tools of NCC and by practitioners in the development and implementation of management information systems. The proposed approaches will increase controlling efficiency.

Web-based visual information system is a system consisting of text and graphic images. It is these factors that make these tours interesting and make bookings easy. In addition, the Website-Based Ranoh Island Tourism Management Information System is a system that contains complete information for tourists and can be found at any time. This support cannot be separated from the research process design and technology. This study aims to design a Website-Based Ranoh Island Tourism Management Information System as a source of information for viewing and ordering tourist attractions and other facilities on Ranoh Island. The Website-Based Ranoh Island Tourism Management Information System was developed using the PHP programming language and data stored in a database using MySQL to optimize system and database performance. The Google Maps API is one of the features of this information system that can be used to add maps to websites using JavaScript. The result of the design is a web tourism information system which should be a way to promote tourism in the city of Batam, so that through this web design it is hoped that there will be a similar system to create better services. and more complete than existing services.

Contextualized Knowledge Graph Embedding for Explainable Talent Training Course Recommendation

Learning and development, or L&D, plays an important role in talent management, which aims to improve the knowledge and capabilities of employees through a variety of performance-oriented training activities. Recently, with the rapid development of enterprise management information systems, many research efforts and industrial practices have been devoted to building personalized employee training course recommender systems. Nevertheless, a widespread challenge is how to provide explainable recommendations with the consideration of different learning motivations from talents. To this end, we propose CKGE, a contextualized knowledge graph (KG) embedding approach for developing an explainable training course recommender system. A novel perspective of CKGE is to integrate both the contextualized neighbor semantics and high-order connections as motivation-aware information for learning effective representations of talents and courses. Specifically, in CKGE, for each entity pair (i.e., the talent-course pair), we first construct a meta-graph, including the neighbors of each entity and the meta-paths between entities as motivation-aware information. Then, we develop a novel KG-based Transformer, which can serialize entities and paths in the meta-graph as a sequential input, with the specially designed relational attention and structural encoding mechanisms to better model the global dependence of KG structured data. Meanwhile, the local path mask prediction can effectively reveal the importance of different paths. As a result, CKGE not only can make precise predictions but also can discriminate the saliencies of meta-paths in characterizing corresponding preferences. Extensive experiments on real-world and public datasets clearly validate the effectiveness and interpretability of CKGE compared with state-of-the-art baselines.

It not only integrates the external resources of the enterprise but also improves the vitality of the enterprise itself and the ability to deal with risks. Therefore, this paper analyzes the problems and countermeasures of innovation management in SMEs in China. By using the method of a literature review, this paper expounds the requirements, current situation, and solutions of the innovative management of Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises and finally draws the conclusion that SMEs should innovate organization and ideas, widen financing channels, and enhance the ability of independent innovation.

Development of a Surveilens System as a Means for Collection and Reporting of Infectious Diseases in Puskodono Health Center, Sragen

Surveillance is an important activity in the context of disease data collection. The results of these surveillance activities can also be used as a consideration for making decisions related to disease management, especially infectious diseases. The aim of the research was to develop an information system for surveillance of infectious diseases for data collection and reporting to support management decision making at the Sukodono Health Center, Sragen.This research method is qualitative and quantitative. Prototype model research development. The research population is all parties involved in the development of an Infectious Disease Management Information System at the Sukodono Health Center, Sragen. The subjects of this study were the Head of the Community Health Center, the Head of the Infectious Diseases Program and the four Communicable Diseases Program Holders. the research object is the Communicable Disease Health Center Management Information System. This research method is qualitative and quantitative. Prototype model research development. The subjects of this study were one head of the health center, one head of the infectious disease program and four holders of the infectious disease program. the research object is the Communicable Disease Health Center Management Information System. Data analysis in this study was carried out by means of content analysis for qualitative and descriptive analysis methods for quantitative. The acquisition of the evaluation results from the total average percentage is Accurate at (62.19%), Complete at (83.89%), timeliness (84.44%), and Relevant at (95.20%). Meanwhile, in terms of data accuracy (accuracy) and completeness of content or data availability (content), information system users are very satisfied, as indicated by the results of the total average percentage of both 80.36 and 99.36% indicating that the user is very confident in the completeness and correctness of the examination data that has been inputted into the information system by paramedics. The results of the evaluation of the information system as a whole are 81.43%, meaning that the Information System for Surveillance of Communicable Diseases can be received and used by users of the information system very well

This research has the background that the investment risk of Bank Syariah Indonesia is a risk that is absolutely faced by Islamic banking where investment risk occurs because the bank also bears the losses of customers who are financed in profit-sharing based financing. This research aims to determine whether there are differences in the risk management of Hajj investment funds at Indonesian Sharia Banks and other Islamic financial institutions. This type of research is qualitative research. The method used is a case study. The population used is Bank Syariah Indonesia, the Tulungagung Sudirman Sub-Branch Office, which has been operating since 1 February 2021 as Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) because there are merger of three Islamic State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Islamic banks. Based on the results of research on the application of hajj fund investment risk management at BSI KCP Tulungagung Sudirman is by synchronizing or adjusting tools, methodologies, policies and standard procedures covering governance and risk management aspects of hajj fund investment used by central BSI and BSI KCP Tulungagung Sudirman, as well as Development of a risk management information system for investment in Hajj funds by taking into account the needs and availability of supporting infrastructure.

Digital transformation of quality management of educational business processes

Problem statement. Educational institutions are actively moving towards digitalization processes. These processes have to be implemented not from scratch, but taking into account the databases, information systems and technologies already applied at the informatization stage and used. Therefore, issues related to the concept of digital transformation of educational organizations become relevant. The study aimed to present the general principles and approaches to the implementation of the digital transformation of educational business processes, formed on the basis of studying domestic and foreign experience, as well as on the basis of the author's experience of participating in the informatization and digitalization of educational institutions in Russia and Kazakhstan. Methodology. The methods for systematizing the approaches of domestic and foreign researchers to the definition of the concept of digital transformation, problems, experience and prospects for the digitalization of educational organizations, methods of mathematical and computer modeling, methods of development of information management systems, methods of quality management system were used. Results. The experience and principles of continuous digital transformation of the quality management of educational business processes at the Siberian State University of Geosystems and Technologies are presented. The distinctive features of digital transformation are described: documentation support for educational programs, publishing process, intermediate certification, digital footprint formation, teaching workload management for teachers, classroom fund, system of local regulations, executive discipline of employees (“Executor Calendar”). As a result of the digital transformation of the quality management of educational business processes, an increase in target indicators and an increase in the efficiency of educational processes were noted. Conclusion. Digital transformation should develop the positive results of the informatization stage. Using the principles of the process approach, standardization and documentation of processes within the quality management system simplifies the setting of the goal and objectives of digital transformation. The principles of ensuring demand and process control allow us to consider the digital transformation of process quality management as an indicative feedback control system. The tasks of digital transformation should include: continuous improvement of the activities of an educational organization, optimization of procedures for achieving its target indicators, prevention of various inconsistencies. Digitalization processes must be continuous, taking into account the constantly changing external and internal challenges and expectations of the education system and society.
