The Influence of Tourists’ Brand Sensory Impression on the Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Tourism

Tourists’ good brand sensory image for Traditional Chinese Medicine health tourism (TCMHT) can improve the brand building of tourism destinations. This paper takes some tourists who enter the scenic spots of integrated TCMHT as the research object to investigate the sensory perception of the brand of the TCMHT destination of this group, aiming to further analyze the matching degree between the existing brand building of TCMHT destination and Tourists’ Brand Sensory Impression (TBSI). This paper uses Matlab software to carry out a visual word cloud analysis on the TCMHT keywords that tourists pay more attention to. Based on the word cloud data, the binary Logistic regression model is constructed by using Python and SPSS software, and the influencing factors of TBSI’s selection of TCM are analyzed from six dimensions. The results show that the richness of natural landscape, the quantity and type of cultural resources, ecological environment, professional service ability, healthy diet and supporting facilities, and market position have a significant positive impact on the choice of TCMHT destination. Meanwhile, the marketing publicity, forms and features of TCMHT destinations have a significant positive impact on tourists’ impression intention. Based on the research conclusions and the characteristics of TBSI, this paper proposes the development positioning of tourist destinations, and provides theoretical guidance for the brand building of tourist destinations by using tourists’ unique, specific and direct sensory experience.

IDENTIFIKACIJA DETERMINANTI MODERNOG KONCEPTA RAZVOJA SEKTORA ZDRAVSTVENOG TURIZMA

Health tourism is a construct of modern times based on a holistic lifestyle. Balance, which is characteristic of a holistic approach, implies the unity and harmony of the individual as a system, and at the same time as a subsystem of the environment. The primary goal of this paper is to indicate and highlight the critical success factors, i.e. the determinants of the innovative concept in the process of modern management of the development of health tourism for the satisfaction of stakeholders and ensuring competitiveness. Konecept is already proving to be extremely good in practice, because its effective application brings many benefits to all actors of the health tourism sector. Therefore, the results of the work can be especially used by public policy makers as an instrument for improving the business environment, and by business actors as a platform for improving competitiveness

Impact of Cognition and Social Trust on Forest-Based Health Tourism Intention during COVID-19

Forest-based health tourism is an important part of health tourism, which has gradually become the internal demand of urban residents for a healthy life. However, few studies have explored the factors influencing the willingness of forest-based health tourism in the period of epidemic prevention and control. From the perspective of cognition and social trust, this study explored the impact of cognition and social trust on the forest-based health tourism intention of urban residents during COVID-19, and proposed feasible suggestions for revitalizing the development of forest-based health tourism under the COVID-19 pandemic. Based on online questionnaire data collected from 383 Chinese respondents, a binary Logistic regression model was constructed for analysis. The results showed the following. (1) Cognition of health preservation had a significant positive effect on the forest-based health tourism intention of urban residents, while epidemic prevention cognition had no significant effect. (2) Social trust played a significant role in promoting the behavioral decision of wellness tourism in forest among urban residents. Public trust and interpersonal trust had significant positive effects on the forest-based health tourism intention of urban residents. (3) Educational level and health status were the demographic factors that affected the forest-based health tourism intention of urban residents. These findings provide theoretical references for policy makers to attract tourists and realize the sustainable development of forest-based health tourism, and provide important implications for tourism marketing and destination management under the COVID-19 pandemic.

Health tourism in China: a 40-year bibliometric analysis

ObjetivoEl propósito del presente estudio es analizar sistemáticamente la evolución del desarrollo del turismo de salud, identificar temas y segmentos relevantes de la investigación en turismo de salud y ofrecer direcciones de investigación futuras e implicaciones prácticas para investigadores académicos y profesionales del turismo en todo el mundo utilizando a China como ejemplo.Diseño/metodología/métodoMediante un análisis bibliométrico, el presente estudio analiza exhaustivamente la temática, los segmentos y la evolución de la investigación sobre turismo de salud en los últimos 40 años.ResultadosLos principales hallazgos muestran que la investigación del turismo de salud en China podría dividirse en cuatro etapas con diferentes características y tres segmentos, incluido el turismo de bienestar, el turismo de salud y bienestar y el turismo médico. Los hallazgos también revelan que la tendencia del desarrollo del turismo de salud tiende a ser industrializado, diversificado y sistemático bajo la guía de políticas recientes. El presente estudio hace aportes tanto teóricos como prácticos. Teóricamente, basado en el marco teórico desarrollado por Hall (2011), el presente estudio contribuye al establecimiento y extensión del marco para el turismo de salud en el contexto de China. En la práctica, los hallazgos pueden proporcionar implicaciones políticas relacionadas con el turismo de salud para el desarrollo futuro de la salud o el turismo integrado en el sector de la salud.ImplicacionesEl estudio también propone una posible colaboración entre el gobierno y la academia en términos de formulación de políticas relacionadas con el turismo de salud.Originalidad/valorA través del análisis bibliométrico de 40 años de la evolución del turismo de salud, el presente estudio explora los temas principales del desarrollo del turismo de salud, identifica los segmentos del turismo de salud y analiza las etapas de desarrollo del turismo de salud. Los hallazgos deberían ser de utilidad para los lectores internacionales para comprender mejor la singularidad del desarrollo del turismo de salud y descubrir posibles direcciones futuras de investigación sobre el desarrollo del turismo de salud. Como resultado, las principales contribuciones de este documento son el análisis exhaustivo de la evolución de la investigación en turismo de salud y las implicaciones en otros países y regiones para adoptar un enfoque pragmático para explorar la tendencia y las características únicas del turismo de salud para el desarrollo futuro.

The physical health recovery, the practice of the reproductive method of adaptive physical education

The article focuses on the need to introduce modern alternative health-saving methods and technologies of physical education, in particular, health tourism as an important factor in the educational process and a leading factor in the socialization and harmonious development of children and young people with special needs. The problem of physical education of pupil’s and student’s youth is relevant at the present stage of the development of health tourism. Adaptive physical education is an important factor in the rehabilitation of students who have limited physical health opportunities. We admit that the implementation of the program of health measures to organize the physical activity of students using the natural sedative factors of health tourism will have a great impact on the physical and mental development, social and psychophysical condition of students. Purpose: The purpose of the research is to substantiate the scientific and pedagogical aspects of the reproductive method of adaptive physical education of the student youth with special needs using health tourism. Involvement of this category of students in physical education to determine the social significance of adaptive physical culture in renewed and maintaining the state of physical and psychological health of people with special needs. Approach: A set of complementary methods by the assigned task is used in the work. Analysis and generalization of domestic and world experience on the problem of renewal and rehabilitation by methods and means of adaptive physical culture were carried out. The scientific special literature was analyzed on the problems of applying means of physical culture, on the complex resumption of physical health. Students of non-physical education institutions of higher education in Kharkiv took part in the research. The questionnaire survey technique is used in the experiment. In this method, we used the questionnaire that consists of 8 questions and was applied to up to 60 individuals regardless of gender. Results: The reproductive method of adaptive physical education is aimed at improving the knowledge in physical rehabilitation and forming the skills of persons with special needs to use natural factors for body resumption. The introduction of a mental-conceptual model increased awareness of health tourism means and methods by 18,5% (t=2,41; p<0,01). Psychological comfort after the proposed measures to preserve the state of physical and psychological health of students with special needs improved by 61,3% (t = 3,47; p<0,001). Conclusion: The search for ways to make optimal use of health tourism for the renewal of health and social adaptation of persons with special needs is one of the main areas of adaptive physical education.

HUMAN RESOURCES READINESS IN WELLNESS TOURISM MANAGEMENT IN THE SENIOR TOURIST MARKET SHARE IN INDONESIA

Wellness tourism has now become a trend in the world community, especially after the Covid 19 pandemic. The main goal of wellness tourism is to achieve fitness and health and gain self-satisfaction. Wellness tourism has the potential to be developed in Indonesia, especially for the senior tourist segment. This research was conducted with a qualitative descriptive approach using primary and secondary data. Based on the research results, it can be seen that (1) the readiness of tourism Human Resources (HR) in managing the wellness tourism in the market share of senior tourists is currently not fully ready and the number is fulfilled. Based on survey results at 2 wellnes tourism, the HR used is not HR in the tourism sector. The role of education in improving HR capabilities in the development of wellness tourism as well as knowledge related to senior market share is urgently needed. Services and needs for senior tourists are different from tourists in general. Tourism education is one of the keys in developing tourism potential, especially in the field of wellness tourism business.; (2) Development of Wellness Tourism in Indonesia continues to be encouraged by the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, to revive the tourism sector and the creative economy in the country; socialization is needed to stakeholders and the general public regarding this matter in order to get the necessary understanding and support (3) The government needs to make references regarding the definition of senior tourists, from the aspects of their age, physical ability, character and special needs in managing the wellness business.

Research on the Development Strategy of Forest Health Tourism in Zhejiang Province based on Tourists' Needs

With the improvement of people's living standards and the upgrade of consumers’ need, people pursue healthy travel, consumption, and a livable living environment. Therefore, health tourism has increasingly become a new way of tourism, which is more and more favored and recognized by society. Moreover, the increase in the number of sub-healthy people and the age of population have also prompted people's needs for health tourism. China is vast, and natural recreation environment such as coastal, forests, grasslands, and lakeside provides a solid foundation for the development of different characteristics of health tourism in various places. With rich forest tourism resources, Zhejiang Province has become one of the provinces that nationwide to carry out pilot piloting of forest health tourism. This article analyzes the development status of the Zhejiang forest health tourism and the survey of tourists on the needs of forest health tourism, Which is based on literature research, field survey, and questionnaire surveys. This article finally puts forward reference suggestions on the development of forest health tourism in Zhejiang Province.

Climatic Elements as Development Factors of Health Tourism in South Serbia

The area of Southern Serbia is the most undeveloped tourist area and is marginalized in relation to the total tourist traffic of Serbia. With the purpose of health tourism development, special attention in this paper is focused on five spas and four mountain tourist destinations of South Serbia. The interaction of climatic elements is key for outdoor tourist activities, thus the potential of health tourism is presented through the results of the tourism climate comfort index (TCCI). According to TCCI values calculated for one climatological period 1991–2020, the spa tourist destinations of South Serbia are generally favorable during May, June and September. Four studied mountain destinations have favorable TCCI values generally during June, July and August. Spatio-temporal analysis utilizing ESRI ArcMap software showed that the most favorable conditions for health tourism development occur during spring and autumn for spas (May and June) and during summer for mountain destinations (July and August), which coincides with the ideal TCCI values. MatLab software through linear regression showed that in the period of 2010–2020, a negative tendency of tourists’ number in Vranjska banja spa and Niška banja spa is noticed, and a positive tendency for Prolom banja spa and Sijarinska banja spa. The paper also highlights the perspectives of other tourism forms of development in South Serbia.

Experiential Value, Place Attachment, and Environmentally Responsible Behavior of Forest Health Tourism—A Case of China

With the increasing concerns about the environmental issues of forest health tourism, the environmentally responsible behavior of tourists becomes the key to the sustainable development of forest health tourism. Therefore, the article takes experiential value as an entrance point, innovatively introduces the scenario of forest health tourism, and divides experiential value into the functional value, hedonic value and symbolic value. Then, a theoretical model of the experiential value of forest health tourism, two place perception concepts of place attachment, and environmentally responsible behavior is constructed. The research team assembled 498 valid questionnaires for the empirical investigation in the Fuzhou National Forest Park in China. Structural equation modeling was used to test the theoretical hypotheses and to explore the cumulative driving effects of the experiential value and place attachment in forest health tourism on environmentally responsible behavior. The results showed that the experiential value of forest health tourism had a significant positive effect on the environmentally responsible behavior. It also had a significant positive effect on place attachment, which also strengthened the environmentally responsible behavior. In addition, place attachment is considered to be an important mediator of the effect of forest health tourism’s experiential value on the intention of environmentally responsible behavior. Place attachment is a more important element driving environmentally responsible behavior than the elements of the forest health tourism’s experiential value. Place attachment has a greater impact on tourists’ environmentally responsible behavior than place identification. This highlights the importance of place attachment in influencing the environmentally responsible behavior of tourists. These results provide a useful theoretical basis and practical reference for promoting environmentally responsible behavior in forest health tourism.

TOURIST DEMAND FOR WELLNESS TOURISM IN VIETNAM: A CASE STUDY IN BA VI NATIONAL PARK

This research aims to analyze the needs of tourists for this type of wellness tourism. The research was carried out with a survey method on 118 tourists who visited Ba Vi National Park. Research results show that 89% of tourists surveyed have a desire to travel healthily to improve their physical and mental health. Ba Vi National Park has many favorable conditions for the development of wellness tourism. Tourism products that meet the needs of tourists mainly focus on products that are close to nature and have health care activities. Factors of income, location of destination, and attractiveness of natural landscape are the main factors affecting the demand of tourists.

SIRBİSTAN’DA JEOTERMAL KAYNAKLARIN SAĞLIK TURİZMİNDE DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Toplam yüzey alanı 88.000 km2 olan Sırbistan’ın, jeolojik kompozisyonları çok karmaşıktır. Bu karmaşıklık nedeniyle, Sırbistan topraklarında 50'den fazla kaplıca ile 500'e yakın sıcak ve soğuk maden suyu kaynağı olan 1000'den fazla kaynak kaplıca turizminde büyük bir potansiyele sahiptir. Sırbistan mineral içerik çeşitliliği ve şifalı kaynakların sıcaklığı açısından bu doğal zenginlik dalında en zengin ülkelerden biri olduğunu göz önünde bulundurarak bir kaplıcalar ülkesi olarak da tanımlanır. SPA Latince’de Salus Per Aquam” kelimelerinin baş harflerinden oluşur ve “su ile gelen sağlık” anlamını verir. Sırbistan, son derece elverişli doğal kaynaklara rağmen kaplıca turizminin gelişimi için hala gelişmemiş destinasyonlar olarak da kabul edilmektedir. Kaplıcalar, Sırbistan'da turizmin önemli bir boyutunu temsil etmektedir. Sırbistan İstatistik Ofisi’ne göre 2020 yılında toplam turizm gecelemelerinin dörtte biri kaplıcalarda kaydedilmiştir. Son beş yılda kaplıcalara gelenlerin artış oranı %12,7, geceleme sayısı ise %8,7 artmıştır. Bu çalışma, Sırbistan'ın sahip olduğu bu doğal zenginliğin sadece dörtte birinin kullanıldığını dikkate alarak, jeotermal kaynakların sağlık turizminde gelişimi ve kaplıcaların ülke turizminde konumlandırılması hakkında bilgi vermeyi amaçlamıştır. Makalede kullanılan materyaller, bilimsel makaleler, yayınlar, haritalar ve raporlardan oluşmaktadır. Makalede, teorik araştırma yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışma sonunda, Sırbistan'ın sağlık turizminin gelişimi için önemli kaynaklara sahip olduğu, sağlık turizminin az gelişmiş alanların ekonomik kalkınmasında önemli bir teşvik faktörü olabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Prospects for the development of the concept of tourism in the context of Healthy China: A case study of Yunnan

Under the influence of the Healthy China strategy, health tourism has become the main trend of tourism market development. The market development prospect is broad, and people pay more attention to relaxing pressure and relieving physical and mental fatigue in the process of tourism. Health tourism is a kind of tourism products based on ecological environment, which pay attention to leisure and health. It is beneficial to the physical health of tourists, and can provide psychological counseling and health services for tourists. It is a new growth point of tourism economy in the modern social background. Yunnan Province has rich tourism resources, mild climate in the four seasons, unique ethnic customs and culture, forest, lake, mountain, which provides important support and help for the development of local health tourism industry. Based on this, this paper analyzes the concept of health tourism, discusses the types of health tourism resources in Yunnan province, and puts forward the development prospect of Yunnan tourism industry under the background of healthy China, in order to promote the development of health tourism in Yunnan province.

Modeling spa destination choice for leveraging hydrogeothermal potentials in Serbia

Abstract Serbian spas, with their abundant geothermal springs and air qualities, are a significant natural resource for the country. Nowadays, tourism industry has become a predominant beneficiary attracting both leisure- and health-related visits. Nonetheless, the literature on current consumer behavior is devoid of a model that incorporates both motivating and constraining factors in the spa and wellness industry’s decision-making process. Serbia’s spa industry is still adjusting to the needs of the modern wellness visitor as a result of the country’s unique transitional path. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the role of incentive and restrictions in the destination selection process of spa visitors in Serbia, to gain insight into the development of wellness tourism in a particular sociocultural environment. The analytical hierarchy process was used to determine the relative relevance of the consumer behavior elements evaluated. The findings indicate that non-medical motivations are becoming more important, implying that demand is finally shifting toward the wellness idea, which was initially disrupted by the country’s delayed transformation. The findings have administrative ramifications, the most significant of which were price strategies and product diversification.

DETERMINING THE EFFECT OF LOCAL PEOPLE'S PERCEPTION OF HEALTH TOURISM ON THE SUPPORT GIVEN TO HEALTH TOURISM: EXAMPLE OF AKYAZI

Health tourism, which is a sub-field of tourism, has an important place in the development of countries and regions. It is the people living in that region who are most affected by the development of health tourism activities in a region. Perceptions and support of local people have important effects on the development and sustainability of health tourism in a destination. It should be ensured that the local people have positive perceptions about the effects of health tourism and support tourism development. In this study, the effect of four factors affecting health tourism on the support of local people to the development of health tourism was investigated. Study data were collected through face-to-face survey application to 392 participants residing in Akyazı. The research model and hypotheses developed in line with the purpose of the study were tested with the structural equation model using AMOS 4 and SPSS 22 package programs. As a result of the test, it was determined that the model had a good fit. It has been determined that the effect of socio-cultural and health-related factors on the total impact of health tourism development is significant. The total impacts, economic and health impact variables were all found to have a significant impact on the local community's support for health tourism development.

빅데이터를 활용한 웰니스 관광에 대한 인식과 태도 분석

This study used big data to conduct text mining and sentiment analysis on individuals' perceptions and attitudes toward wellness tourism. From October 8th, 2018 to October 7th, 2021, web documents containing keywords such as 'wellness tourism' and 'wellness travel' were collected from Naver, Daum, and Google. A total of 23,770 documents were used to analyze keywords frequency, TF-IDF, N-gram, degree centrality, CONCOR, and sentiment analysis after duplicated posts and meaningless words were removed. The findings revealed that the words most frequently appearing and having high TF-IDF values were mentioned in the context of wellness tourism destination selection and development, purposes and types of wellness travel, and information on domestic wellness tourist spots. Words associated with wellness, tourism, tourism destinations, selections, and so on played critical roles in the network, according to degree centrality measures. Six clusters emerged from CONCOR analysis, including core attributes, projects, wellness tourism development, and so on. Finally, sentiment analysis revealed that people had a generally positive impression of wellness tourism. This study contributes to a better understanding of wellness tourism perceptions and aids in the development of marketing strategies to revitalize wellness tourism.

Development of health tourism in Ukraine

The article examines the problems and prospects of the development of medical tourism. An analysis of the development and assessment of the current state of the health care complex in Ukraine was given. The article emphasizes that resort recreation should become a priority area for the future development of tourism in the state, as it can already provide significant foreign exchange earnings, contribute to the strengthening of the national monetary system and create additional jobs in this area. Centers of health tourism are sanatoriums and resorts of various medical profiles. The peculiarity of the tourist product in health tourism is its seasonal nature, the predominance of intra-regional trips and the specific age composition of consumers.
