Analysis of the Reasons Why Banks Issue Green Bonds

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and science and technology, environmental problems are becoming more and more prominent. "Double carbon" target is an important measure to put forward by China to improve the environment. Among them, green bonds provide outstanding achievements for the achievement of the "double carbon" target, and provide funds for the implementation and development of energy conservation and low-carbon projects. This paper uses the method of case analysis, focusing on the development of Industrial Bank in green bonds; At the same time, from the theory, economic factors, efficiency factors and other aspects of the in-depth analysis of Industrial Bank issued green bond reasons. Through case analysis and research, it is concluded that national policies and the benefits brought by the issuance of green bonds are the most important factors to promote the issuance of green bonds by banks, and the theory of environmental Kuznets curve is the premise of the issuance of green bonds.

Significance of Artificial Intelligence in the Production of Effective Output in Power Electronics

The power electronics (PE) industry is expected to play a significant role in the development of energy conservation and global industrialization trends of the 21st century. Due to the technological advancements that have occurred in the field, such as transportation and communication, the need for efficient and quality products is becoming more prevalent. The importance of power electronics is acknowledged in the automated industries that are constantly striving to improve their efficiency and effectiveness. Due to the increasing global energy consumption, the need for more energy-efficient technologies is also becoming more prevalent. Around 87% of our energy is derived from fossil fuels, while 6% is generated from nuclear power plants and 7% from renewable sources. Due to the increasing concerns about the environment and safety issues associated with nuclear plants and fossil fuels, the need for energy conservation is becoming more prevalent. This is also expected to be achieved through the development of power electronics. In the coming decades, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) tools, such as neural network, expert system, and fuzzy logic, is expected to bring a new era to the field of motion control and power electronics. Despite the technological advancements that have occurred in the field, these tools have not yet reached the power electronics sectors. In this paper, the AI tools and their applications in the field of power electronics and motion control are discussed.

Peculiarities of Housing and Communal Services and the Difficulties of Implementing Energy-Saving Technologies: The Case of Kazakhstan

The article considers the problems arising in the implementation of energy-saving technologies in the housing and communal services sector of Kazakhstan, including the example of specific situations. Despite the global trend of energy saving and increasing the energy efficiency of production and service provision, there is almost no introduction of energy-saving technologies by utility companies in Kazakhstan. After reviewing the experience of the previous 10 years and the unsuccessful attempts of Western manufacturers to enter this market, we identified the reasons for this situation, namely, the need to identify the exact institutional need for implementation with reference to the Kazakhstan regulatory framework, the need to consider the financial effect of the projects, not according to the prices of the producing countries (which are usually Western countries, where utility bills are much higher) but the Kazakhstan energy prices and/or tariffs for the necessary resources, as well as the necessity to calculate the economic and/or social effectiveness of the project. The authors present the results of the analysis of public utilities of Kazakhstan as DMUs (decision-making units). Data envelopment analysis (DEA) was chosen as the method of analysis, which allows for a nonparametric evaluation of economic agents by several input and output parameters. The authors also propose aspects of technical policy aimed at the development of energy conservation in Kazakhstan.

Design of energy consumption simulation model and development of support platform based on energy supply system

The energy Internet system absorbs a large number of distributed energy collection and storage devices, integrates energy production, transmission and consumption, meets various energy needs such as electricity, cold, heat and gas in the system, makes efficient use of various grades of energy, realizes the efficient utilization of energy and the compatibility of renewable energy, and reduces the system risk of energy. At present, the lack of theoretical research on energy consumption model leads to a certain blindness in the development of energy conservation. Strengthening energy consumption benchmarking management is helpful to quantitatively analyze energy consumption parameters. However, it is difficult to form systematic research on energy consumption and tap the energy-saving potential within the system only based on benchmarking management. Through the research of this paper, the energy consumption data information of energy consumption system can be processed, analyzed and optimized efficiently, the key energy consumption influencing factors can be extracted, the mathematical model can be built, the model base can be provided for the energy consumption analysis of typical energy consumption system, and the general energy consumption evaluation and energy-saving diagnosis tools and systems can be developed as the information processing tools and credentials of energy-saving diagnosis data, Provide scientific guidance for the rational application of power grid energy-saving technology and equipment, and effectively promote the improvement of power grid energy efficiency.

Design and Analysis of Thermal Management System of Power Matching Transmission in Energy Machinery

With the technical development of energy conservation and emission reduction technology, the internal structure of engineering machinery has become denser. The rising full-machine heat load that ensues challenges the effect of the cooling system. In the traditional thermal management system for the transmission in energy machinery, the cooling capacity does not fully match the load of each subsystem, and the thermal management components cannot adapt to the dynamic cooling demand of engineering machinery. To solve these problems, this paper designs and analyzes the thermal management system of power matching transmission in energy machinery. Firstly, the energy distribution among different components of engineering machinery, including, hydraulic system, transmission system, and cooling system, was described in each work section, and the dynamic matching method was detailed for hydraulic torque converter. Then, heat source engine, hydraulic torque converter, and hydraulic retarder were selected as the targets of thermal management for the power transmission system of loader. Next, the thermal management cycle was framed as a scheme in which the engine transmission system is independent with the cooling circulation system, and a heat transfer calculation model was constructed for loader transmission system. The proposed model was proved effective through experiments. The research results provide a reference for the thermal management of other subsystems of engineering machinery.

A target-evaluation method for heat exchanger network optimisation with heat transfer enhancement

Energy conservation and efficiency improvement are critical problems for industrial process systems. Heat exchanger network retrofit has emerged as a powerful tool for energy-saving and Heat Integration, but the topology modification with new heat exchangers and re-piping is expensive and demands a long payback period. In this study, heat transfer enhancement is deployed in the heat exchanger network retrofit to avoid network topology modification. A target-evaluation method is proposed for heat exchanger network retrofit with the consideration of the thermal efficiency and the level of heat transfer enhancement. Two case studies are conducted to demonstrate the proposed method. The energy-saving of case 1 is 10.6752 MW, which is 13.3% of the original utility loads; 8.0303 MW heat loads are saved in case 2, which is 14.7% of the original utility loads. The results of return on investment indicate that enhancement of the best candidate heat exchanger can bring more energy-saving and better economic efficiency with fewer modifications to the existing heat exchangers, which is also confirmed by sensitivity analysis. The lower temperature effectiveness of the heat exchanger shows great potential for thermal efficiency improvement. The present results highlight the energy-saving effects that heat transfer enhancement has on the heat exchanger network retrofit. The proposed two-stage method supports the further development of energy conservation in different industries.

Methodological basis for the development of the rating system for assessing the energy efficiency of the industrial facilities

Nowadays, there is a key problem in the development of energy conservation and energy efficiency in the Russian Federation. It is the absence of the system for assessing energy efficiency of the largest ultimate customers of the energy resources, they are industrial facilities. We can speak about the existence of the methods for classifying residential buildings or equipment as energy efficient. We can also speak about the absence of the methods for assessing the energy efficiency of the industrial facilities in both foreign and Russian practice nowadays. The methodological basis for the development of the rating system for assessing the energy efficiency of the industrial facilities is discussed in this article. The fundamental principles are presented in it. They must be taken into account when developing the rating system. The structural and logical scheme for the development of the rating system for assessing the energy efficiency of the industrial facilities is proposed. It reflects the relationship and sequence of its main elements, and it allows presenting the development process in the complete form.

PROBLEMS AND PROSPECTS OF ENERGY SAVING IN RUSSIA

The relevance of the theme of improving the energy efficiency of the Russian economy has been considered. It has been noted, that a large reserve of saving energy resources is available in the field of housing and communal services. The main barriers, hindering the development of energy conservation in Russia, which are divided into three main groups, have been examined. It has been indicated on the lack of effective activity of the Federal energy service companies, to which a reasoned explanation has been given. The ways to eliminate these barriers by increasing direct state support for energy saving have been proposed. The expediency of integration of the energy management system into the integrated management system of the company has been noted, its elements have been considered, their functional purpose has been revealed. The advantages of the developed energy management system have been described.

PRE-CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF AN ENERGY CONSERVATION POLICY IN DEVELOPMENT OF ENTERPRISES OF THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING COMPLEX

Introduction. Nowadays, the formation of a policy of the energy-efficient economic activity is a necessary condition for revival of the national production, growth of innovative attractiveness, sustainable development, as well as achieving the European standards for energy security. Development of mechanical engineering based on implementing the energy conservation policy and using the energy-efficient policy will benefit domestic enterprises under a competitive environment. Purpose. The article’s purpose is to analyse the state of domestic mechanical engineering, as well as to reveal opportunities and prospects for enhancing energy efficiency and ensuring energy security. Methodology. The methodological basis of the scientific paper encompasses fundamental provisions of economics, scientific cognition, the general scientific principles, and historical and system approaches to studying a matter of the formation and development of energy conservation and energy efficiency in the industry of mechanical engineering. Results. The article examines the state and indicators of development of the industry of mechanical engineering, as well as prospects of implementing the energy conservation policy. The authors have analysed directions of investment support of enterprises. The authors have determined factors conducing to activation of the government activity for ensuring energy security of enterprises of the industry of mechanical engineering. The authors have proven that the latter is a foundation of the economic potential of the country, since the state of socio-economic development of Ukraine depends on a level of efficiency being inherent to the activity of enterprises operating in this industry.

Can constraint energy-saving policy facilitate industrial green production performance in China?

The role of constraint energy-saving policy (ESP) playing in the coordinated development of energy conservation, emission reduction, and economic growth is of great significance to the country's sustainable progress. Applying a non-radial and non-oriented DEA model incorporating innovation output and multiple undesirable outputs, this paper measures the green production performance (GPP) of China's industrial sectors from 2002 to 2015. And then the effect of implementing energy-saving policy on GPP is investigated through Quasi-difference-in-differences (Quasi-DID) method. The results show that China's industrial GPP rises during 2002-2004 and then declines with fluctuations. Technology change (TC) is the dominant driver. Energy-saving policy positively affects industrial GPP in general yet further dynamic analysis reveals that such a positive effect remains unstable and finally manifests a reverse impact at the end of every five-year-plan period. Therefore, China should properly introduce market mechanisms, formulate comprehensive policy mix strategies to balance sustainable improvement of industrial economy and ecological environment.

Green Building and Information Model Construction

Building Information Modeling (BIM) provides a new design method and new career direction—architectural planning. Building planners generally propose project components and overall ideas based on project proposals and basic design information including: space requirements, space scale, space combination, usage, environmental protection, structural modeling, equipment systems, construction area, project investment, and construction cycle—a complete implementation of the project plan, to provide a basis for further green building energy conservation development design.

The Evaluation of Energy Conservation Development and Sustainability of the Retail Industry in China

China's rapid economic growth brings about prosperity in the retail industry, but also presents challenges to China's energy supply. How to improve energy efficiency is playing an increasingly prominent role. Based on the statistics during 2007–2009, the author analyzes the retail industry's energy consumption, which mainly concentrates on lighting, air-conditioning, and refrigerating and freezing, and the main focus of energy conservation efforts. With the higher demand of energy conservation, the retail industry has begun to seek new energy-saving methods, including using new energy, cutting energy consumption at every link of the entire supply chain, and educating consumers in green consumption. The author also uses the analytic hierarchy process to evaluate the contributions of social responsibility, technology, finance, and policy support to improve energy efficiency sustainability. It is concluded that to enhance the energy saving sustainability of the retail industry, as financing approaches, technology adaptability and policy support should be optimized.
