Training of personnel for the development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory as a factor of socio-economic development of the region

One of the main regional drivers for the development of domestic tourism in our country is the Krasnodar Territory. Taking into account the strategic development of the industry until 2030, there is a significant shortage of personnel for the effective development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory. As a result, it is possible to formulate a research problem caused by a significant gap between the requirements of the socio-economic development of the region and the current state of affairs in the field of personnel training for the development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory.The goal of the research is to identify the main problems in the process of training personnel for the development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory, and to formulate the main directions for optimizing this process. The methodological basis of the research is determined by the use of such scientific research methods as studying scientific literature, analysis, generalization, description.The research results: it has been determined that currently the personnel shortage in the domestic tourism industry, according to various estimates, ranges from 30% to 40%. At the same time, there are a number of significant problems in the system of training personnel for the development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory as a factor in the socio-economic development of the region. Accordingly, it is necessary to correct the personnel training process for the development of domestic tourism in the Krasnodar Territory.Key conclusions: It is necessary to revise training curricula towards their practice-oriented nature, taking into account the development of digital technologies, improve career guidance work, and more actively involve employer representatives in the development of curricula, as well as current and intermediate certification.

Развитие туристско-рекреационных кластеров на основе программно-целевых методов управления

In the article, the author examines those tools for the development of tourist clusters that can be used by public authorities at the federal and regional levels as part of their formation of program documents aimed at supporting the industry and the processes of cluster formation in it. The author proposes to consider an algorithm for using a program-oriented approach during the formation and development of tourist clusters, taking into account the expediency of prioritizing the tasks of developing the tourism industry in some regions of the Russian Federation. The author also identifies a problem in the system used to assess the implementation of the goals set for industry departments, which consists in the fact that there is a certain discrepancy between the developed system of target indicators and those tasks that are defined to achieve the main goal of the development of domestic tourism. At the same time, correct assessment procedures and a well-built system of indicative indicators to assess the level of implementation of cluster initiatives will allow to intensify investment activities in the tourism cluster through subsidizing mechanisms from the federal budget, expanding preferential lending programs provided by financial organizations, public–private partnerships, and at the stages of development of the tourism cluster - to ensure its self-financing.

Research Progress of China's Rural B and B Based on CiteSpace Analysis

The rapid development of rural B&B has gradually become an important carrier of domestic tourism development and an important way of rural revitalization. The article takes 95 pieces of Chinese core literature published in the CNKI database from 2010 to 2022 as the research object, and carries out bibliometric analysis from the amount of articles, time, authors and institutions, and keywords, and then combs out the research contents of five aspects, namely, lodging and rural tourism, design of rural lodging, rural lodging industry, development of lodging and countermeasures, to find out the shortcomings of the research on rural lodging in our country, and to put forward the future development of rural lodging, which should focus on the diversity of research perspectives, and the diversity of research contents. B&B should focus on the diversity of research perspectives and the plurality of research contents, such as the research on the characterization of B&B, the quality enhancement of B&B industry and other contents, as well as the comparative study of B&B industry in different regions, in order to provide reference and inspiration for the in-depth research in this field, and to further understand and promote the practice of rural B&B tourism in China.

Factors Influencing the Development of Domestic Tourism in the Erongo Region, Namibia

Domestic tourism is viewed as the main driving force of the tourism industry in major economies globally. It has received worldwide recognition as a dynamic part of the industry with enormous potential for growth and is considered a useful tool for socio-economic development. However, in Namibia, as is the case with many developing countries, the sector is academically less explored and economically misrepresented. On that background, the main aim of this study was to understand the key factors influencing the development of domestic tourism in developing economies. The Erongo region of Namibia served as a case study. A structured questionnaire was used to collect usable data from 400 respondents. From this study, it was found that major obstacles to the development of domestic tourism in the study area include affordability and awareness issues, limited infrastructure, and poor government policies. While collaboration amongst stakeholders, robust government policies, and coordinated marketing efforts were identified as key determinants of domestic tourism development, they were also identified as key enabling factors. Consequently, the study recommends differential pricing, augmenting the marketing and promotion of tourism products to domestic tourists, and promoting collaboration among stakeholders.

Реализация программ активного туризма как драйвер развития регионального рынка туристских услуг

Increasing interest in healthy lifestyle and active recreation is a new trend of consumer preferences. There has been a significant increase in income from the sale of active tours in Russian regions. Their popularity has increased significantly in recent years. The purpose of the study was to analyze the practice and problems of implementing active tourism programs in Orel region, and to substantiate the importance and significance of popularization and implementation of active tourism programs for the development of regional tourism market. Methods of analysis and synthesis, comparison, comparison, and review evaluation were used in the study. The article provides an overview of interpretations of the concept of active tourism given by the authors of scientific works, and its social significance and development priority are indicated in connection with the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin, given to the Cabinet of Ministers: to consider a set of measures for the development of active tourism. The results of the review of organizing active tourism practice in Orel region are presented, and its types and organization system model in the region are indicated. It is proved that active tourism plays a significant role in formation of the tourist flow in the region, since the projects that attract federal funding to the region are being implemented in this area. A number of initiatives of Orel entrepreneurs received grant support from the Government of the Russian Federation. At the same time, active tourism has not received due attention so far. The main problems of the development of active tourism in Orel region are identified and outlined. The conclusion is made about the insufficient use of active tourism potential. So it is necessary to adjust and detail the Program of domestic tourism development in Orel region. Entities engaged in tourism activities in the region and organizations planning investments in tourism industry should receive a clear instruction concerning the priority of active tourism development in the region. This motivates them to focus their efforts on tourist products formation in demand in the region, expand the range of offers in the sector of active tourism, and accordingly initiates the development of regional tourism market. Development of active tourism will significantly increase competitiveness of tourist destination.

THE WEEKEND TOUR AS THE PROSPECTIVE TREND OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Currently, the development of domestic tourism in Ukraine has now been officially recognized as a strategic priority. Statistics show that in many foreign countries, revenues from domestic tourism make up to 80% out of the total tourism type. Local tourism enhances domestic consumption and, as a result, it creates demand for local goods and services. Domestic tourism contributes to the development of related industries, even those considered unprofitable. The development of domestic tourism can become a source of financial income for the country’s economic system and stabilize the labour market. Therefore, the state and prospects of the development of the domestic tourism, the weekend tour, in particular, as a direction that will contribute to the development of rural areas in different regions of Ukraine, require detailed research. Khmelnytskyi region has prerequisites for the development of a weekend tour, namely: beautiful landscapes, unique flora and fauna, the presence of rivers, lakes and forests, protected areas, rich architectural heritage, low price for tourist services. In addition, there is a large number of tour operators in the region, developed infrastructure and repaired roads even in remote villages. The purpose of our article is to analyze the development of weekend tours as the prospective trend of domestic tourism development in the Khmelnytskyi region. The regional features of the development of weekend tours in Ukraine, in the Khmelnytskyi region, in particular, are revealed. An analysis of the level of implementation of weekend tours in the region is carried out. Recommendations for improving the organization of weekend tours in the Khmelnytskyi region have been developed. The authors of the article are convinced that the study and adopting the best practices of European countries in the context of a weekend tour will contribute to an increase in income from domestic tourism.

The Regional Labor Market in the Field of Tourism and the Hotel Industry in the Context of the Transformation of the Russian Economy

The relevance. The departure of foreign companies, combined with the growth of domestic demand, has created positive prerequisites for the development of domestic hotel chains and domestic tourism. These objective processes have led to the need to assess the labor market in the tourism and hotel industry in order to identify problems and ways to solve them with the increasing demand of enterprises in this field for qualified specialists. The purpose of the study is to study and analyze the current situation and problems in the labor market in the tourism and hotel industry of the Kursk region. The objectives were to assess the job market in the region, requests and offers from employers, the structure of vacancies and the activity of applicants. Methodology. The research methodology is based on the analysis of statistical information contained in the all-Russian federal database of vacancies and resumes of specialists in the tourism and hotel industry. Results. The data of Russian online recruitment platforms are analyzed and systematized. Based on the results of the analysis of the composition and structure of the labor market of specialists in the hospitality sector, the comparison of supply and demand indicators in it, the analysis of wages in the field under consideration and the dynamics of its change, measures were proposed, the implementation of which will ensure the sustainable development of the industry. Conclusions. Despite some problems and shortcomings in the hospitality sector of the Kursk region, this industry continues to develop and grow. With the growing number of tourists and an increase in the volume of services provided, the labor market in this area is becoming more competitive and attractive for qualified specialists. Regular monitoring of the labor market and analysis of changes in personnel qualification requirements will improve the quality of services provided and meet the growing demand for hospitality workers.

MODERN PRINCIPLES OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ENOGASTRONOMIC TOURISM IN THE ODESSA REGION

Of particular importance for the territories is the development of industries that form a multiplier effect, positively influence adjacent branches of the national economy, contribute to the creation of new jobs, increase the mobility of the population, contribute to the budgets of all levels, ensuring the economic growth of the territory. Gastronomy is a significant resource and source in the formation of the uniqueness of different territories: tourists who visit destinations get to know local attractions, show interest in national cuisine, local traditions, cultural and ethnic features of food and drink preparation. The Odesa region has significant potential for the development of food and wine tourism and is one of the most promising innovative areas in the Odesa tourist market. The purpose of the publication is to study the peculiarities of the functioning of eno-gastronomic tourism in the Odesa region and its impact on the economic and social development of the region and rural areas. The article examines the essence and nature of the popularity of domestic tourism. It is noted that the development of domestic tourism in the region can be considered as a factor in the growth of the local economy, the production of a tourist product on the basis of available tourist and recreational resources, the consumption of which will contribute to the development of the regional economy. It is noted that gastronomic and wine tourism is a tool that will allow promoting little-known destinations, help revive the local economy and preserve traditions. The essence and significance of gastronomic tourism is determined and it is substantiated that eno-gastronomic tourism is gaining significant popularity, especially in regions with available resources for its development. Odesa region is one of the most favorable for the development of food and wine tourism. Specific features that will lead to the development of food and wine tourism in the region have been determined. The actual principles of the "Wine and Taste Road of Ukrainian Bessarabia", which involves the display and popularization of enogastronomic tourist routes and their importance for the development of the region and rural areas, have been defined. The development of food and wine tourism does not require significant investments, special or unique infrastructural developments. The effectiveness of the development of eno-gastronomic tourism is directly related to the ability of tourist operators to competently organize gastronomic tours, use the opportunities of integration at the regional level, adapt successful foreign experience and implement it in the domestic sphere of the tourism industry

The market of medical tourism: opportunities and perspectives

BACKGROUND: The COVID-19 pandemic and the complex geopolitical situation have considerably reduced international medical travel, which has had a significant impact on the medical tourism market. At the same time, these circumstances have acted as a trigger for expanding the range of opportunities in the domestic market and the emergence of new types of medical services, such as vaccine tourism.
 AIM: To study the current opportunities of the medical tourism market in Russia and to outline promising areas for its development and optimization in view of the existing limitations.
 MATERIALS AND METHODS: The article reviews current legislative and regulatory legal acts, publications of modern authors on the issue of medical tourism development in Russia and also studies the demand for and popularity of medical tourism among the consumer audience (through Google Trends service).
 RESULTS: Based on the analysis, it is established that the main difficulties of medical tourism sector development in our country at the present stage are weak transport infrastructure, low targeting of services and imperfections of the unified register.
 CONCLUSION: Such problems as weak transport infrastructure, low targeting and amateur private sector activities reduce the pace of development of domestic tourism. Given the current shortcomings, optimization of the domestic medical tourism market in Russia requires building new logistics solutions.

МІЖНАРОДНИЙ ТА НАЦІОНАЛЬНИЙ ТУРИЗМ В ПЕРІОД СВІТОВОЇ РЕЦЕСІЇ ТА РОСІЙСЬКО-УКРАЇНСЬКОЇ ВІЙНИ: ПЕРСПЕКТИВИ ПОВОЄННОГО ВІДНОВЛЕННЯ

The article focuses on the functioning of the global and national tourism industry after the end of the COVID-19 pandemic and during the first two years of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The relevance of the work is enhanced by the fact that the tourism industry is the first to suffer in times of political and financial crises. But despite this, it is the most profitable in a period of stable functioning of state institutions that ensure overall economic growth. The paper analyzes the importance of stable functioning of the hospitality sector in wartime, further development of the hotel and restaurant business, search for ways to maximize profits, and rethinking the existing foreign experience of countries in the territory of which military operations took place, which had a devastating effect on the tourism sector.
 The development of domestic tourism requires the introduction of innovative approaches (development of new hiking routes, stabilization of mental health of military personnel undergoing rehabilitation, integration of IDPs into social and public life of large cities, reconstruction of old and promotion of new tourist locations in accordance with the needs of time and public demands, development of "memory routes") to expand the list of traditional services and introduction of digital technologies, which facilitates business and expands the range of future consumers.

Digital financial inclusion and domestic tourism demand: Through the lens of spatial spillover

Domestic tourism demand has dominated the global tourism market and has been more resilient during the COVID-19 pandemic; yet, it is under-studied compared to international tourism demand. Digital financial inclusion (DFI) enables the provision of formal financial products and services to small and medium-sized tourism enterprises and tourists through cost-effective digital means, potentially boosting domestic tourism demand. Integrating micro- and macro-level data from 335 prefecture-level regions in China, we investigate the impact of DFI on domestic tourism demand using spatial panel models. Our analysis reveals significant and positive effects, both direct and spillover, of DFI on domestic tourism demand within a region and across regions. Notably, among the three dimensions of DFI, the usage depth exhibits the most substantial spillover effects. Furthermore, our findings also highlight the crucial role of DFI in internalizing domestic tourism revenues. Our study provides practical implications for sustainable domestic tourism development in the digital era.

Ноономическая модель развития регионального туризма

In the context of a complicated geopolitical situation and with a certain change in the possibilities of human movement in space, a subconscious, but later conscious increase in a person's desire to travel occurs at the first stages, expanding the space around them to obtain new positive emotional sensations. The active development of domestic tourism provides for the need to choose a conceptual approach in prioritizing the orientation of the tourism industry market. The classical approach to the development of regional tourism is focused on the development of tourist infrastructure and the promotion of a differentiated competitive tourist product. The Sverdlovsk region, traditionally known for promoting industrial and business tourism, is entering the next stage of tourism development in the region, which allowed it to move from 10th place in 2022 in the ranking of sustainable development of tourism and the hospitality industry in the subjects of the Russian Federation to 6th place in 2023. Currently, a new, non-economic model of regional tourism development is being formed, aimed at meeting the needs of each individual tourist and subsequently increasing the tourist flow and income to the region as a result of the current prolonged effect of new travel experiences. At the same time, when choosing a travel product, a person is based on his sensory perception and the possibility of receiving positive emotions. The priority is to meet the needs, then increase the tourist flow and income from tourism.

Целевые и организационные аспекты внутренней туристической деятельности

The article highlights the essential aspects of improving the organizational mechanism and decomposing the goal of domestic tourism development. Based on the significant increase in the number of domestic tourist trips at the end of 2023, a conclusion is drawn about the priorities for the year-round organization of the functioning of the tourism industry in the region, and aspects of the spatial development of rural areas are also considered. The author has formulated recommendations for the development of internal development, incl. in the aspect of rural tourism development, complementing the norms of state policy.

Туризм как форма актуализации семейных ценностей в России

Целью исследования является анализ процессов развития семейного туризма в России как актуальной формы сохранения и упрочения традиционных духовно-нравственных ценностей. Использованы результаты научных изысканий и энциклопедические труды, посвященные истории отечественного туризма и вопросам аксиологии семьи, а также документы органов государственной власти и материалы из социальных сетей. Представлена история становления семейных путешествий в XIX в., рассмотрен опыт развития семейных путешествий в СССР, охарактеризовано современное состояние семейного туризма в России. Проанализированы государственные программы и общественные инициативы поддержки семейных путешествий. Развитие семейного туризма изучено на конкретных примерах, связанных с информационно-просветительной деятельностью российских пользователей социальных сетей. Выявлены факторы развития семейных путешествий в России, сформулированы рекомендации, относящиеся к вопросам совершенствования их организации и популяризации. The aim of the study is to analyze the processes of development of family tourism in Russia as a relevant form of preserving and strengthening traditional spiritual and moral values. The results of scientific research and encyclopedic works on the history of domestic tourism and issues of family axiology, as well as documents from government bodies and materials from social networks were used. Family tourism in the form of family travel is for the first time considered as part of the organizational and methodological system for the development of domestic tourism in Russia. The research employed a systemic approach in combination with classical methods of historical research, as well as techniques of contextual analysis and text interpretation. Family travel is presented as a stable phenomenon that appeared in Russia back in the 19th century. As an example reflecting the connection with historical tradition, the article considers the large-scale modern project Imperial Route, uniting places of memory associated with the history of the Romanov family. The systemic nature of family tourism, which became widespread during the Soviet period and became one of the foundations for strengthening traditional values in modern Russia, is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to the pedagogical potential of family tourism as one of the means of educating children, adolescents and young people in general. It is noted that parents’ positive attitudes towards school trips help to increase children’s interest in the chosen activity, increasing their personal discipline and responsibility. Examples of family travel of Russian citizens along foreign tourist routes - to individual countries and around the world – are analyzed. The initiative informational and educational activities of Russian social network users related to the popularization of family tourism are considered. Consistent measures to support family tourism taken by the state and reflected in the decrees of the President of Russia and the Government of the Russian Federation are studied. The authors conclude that the factors for the development of family tourism in Russia are (1) the introduction into force of federal-level strategic documents that determine the development of tourism and serve to strengthen traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, and (2) the activities of public organizations and authorities to develop new social projects related to family tourism. The authors proposed to create a scientifically based strategic document that sets the organizational conditions for the implementation of this form of tourism activity.

Regulatory Impact of Competitions of Professional Skills in the Provision of Accommodation Services (Hotel Services) in Tourism

In the conditions of development of inbound and domestic tourism in the Russian Federation, there is an increasing need for professional staff, including for the sphere of accommodation services (hotel services). In this regard, it is relevant to search for effective tools for the professional development of personnel, which include contests of professional excellence. The study studied the main goals and objectives of national and all-Russian professional competitions, assessed the regulatory impact of the regional competition «Irkutsk Hospitality» implemented in the Irkutsk region in the period 2012–2023. The increasing role of professional competitions held at the federal and regional level in the formation of competitive professionals (managers, mentors, receptionists (administrators), waiters, room service specialists (maids) and others), establishing a constructive dialog of parties interested in the development of accommodation services (hotel services), promotion of tourist areas. Recommendations aimed at strengthening the regulatory impact of regional competitions of professional excellence were developed, related to holding municipal stages of the competition in the territory of the Irkutsk region, expanding the number of participants and stakeholders, organizing the discussion of problematic issues within the framework of the competition (round tables, etc.), including the competition in the number of recognizable events in the region.

A REVIEW OF DOMESTIC TOURISM RESILIENCE RESEARCH AGENDA IN AFRICA POST-COVID-19

Domestic tourism emerged as a recovery strategy post-COVID-19. This study sought to identify domestic tourism research agendas in Africa post-COVID-19. Following a document review methodology, data was collected via an electronic search of journal articles on the Web of Science and SCOPUS. A total of 42 articles were reviewed and analysed using thematic analysis. It was established that product development, marketing, resilience, sustainability and measurement of domestic tourism were the main research agendas. Domestic tourism emerged as a complement rather than a substitute for international tourism. The study sets the agenda for African domestic tourism resilience and sustainability research.

THE CURRENT STATE OF THE KAZAKHSTAN TOURIST MARKET

For many developed and developing countries, the tourism sector is the main source of employment, government revenue and foreign exchange earnings. The most important parameters of tourism development in the country are indicators of inbound and outbound tourism. Before the pandemic, both at the republican and regional levels, a lot of work was carried out to attract foreign tourists to Kazakhstan, measures were taken in the field of image policy and popularization of tourist destinations of the country. But many Kazakhstanis prefer to rest abroad, rather than in the resort areas of their homeland. The interrelation of the tourist attractiveness of the country with the category of tourist potential, factors of tourist attractiveness are considered. Tourist attractiveness is based on the tourism potential of the country, contributes to the growth of its competitiveness, the transformation of tourist supply into demand, is associated with various types of its assessment and is the result of its previous development. republic. Tourism activity is influenced by many factors of an economic, political, social, natural and technical nature, including: terrorism, the process of ensuring the safety of tourists, man-made disasters; uneven distribution of tourist flows; political instability in some regions of the world; prolonged global recession; volatility of exchange rates; priority of national rather than international norms in tourism, etc. The negative factors hindering the development of inbound tourism in the country have been identified, recommendations for eliminating existing problems have been proposed. The considered resources and tourist opportunities of Kazakhstan lead to the expediency of forming a modern tourist product. The development of a new tourist product in Kazakhstan would be competitive in the world market of tourist services and would help attract foreign tourists to Kazakhstan. The ways of development of domestic tourism in Kazakhstan, the creation of a competitive tourism industry, including the development of infrastructure and improving the quality of services provided, are proposed.

MECHANISMS FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRITOURISM IN TURKESTAN REGION

The development of agrotourism in the Turkestan region is important for the development of not only the natural resources of rural areas, but also culture, national cuisine, history and traditions of the Kazakh people. This industry belongs to a potential topic that determines the directions of the future development of domestic tourism and agriculture. Agrotourism is a type of tourism that can be organized in rural areas, which in recent years, according to statistics, is in great demand among consumers. This sector is aimed at the economic growth of rural settlements, the preservation of ecosystems and cultural values, the development of territories, as well as providing solutions to issues such as infrastructure, unemployment in rural areas. Definitely, it will be useful to use the experience of European countries in the field of agrotourism for some regions of the Turkestan region. In this regard, the Turkestan region, one of the most developed regions of the country's agriculture, was chosen as the object of study of the scientific article. The goal - is to comprehensively identify the factors of socio-economic potential and propensity of the Turkestan region to agrotourism. Research results - it was found that there are enough resources for the development of agrotourism in this area; it was noted that financial assistance to support some areas of agrotourism is sufficient from local government agencies; recommendations were analyzed and given on which areas have the highest opportunities for the development of agrotourism; the features of agrotourism as a successful tourist destination of agricultural entrepreneurship in general are shown. Conclusions - due to the fact that the agro-tourism resources of the Turkestan region differ from other regions, the task of its professional development arises, for example, in the Almaty region of Kazakhstan, the first mechanisms for the development of agro-tourism have been formed. Consider this, a detailed analysis of the resources of the agro-tourism potential of the region was carried out in the scientific work.

The tourism sector is the most important for the socio-economic development of countries and regions, contributing to the preservation of historical and cultural values, the formation of humanism and tolerance in the world. However, there are many difficulties in the tourism business that have become seriously exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic and contribute to a rethinking of the problems and factors of tourism development. In Russia, since 2020, the focus has been on the development of domestic tourism, and this further contributed to the restoration and maintenance of a certain stability in this area, which is especially important during the period of aggravation of the geopolitical situation in Russia and the world, from 2022 to the present. Nevertheless, the issues of barriers to the development of tourism in our country remain relevant, taking into account the ideas, orientations and practices of both tour operators and consumers of tourism services, which actualizes sociological research in this aspect. In order to identify the existing barriers and factors for the successful development of tourism in Russia, the authors conducted a sociological study in 2021 among tourism specialists who acted as experts and represent authorities, tourism business and science in Russian and foreign regions. The study was conducted in a qualitative strategy using the in-depth interview method, during which 31 experts were interviewed. The results of the expert survey may be useful in the further development of the tourism industry in the Russian regions.
