Sistem Informasi Pengurusan Surat Pengantar Berbasis Framework Codeigniter Guna Meningkatan Kualitas Pelayanan kepada Masyarakat

The guide letter has an important role in the administration of population administration at the village level. The letter of introduction is a proof of recognition from the Chairman of RT, RW and Village Office Chairman against the residents domiciled in the area. The management of guide letter and residents' domicile data in Bandasari Village has not been well managed. The data of introductory letters and immigrants are still managed and stored in each Chariman RT. In this research, developed Information System of Guidance Letter Handling Village Management Bandasari aims to manage data introduction letter and data of immigrants in the village Bandasari. System development using System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method with waterfall process model and blackbox testing method. Based on the tests conducted, it is known that the system will be developed to assist fast the People, Chairman of RT, RW and Village chief in managing the data of guidace letters and migrant residents data, because data saved in one database and can be access by user.

Healthcare information system using cloud security

Almost all the human living in Earth forgets to take care of their health. To say specifically, the elder ones and the younger ones need con-tinuous examination to note down the variation in their health issues (either improvement or a decrement). This can be achieved through the digitalization of the data. In the present day scenario information security and privacy in healthcare systems is an issue that is growing at alarming rate. The espousal of digital records of the patient, the enlarged order, provider integration and the growing need to exchange in-formation between patients, providers and payers each targets at the necessity for a developed information system. Inspite of so many measures taken to prevent the theft of patient's healthcare records offenders find some loophole or the other to get the records. This article strives to list certain health issues faced by a majority of people, threats to HIS, the method adopted to store huge amount of data and measures to prevent security threats.

DEVELOPMENT OF DYNAMIC MODEL OF FORMING INVESTMENT VALUE OF RESOURCES IN INFORMATION SYSTEMS OF INTEGRATED SERVICE NETWORKS

The object of research is the investment value of pricing policy, maximizing investment profit in the developed information system. One of the most problematic places is determining the cost of adjusting the input investment resource taking into account the dynamic correcting element, the component of the variable time and the basic investment resource. When characterizing the invariability of fluctuations in business cycles, the key problem is limiting the provision and consumption of the initial value of investment resources and the complexity of differential adjustment of factors of production. And also the application of the method of linear multithreaded modeling of the investment process of the cost of an information resource allows to differentially regulate the change in the price of an information resource, both the initial cost of consumption, and the adjustment of the investment value of assets.In the course of the research, the approach of linear modeling of the amount of receiving and supply of information resources in the dynamic investment process model is used, it allows to eliminate fluctuations in the cost of the investment process in cost and payback.A three-stage procedural model for calculating the cost of an information resource in a dynamic investment process with the ability to view the price and regulate the volume of the cost of supply and consumption is obtained.The economic content of the price policy is developed for a situation in which the network opportunity is tightly limited by the price of consumption, volume and cost and also, if the network operator evaluates the services without considering a possible limitation and in the case of guaranteeing the information system service, when the information system can’t meet the performance requirements. In this case, the obtained strategy shows that the enterprise information system should contain the ability to dynamically regulate the volume of consumption, provide information resources and dynamically regulate the investment component of the value of assets.The selectivity of this approach in the complex dynamics of the investment value of the information system contains an incomplete estimate of this type of product. Therefore, there should be a scheme of constant revision of its cost, which contains a dynamic component of the investment value of the information system.

Corporate environmental information system data storage development and management (Environmental Information System)

Abstract In this article a software implementation of the environmental monitoring is developed and presented, which is responsible for receive, store, process and analysis of data. For logical database design system Computer- Aided Software Engineering (CASE) technology, the AllFusion ERwin Data Modeler was selected. To develop corporate Oracle database management system used. The database contains a set of objects, which store all the primary and additional service information, as well as a set of software modules of business logic. The developed information system makes it possible to find optimal solutions for clean and disposal of the contaminated areas. There are advantages of created databases on the areas to be remediated, such as the analysis of remediation made by using plants.

Development of an Information System for Reducing the Volume of Text Information in the Process of Information Search

В статье рассматривается возможность применения пользователями специализированных алгоритмов для информационной системы, обеспечивающей сжатие анализируемой текстовой информации в процессе информационного поиска. Актуальность работы обосновывается сложностью информационного поиска, связанного с решением пользователем конкретной задачи и необходимостью переработки больших объемов текстовых данных. Целью является сокращение объема анализируемой текстовой информации русскоязычных текстов при сохранении их смысловой составляющей. Определены основные функциональные узлы разрабатываемой информационной системы. Модуль поиска совпадений формирует текст, состоящий из нескольких абзацев, содержащих заданные пользователем поисковые словосочетания. Данный текст по объему намного меньше исходного текста и отражает искомую пользователем информацию. Модуль сжатия представляет собой итерационную процедуру, позволяющую дополнительно уменьшить объем текста, выделенный пользователем для анализа. В предлагаемом подходе каждому слову предложения присваивается оценка, определяемая на основе ряда критериев. Разработан графический интерфейс пользователя, имеющий компактные размеры и удобную компоновку элементов. В результате применения описываемого подхода достигается существенное уменьшение объема текстовой информации, обрабатываемой пользователем в процессе информационного поиска. Для большего сокращения объема информации в дальнейшем предполагается проведение разработки модуля сжатия текста и его практическая реализация.

Information Processing for Generating Recommendations Ahead of Time in an IoT-Based Environment

The evolution of Internet of Things (IoT) has significantly contributed to the development of the sensing enterprise concept and to the use of appropriate information systems for real-time processing of sensor data that are able to provide meaningful insights about potential problems in a proactive way. In the current article, the authors outline a conceptual architecture and describe the system design requirements for deciding and acting ahead of time with the aim to address the Decide and the Act phases of the “Detect-Predict-Decide-Act” proactive principle, which are still underexplored areas. The associated developed information system is capable of being integrated with systems addressing the Detect and the Predict phases in an Event Driven Architecture (EDA).

The Development of Industrial Work Practice Monitoring by Using �Simorin� at Vocational High School

Vocational High School graduates are expected to have work experience in industry and ready to enter the workforce. Industrial work practice (Prakerin) is a learning program that must be implemented by students in the industrial world. Prakerin program is organized together between school and the world of work to meet the students' need for competencies that are unworkable in schools. There are still major obstacles in monitoring the implementation of Prakerin due to distance and time problems. These constraints are expected to be solved using information system.This research and development aims to produce an effective and effective information system on industrial work practice monitoring to be used in vocational high school. This study developed information system named "Simorin" which is an acronym of the Industrial Work Practice Monitoring Information System. The method used in the study was research and development (R & D). Stages in this study included analysis phase, data requirement by using literature study and field study. The test phase was performed with validation and revision followed by a limited trial of Simorin products.Based on the development, test and analysis, it can be concluded that Simorin was feasible and effective for use in Prakerin monitoring process in terms of usability. Students, Teachers and industries could communicate with each other in real time. Recommendation of further development of Simorin is that it can be integrated with distance learning (e-learning).

Создание историко-ориентированных информационных систем является одной из ключевых задач развития информационной среды исторической науки. Информационная система «Гласные губернских земских собраний» призвана стать инструментом для решения целого спектра научно-исследовательских задач. Просопографический анализ гласных губернских земских собраний второй половины XIX в. является ключевым звеном в изучении земского представительства. Разрабатываемая информационная система призвана также представлять инструментарий для иных научных целей, а также решать задачи более общего информационно-справочного плана и использоваться в образовательном процессе. Создание историко-ориентированных информационных систем является одной из ключевых задач развития информационной среды исторической науки. Информационная система «Гласные губернских земских собраний» призвана стать инструментом для решения целого спектра научно-исследовательских задач. Просопографический анализ гласных губернских земских собраний второй половины XIX в. является ключевым звеном в изучении земского представительства. Разрабатываемая информационная система призвана также представлять инструментарий для иных научных целей, а также решать задачи более общего информационно-справочного плана и использоваться в образовательном процессе.

AUTOMATION OF ACCOUNTING THE NUMERIC PARTS AND UNITS AT MANUFACTURING ENTERPRISES

Objectives. The substantiation of the need and disclosure of the substantive and technological features of the design and development of an information system for the registration of numeric parts and units at a manufacturing enterprise. Methods. Case-technology,object-oriented programming. Results. The development mechanism of an information system for registering numeric parts and units at a manufacturing enterprise is described. The development process begins with an analysis of the subject area, wherein the requirements for the information system are defined. Two business processes related to the activity of the production preparation engineer are identified and the entities and types of these attributes are indicated. Using the case-tool DBdesigner 4, a data scheme is constructed and code is generated for scripts used to create a database in the SQL language. The database is implemented on MySQL. The web-interface of the information system is designed: website scheme, action sequence diagram, website logical structure and layout. The resulting data scheme is implemented within MySQL data base management system (DBMS) and a web-based system interface developed using object-oriented programming using Notepad ++ text editor. The web-interface allows a multi-user working mode to be provided with the information system. The separation of basic and summary data among different tabs is performed in order to simplify the work of personnel and minimise the human factor associated with the processing of disparate data. The requirements to be met by the developed information system are defined.All software used in the development process is free. Conclusion. The selection of software tools for the development of a system for accounting of numeric parts and units at a manufacturing enterprise is implemented, allowing the conceptual, logical and physical design of a database – as well as its web interface – to be developed. All stages for creating an information system were realised.

Framework Design and Development of Information System for Student Work Management in Colleges and Universities

This paper has designed and developed information system for student work management in colleges and universities for the demand of student management work in one city. First, elaborate and analyze the demand of information system for student work management in colleges and universities, including system overview, data description, functional demand, operation condition and system performance etc, describe the design program of system and then describe external design, database design and user interface design of each module; last, introduce the functional realization of system, test each functional index of system through practical application in one university in one city. Test results have shown that the adoption of this system realizes zero distance communication between students, teachers and school, realize deep and extensive implementation of students ideological and political education work, make information management of student work more orderly, forbidden students’ violation of discipline indirectly and improve the working efficiency.

Development of the model and method of selecting the description of rational architecture of information system

The results of research of the model and method of selecting the description option of the rational architecture of the developed information system are considered. The method of synthesis of description options of the architecture of the developed IS based on the CLOPE algorithm is proposed. The following is developed: a) formal descriptions of the functions of the Provider's and the Customer's objectives that maximize the degree of satisfaction of their functional requirements to IS; b) the game-theoretic model of selecting the option of description of the rational architecture of the developed information system, which is a bimatrix noncooperative game of the IT service Provider and Customer; c) the method of finding a solution to the game of the Provider and the Customer to select the option of description of the rational architecture of the developed information system based on pure strategies by finding the Nash equilibrium point, which is a sequence of actions aimed at finding the option of description of the architecture of the developed IS, which to the greatest extent meets the Provider's and the Customer's requirements. The proposed solutions allow considering the process of designing the architecture of the developed IS as the decision-making problem of selecting the rational option of description of the architecture of the given system. The initial data for solving this problem are formal descriptions of the knowledge obtained from the descriptions of the system requirements. In the course of solving this problem, it is proposed to synthesize a set of descriptions of the architecture of the developed IS on the basis of formal descriptions of knowledge about individual requirements. Then, it is suggested to select an option in the set that to the greatest extent meets the expectations of the Provider and the Customer of the developed system. This approach to designing the architecture of the developed IS is unique in current research and existing requirements management systems. The formal descriptions of the functions of the Provider's and the Customer's objectives, game-theoretic model and method allow automating the process of designing the architecture of the developed information system. This is achieved through the development of formal models and methods, describing the operations of forming the representations of IS requirements on the knowledge level, synthesis of a set of the architecture description options on the basis of the generated representations of requirements and selection of the description option of the rational architecture of the developed IS. These methods allow transition from the synthesis of descriptions of the information system as a plurality of individual functional requirements to the synthesis of a unified description of the information system, taking into account the overlapping of individual functional requirements. This will improve the system-wide effect of the developed system through harmonizing the descriptions of individual functions of this system in the early stages of its life cycle. The developed model and method, as well as information system development tools on their basis, allow unifying and simplifying the processes of pre-project survey and design of information systems. This, in turn, reduces the time and cost to implement IT projects of development and upgrading of information systems. In addition, the use of the developed methods allows adapting the Provider's previous solutions to the peculiarities of the Customer's new requirements.

CONSTRUCTION OF SYSTEMS OF PROTECTION FROM UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS FOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS TAMPER LOCATED IN THE INDUSTRIAL USE

The article discusses the question of construction of the systems of protection against unauthorized access to information systems that are in commercial operation. It offers two concepts of development of the system from unauthorized access with minimal modifications in the already developed information system. As a means of building an effective system of protection in the process means of careful monitoring of access database DBMS Oracle (Fine Grained Access Control) are used. Depending on the size of the source database and the possibility to modify the table structure of the information system it is offered to use one or the other method for constructing a system of protection against unauthorized access. Developed protection system is relatively indepen- dent module that can be implemented in as needed.

Design and Implementation of an Information System to Support Quality Management in Small and Medium Scale Enterprises

Success of a quality management system in the ISO 9001:2008 certified small and medium scale enterprises (SMEs) were conquered by effective practice of ISO 9001:2008 procedures at all levels. The advantages contributed by ISO 9001: 2008 for the small and medium scale enterprises were focused in this study. When ISO 9001:2008 certified small and medium scale enterprises were assisted with an information system (DSS-EII) to create awareness and govern, then it results in improvement of the quality throughout the enterprise. In this study an information system was developed to facilitate the automation in documenting ISO forms and records, to identify the bottleneck regions and to provide the solution to overcome the predicted quality issues. It was found that the information system assisted to understand and achieve maximum benefits of ISO 9001:2008. The information system provided appropriate solution to the quality problems via Back Propagation Neural network (BPN). Developed information system was integrated to enterprises resource planning software used in the enterprise. Inputs were given to information system from daily records and enterprises resource planning database. Data were shifted to all the necessary ISO forms and records with necessary computation. Few data updating in ISO forms was accepted only when actual value was greater than or equal to and predefined target value. The developed information system performs function like documenting automation and provides solutions to be followed to solve an issue. This research work introduces a new system to facilitate QMS practices in SMEs and provides relevant solutions for frequently occurring problems using back propagation neural network. The proposed methodology assures integrated assistance, employees training, documentation automation and comfortable working environment.

DATA MODELLING SOLUTION FOR REFLECTIVE ePORTFOLIO SYSTEM

An importance of creating of efficacious information systems, which would enhance learning outcomes, leads to development of appropriate models.Modelling process with further validation and verification of developed information system or technological solution is essential. This paper displays the considerations and efforts made to work out such model in a form of reflection stimulating and learning outcomes enhancing ePortfolio information system. The authors introduce architecture of developed system from a view of used technologies, system’s algorithmic model and data model, as well its approbation results in Living Lab.

Automated information system for instrument-data processing of the regional seismic observation network of FEB RAS

This paper considers the architecture and program implementation of the automated information system Signal-S. Based on the example of the FEB RAS observation network, it provides a comprehensive solution for the organization of seismological networks and instrumental data preprocessing. The developed information system is considered as a base platform for multipurpose FEB RAS observation science data integration, for research and natural-hazard monitoring on the Russian Far East.

ОЦІНКА ЕФЕКТИВНОСТІ ЗБОРУ СТАТИСТИЧНИХ ДАНИХ В ЕНЕРГЕТИЧНІЙ ГАЛУЗІ

The paper highlights shortcomings of current information system of energy statistics in Ukraine. The study describes the mechanism of automated statistical data collection in energy complex and estimates introduction efficiency of such system. Developed information system of energy statistics makes it possible to form the statistical report by different profiles in energy.

Performance evaluation of public hospital information systems by the information system success model.

ObjectivesThis study was to evaluate the performance of the newly developed information system (IS) implemented on July 1, 2014 at three public hospitals in Korea.MethodsUser satisfaction scores of twelve key performance indicators of six IS success factors based on the DeLone and McLean IS Success Model were utilized to evaluate IS performance before and after the newly developed system was introduced.ResultsAll scores increased after system introduction except for the completeness of medical records and impact on the clinical environment. The relationships among six IS factors were also analyzed to identify the important factors influencing three IS success factors (Intention to Use, User Satisfaction, and Net Benefits). All relationships were significant except for the relationships among Service Quality, Intention to Use, and Net Benefits.ConclusionsThe results suggest that hospitals should not only focus on systems and information quality; rather, they should also continuously improve service quality to improve user satisfaction and eventually reach full the potential of IS performance.

Moving the Work System Theory Forward

Alter (2013) proposes the work system theory (WST) as the transformation of previously developed information system (IS) artifacts: the work system method (WSM), the work system framework, and the work system life cycle (WSLC). This transformation of IS artifacts into theory suggests a new set of questions regarding how we conceptualize theory and how it relates to the evaluation of IS artifacts. We conclude that such a transformation can benefit the information systems field if it enables the codification of generalized propositions that can be tested in realistic settings. Indeed, we suggest that this should be the ultimate goal of the construction of methodological IS artifacts such as those underlying the work system approach.

Identifying the writer of ancient inscriptions and Byzantine codices. A novel approach

In this paper, a novel methodology is presented aiming at the automatic identification of the writer of ancient inscriptions and Byzantine codices. This identification can offer unambiguous dating of these ancient manuscripts. The introduced methodology is also applicable to contours of complexes of letters or any class of similar curves. The method presented here initially estimates the normalized curvature at each pixel of a letter contour. Subsequently, it performs pair-wise comparisons of the curvatures sequences that correspond to two realizations of the same alphabet symbol. Then, it introduces a new Proposition that, on the basis of the previous results, offers a closed solution to the problem of matching two equinumerous digital contours in the Least Squares sense. Next, a criterion is employed quantifying the similarity of two realizations of the same alphabet symbol. Finally, a number of statistical criteria are introduced for the automatic identification of the writer of ancient manuscripts. The introduced method did not employ any reference manuscript neither the number of distinct hands who had written the considered set of manuscripts nor any related information whatsoever; it also performs quite efficiently even if a small number of realizations (less than 6) of certain alphabet symbols appear in a tested document. The only a priori knowledge is the alphabet of the language under consideration. We would like to stress that otherwise the method does not depend at all on the language itself. Namely it does not take into account if the alphabet is Latin, Greek, Etruscan, etc. The methodology and the related, developed information system has been applied to 46 ancient inscriptions of the Classical and Hellenistic era and 23 Byzantine codices, offering 100% accurate results, in the sense that the obtained results are in full agreement with prominent scholars in the field of Archaeology, History and Classical Studies.

Principles of Smart Grids on the generation electrical and thermal energy and control of heat consumption within the District Heating Networks

One part of the process of development and application of methods and principles of Smart Grids in electricity and heat production is numerical modeling and simulation of Power and Heating Plants, Power Systems, and also District Heating Networks. Due to the venue of the IFAC Congress this paper deals with the comparison between Czech and South Africa. Similarity is given by the fact, that basic fuel is coal. In the Czech Republic, it is produced 64% of its electricity from coal, mostly lignite (brown), in the heat generation the coal has an even larger share of 90%. In South Africa, it is produced 85% of its electricity from coal (heat is insignificant due to climatic conditions). From this perspective, the Czech Republic and South Africa dealt with similar problems, e.g. using of coal mills, combustion chambers and equipment, whole powdered steam boilers and their optimal intelligent Smart Control. The power and heat source is controlled according to the Daily Consumption Diagrams, which are corrected by the current and predicted weather conditions (air temperature, solar irradiation, wind, rain and frost). For predicting consumption are used methods of classical and artificial intelligence control. Control of electricity and heat is carried out using advanced methods of optimal control, including the different configurations of machine room equipments and the Main Heat Exchangers Station - MHS The developed Information and Control System serves as an on-line support system for the operators and dispatchers and is part of the operating procedures in the implementation of Smart Grid.
