Recently, domestic research and systems on firefighting have not offered countermeasures to reduce the cost of facilities and improve the value of buildings. Therefore, in this study, the status of Value Engineering (VE) performance registered in the Design VE Office of the Construction CALS Portal System of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is analyzed. The analysis showed that on average, 26.1% of professional fire technicians participated in VE performance, and there has only been one proposal for firefighting at the construction stage in six years. The proposal, based on the results of this thesis, requires participation of professional firefighting technicians when performing VE, and it is necessary to improve the process and secure the system in which construction VE is applied.
