Design of Greenhouse Monitoring System Based on Zigbee

To satisfy the requirement of the control parameters in greenhouse, this paper introduced the design scheme of monitoring and control system based on Zigbee due to its low-cost, simplicity and mobility. We designed the sensor node, control node and gateway node based on CC2430, described the design method of hardware circuit and the flow chart of software. By monitoring the environment factors in real time, such as illumination, temperature, humility and carbon dioxide, the spray system, ventilation fans and lighting lamps were automated controlled to satisfy crop growth requirement. The monitoring system is easy to expand and update, and the program interface is friendly to operate.

Research on Synthesis Control Technology for Aircraft Electrical System

The airborne electromechanical system is essential to ensure the aircraft flight and it is most complex system in the aircraft, the aircraft intelligent power supply system and the aircraft electrical system synthesis control is the basis of airborne integrated electromechanical system. The paper gives up the hardware and software compositions and operation features of the aircraft electrical synthesis control system under based on the current situation of science and technology. It expounds the function and structure of PSP, ELMC and RT, the demands of BIT technique and fault tolerant design of electrical power system. It refers design scheme of electrical synthesis control system according to developing trends of aircraft electrical system.

The Research and Design on the Electrical Control System of TG200 Bridge Machine

In this paper the structural characteristics of TG200 bridge machine was introduced, the overall design scheme of control system was determined and the electrical control system, which was mainly made up of PLC, inverter, remote controller and human-machine interface, was designed. Industrial test proved that the control system is stable and easy to operate, and that it can provide an important safeguard for the long-term safe operation of the bridge machine.

The Design of Artificial Intelligence Control System for LED Based on ZigBee and Light Emitting Diode Materials

Due to the defects of traditional LED intelligent control system, the design scheme of artificial intelligence control system for LED based on ZigBee was proposed in this paper, which described the hardware and software design method of the system. The system used STM32 as the core and embedded BP neural network program in LabVIEW software, which can achieve the optimal intelligent control for LED under the LabVIEW development platform through ZigBee wireless network, including the functions of constant intensity of illumination lighting, compensation lighting, adaptive lighting and artistic lighting according with human body visual comfort. The system can be widely used in large lighting place and intelligent household application field.

Study on Integration Management and Control System of Port Cranes

This paper proposes the design scheme of Integration Management and Control System (IMCS) using the integration and optimization design theory of port cranes’ management and control system based on Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and Process Control System (PCS). The functions, interface and software design of the three sub-modules of IMCS are presented. Outcomes of this research are being employed to practical port cranes’ operation and management, which eliminates the island phenomenon of cranes’ storage and application conditions between the management and control department. Hence, IMCS makes the integrated automatic port cranes system come true and it significantly improves the core competitiveness of the port.

Operator-based robust nonlinear control and fault detection for a Peltier actuated thermal process

In this paper, operator-based robust nonlinear control design scheme and fault detection technique using robust right coprime factorization approach are considered for a Peltier actuated thermal process. The Peltier actuated thermal process is a typical nonlinear control affine system, where the process temperature depends not only on input current, but also on the square of the input current. In addition, the real system is likely to contain a fault signal owing to various factors. As a result, it is difficult to stabilize the control system and to achieve high accurate control performance, and to detect the fault signal to guarantee the engineering safety when a fault occurs. In this paper, for pursuing robust stability and tracking performance of the nonlinear closed-loop control system, a design scheme of operator-based robust tracking control system is proposed by using robust right coprime factorization approach. Then, for the tracking operator control system, a fault detection design technique based on robust right coprime factorization approach is also investigated. Finally, simulation and experimental results are given to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The Design and Research of Automatic Tracing Intelligent Vehicle Control System

A kind of design scheme of intelligent vehicle control system based on infrared photoelectric sensor is introduced in this paper.The Freescale 16-bit single chip MC9S12DG128B is used as controller, 13 infrared photoelectric sensors are used for acquiring path information and the PID controll is used for steering control in the system. All these ensure the intelligent vehicle’s independent tracing. To improve the system stability and response speed, a suppressing interference method based on software and a simple and effective filter interference scheme based on hardware are put forward.

Access control system based on dual-core digital signal processor and face recognition

To overcome the shortages of traditional access control system of face recognition, which is of poor stability and low speed, the design scheme of access control system of face recognition based on dual-core Digital Signal Processor ( DSP) was presented. The system structure and software realization technology were discussed. The speed of face recognition was improved through dual-core and code optimization techniques. The experimental results show that the system is of good stability, high recognition rate and high speed, and it is practical.

In this paper, a passivity-based adaptive output feedback control for discrete-time nonlinear systems is considered. Output Feedback Strictly Passive (OFSP) conditions in order to design a stable adaptive output control system will be established. Further, a design scheme of a parallel feedforward compensator (PFC), which is introduced in order to realize an OFSP controlled system, will be provided and an adaptive output feedback control system design scheme with a PFC will be proposed.

Adaptive output feedback sliding-mode manoeuvring and vibration control of flexible spacecraft with input saturation

A dual-stage control system design scheme for rotational manoeuvre and vibration stabilisation of a flexible spacecraft in the presence of uncertainty/external disturbances as well as control input saturation. More precisely, two separate control loops are designed. The first one uses piezoceramics as sensors and actuators to actively suppress certain flexible modes by designing modified positive position feedback compensators which add damping to flexible structures. The second is designed based on an adaptive output feedback sliding-mode control design where control input saturation is explicitly taken into consideration. The attitude controller has the ability to reject the disturbance, deal with uncertainty and to ensure that the system trajectories globally converge to the sliding mode. A modified version is designed for adapting the unknown upper bounds of the lumped perturbations as well. To study the effectiveness of the corresponding control scheme, the traditional adaptive static output feedback control case is also developed for the control system. Both analytical and numerical results are presented to show the theoretical and practical merits of this approach.

Computations of probabilistic output admissible set for uncertain constrained systems

This paper considers uncertain constrained systems, and develops two algorithms for computing a probabilistic output admissible (POA) set which is a set of initial states probabilistically assured to satisfy the constraint. The first algorithm is inspired by an existing randomized sequential technique. The second algorithm alleviates the computational effort based on heuristics. The present algorithms terminate in a finite number of iterations and provide a POA set. Additionally, we can obtain information on the size of the resulting set a posteriori. A numerical simulation demonstrates the applicability of the POA set to a control system design scheme.

A design of multivariable, self‐tuning PID controllers with an internal model structure

AbstractSelf‐tuning control schemes (STC) are useful for systems with unknown or slowly time‐varying parameters. Some single‐input/single‐output PID control schemes based on STCs have been proposed for such systems. However, there are a lot of multivariable systems in real process industries. And these systems often have relatively large time delays. In this paper, a design scheme of self‐tuning PID control system is proposed for multivariable systems with unknown parameters and time delays. The controlled object is equipped with an internal model in order to compensate the time delay and also unstable zeros. Subsequently, a multivariable PID controller is designed for the augmented or compensated system. The PID parameters are calculated recursively based on the relationship between the minimum variance control law and the PID control law. A simulation example is presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. A Design Scheme of PID Control Systems Using a GA and a GMDH Network.

PID control scheme has been widely used in most process control system. Because the PID controller has a simple structuer, and have three parameters at the most. However, since it is difficult to determine suitable parameters, a lot of researches have been reported with respect to tuning scheme of PID parameters. In this paper, a design scheme of PID control system using a GMDH (Group Method of Data Handling) network and a genetic algorithm (GA) is proposed. Furthermore, the effectivness of the newly proposed scheme is evaluated on a simulation example.

An entire strategy for precise system tracking control of a revolving thin flexural link, part I: Finite element modeling and direct tuning controller design

An entire control strategy including a design based model, controller design, and system output modification for a distributed parameter system is illuminated by application to feedback control of a revolving thin flexural link. In Part I, a very realizable actuator and a sensor, which uses a motor and a tachometer, are applied to design the control system. The finite element modeling and the state space representation are obtained for the purpose of control system analysis and computer simulation. Instead of relying on parameter identification subroutines, a controller design based on directly tuning the parameter of the gain makes the closed-loop absolutely stable and good for system tracking control. This control system design scheme is robust, insensitive to system parameter changes, and this algorithm cannot depend on traditionally priori knowledge such as the system dimension, exact model, or observer design. The performance included in the presence of all the high frequency dynamics can be effectively shown through the computer simulation, and one is led to speculate that this design scheme may perform quite well in the real world implementation.

A Design of Intelligent Control Systems Constructed by CMACS Using the Lagrangian Interpolation

Abstract Cerebellar Model Articulation Controller (CMAC) has been proposed as one of artificial neural networks. This paper describes a design scheme of intelligent control system consists of some CMACs. Each of CMACs is trained for the specified command signal. For unspecified command signals, the Lagrangian interpolation scheme is employed for the trained CMACs. Therefore, since the command signals are removed from the input signals of the CMAC, the proposed intelligent controller can be designed with relatively small memories.

Reconfigurable Control System Synthesis Using Parameter Estimation and Robust Control

Abstract A new design scheme of a Reconfigurable Control System (RCS) based on a bounding parameter estimation scheme and the parametric robust control method is proposed in this paper. The main advantage of this approach over the existing ones is that it allows the systen designers to integrate the Fault Detection and Isolation (FDI) schemes with the reconfigurable control at the control system design stage. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme, an illustrative example is presented. The simulation results indicate that the proposed scheme has some distinctive features which are potentially useful in the development of a truly Fault Tolerant Control System (FTCS).

Adaptive Pole-Placement Control for Pneumatic Servo Systems.

In pneumatic servo systems, it is difficult to achieve high positioning accuracy using PID or optimal control methods, because the change in load mass and air compressibility causes parameter variation of the plant. In this paper, to enhance the positioning accuracy of pneumatic servo systems, we propose design scheme of the adaptive pole-placement control system. This plant consists of a pneumatic cylinder which is sealed by labyrinth packing, supported by air bearings and driven by two electro-pneumatic proportional valves. The Coulomb friction of the cylinder is negligible. Therefore, we consider only the influence of static friction. The feature of this design scheme is that an approximate integral compensator is introduced in order to eliminate the influence of constant disturbance caused by static friction
