The Design and Test of Durability Test Platform for Small Scale Electromotor

In order to testing the parameters changing of electromotor during the lifecycle, the test platform is designed. For different equipment, the controller of the test platform can simulate different real load of electromotor. During test, the controller can not only acquisition some basic parameters of the electromotor, such as voltage, current, temperature, rotate speed, but also protect the test platform when one parameter exceed setting value. The test platform test a electromotor. The result show that the test platform can simulate real load of the electromotor, can display and store all parameters of electromotor, can find the weak point during the whole lifecycle.

The Design of a Vibration Reduction Test Platform of the Rigid Hinge Expansion Joint of Jiashao Bridge

The temperature deformation of Jiashao Bridge is a serious problem. In order to solve this problem effectively, a kind of rigid hinge structure is adopted in the middle of the bridge. Unit sparse plate bridge expansion joint for multi-direction-displacement is installed on the rigid hinge of this bridge. Vibration reduction tests are needed to verify the performance of the expansion joint and the service condition of the bridge structure. In this paper, a finite element analysis of the rigid hinge expansion joint is performed and a vibration reduction test platform is designed.

Design of Locomotive Network Test Platform Based on WorldFIP

This article describes the design of locomotive network test platform based on WorldFIP both hardware and software perspective. Design and Implementation of Development and Testing Platform for Airbag Control System

In the late-stage of designing an airbag control system, a lot of collision experiments should be done to verify the performance of the system, but collision experiments cost a lot of time and money. In this paper, we design a new development and testing platform that can generate multi-channel acceleration analog signals and provide multi-channel airbag ignition interfaces. The platform receives the acceleration data customized on PC via a USB interface, then, the PC issues a command to start the output of the acceleration waveforms. The airbag ignition interface has the same electrical characteristics with real airbag, when it receives an ignition current, the platform will ignite the virtual airbag, and record the time. The experimental results show that the platform designed in this paper can precisely simulate the acceleration waveforms collected in collision experiments.

Experiences using Tedeso: an extensible and interoperable model-based testing platform

The integration of novel software quality assurance tools into existing development environments must be performed in ways that leverage the benefits of the tools while minimizing their impact on existing software processes. This supports the adoption of new methodologies with minimal interference into core business practices. This paper discusses the design of Tedeso, an extensible and interoperable model-based testing platform developed to facilitate the automatic generation of tests, while supporting the needs of different stakeholders in a diverse and broad organization. We discuss Tedeso key design characteristics, in particular its extensibility and interoperability, provided through the use of a workflow-driven service-oriented architecture, and show how it has enabled and facilitated the adoption of model-based testing techniques in different business units in different sectors within SIEMENS. We also discuss some issues that come from the adoption of service-oriented architectures, showing how they have been managed in our platform.

Design, Fabrication and Characterization of a Gas Processing Unit Testing Platform for Micro-Solid Oxide Fuel Cells

Micro-scale solid oxide fuel cell is a promising power generation technology for portable devices such as laptop, medical devices and personal electronics. One of the key goals in design of μ-SOFC systems is to use common hydrocarbon fuels such as propane/butane, which requires an additional micro-scale gas-processing unit (GPU) to reform the fuel, avoiding the coking on the μ-SOFC membranes. However, no integrated micro-fabricated testing platform has been reported for evaluating the stability, thermal management and efficiency of GPU devices as far. Therefore we present such a GPU testing platform, which features integrated heating function and temperature control as well as convenient and reliable fluidic and mechanical interconnects.

The Design and Applied Research of Robot Performance Testing Platform

A robot performance testing platform is designed and implemented to aid the production and study of the competition robot. The underlying design principle, the mechanical structure, hardware and the data acquisition system software, as well as the PC data processing and display software which make up the testing platform are introduced. The applications of the platform in robot performance testing, track race and the gait planning of humanoid robot are stated, and the future research direction and difficulties of the platform are identified. Adaptive Fuzzy PID Designed for Solenoid Valve Test System

The performance of solenoid valve is directly related to the security and reliability of industrial system. This paper presents the design of the automatic test platform for solenoid valve. The architecture of the hydraulic subsystem and the control model of providing precise pressure for testing solenoid valve were built up. A self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller, which can dynamically modify the controller’s parameters by using fuzzy rules presented in this paper, was designed with considering the dynamic characteristics of hydraulic system. Simulation results show that the self-adaptive fuzzy PID controller, which compared with conventional PID controller, can obtain better dynamic performance and fast response.
