Developing an admittance index system to standardize clinical nursing teacher training based on competency model

Objective To develop an admittance index system for the clinical nursing teachers to standardize nurse training based on competency model. Methods Totally 8 experts in nursing management and education and clinical nursing teachers from Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University were selected for consultation from December 2016 to December 2017 using purposive sampling. The admittance index system of clinical nursing teachers for standardized nurse training was drafted by literature analysis taking competency model as the theoretical basis. Delphi expert consultation method was used for expert consultation. Results The experts' authority coefficient (Cr) was 0.816, and the Kendall's W of their opinions was 0.429 (P<0.01) . The developed admittance index system of clinical nursing teachers for standardized nurse training included 5 primary indexes and 17 secondary indexes. Conclusions The higher the Cr, the more reliable the results are. The admittance index system provides a standard for the proper selection and accurate evaluation of clinical nursing teachers in standardized nurse training. Constructionof the militaryandlocal integration course of "Field and Disaster Nursing"based on Delphi method

Objective To construct aField and Disaster Nursing course which is suitable for the military and local higher nursing education, on-the-job and post training education to organic integrate the modern disaster nursing teaching and military field nursing teaching. Methods Based on the methods of qualitative and quantitative research, such as literature research, interviews and observational method, a preliminary plan of curriculum design was established, and an expert consultation table was designed.The Delphi expert consultation method was used to conduct two rounds of consultation with 30 related experts on disaster relief.Quantitative data were obtained and statistical data were analyzed. Results The final screening results of the curriculum content applicability index are 4 first grade, and 23 for the two level.A set of Field and Disaster Nursing curriculum had been set up that is suitable for education and training needs of the military and local fusion. Conclusion The construction of this course provides a training thought for exploring disaster nursing education suitable for China's national conditions, and has reference and guiding significance for further implementation of military and civilian integration and multi participatory disaster nursing teaching practice. Construction of nursing intervention scheme for stroke incontinence by Delphi

Objective To construct nursing program for incontinence patients with cerebral apoplexy, in order to reduce the incidence of incontinence and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. Methods Using the methods of literature review, theoretical analysis and clinical practice, the first draft of the urinary incontinence nursing intervention program for stroke was formulated. Through Delphi expert consultation method, the dimensions, indicators, and entries of the incontinence nursing intervention for stroke were finally determined. The weight coefficient of the index at all levels was established by hierarchy method. Results A total of 14 experts were selected for stroke, nursing, rehabilitation and urology. The positive coefficient of the two rounds of expert consultation questionnaire was 1.0. The authority coefficient were 0.873 and 0.893 respectively. The expert coordination coefficient tests were all P<0.01. The identified stroke urinary incontinence nursing intervention program includes 5 dimensions, 10 secondary indicators, and 37 tertiary items. Conclusions Nursing intervention program of urinary incontinence after stroke is formed by scientific method. The expert opinion is consistent, which could provide reference for clinical practice. Construct a safety implementation process of domiciliary subcutaneous injection of biological agents in the department of rheumatology

Objective To ensure the effectiveness and safety of domiciliary subcutaneous injection of biological agents, a safety implementation process was constructed for the treatment of patients with rheumatic diseases by domiciliary subcutaneous injection of biological agents. Methods Based on analyzing the existing clinical work and consulting the relevant documents, using Delphi expert consultation method, 10 experts and 30 patients were treated with 2 rounds of questionnaire to conduction. Results After 2 rounds of expert consultation, the safety implementation process was developed, including 7 items and 27 sub-items. The positive coefficient of the experts was 100% and 90% respectively, the authority coefficient was 0.84, and the sub projects coordination coefficient was 0.454. Conclusions On the clauses in the safety implementation process of the domiciliary subcutaneous injection of biological agents in the Department of rheumatism which constructed with the Delphi method, experts opinions was consistence, having high credibility of the research results. By systematically managing the home patients who receiving the injective biological agents, transferring the part of the simple treatment from the hospital to the home was acceptance, the effectiveness and safety of domiciliary injection was improved. Research on energy conservation and emissions reduction based on AHP-fuzzy synthetic evaluation model: A case study of tobacco enterprises

How to evaluate the effect of tobacco industry's technical measures for energy conservation and emissions reduction is important to promote the application of advanced technology. Motived by this purpose, this study applies the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method to construct a comprehensive index and use the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Delphi expert consultation method to determine weights of indicators. Furthermore, the comprehensive evaluation of nine core energy-saving technical measures of tobacco industry is made. The results show that, the comprehensive performance of refrigeration system's optimized technique energy efficiency index is the best, which is 0.73, followed by air conditioning system and lighting system, which are 0.62 and 0.60, respectively. These results may provide insightful support for decision makers to promote the energy conservation and emissions reduction of tobacco industry.

Investigation of applying Delphi method to build the non-power influence evaluation index system of nursing manager

Objective To construct an index system for evaluating the non-power influence of nursing managers, to provide scientific theoretical basis for cultivating and improving the non-power influence of nursing managers. Methods The literature review, in-depth interview, questionnaire survey were used to develop the initial formation of nursing managers non-power influence evaluation index entries.The Delphi expert consultation method was applied to carry out two rounds of questionnaires to 30 experts. Results After two rounds of expert consultation, the evaluation index system of nursing managers non-power influence, which contained 3 primary indexes, 6 secondary indexes, 27 tertiary indexes were formed. Conclusions During the consultation process, the experts have high recognition and coordination, and the consultation results are reliable.This index system can be used to objectively and scientifically evaluate the non-power influence of nursing managers and provide scientific basis for the training and training of nursing managers. Development of risk assessment tool for unplanned readmission within one year after colorectal cancer surgery in patients under enhanced recovery after surgery mode

Objective To construct a risk assessment tool of unplanned readmission within 1 year after colorectal cancer surgery in patients under enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) mode. Methods A total of 446 patients who were treated in Gastrointestinal Surgery Department of West China Hospital and had been followed up for one year from January 2010 to May 2013 were selected as the research subjects by purposive sampling method. Logistic regression was adopted to analyze the influencing factors of unplanned readmission in colorectal cancer patients under ERAS. Through literature review and retrospective case control study, the risk assessment index of unplanned readmission for 1 year after colorectal cancer surgery in ERAS mode was drawn up, and the index selection and weight assignment were carried out by Delphi expert consultation method. Results The result of Logistic regression analysis showed that complications before first admission was the influencing factor of unplanned readmission in colorectal patients under ERAS (OR=2.91) . The recovery rates of the two rounds of expert consultation were 100%, the expert authority coefficient was 0.91, and the expert consultation coordination coefficient was 0.361 (χ2=32.711, P<0.001) . Four items of risk assessment indexes were established after two rounds of expert consultation, including: complications before surgery, emergency admission, advanced age and postoperative abnormalities. Conclusions The risk assessment tool for unplanned readmission within one year after colorectal cancer surgery in patients under ERAS mode was constructed with high reliability. It can be used to assess the unplanned readmission risk of patients with colorectal cancer, but its clinical applicability needs to be further verified. Research about evaluation index system of home treatment quality for chronic wound patients with negative pressure therapy

Objective To study the evaluation index system for home treatment quality of negative pressure therapy. Methods Two-round Delphi expert consultation method was used to consult 20 experts, so as to initially establishthe quality evaluation index system. Results An evaluation index system for home treatment quality of negative pressure therapy was formed, including 4 items of primary indexes, 13 items of secondary indexes and 30 items of tertiary indexes. Conclusions The evaluation index system for home treatment quality of negative pressure therapy in patients with chronic wounds has a clear hierarchy, the reliability of the research results is high, which provides a standardized reference for the objective evaluation of the work and the continuous improvement of nursing quality. The construction of evaluation system for academic medical doctoral dissertation

Objective To explore and establish a kind of dissertation evaluation system which can fully reflects the characteristics of academic medical doctoral training. Methods 41 medical doctoral dis-sertation evaluation systems and related literatures were collected, to get the current situation of this disser-tation evaluation system in our country and find the key points of various evaluation systems. A question-naire survey was conducted among 350 doctoral supervisors coming from 6 universities so as to define the framework and connotation of evaluation indicators. Using the Delphi expert consultation method, the con-notation of evaluation indicators and composition as well as the weight of various indicators was improved. Results The doctoral supervisors who participated in the research considered that building the disserta-tion e-valuation system should follow the principle of science, innovation and fairness, and the evaluation frame-work should have secondary index and evaluation elements. The evaluation contents concluded choosing topic, literature review, basic theory and professional knowledge, paper writing, innovation, re-search ability and academic morals and so on. And on the basis of this, the paper explored and developed a more scientific and comparative dissertation quality evaluation system with medical specialty. Conclusion The cultivation u-nits should take the educational goal of evaluation target and the requirements of awarding degree into consideration, seeking opinions fully to the first-line supervisors and combing quantitative and qualitative evalu-ation effectively with scientific and operable principles when specifying evaluation system. Analysis of TCM single disease nursing quality indicators of cervical spondylosis

Objective To establish traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) dominant disease nursing quality management specification to be suitable for the demand of curative effects of spinal disease cervical spondylosis. Methods The basic frame of cervical spondylosis TCM nursing quality indicators was established using the theory structure of framework-process-result, learning from modern nursing program and based on the literature research method, clinical research and the semi-structured interview method. The Delphi expert consultation and expert argumentation method were used to formulate the final system of cervical spondylosis TCM nursing quality indicators. Results After two rounds of Delphi procedure, cervical spondylosis of TCM nursing quality indicator system was established including the first grade indexes (3 items) , the second grade indexes (21 items) and the third grade indexes (111 items) . Conclusions Establishment of TCM nursing quality indicators of cervical spondylosis provides a standard to specify TCM nursing process and objectively evaluate TCM nursing quality of single disease, and has an important clinical significance. Establishment of family health assessment index system in Shanghai urban communities

Objective To establish a standardized and feasible family health assessment index system based on the family practice system in Shanghai urban communities. Methods On the basis of literature review and special topic discussion, a preliminary index system framework was developed and an expert consultation questionnaire was compiled. Twenty one experts of general practice, medical specialties, health administration and public health management were invited and two rounds of improved Delphi expert consultation were conducted. The results of statistical analysis were summarized and the evaluation index system was established. Results The evaluation index system included 5 first-level indicators, 17 second-level indicators and 63 third-level indicators. The weight coefficients of first-level indicators in basic information, family structure, family function, family resources and health status of the family members were 0.199 6, 0.197 5, 0.201 7, 0.185 0, 0.216 2, respectively. In the two rounds of consultation, the positive coefficient of experts was both 100%, the degree of expert authority was 0.867 and 0.880, and the coordination coefficient was 0.294 and 0.415, respectively (P<0.05). The operational coordination coefficients were 0.320 and 0.402 (P<0.05), respectively. Conclusion The family health assessment index system constructed by the Delphi expert consultation method can provide reference for family doctors to carry out family health assessment in urban communities. Construction of blood sugar monitoring scheme during the perioperative fasting period of patients with orthopedic trauma and dysglycemia

Objective To construct blood sugar monitoring scheme during the perioperative fasting period of patients with orthopedic trauma and dysglycemia. Methods The literature review and qualitative interview methods were used to form the preliminary monitoring scheme from November 2015 to March 2016. Then through the purposive sampling method, 10 experts working in clinical medicine, nursing and nursing management were selected from Shanghai. Delphi expert consultation was applied. Excel and SPSS 19.0 were used for data processing. Coefficient of Cronbach′s α was used to measure the reliability of questionnaire. Results The constructed monitoring scheme included one level-1 item, eight level-2 items and 24 level-3 items. The results of Delphi expert consultation showed that the coefficient of the expert authority was 0.91, the coefficient of variation was between 0 and 0.29, and the coefficient of Kendall′s W was 0.411 (P<0.01) . The reliability of consultation table in two rounds were 0.816 and 0.798. Conclusions The blood sugar monitoring scheme during the perioperative fasting period of patients with orthopedic trauma and dysglycemia, including 1 level-1 item, 8 level-2 items and 24 level-3 items, is constructed. It provids the basis for optimizing the dysglycemia management of patients with orthopedic trauma during perioperative fasting period in future. Admissions nursing path table applied on construction of acute cerebral stroke patients by using Delphi method

Objective To construct hospital admissions of acute cerebral stroke care path table, resulting in the reduction of mortality in patients and disability rate, improving the quality of life of patients. Methods The draft of hospital admissions of acute cerebral stroke care path table had been formed by literature review, group discussion and expert interviews and other methods. The dimension, indexes and items of nursing path had been finally formed though Delphi expert consultation method. Results Two rounds of Delphi expert consultation with 18 experts had been experienced, the effective rate of the two rounds of expert consultation was 100%, the coefficient of expert authority was 0.906, and the coordination coefficient of the experts was P<0.01. The acute stroke admissions nursing path includes 7 dimensions, 24 level two indexes, 54 level three entries had been finally making clear. Conclusions Experts agreed well and formation of brain stroke admissions nursing path table was reliability and practicability. Research and application of diabetes self-management scale

Scale is the basis and quality assurance of investigation research, and a rigorous process is needed to develop a scale. The establishment of the item pool is the first step, then screening these items by using Delphi expert consultation method or statistical methods to establish the scale. At last, the acceptability, validity, reliability and sensitivity of scale should be evaluated. A scale can be widely applied only if it has a good acceptability, validity, reliability and sensitivity. China National Center for Chronic and Non-communicable Disease Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention have developed "the Diabetes Self-management Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior Assessment Scale (DSKAB)" and "the brief version of Diabetes Self-management Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior Assessment Scale (DSKAB-SF) ". These scales provide a set of scientific evaluation tools to diabetes self-management of Type 2 Diabetes with excellent reliability, validity, sensitivity and acceptability.

The construction of permanent colostomy patients with rectal cancer in archives information module content

Objective To construct the permanent colostomy patients with rectal cancer in archives information module content. Methods Using expert meeting, semi-structured interview, literature review, Delphi expert consultation method, establish the system of permanent rectal cancer patients file information specific module. Results In two-round consultation authority coefficient was 0.847. Kendall coordination coefficient (Kendall's W) was 0.195-0.331, the difference had statistical significance (P<0.01); through the expert consultation method to construct the file information module for permanent colostomy patients with rectal cancer, which contained 4 first-level indicators (colostomy patient information module, stoma nursing modules, stoma patients transitional care modules, colostomy patients with network platform module), 11 secondary indicators, 36 third grade indicators. Conclusions This study established file information module content for permanent stoma patients with rectal cancer. It has good scientificity and reliability, and can provide a theoretical basis for the clinical development of a file information system network for transitional care of permanent stoma patients with rectal cancer. Development and validation of the Pre-hospital Stroke Symptoms Coping Test.

Background and PurposeMeasures of specific knowledge of coping with pre-hospital stroke symptoms can help educate high-risk patients and family caregivers. This study aimed to develop and validate the Pre-hospital Stroke Symptoms Coping Test (PSSCT).Materials and MethodsReliability and validity were analyzed using multiple data sources. The Delphi expert consultation method was applied to assess the test’s surface validity and content validity index. The final edition of the 19-item PSSCT contained 3 sections assessing coping with typical symptoms and symptoms associated with vomiting and twitching. Its psychometric properties were investigated in a community sample of 300 high-risk patients and family members.ResultsThe PSSCT was readily accepted by participants. It demonstrated adequate surface validity and content validity, and good internal consistency (KR20 = 0.822) and test-retest reliability (0.769), with difficulty (P) and degree of differentiation (D) ranges of 0.28–0.83 and 0.15–0.66, respectively. It was also able to distinguish between individuals who had/had not experienced a stroke. Experienced individuals scored significantly higher overall and on coping with typical symptoms and twitching (P<0.01).ConclusionsThe PSSCT can practically and directly assess critical knowledge regarding coping with pre-hospital stroke symptoms and has good reliability and validity.

The building of the county level hospital nursing assistance need indicator system in Jiangxi province

Objective To build the county level hospital nursing assistance need indicator system in Jiangxi province.Methods Literature review,qualitative research method and Delphi expert consultation method were adopted to build the county level hospital nursing assistance need indicator system.The indicator system was revised through trial test.Results Two rounds of expert consultation showed that expert authority degree coefficients were 0.79,0.83; Coordination coefficient(Kendall's W) was 0.11～0.16; content experts consistency coefficient was 0.78,reliability Cronbach's α coefficient was 0.85.Through expert advice and pre-examinaion,the county level hospital nursing assistance need indicator system was built,consisting of 3 level Ⅰ indicators,8 level Ⅱ indicators,43 level ⅠⅡ indicators,including assistance contents,assistance ways and assistance time.Conclusions This study established the county level hospital nursing assistance need indicator system with better scientific and feasible characteristics.It can provide experience and guidance for the relevance and effectiveness of the implementation of follow-up care aid work. Formal model for assigning human resources to teams in software projects

Context Human resources play a critical role in software project success. However, people are still the least formalized factor in today’s process models. Generally, people are assigned to roles and project teams are formed on the basis of project leaders’ experience of people, constraints (e.g. availability) and skill requirements. Yet this process has to take multiple factors into account. Few works in the literature model this process. Most of these are informal proposals focusing on the individual assignment of people to project tasks and do not consider other aspects like team formation as a whole. Objective In this paper we formulate a formal model for assigning human resources to software project teams. Additionally, we describe the key results of the knowledge management process enacted to output the elements of the model. Method The model elements were identified using the Delphi expert consultation method and applying psychological tests. The proposed model was implemented in a software tool and validated on two software development organization assignment scenarios. Results We built a formal model for the process of assigning human resources to software project teams. This model takes into account as many factors as possible and aids the assignment of individuals to project roles, as well as the formation of the team as a whole. We found that the rules that were identified to form software development project teams are useful. From the tests we found that model implementation was feasible (all the executions of the implemented problem-solving algorithms output feasible solutions in response times that can be considered as acceptable). Conclusion Using the Delphi method we were able to propose software project roles and competences. Psychological tests and data mining tools identified useful rules for forming software project teams. These were used to build a formal model. This model was built into a tool that returns role assignments in acceptable response times. This decision support tool helps managers assign people to roles and to form teams. Using the tool, project leaders can flexibly evaluate different team make-ups, taking into account several factors, as well as different constraints and objectives.
