A study on the impact of career planning on employability among college students in Hebei Province, China

With the deepening of educational reform in China, higher education has shifted from elite education to mass education, that leading to an annual increase in the number of graduates. However, many college students lack the corresponding competitiveness in the job market. Therefore, enhancing the employability of college students to increase competitiveness has become crucial. Drawing on the Career EDGE employability model as the theoretical framework, this study explores the impact of career planning on employability among college students, with learning attitude as a mediating variable. Through convenient sampling of college students in Hebei Province, China, 430 valid questionnaires were used to empirically test the theoretical hypothesis model. The results indicate that career planning has a direct impact on employability, and learning attitude also has a direct impact on employability. After incorporating learning attitude as a mediating variable, it was found to partially mediate the relationship between career planning and employability.

Occupational Stress and Job Satisfaction of Wushu Teachers in Selected University in Shandong Province

With the continuous development of the country and the deepening of education reform, the society has higher and higher requirements for university students, and the teaching industry has received more and more attention from the society, which not only promotes the development of the teaching industry, but also brings negative impacts to the teaching industry. Therefore, the attention on the occupational stress and job satisfaction of this group of teachers has become imminent. Wushu major as a component of physical education major, the social demand for wushu teachers is also increasing year by year, therefore, the society, schools and individuals give university wushu teachers more and more occupational stress, teachers' job satisfaction is also uneven. In this study, based on a large number of literatures, 126 wushu teachers from 5 universities in Shandong Province were investigated on their occupational stress and job satisfaction by questionnaire method. Occupational stress is studied from five aspects. Education and Teaching, Scientific Research, Personal Development, Organization and Management, and Human Relations. Job satisfaction is studied from five aspects, which are: Working Environment, Interpersonal Environment, Occupational Environment, Occupational Affection, and Occupational Values. SPSS software is used to analyze the data, and it is concluded that wushu teachers in Shandong University have greater occupational stress in "scientific research", and the job satisfaction in the field of "interpersonal relationship environment" is the highest. Meanwhile, combined with the data analysis, it is concluded that occupational stress and job satisfaction are positively correlated. In other words, as occupational stress increases, job satisfaction also tends to increase to some extent, or vice versa. Finally, through the analysis and integration of the five aspects that affect the occupational stress and job satisfaction of university wushu teachers, the solution measures are proposed from the level of individuals, schools and management departments.

Investigation and Analysis of the Application of Efficient Classroom Model in High School Music Appreciation Course

In China, the efficient classroom teaching model is also known as the "6+1" teaching model, which was first applied to cultural courses, such as math, chemistry and English."6+1" refers to the six segments of classroom teaching, including "guide", "think", "discuss", "show", "assess", "check"; the second part is the "1" in the efficient 6+1 model, which is called "use", which is a learning segment carried out in the self-study after class (Ma, 2023). It emphasizes the students' subject position and focuses on cultivating students' independent learning ability and innovative thinking. But whether this teaching mode is suitable for high school music appreciation courses has not yet been researched in a targeted way. The cultivation and improvement of independent learning ability has become an important symbol of deepening teaching reform (Du, 2020). Therefore, the efficient classroom mode was adopted for classroom teaching in the high school music appreciation course, and after four weeks of teaching practice, questionnaires on music learning attitudes, learning styles, and learning goals as the main content were administered to teachers and students respectively. The results of the study showed that after the teaching of the efficient classroom model, teachers were positive about the instructional model, and students' learning attitudes became more positive. Students also listen to more musical works on their own. The results of the study are expected to provide some useful references and lessons for the reform and development of high school music education in China.
