This paper investigates the Micro Electrical Discharge Machining (Micro EDM) of D2 steel and brass as an electrode. In this experimental work, the input process parameters current, voltage, pulse on time and capacitance were selected. The experimental study was conducted on 0.5mm diameter of the hole of the workpiece. The influence of the input process parameters on the Material Removal Rate (MRR), Electrode Wear Rate (EWR), overcut and taper angle were investigated by using design of experiments and regression equations. The experimental results indicates that current is the most significant factor for the effect of MRR, EWR, taper angle and overcut.
