The dependence of the cumulant coefficients of two-component mixtures of shifted non- Gaussian distributions on the weight coefficient is analyzed and conditions are determined under which the cumulant coefficients of any orders are equal to zero. The dependence of the cumulant coefficients of two-component mixtures on the shear parameter is investigated and the parameter values are determined at which the cumulant coefficients of any orders have extrema and zeros. The dependence of the skewness and excess kurtosis of a two-component mixture of shifted Gumbel distributions of type 1 on the weight coefficient and the shear parameter is investigated and their values are obtained at which the skewness and excess kurtosis of the mixture are equal to zero. The features of computer modeling of random variables, the probability density of which is a two-component mixture of shifted distributions, are considered.

Measurement and analysis of regional flood disaster resilience based on a support vector regression model refined by the selfish herd optimizer with elite opposition-based learning

Flood disasters are sudden, frequent, uncertain and highly hazardous natural disasters. The precise identification of the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics, key driving factors and influencing mechanisms of resilience has become a hot spot in disaster risk reduction research. Therefore, the cumulative information contribution rate-Pearson correlation coefficient (CICR- PCC) model is used in this paper to construct a flood disaster resilience index system by quantitative methods, and a support vector regression model refined by the selfish herd optimizer with elite opposition-based learning (EO–SHO–SVR) is built to improve the accuracy of flood disaster resilience evaluation. On this basis, the EO–SHO–SVR model is used to analyze the spatiotemporal evolution of flood disaster resilience in the Jiansanjiang branch of China Beidahuang Agricultural Reclamation Group Co., Ltd. over the past 22 years. In addition, to verify the comprehensive performance of the EO–SHO–SVR model, support vector regression (SVR), imperial competition algorithm-improved support vector regression (ICA-SVR), and unimproved selfish herd optimizer support vector regression (SHO-SVR) models were selected for comparative analysis. The results show that during the study period, the resilience levels reached a plateau of high levels from 1997 to 2018 after experiencing a state of steady low levels followed by increased volatility. Among the investigated factors, land-average flood prevention investment, GDP per capita, agricultural machinery power per unit of arable land, water conservancy project investment as a percentage of GDP, and rainfall are the main driving factors that cause spatiotemporal differences in flood disaster resilience in the study area. Spatially, the resilience levels in the Jiansanjiang branch are ordered as northern farms > southern farms > central farms, and the comprehensive index of resilience shows an increasing trend from west to east. In the model comparison, the EO–SHO–SVR model has outstanding advantages in fitting performance, reliability, rationality and stability, which fully demonstrates that the EO–SHO–SVR model is highly advanced and practical in the measurement of flood disaster resilience. These research results can provide a more accurate evaluation model of regional flood disaster resilience. In addition, they can also provide valuable information for regional flood resilience improvement and flood risk avoidance.

Effectiveness of screening for tuberculosis in HIV: a pragmatic clinical trial

ABSTRACTOBJECTIVE:To verify the effectiveness of screening for tuberculosis (TB) on all-cause mortality and tuberculosis cases in newly diagnosed HIV-infected patients through a clinical algorithm based on recommendations of the World Health Organization.METHODS:From March 2014 to April 2016, a pragmatic randomized clinical trial was conducted with newly diagnosed and TB-free HIV-infected adults undergoing antiretroviral therapy for up to one month at a major tertiary hospital for HIV in the state of Pernambuco, Brazil. Participants were randomized into intervention and control groups using an automatically-generated random list, and followed-up for at least 6 months. The intervention group was screened for TB at hospital admission and at every follow-up visit through a series of questions addressing TB-related symptoms (cough, fever, night sweating, and weight loss). Patients presenting with any of these symptoms were referred to a pulmonologist and underwent sputum smear microscopy, sputum culture, and rapid molecular testing (GeneXpert). When at least one test result came back positive, TB treatment was initiated. In turn, if patients tested negative but presented with severe clinal symptoms, TB preventive treatment was initiated. Screening for TB was not performed systematically in the control group. The primary outcome assessed in this study was death from all causes, and secondary outcomes included sensitivity and specificity of this screening test, as well as its detection time.RESULTS:This study evaluated 581 patients, 377 in the intervention group (64.9%) and 204 in the control group (35.1%). In total, 36 patients died during the follow-up period. Of these, 26 (6.9%) were from the intervention group, reaching a cumulative mortality coefficient of 69 per 1,000 inhabitants, and 10 (4.9%) from the control group (p = 0.341), with a cumulative mortality coefficient of 49 per 1,000 inhabitants (p = 0.341).

Comparisons between an on-axis three-mirror anastigmat telescope and an off-axis one: polarization aberrations.

Due to the ability to achieve a wide-diffraction-limited field of view, three-mirror anastigmat (TMA) telescopes are widely used in many applications that demand high imaging quality and detection accuracy, in which polarization aberrations play increasingly important roles. In this paper, polarization properties of on-axis elements and those of off-axis elements are analyzed and compared via polarization aberration theory. Then, an on-axis TMA (OTMA) telescope and an off-axis TMA (FTMA) telescope are designed and optimized to be diffraction-limited systems in parallel. Their constructional parameters and first-order parameters are set to be identical. Via polarization ray tracing, polarization aberrations of the 2 telescopes are obtained and compared in terms of diattenuation map, retardance map, Jones pupil, Pauli pupil, and amplitude response matrix. Results demonstrate that polarization aberrations are closely related to the structural features of mirrors and telescopes. The diattenuation and retardance maps of power mirrors in the OTMA telescope are rotationally symmetric, while those in the FTMA telescope are not. A Maltese cross appears in off-diagonal elements of the Jones pupil of the OTMA telescope and disappears in the FTMA telescope. Amplitude response matrices of polarization crosstalk components in the OTMA telescope are with a four-peak structure, while those in the FTMA telescope are with a two-peak structure. After quantitative comparisons, it is found that diattenuation in the OTMA telescope is smaller than that in the FTMA telescope as well as in the cases of retardance and polarization crosstalk. There are also similarities between the 2 TMA telescopes. Polarization aberrations of secondary mirrors (SM) are greater than those of both primary mirrors (PM) and tertiary mirrors (TM). What is more, polarization aberrations of TM are so small that they can be ignored safely. The numerical sum of Pauli coefficients of PM, SM, and TM is nearly identical to the cumulative Pauli coefficients. Hence, the TMA telescopes can be treated as weak polarization elements. This work compares polarization aberration performance of on- and off-axis TMA telescopes and can provide important references for designing and optimizing telescopes in which polarization aberrations matter.

Frugal discrete memristive device based on potassium permanganate solution

Many thin film-based devices with solid electrolytes have been studied for memristive applications. Herein, we report a simple and facile way to fabricate solution-based, low-cost, and discrete two-terminal memristive devices using the KMnO4 solution. The water and methanol were used as a solvent to prepare different concentrations of KMnO4 to carry out the optimization study. Furthermore, the effect of KMnO4 concentration with aqueous and methanol solvents was studied with the help of current-voltage, device charge, charge-flux, and cyclic endurance properties. Interestingly, all developed devices show the asymmetric time-domain charge and double valued charge-flux properties, suggesting that aqueous KMnO4 and methanol-KMnO4 based devices are non-ideal memristors or memristive devices. The statistical measures such as cumulative probability and coefficient of variation are reported for the memristive devices. The possible switching mechanism of the discrete memristive was tried to explain with the UV-visible spectrum and theoretical framework. The optimized device was further studied using the cyclic voltammogram, Bode plot, and Nyquist plot. An equivalent circuit was derived for the optimized discrete memristive device using electrochemical impendence spectroscopy results. The results of the present investigation are beneficial to develop programmable analog circuits, volatile memory, and synaptic devices using discrete memristive devices.

Detection of Noise Signal in the Additive Mixture Based on the Second-Order Cumulant

In order to determine the technical condition of energetic objects with the objective of ensuring their operational reliability, durability and safety, systems of noise diagnostics, which are based on the analysis of acoustic diagnostic signals. A promising area of noise diagnostics are cumulant methods, based on cumulant analysis, which involves the use of cumulants and cumulant coefficients. In known literature no characteristics of detection of a signal within an interference-containing additive mixture with the use of a second-order cumulant (variance) can be found. That is why the objective of the paper is to study the use of cumulant method on the basis of point estimations of variance for a sample of momentary values for detection of an acoustic signal against the background of noise interference. The research was carried out by way of modeling the additive mixture of signal and interference using the MATLAB® software package. Interference is a model of a noise acoustic signal, which accompanies the operation of properly functional equipment. Signal is a model of an acoustic signal which is created with the occurrence of a malfunction. Signal and interference are independent random variables, so the property of additivity of cumulants was used – the variance of a mixture equals the sum of variances of signal and interference. The decision about the presence of a signal was made on the basis of testing two statistical hypotheses. The null hypothesis – the signal is absent, variance equals to the variance of the interference. The first hypothesis – the signal is present, variance equals to the variance of the mixture. Additional parameters: probability of a Type I error 0,01, probability of correct determination 0,99. The relative error of estimation determined the minimal sample size. These values allowed for the calculation of the threshold value, upon the exceeding of which by the variance estimation, the decision on the presence of signal is made. For each sample, assessments of variance were made. Experimental probability of correct determination is calculated as a total number of decisions taken regarding the presence of a signal, divided by the number of realizations, and corresponds to the value of the specified probability of correct determination. Its relative error was calculated in order to control the validity of the results. Also, kernel density estimation of the probability of the variance assessment for the case of a signal with normal distribution. As shown by the graphs, the assessments have a distribution that is close to normal. The conducted study proves that a variance -based cumulant method allows to detect a signal against the background of noise interference. The necessary sample size, which shows the number of the necessary momentary values, is given in the paper. That is to say that with the help of the frequency of an analogue digital converter the needed duration of the recording of a real for assessment of its variance can be obtained, and the decision on the presence or absence of a signal is to be made on the basis of the specified threshold values. The results of the study can be added to the known sample sizes and threshold values for the coefficients of asymmetry and excess with different distributions. Application of the described method requires additional testing on real acoustic signals and has the areas of use in systems of noise diagnostics.

Anomaly Detection Based on Multidimensional Data Processing for Protecting Vital Devices in 6G-Enabled Massive IIoT

As a result of the increasing deployment of Industrial-Internet-of-Things (IIoT) architectures, large volumes of multidimensional data are continuously generated. An important issue with these data is that higher dimensionality increases the degree of fragmentation. Furthermore, data sets collected by IIoT nodes often display outliers, which are usually caused by anomalous events or errors. These outliers contain considerable valuable information, which prevent the normal operation of the system. Thus, methodologies are able to quantify the obtained information to protect the high priority IIoT nodes, are crucial. This study aims at developing such a method driven by sixth-generation (6G) networks. The proposed algorithm uses a multidimensional data relationship diagram to characterize the spatiotemporal correlations among heterogeneous data. Then, an autoregressive exogenous model is used to eliminate the effects of noise on sensor data, and to help in detecting anomalies. Finally, the algorithm produces a Cumulative Coefficient of Value (CCoV), to identify high-value sensing devices and enable massive Internet of Things (IoT) with 6G-using the characteristic patterns hidden within the data. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can effectively handle the effects of the ubiquitous interference noise in complex industrial environments. Moreover, the method yields effective anomaly detection and compensates for some of the shortcomings in traditional methods.

The Incidence of Social Responsibility in the Adoption of Business Practices

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) policies are evidenced by adopting socially relevant business practices for people, communities, companies, and related institutions. Based on this conception, the present work determines the incidence of ethics and CSR on practices regarding diversity, environment, and community of Chilean companies. The method, applied to a sample of 3179 Chilean companies, was descriptive and correlational. Results demonstrate an incipient level of standardization in the adoption of social responsibility practices. The dimension regarding diversity presented a higher cumulative correlation coefficient, which could lead to a change in CSR practices. It is concluded that the collective impact of the ethics and CSR policies was positive and significant in the adoption of practices related to diversity, environment, and community.

Improved Predictive Ability of KPLS Regression with Memetic Algorithms

Kernel partial least squares regression (KPLS) is a non-linear method for predicting one or more dependent variables from a set of predictors, which transforms the original datasets into a feature space where it is possible to generate a linear model and extract orthogonal factors also called components. A difficulty in implementing KPLS regression is determining the number of components and the kernel function parameters that maximize its performance. In this work, a method is proposed to improve the predictive ability of the KPLS regression by means of memetic algorithms. A metaheuristic tuning procedure is carried out to select the number of components and the kernel function parameters that maximize the cumulative predictive squared correlation coefficient, an overall indicator of the predictive ability of KPLS. The proposed methodology led to estimate optimal parameters of the KPLS regression for the improvement of its predictive ability.

ГРАМИН И ЕГО ТОКСИКОЛОГИЧЕСКАЯ ОЦЕНКА

The aim of the research was to study the acute and subchronic toxicity of the drug gramine in white mice. The micromycete Drechslera graminea served as the basis for the creation of the gra-mine preparation. Experiments to determine the acute toxicity of the preparation gramine were car-ried out on outbred white mice (males) weighing 18-20 grams. The drug was administered to ani-mals intraperitoneally, once in doses from 400 to 2400 mg/kg. 6 mice were used for each dose. The condition of the animals was monitored for 14 days. The dose causing the death of 50 % of the an-imals (LD50) and the absolutely lethal dose (LD100) were determined. LD50 was calculated by the Kerber method. The study of subchronic toxicity of gramine was carried out for 30 days. The drug was administered to 10 mice intramuscularly daily, in the first 4 days, gramine was injected at a dose of 0.1 LD50, and then every 4 days the dose was increased 1.5 times and finally it was 1520 mg/kg. To determine the cumulative properties of the drug in white mice, a "subchronic toxicity" test was used. The reliability of the results obtained was taken into account in accordance with the Student's t-criterion at P <0.05. As a result, it was found that the average lethal dose (LD 50) of gramine for white mice is 1334 mg/kg, LD 100 - 2400 mg/kg. Studies of the subchronic toxicity of gramine showed that doses of the drug from 133 to 450 mg/kg did not cause significant changes in the behavioral responses of laboratory mice, and a pronounced toxigenic effect began to appear at a dose of 675 mg/kg and continued to increase after a further increase in doses of gramine (1013-1520 mg/kg), while causing mortality reaching the level of 50 %. It was found that gramine with intraperi-toneal administration of the LD50 of gramine for white mice corresponds to 1334 mg/kg, which al-lows the drug to be classified as a low-toxic substance. The cumulation coefficient of gramine is 1.14, which corresponds to the group of drugs with pronounced cumulation.

Targeted Next-Generation Sequencing of Liquid Biopsy Samples from Patients with NSCLC.

Liquid biopsy tests have become an integral part of the molecular diagnosis of patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). We describe a new test panel that uses very low input (20 ng) of cell-free nucleic acids extracted from human plasma, which is designed to yield results in less than 72 h. In this study, we performed novel amplicon-based targeted next-generation sequencing with a semiconductor-based system, the Ion GeneStudio S5 Prime. The analytic performance of the assay was evaluated using contrived and retrospectively collected clinical specimens. The cumulative percent coefficient of variation for the new test process was very precise at 8.4% for inter-day, 4.0% for inter-operator and 3.4% for inter-instrument. We also observed significant agreement (95.7–100%) with an orthogonal, high-sensitivity droplet digital™ Polymerase Chain Reaction (ddPCR) test. This method offers a valuable supplement to assessing targeted mutations from blood while conserving specimens and maintaining sensitivity, with rapid turn-around times to actionable results.

Cumulative properties (accumulation of a substance or its effect upon repeated administration in equal doses) is determined on the basis of a quantitative indicator – the cumulation coefficient. Before carrying out chronic toxicological experiments, it is necessary to determine the cumulation index of the pharmacological substance – the ratio of LD50 with a single administration to LD50 with multiple administration. According to the Lim method, the cumulative properties of the drug Delcid 7,5® were studied, the cumulation coefficient of the drug was Kkum = 1,09. In accordance with the classification of chemicals, including pesticides by L.I. For a bear, the drug belongs to a group of substances with pronounced cumulation.

ОЦЕНКА ОБЩЕТОКСИЧЕСКИХ СВОЙСТВ НОВОГО АНТИСЕПТИЧЕСКОГО И ДЕЗИНФИЦИРУЮЩЕГО СРЕДСТВА ДЛЯ ВЕТЕРИНАРНОГО ПРИМЕНЕНИЯ

The article presents data on the toxicological properties of the disinfectant, which includes alkyldimethylammonium propyl ketone chloride, glutaraldehyde, glyoxal. Based on the results of a series of experiments, the main parameters of the toxicity of the disinfectant were determined. For male mice, the acute toxicity LD50 was 325±14.5 mg / kg, for male rats – 350±50 mg/kg, according to the classification of GOST 12.1.007-76, the agent belongs to the 3rd hazard class. The LD50 with repeated administration of the drug was 217±13.5 mg/kg of animal weight, the cumulation coefficient was 0.67, which indicates the ability of the drug with repeated intragastric administration to accumulate in the body of animals.

Subjective Environmental Experiences and Women's Breastfeeding Journeys: A Survival Analysis Using an Online Survey of UK Mothers.

Local physical and social environmental factors are important drivers of human health and behaviour. Environmental perception has been linked with both reproduction and parenting, but links between subjective environmental experiences and breastfeeding remain unclear. Using retrospective data from an online survey of UK mothers of children aged 0–24 months, Cox-Aalen survival models test whether negative subjective environmental experiences negatively correlated with any and exclusive breastfeeding (max n = 473). Matching predictions, hazards of stopping any breastfeeding were increased, albeit non-significantly, across the five environmental measures (HR: 1.05–1.26) Hazards for stopping exclusive breastfeeding were however (non-significantly) reduced (HR: 0.65–0.87). Score processes found no significant time-varying effects. However, estimated cumulative coefficient graphs showed that the first few weeks postpartum were most susceptible to environmental influences and that contrary to our predictions, mothers with worse subjective environmental experiences were less likely to stop breastfeeding at this time. In addition, the hazard of stopping exclusive breastfeeding declined over time for mothers who thought that littering was a problem. The predicted increased hazards of stopping breastfeeding were only evident in the later stages of any breastfeeding and only for mothers who reported littering as a problem or that people tended not to know each other. Perceived harsher physical and social environmental conditions are assumed to deter women from breastfeeding, but this may not always be the case. Women’s hazards of stopping breastfeeding change over time and there may be particular timepoints in their breastfeeding journeys where subjective environmental experiences play a role.

Study of the Cumulative Properties of the Long-acting Preparation "Flyblock insecticidal tag

The purpose of the research is to study the cumulative properties of the long-acting preparation "Flyblock insecticidal tag". Materials and methods. The cumulative properties of the "Flyblock insecticidal tag" preparation were studied by the subchronic toxicity method on 20 male guinea pigs, which were divided into experimental and control groups of 10 animals each. A solution for impregnating a polymer plate of the preparation "Flyblock insecticidal tag" was applied to the skin, on a previously trimmed area of the coat 4 × 4 cm in size in the spinal column using a disposable syringe for injection in doses from 0.1 to 1.12 LD50. To animals of the experimental group, the drug was applied at a dose of 187.40 mg/kg, equal to 1/10 of the previously established single lethal dose of LD50, then every subsequent 4 days the dose was increased 1.5 times. The control group of animals received 0.9 % saline solution at a dose of 2 ml. For 27 days, the physiological state of the animals, the nature and degree of activity and coordination of movements, the presence of tremors, seizures, paresis, paralysis were assessed; took into account the condition of the hair and mucous membranes, studied the symptoms of intoxication and recorded the death of animals. Dead guinea pigs were subjected to autopsy, detailed examination of the thoracic and abdominal cavities, and macroscopic examination of parenchymal organs and tissues. Results and discussion. When studying the cumulative properties of the preparation "Flyblock insecticidal tag", the value of the cumulation coefficient was set equal to 11.6. In accordance with the classification of chemicals, including pesticides, a prolonged-release drug belongs to the group of substances with a weakly expressed degree of cumulation.

On nonlinearity in hydrodynamic response to the initial geometry in relativistic heavy-ion collisions

In the context of event-by-event hydrodynamic description, we analyze the implications of two models characterized by distinct initial conditions. The initial energy density of the first model adopts a Gaussian-type distribution, while those of the second one are features by high energy peripheral tubes. We calibrate the initial conditions of both models so that their initial probability distribution of eccentricity are mostly identical. Subsequently, the resultant scaled probability distributions of collective flow and the correlations between flow harmonic and eccentricity coefficients are investigated. Besides, the calculations are carried out for particle correlations regarding the symmetric cumulant, mixed harmonics, and nonlinear response coefficients. Although the resultant two-particle correlations possess similar shapes, numerical calculations indicate a subtle difference between the two models. To be specific, the difference resides in more detailed observables such as the probability distributions of elliptic flow as well as Pearson correlation coefficient regarding higher-order harmonics. We discuss several essential aspects concerning the linearity and nonlinearity between initial eccentricities and final state anisotropies. Further implications are addressed.

Analysis of Estimation Error of Skewness and Kurtosis of Bunimovich-Rice Processes with Exponentially Power Waveform of Pulses

Mathematical expectations and variances of estimates of skewness and kurtosis coefficients of the noise signal model have been derived in this study. The specified noise signals represent the Bunimovich–Rice processes with exponentially power waveform of pulses expressed in terms of cumulant coefficients of the specified processes. It is shown that the distribution of instantaneous values of Bunimovich–Rice processes is quite different from the Gaussian distribution. The root-mean-square and relative estimation errors of skewness and kurtosis coefficients depending on of the time constant and waveform parameter of elementary pulses, as well as distributions of pulse amplitudes (degenerate and gamma distributions) and their intensities are analyzed. Expressions for finding the minimal sample volumes are obtained that ensure the specified values of relative errors in estimating the skewness and kurtosis coefficients of Bunimovich–Rice processes. The minimal sample volumes depending on parameters of these processes have been determined that ensure the relative estimation errors, which do not exceed 1%.

STUDY OF THE CUMULATIVE PROPERTIES OF «INDEZ» ON LABORATORY WHITE RATES

The article presents the results of the study of «Indez» disinfectant. An effective disinfectant for use in animal husbandry should be easy to use, be non-toxic, have broad bactericidal spectrum, be non-carcinogenic, have non-addictive micro-flora and provide a permanent bactericidal effect in the presence of animals, while sanitizing the air environment. «Indez» disinfectant is a small, amorphous grey powder with a specific odour, well sprayed. It is composed of triiodomethane (iodoform), zinc oxide, iron sulphate (II) (iron sulphate), copper sulphate, silicon dioxide, zeolite, active essential oils, a complex of surfactants and pH regulators, auxiliaries. This preparation can be used in the presence of animals; the disinfectant effect is based on the spectrum of antimicrobial action of its constituents.
 In the experiment of the study of the cumulative properties of «Indez» 80 white rats weighing 180-200 ± 10 g, tested doses of 1/5, 1/10, 1/20, from DL50 were used. To the animals of the experimental group, the suspension of the preparation was administered orally: in the first 4 days - 1/5 of DL50, then 1/10 and 1/20. Animals of the control group were administered saline at a dose of 0.5 ml. Observations on rats were carried out for 22 days. Depending on the dose of the drug, the cumulation coefficient.
 As a result of the study of the cumulative properties of the drug it is established that the introduction of a total dose of «Indez» 56,8 cm3 per 1 kg body weight does not cause death of white rats. When conducting a total dose of 63,4 cm3 / kg body weight one animal died, representing 5 %. Further administration of the drug lethality was on the 18-th day (total dose 83,13 cm3 / kg) – 15 %, on the 19-th day (total dose 93,0 cm3 / kg) – 20 % and the 20-th day (total dose 102,87 cm3 / kg) – 45 %. With an increase of 9,873 1,5 times (1,8095 cm3 / kg) on the 21-st day, the mortality rate was 80 %, and on the 22-nd day of the studies 90 % of laboratory animals were killed, the total dose was 1032,49 cm3 / kg.
 Under the study of the cumulative properties of «Indez» disinfectant, it was found that the cumulation coefficient in rats is 2,2 units. This, in turn, indicates that the test agent has moderately pronounced properties for cumulation. In this case, white rats inhibit the hematopoietic function of the bone marrow and reduce the body’s defences, as evidenced by a probable decrease in leukocyte count and a slight decrease in haemoglobin, lymphocyte count, spleen mass factor, and increased segmentation.

Determination of the cumulative and skin-resorptive action of the Zoodizin disinfectant

The rational organization and implementation of effective disinfection activities plays an important role in the complex of measures for the prevention of infections. The development and introduction of new disinfectants into production is an urgent issue of modern poultry farming. When developing a disinfectant, it is important to determine the cumulative effect of the drug. The purpose of the study was to determine the cumulative and skin-resorptive action of the disinfectant “Zoоdizin”. For the toxicological study of the drug used healthy white male rats and white female rats weighing 200 ± 10 g 1.5 years of age. To study the toxicity of the drug “Zoоdizin” when applied to the skin used the method of immersion of the tails of rats in a test tube with the test substance. The tail was injected 2/3 into a regular tube with a 5 % solution of the drug “Zoоdizin”. The tube was closed with a cork ring whose diameter was slightly larger than the tail diameter. For 15 days, the tubes were placed daily in a water bath at 28–30 °C for 2 hours. Control animals tails were immersed in distilled water. To establish the local action of the drug “Zoodizin” on the mucous membranes of the study drug was introduced into the conjunctival sac of the right eye of the rabbit at a dose of 50 mg, and in the left eye was buried saline in a volume of 0,05 cm3. When studying the cumulative effect of Zoоdizin, no significant changes in the biochemical parameters in the serum of rats were observed. In the study of possible irritant or damaging effect on the skin and the development of contact non-allergic dermatitis found that a single application of disinfectant “Zoоdizin” on the unaffected skin of the back of white rats in the maximum significant recommended concentration of working solutions (2 %) did not cause signs. The single effect of the drug on the intact areas of the skin did not cause skin irritation, but it can be stated that prolonged daily epicutaneous exposure of high concentration (5 %) of the solution of the drug “Zoоdizin”, which is 2.5 times higher than the maximum recommended concentration, caused a general resorption. When assessing the cumulative properties, it was taken into account that the total dose administered to rats was Zodizin 42000 mg/kg body weight and did not result in animal death. It did not allow to calculate the cumulative coefficients for the “lethal effect”. A single effect of the product on the intact areas of the skin did not cause skin irritation, but it can be stated that prolonged daily epicutaneous exposure of a high concentration (5 %) of the Zodizin solution, which is 2.5 times the maximum recommended concentration, caused a general resorption. In the future, it is planned to study the virulidal properties of the biocide “Zoоdizin”.
