The Effect of Nursing Intervention Application in Patients with Diabetes Mellitus and Urinary Tract Infection

Objective: To analyze the effect of using a comprehensive nursing intervention model for patients with diabetes mellitus and urinary tract infections. Methods: 60 patients with diabetes mellitus combined with urinary tract infection who were admitted to the hospital from November 2021 to November 2023 were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, and were treated with conventional nursing interventions and comprehensive nursing interventions respectively. The nursing status of the two groups was compared and analyzed. Results: After the intervention, the observation group showed lower levels of fasting blood glucose and other indicators, and lower anxiety and depression scores, P < 0.05. After the intervention, the observation group’s blood creatinine and other biochemical indicators improved significantly, P < 0.05. Conclusion: For the treatment of patients with both diabetes mellitus and urinary tract infections, nursing staff should pay attention to the development of nursing interventions to enhance the level of patients’ glucose control, improve the patients’ bad moods, and improve patients’ therapeutic efficacy.

The effects of continuous care utilizing rational emotive therapy on prostate cancer patients

AbstractThis study is to investigate the impact of rational emotive behaviour therapy in conjunction with continuity nursing on the negative emotions and quality of life of patients with radical prostatectomy (RPT). A total of 82 patients who underwent RPT for prostate cancer and were admitted to our department between November 2020 and October 2021 were randomly divided into two groups: the control group received conventional nursing interventions, while the observation group received rational emotion therapy combined with continuity of care interventions. The patients' negative emotions and quality of life in the two groups were compared. The Self‐rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self‐assessment Scale of Depression (SDS) scores of the observation group after nursing care were significantly lower than those of the control group (p < 0.01). Furthermore, the scores of the observation group in the dimensions of vitality (VT), physiological functioning (PF), general health (GH), affective functioning (RE), mental health (MH), and social functioning (SF) were higher than those of the control group (p < 0.05). Finally, the differences in both scores were statistically significant (p < 0.05). The combination of rational emotion therapy and continuity nursing has been demonstrated to have a positive effect on prostate cancer patients. It has been shown to effectively relieve patients' negative emotions, such as depression and anxiety, and to improve the quality of survival. This approach is worthy of further promotion and application in clinical practice.

Effect of pain nursing intervention on patients with craniocerebral trauma combined with ocular trauma after decompressive craniectomy.

To determine the impacts of pain nursing intervention of patients with craniocerebral trauma combined with ocular trauma after decompressive craniotomy. This was retrospective study. Eighty patients with craniocerebral trauma combined with ocular trauma who underwent unilateral decompressive craniectomy in Baoding No.1 Central Hospital from January 2023 to November 2023 were included and divided into the observation group(n=40) and the control group(n=40) according to different nursing methods. Patients in the control group received conventional nursing intervention, while those in the observation group received pain nursing intervention. The differences in sleep quality, self-care ability, quality of life, psychological state and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. After intervention, the pain degree of both groups was significantly reduced compared with that before intervention, and the reduction degree of the observation group was more than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). The SS-QOL scores of both groups were significantly improved compared with before intervention, and the improvement degree of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (p<0.05). The nursing satisfaction score of the observation group was (93.35±3.83) points, which was higher than (83.38±3.59) points of the control group, with a statistically significant difference (t=12.019, P=0.000). Pain nursing intervention shows a variety of benefits in the treatment of patients with craniocerebral trauma combined with ocular trauma after decompressive craniectomy, improving their quality of life, self-care ability and nursing satisfaction.

Efficacy of predictive pain intervention in patients with aortic dissection.

Aortic dissection is usually managed with interventional therapy, conservative therapy, and surgery to inhibit disease progression and improve prognoses. Nevertheless, the absence of meticulous and effective nursing during the treatment greatly increases the complication rates, which is detrimental to the recovery of patients. This study aimed to explore the efficacy of predictive pain intervention in the nursing process of patients with aortic dissection. Sixty patients with aortic dissection who were admitted to our hospital from December 2018 to December 2020 were observed in this study. Specifically, these patients were randomly and equally classified into Group A (patients who were given conventional nursing intervention) and Group B (patients who were given predictive pain intervention). Subsequently, the pain score, complication rates, and nursing satisfaction in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Compared with patients in Group A, patients in Group B had significantly lower pain scores (P< 0.05); complication rates were significantly lower in Group B than in Group A (6.67% vs. 23.33%, P< 0.05); patient satisfaction with care was significantly better in Group B compared to Group A (96.67% vs. 73.33%, P< 0.05). Predictive pain intervention is widely recognized as useful in the treatment of patients with aortic dissection. It has significant clinical application value as it can largely alleviate pain and is relatively safe for patients.

Enhanced recovery after surgery-based nursing in older patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction after gastric cancer surgery: A retrospective study.

Gastric cancer-related morbidity and mortality rates are high in China. Patients who have undergone gastric cancer surgery should receive six cycles of chemotherapy according to their condition. During this period, intestinal obstruction is likely to occur. Electrolyte balance disorders, peritonitis, intestinal necrosis, and even hypovolemic shock and septic shock can seriously affect the physical and mental recovery of patients and threaten their health and quality of life (QoL). To quantitatively explore the effects of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS)-based nursing on anxiety, depression, and QoL of elderly patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction after gastric cancer. The clinical data of 129 older patients with intestinal obstruction after gastric cancer surgery who were treated and cared for in our hospital between January 2019 and December 2021 were examined retrospectively. Nine patients dropped out because of transfer, relocation, or death. According to the order of admissions, the patients were categorized into either a comparison group or an observation group according to the random number table, with 60 cases in each group. After nursing care, the observation group required significantly less time to eat for the first time, recover bowel sounds, pass gas, and defecate than the comparison group (P < 0.05). No significant difference was noted in nutrition-related indicators between the two groups before care. Before care, the Symptom Check List-90 scores between the two groups were comparable, whereas anxiety, depression, paranoia, fear, hostility, obsession, somatization, interpersonal sensitivity, and psychotic scores were significantly lower in the observation group after care (P < 0.05). The QoL scores between the two groups before care did not differ significantly. After care, the physical, social, physiological, and emotional function scores; mental health score; vitality score; and general health score were significantly higher in the observation group, whereas the somatic pain score was significantly lower in the observation group (P < 0.05). ERAS-based nursing combined with conventional nursing interventions can effectively improve patient's QoL, negative emotions, and nutritional status; accelerate the time to first ventilation; and promote intestinal function recovery in elderly patients with postoperative intestinal obstruction after gastric cancer surgery.

Clinical Nursing Intervention of Moxibustion on Abdominal Distension Symptoms in Heart Failure (Heart and Kidney Yang Deficiency and Blood Stasis Blocking Collaterals Syndrome)

Objective: To investigate the clinical nursing intervention effect of moxibustion on abdominal distension symptoms in heart failure (heart and kidney yang deficiency and blood stasis blocking collaterals syndrome). Methods: 62 patients with heart failure (heart and kidney yang deficiency and blood stasis blocking collaterals syndrome) admitted to our hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were selected and divided into the observation group (n = 31) and the control group (n = 31) by using the random numerical table method. The control group adopted conventional nursing interventions, and the observation group received the nursing program of the control group with the addition of moxibustion nursing interventions. The nursing effectiveness, quality of life scores, and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results: The nursing effectiveness of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P &lt; 0.05); the quality of life score of the observation group was significantly higher than the control group (P &lt; 0.05); the nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P &lt; 0.05). Conclusion: The use of moxibustion nursing intervention in patients with heart failure (heart and kidney yang deficiency and blood stasis blocking collaterals syndrome) can effectively relieve the symptoms of abdominal distension, improve patients’ quality of life, and increase nursing satisfaction, which has promotion and application values.

Clinical application of intensified nursing intervention in electronic coloscopy preparation.

Electronic coloscopy is an invasive procedure and achieving an ideal result can be challenging, leading to low intestinal cleanliness scores and a poor intestinal polyp positive rate. (1) To demonstrate the impact of intensified nursing intervention on electronic colonoscopy. (2) To improve patients' satisfaction with medical services related to intestinal cleanliness during preparation, the accuracy of the intestinal polyp-positive rate, and nursing. Our study included 120 patients who underwent electronic coloscopy. These patients were randomly assigned to either the observation group or the control group, with 60 cases in each group. Patients in the control group received conventional nursing intervention, which included face-to-face oral and written instructions. In addition to the conventional intervention, patients in the observation group received intensified guidance interventions, which included instructions via phone, as well as WeChat messages and pictures. The patients in the observation group who received intensified guidance interventions demonstrated better intestinal cleanliness during preparation compared to the control group (P< 0.05). Besides, the accuracy of the intestinal polyp positive rate was higher in the observation group than in the control group (P< 0.05). Finally, regarding patient satisfaction with the nursing service provided by the endoscopy center, the observation group had a higher level of satisfaction than the control group (P< 0.05). The intensified guidance interventions provided to patients undergoing electronic colonoscopy resulted in a significant improvement in intestinal cleanliness during preparation, as well as an increase in the accuracy of the intestinal polyp-positive rate and patient satisfaction with our nursing service. Therefore, we believe that these interventions are highly beneficial and should be promoted and applied in clinical settings.

Analysis of the Application Effect of Structured Healthcare Education in Brittle Diabetic Patients

Objective: To explore the application effect of structured healthcare education in patients with brittle diabetes mellitus. Methods: 188 brittle diabetic patients admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into the control group (n = 94) and the observation group (n = 94) according to the random number table method. The control group used conventional nursing intervention and the observation group used structured healthcare education. The general information, glycemic indexes, self-efficacy, compliance, and nursing satisfaction of patients in the two groups were observed. Results: There was no statistical significance in the basic information of the two groups of patients (P &gt; 0.05); after the intervention, the fasting plasma glucose, 2-hour postprandial blood glucose, and HbA1c of the patients in the observation group were lower than those of the control group (P &lt; 0.001); after the intervention, the self-efficacy scores of the patients in the two groups increased, and the scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P &lt; 0.001); the total adherence rate of the patients in the observation group (90/95.75%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (80/90.10%) (χ2 = 6.144, P &lt; 0.05); and the total satisfaction rate of patients in the observation group (92/97.87%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (78/82.98%) (χ2 = 12.042, P &lt; 0.05). Conclusion: In patients with brittle diabetes mellitus, structured healthcare education can effectively control patients’ blood glucose levels, improve patients’ self-efficacy and adherence, and enhance patient satisfaction.

Effectiveness of homogenized nursing care intervention in postoperative bladder irrigation of urological system in primary hospitals-Taking the incidence of postoperative complications as an example: A retrospective study.

To explore the effect of homogenized nursing interventions for bladder irrigation after urological surgery in primary hospitals, and to further analyze the incidence of postoperative complications according to the different nursing methods. The experiment selected 110 patients with urological disorders who underwent bladder irrigation, and the subjects were admitted to the hospital from January 2020 to October 2023. The subjects were chronologically divided into a control group and an experimental group, with the admission time of the control group being between between January 2020 and October 2022. The experimental group was admitted between October 2022 and October 2023. Conventional nursing care and homogenized nursing care were used respectively, and the intervention effect of homogenized nursing care was assessed by comparing the patients' psychological state indexes, vital characteristic indexes, and the incidence of various postoperative complications under the 2 interventions. None of the indicators were statistically significant before the nursing intervention. In the comparison of nursing satisfaction and clinical comfort, the experimental group's nursing satisfaction was 94.5% and clinical comfort was 90.9%, which was significantly higher than that of the control group. In the comparison of the incidence of postoperative complications, the incidence of urinary retention in the experimental group was 1.82%, which was significantly lower than that of the control group. In addition, the total incidence of complications in the experimental group was 1.82%, which proved that the homogenized nursing intervention was effective in reducing the complications after urinary bladder irrigation. In multifactorial logistic regression analysis, after homogenized nursing intervention. The relative risks of the 4 complications were 1.836, 1.445, 1.993, and 2.138, respectively, which were significantly lower than those of conventional nursing intervention. In the ROC analysis, the AUC values of the 4 complications were 0.832, 0.731, 0.746, and 0.723, respectively. proving the superiority of homogenized care in preventing postoperative complications. Homogenized nursing intervention can effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications in patients with urological postoperative bladder irrigation, improve patients' symptoms and prognosis, and improve the quality of care and patients' quality of life.

Implementation of personalized multidisciplinary neuropathy management program for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy symptoms in breast cancer patients

Objective To construct a personalized multidisciplinary neurotoxicity management program for chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) symptoms in breast cancer patients and evaluate its application effects. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on clinical data of 133 breast cancer chemotherapy patients admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to January 2024. Based on the nursing protocols received, patients were divided into a control group (n = 66) and an intervention group (n = 67). The control group received conventional nursing interventions, while the intervention group received personalized nursing interventions in addition to the control group interventions. The nursing programs were carried out during chemotherapy. A comparison was made between the two groups before chemotherapy and 3 months after chemotherapy in terms of the degree of neuropathy, cancer-related fatigue, negative emotional status, and symptom management knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP). Results The intervention group showed significantly lower neuropathy severity (FACT/GOG-Ntx), cancer-related fatigue (CFS), and negative emotions (PHQ-9, GAD-7) scores after chemotherapy compared to the control group (p < 0.05). Additionally, the intervention group exhibited higher scores for symptom management knowledge, beliefs, and behaviors (p < 0.05). Conclusion Personalized multidisciplinary neurotoxicity management program significantly improved neuropathy severity, reduced cancer-related fatigue and negative emotions, and enhanced symptom management knowledge, attitudes, and practices among breast cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Effect of nursing on postoperative respiratory function and mental health of lung cancer patients.

Both pulmonary rehabilitation training and psychological care have been shown to have a positive effect on the postoperative recovery of patients with lung cancer. However, few studies have combined the two to explore their combined effect. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the effects of pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with psychological care on postoperative respiratory function and mental health in lung cancer patients. To investigate effect of nursing on postoperative respiratory function and mental health of lung cancer patients. 122 cases of lung cancer patients who underwent surgical treatment in our hospital and were treated in our department from January 2022 to April 2023 were selected and randomly divided into the control group and observation group. The control group performed the routine care intervention. The observation group was given pulmonary rehabilitation training and psychological care based on conventional nursing interventions. Forced expiratory volume, forced vital capacity. Maximum ventilatory volume (MVV) in one second was measured, and the patient's 6-min walking distance and dyspnoea index scale were used to assess the patient's respiratory condition. The Connor-Davidson resilience scale (CD-RISC), self-rating anxiety scale (SAS), and self-rating depression scale (SDS) were used to evaluate the mental health of the patients. There was no difference between the two groups regarding age, gender, education level, surgical procedure, type of pathology, and treatment (P > 0.05). After treatment, MVV, 6-min walking distance, toughness, strength, optimism, and total CD-RISC scores were significantly higher in the observation group (P < 0.05), dyspnoea scores, SAS, and SDS scores were substantially lower in the control group compared to the observation group (P < 0.05). Pulmonary rehabilitation training combined with psychological care for patients after lung cancer resection could improve lung function, enhance daily activities, effectively relieve negative emotions such as anxiety and depression, and reduce complications.

Clinical value of precise rehabilitation nursing in management of cerebral infarction.

Cerebral infarction, previously referred to as cerebral infarction or ischemic stroke, refers to the localized brain tissue experiencing ischemic necrosis or softening due to disorders in brain blood supply, ischemia, and hypoxia. The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management is a continuous, fixed, orderly, and efficient nursing model aimed at standardizing the clinical nursing process, reducing the wastage of medical resources, and improving the quality of medical services. To analyze the value of a precise rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management in patients with cerebral infarction. Patients (n = 124) admitted to our hospital with cerebral infarction between November 2019 and November 2021 were enrolled as the study subjects. The random number table method was used to divide them into a conventional nursing intervention group (n = 61) and a model nursing intervention group (n = 63). Changes in the nursing index for the two groups were compared after conventional nursing intervention and precise rehabilitation intervention nursing for chronic disease management. Compared with the conventional intervention group, the model intervention group had a shorter time to clinical symptom relief (P < 0.05), lower Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale scores, a lower incidence of total complications (P < 0.05), a higher disease knowledge mastery rate, higher safety and quality, and a higher overall nursing satisfaction rate (P < 0.05). The precision rehabilitation nursing model for chronic disease management improves the clinical symptoms of patients with cerebral infarction, reducing the incidence of total complications and improving the clinical outcome of patients, and is worthy of application in clinical practice.

Development of a Mind Map-based Predictive Nursing Protocol and its Impact on the Clarity of Images in Patients Undergoing High-concentration Contrast Three-dimensional Computed Tomography Imaging of Liver Blood Vessels.

To explore the development of a mind map-based predictive nursing protocol and assess its impact on the quality of images in patients undergoing high-concentration contrast three-dimensional computed tomography (CT) imaging of liver blood vessels. A total of 600 patients who were admitted to Beijing You an Hospital were chosen for this prospective study and underwent high-concentration contrast three-dimensional CT imaging of liver blood vessels between April 2021 and December 2021. The patients were divided into two groups using the digital table method, with 300 cases. The control group received conventional nursing intervention, while the research group was provided with a mind map-based predictive nursing protocol. We recorded the image quality of three-dimensional CT imaging of liver blood vessels, satisfaction scores regarding nurse examination guidance, and the Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) in both groups. The research group achieved a perfect rate of 100.00% for the high-quality three-dimensional CT imaging of liver blood vessels, which was noticeably higher compared to the rate of the control group of 98.67%. Patients in the research group expressed higher satisfaction levels regarding the guidance provided by nurses, including their attitude, timeliness, accuracy, and overall satisfaction, compared to the control group. Initially, the two groups had no notable differences in the SAS and SDS scores. However, after the intervention, both groups experienced a significant decrease in SAS and SDS scores, with the research group showing an even more substantial decline. Through the creation of a mind map-based predictive nursing protocol and its implementation on patients undergoing high-concentration contrast three-dimensional CT imaging of liver blood vessels, it is possible to significantly enhance the quality of CT scans, alleviate feelings of anxiety and depression, increase patient satisfaction with examination guidance by nurses, and effectively decrease the occurrences of contrast agent leakage and allergic reactions to iodine.

Application value of Neuman's nursing model in the perioperative period of radical mastectomy.

The purpose of this study was to explore the application value of Neuman's nursing model in perioperative nursing for patients undergoing modified radical mastectomy. A retrospective collection of data from breast cancer patients treated at Shanxi Bethune Hospital between January 2019 and December 2022 was conducted. Patients who received conventional nursing interventions were included in the conventional group. Patients who received intervention using Neuman's nursing model were placed in the study group. The psychological and physiological stress levels, quality of life, complications, nursing quality, and patient satisfaction during the perioperative period were compared between the two groups. Postoperatively, the incidences of psychological stress, physiological stress, and complications in breast cancer patients who were intervened by Neuman's nursing model were significantly lower than those of patients receiving conventional nursing (all P < 0.05). Their quality of life was significantly higher than that of patients in the conventional group (P < 0.05). Nursing personnel under Neuman's nursing model scored significantly higher in terms of nursing operations, nursing attitude, completion of nursing work, and patient's cooperation (all P < 0.05). There was a significant difference in the degree of satisfaction between the two groups, with higher rates of "very satisfied" and "satisfied" patients in the Neuman's nursing model group compared to the conventional nursing group (Z=-2.036, P=0.042). The use of Neuman's nursing model in perioperative nursing for breast cancer patients can reduce the incidence of psychological and physiological stress. It improves nursing quality, patient's quality of life, and satisfaction with nursing.

Impact of Using Natural Herbal Materials for Acupoint Application Combined with an Evidence-Based Supervision Method on Improving Renal Function and Lifestyle Treatment in Hemodialysis Patients

Natural herbal materials are commonly derived from plants, minerals, and animals, and compared to synthetic drugs, are closer to natural resources. Here, we analyzed the impact of using evidence-based supervision in combination with natural herbal materials for acupoint application on renal function and lifestyle treatment in hemodialysis patients, with the aim to provide evidence for clinical practice. We selected 80 patients who underwent hemodialysis treatment in our hospital between September 2021 and December 2022 as the research subjects. All of the research subjects were randomly divided into observation and control groups, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received conventional nursing interventions, while the observation group received interventions using acupuncture point application of natural Traditional Chinese medicine herbal materials combined with evidence-based supervision. The main endpoints were to compare the nursing intervention effects between the two groups, including patients’ renal function indicators and quality of life. The natural Chinese medicinal herb Atractylodes macrocephala contains eucalyptol-type sesquiterpene lactones, which exhibit various activities, especially in anti-inflammatory aspects, with a definite effect on the prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis in hemodialysis patients. Clinical studies have shown that the levels of serum creatinine (SCr) and blood urea nitrogen (BUN) in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, while the GQOLI-74 scores of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (all P &gt;0.05). Natural Chinese medicines are natural biobased materials that are often described as compound drugs in practical clinical applications, containing multiple components that can work synergistically to produce comprehensive therapeutic effects. Among them, Atractylodes macrocephala has a definite effect on the prevention and treatment of renal fibrosis in hemodialysis patients. The use of natural Chinese medicinal materials in acupoint application combined with evidence-based supervisory methods has shown precise clinical effects in hemodialysis patients, not only by improving renal function but also significantly enhancing their quality of life.

Analysis of clinical efficacy of comprehensive nursing intervention on elderly patients with hypertension combined with hyperuricemia.

To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the comprehensive nursing intervention on elderly patients with hypertension combined with hyperuricemia. This was a retrospective study. One hundred elderly patients with hypertension combined with hyperuricemia admitted to the Baoding No.1 Central Hospital from May 2019 to May 2020 were included and randomly divided into two groups. Patients in the control group were treated with conventional nursing intervention, while those in the experimental group were treated with comprehensive nursing intervention based on the therapy in the control group. The improvement of compliance behavior, clinical efficacy, quality of life and satisfaction with hypertension combined with hyperuricemia before and after treatment were compared and analyzed between the two groups. The proportion of patients in both groups who developed gout or renal insufficiency was recorded, and their long-term treatment outcomes were compared and analyzed. After the comprehensive nursing intervention, the number of cases of compliance behaviors in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(p<0.05). The systolic and diastolic blood pressure and uric acid levels were significantly lower in the experimental group compared to the control group after the intervention(p=0.00). The scores of physical function, psychological function, social function and material life status improved significantly in the experimental group compared to the control group after the intervention(p=0.00). The satisfaction rate of the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group(p=0.02). The proportion of patients in the experimental group who developed gout was significantly lower than that in the control group(p=0.03). Comprehensive nursing intervention plays a vital role in the treatment and prognosis of hypertension combined with hyperuricemia.

Improving Bowel Function Recovery and Quality of Life in Han Chinese Patients with Spinal Cord Injuries: A Quantitative Assessment-Based Nursing Intervention Study.

BACKGROUND Neurological bowel dysfunction (NBD) due to spinal cord injuries (SCIs) is common and significantly impacts patients' quality of life. This study evaluated the efficacy of quantitative assessment-based nursing interventions on bowel function recovery, quality of life, and caregivers' satisfaction with SCI patients with NBD. MATERIAL AND METHODS The study included 418 SCI patients with NBD. Patients were categorized into 3 cohorts: quantitative assessment-based nursing intervention (QN, n=114), conventional nursing intervention (CN, n=125), or no nursing intervention (DN, n=189). The 3 cohorts were followed over a 6-month period. RESULTS At 6 months post-intervention, patients in the QN and CN cohorts showed significant reductions in symptoms of fecal incontinence, constipation, and abdominal distension compared to the DN cohort. Additionally, defecation time decreased significantly in the QN and CN cohorts compared to both initial measures and the DN cohort. Notably, patients in the QN cohort demonstrated substantial improvement in overall quality of life scores compared to baseline, CN, and DN cohorts. The QN cohort also reported marked improvement in caregivers' satisfaction, surpassing that of caregivers in the CN and DN cohorts. CONCLUSIONS Six months of quantitative assessment-based nursing interventions significantly improved bowel function, quality of life, and caregiver satisfaction in SCI patients with NBD. This intervention appears beneficial for managing NBD in SCI patients and improving their quality of life and caregiver satisfaction.

Analysis of the Role of Nursing Intervention in Operating Room in the Prevention of Incision Infection in Orthopedic Aseptic Surgery

Objective: To explore and analyze the role of nursing in the operating room in the prevention of incision infection in aseptic orthopedic surgery. Methods: 68 patients that underwent aseptic orthopedic surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022. They were divided into a research group (n = 34) and a control group (n = 34) by the random number table method. The patients in the control group received conventional nursing intervention in the operating room, and the patients in the study group received the optimized and modified nursing intervention in the operating room; then, the related indicators of nursing intervention of the two groups were compared. Results: The incidence of incision infection in the study group was lower than that of the control group (P &lt; 0.05); the average duration of surgery and length of stay the study group were lower than those in the control group (P &lt; 0.05); the stress response indexes of patients in the study group were lower than those in the control group 24 hours after operation (P &lt; 0.05); the degree of satisfaction of the patients in the study group to the services provided by the nursing staff was significantly higher than that of the control group (P &lt; 0.05). Conclusion: High-quality nursing intervention in the operating room for aseptic orthopedic surgery patients can significantly reduce the incidence of incision infection, reduce the stress response caused by surgery, shorten the duration of surgery and length of stay, and improve nursing satisfaction, which makes it worthy of popularization.

Application of comfort nursing in mother-infant room exerts beneficial effects.

To analyse the clinical application of comfort care in mother-infant room. A total of 150 cases of maternal and infant delivery in the same room were selected for the study, randomly divided into two groups, the experimental group and the control group were 75 cases. The control group took conventional nursing intervention measures, and the experimental group implemented the comfortable nursing intervention mode. Under the guidance of comfort concept, nursing management was carried out from environment, physiology, psychology and other aspects. The postpartum negative emotions, comfortable conditions, the growth and development of newborn babies and the satisfaction of nursing work were compared. After intervention, experimental group had lower scores of HAMD and HAMA as well as higher GCQ scores than those of control group (P < 0.05). The body length, body weight and head circumference of neonates, as well as nursing technology, professional service and environmental satisfaction in experimental group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). Applying the comfort nursing mode in mother-infant room can help improve the maternal physical and mental states, promote the growth and development of newborn, and markedly improve the quality and efficiency of nursing work.

Research on the effect of predictive nursing combined with psychological education on students with mania

BackgroundMania is a common psychological disease, which is often treated with drugs in clinical practice, but the effect of conventional nursing intervention is not significant. Therefore, this study tries to intervene manic students through predictive nursing and psychological education.Subjects and MethodsFrom March 2020 to March 2021, 116 manic students who entered our hospital for treatment were selected as research subjects. They were randomly divided into a routine intervention group and a joint intervention group, each containing 58 manic students. The routine intervention group was given routine nursing care in the psychiatric department of our hospital. The joint intervention group was intervened through predictive nursing and psychological education. The intervention effect was evaluated by the Bech Rafaelsdn Mania Rating Scale (BRMS) and the Global Assessment Scale (GAS).ResultsBefore the intervention, there was no significant difference in BRMS and GAS scores between the two groups (P &gt; 0.01). After the intervention, the BRMS score of the joint intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group, and the GAS score was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P &lt; 0.01). This therapy can effectively reduce the onset of mania and improve the treatment compliance of patients by changing students’ psychological cognition. This study is of great significance to the psychological intervention of manic students.
