A conceptual layout of the direct-view autostereoscopic imaging comprises a real-amplitude (hereinafter — amplitude) sum AIΣ imager and an amplitude ratio AIΞ imager. The AIΣ imager reproduces the sums of the brightness values of two adjacent image elements of the left L and right R view images. The AIΞ imager reproduces the ratio of the brightness values of the L or R adjacent view images to the sum of them. The mutual filtering of the AIΣ and AIΞ amplitude distributions during two operation cycles forms L and R full-screen resolution images in the left ZL and right ZR observation zones. The layout geometry theoretically allows to improve accommodation-convergence matching for human (observer) visual system as two informational matrices located at different distances from the observer's eyes. The AIΣ and AIΞ imagers can be implemented in the form of conventional amplitude liquid crystal (LC) matrices.
