Evaluation of the Character Education Strengthening Program in Elementary Schools in View from CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product)

This research aims to evaluate the context, input, process, and products in the character education strengthening program at SD Muhammadiyah 05 Pekanbaru. The approach used in this research was qualitative with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis techniques included reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research showed that the character education program at SD Muhammadiyah 05 Pekanbaru had proven to be effective. This can be seen from several aspects: First, the context aspect, where most of it has been fulfilled well. Program procedures, which include a clear and detailed vision, mission, goals, and background, were in accordance with community needs. It is evidenced by the increasing number of students studying and student participation in extracurricular activities, as well as student enthusiasm in carrying out character education programs. Second, is the input aspect, where most of the input components have been fulfilled properly. The majority of teachers implemented character education programs effectively. Third, the process aspect, where all components had been implemented quite well. This can be seen from the value of students' discipline and curiosity, as well as the enthusiasm of educators in guiding and directing students in implementing character education, both in the classroom and outside the classroom. Fourth, the product aspect, where most of the product components of the character education program at SD Muhammadiyah 05 Pekanbaru had shown satisfactory results. This can be seen from the instillation of character values carried out, as well as the implementation or habituation of character education carried out by each student in activities at school. Apart from that, the achievements achieved, both in the academic and non-academic fields, also showed the success of this program.

Evaluation of a Child-Friendly School Program in Developing Peace Education at KB Joglo Pati

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the child-friendly school program in developing peace education at KB Joglo Pati. The evaluation model used is CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product). Qualitative methods were used in the evaluation research. Data were collected through interviews, observations and documentation at KB Joglo Pati. The research results obtained are: (1) The implementation of the child-friendly school program is carried out in accordance with the current needs, namely to prevent violence and discrimination against children at school and in the community. (2) The child-friendly school program in KB Joglo already has good facilities and infrastructure, human resources and financial resources to support the implementation of a child-friendly school program by developing peaceful education. (3) The learning process is interactive, inspiring, and fun, inviting students to actively participate, and learning is tailored to the interests, talents, and psychological development of students by using the regenerative peace and justice curriculum. (4) The results of the implementation of the program are quite good and have shown the principles of child-friendly schools with peace education through habituation of students' attitudes or behavior. The findings of this study are important for children to learn non-aggressive education towards problems as an alternative experience to fighting, and to develop peaceful education while creating a safe and peaceful learning environment so that children are happy and fulfill their potential. EVALUATION OF READING PARK MANAGEMENT BASED ON THE CIPP MODEL IN INCREASING CHILDREN'S INTEREST IN READING

Reading parks play an important role in increasing children's interest in reading. This study aims to measure the effectiveness of reading park management in Bogor Regency, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model qualitatively. The instruments used include document studies, interviews, questionnaires, observations, and focus group discussions. Data analysis is an interactive analysis that is presented in its entirety. The results of the study describe that the evaluation of the context component is classified as good with a score of 4.03, the input component is sufficient - 3.29, the process component is sufficient - 3.40, and the product component is sufficient - 3.55. It is concluded that the evaluation of the management of reading parks in Bogor Regency is classified as "quite effective", with an average score of 3.56. There are three challenges faced by reading parks, namely 1) minimal government attention, 2) low public awareness, and 3) a small collection of books. The management of reading parks must ensure that there are readers, books, and commitment from the managers. So that reading parks can increase children's interest in reading, in addition to being a catalyst for improving the quality of human resources to boost Indonesia's Human Development Index (HDI).

A case study on evaluation of the context, input, process, product (CIPP) implementation in the child-friendly school program

This study evaluates the effectiveness of the Child-Friendly School (CFS) program at Al Mumtaz Integrated Islamic Elementary School in Pontianak using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Evaluation Model. Through field research and purposive sampling, it delves the experiences and perceptions of principals, vice-principals, students, teachers, and parents on the program's impact. The school has successfully implemented the CFS program, noted for its qualified teachers with professional educational backgrounds and a focus on religious knowledge. The context evaluation revealed that the program aligns with child-friendly school policies, receiving a very positive evaluation and documented by official decrees. Input evaluation indicates Al Mumtaz meets all criteria including qualified staff, infrastructure, educator training, and engagement from students and parents. Process evaluation highlights the school’s effectiveness in facilitating positive educational dynamics, with non-violent disciplining, affection towards students, democratic educational practices, and teachers as role models. Finally, product evaluation shows significant achievements in fostering students' holistic development across various dimensions such as honesty, tolerance, communicative skills, democracy, social concern, responsibility, environmental care, and academics. The suggestion for this school involves establishing an organizational framework within the child-friendly school initiative to facilitate the efficient allocation of responsibilities and to confirm that the program’s monitoring and evaluation procedures are conducted in a more organized and methodical manner.

Evaluation of the Excellent Class Program in Improving the Quality of Education in Junior High Schools. Muhammadiyah - Bandung

This study applies the Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) program evaluation model with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection refers to the CIPP evaluation instrument table which is compiled based on predetermined criteria, through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. Data analysis involves data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and data verification. The results show 1. Evaluation of the program context in the number of students who have talents and creativity that are facilitated more optimally. The excellent class program to create superior students and shows that Muhammadiyah schools have quality students. 2. The Input Evaluation applied includes student screening, testing, willingness to join the excellent class. 3. Evaluation of the program performance process is not optimal. The relationship between the implementer and students is going well, with full trust from the parents of students regarding student development. 4. Evaluation of the program's product results showed good achievements, although not yet fully maximized. 80% of Muhammadiyah graduates successfully continued their education to favorite state schools. The superior class program to be continued with the condition of reformulating the initial objectives of the program.

Evaluasi Pembinaan Prestasi pada Olahraga Prestasi Koni Kabupaten Dompu

The purpose of this research to evaluate on the construction of achievement coaching on KONI sport performance in Dompu Regency. This research is an evaluation study using a qualitative method, with an approach using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research subjects consisted of KONI, coaches, athletes, parents, and sport managers. The study's findings demonstrated that the level of accomplishment in terms of context-related factors for KONI's athletic performance development in the Dompu Regency falls into the category of rather good. From an input perspective, the category as a whole is sufficiently good. The category's process is deemed to be fairly good. Regarding the item in the wide range inside the favorable classification, where the performance in the regional and national competition, specifically PORPROV NTB 2023, has improved from the third place on PORPROW 2018 to the second place on PORPROV 2023. Additionally, the number of athletes from Dompu Regency has increased in PON Aceh 2024.

Construction of an Evaluation Indicator System for Civic and Political Applications in Professional Practice Courses Based on CIPP: Taking the VBSE Practical Training Course as an Example

This study takes the virtual business society environment (VBSE) practical training course as a case study and applies the theoretical framework of the context, input, process, product (CIPP) model to construct an evaluation indicator system for the application of civic and politics in professional practice courses. The context evaluation is measured from the support of the VBSE practical training course into course civic and politics, teachers’ cognition, and the integration of course objectives; the input evaluation is measured from the matching degree of teachers’ civic and political competence, and the matching degree of teaching resources; the process evaluation is measured from the degree of implementation of civic and politics teaching and the degree of students’ acceptance; and the product evaluation is measured from the degree of impact of civic and politics teaching.

Evaluation of the Implementation of the Tahfiz Al-Quran 30 Juz Program (Context, Inputs, Processes, and Products) at the Islamic Centre North Sumatra

The Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) evaluation model is important because it provides a comprehensive framework for thoroughly assessing the context, inputs, processes, and products of a program. This descriptive qualitative research aims to evaluate the implementation of the tahfiz 30 juz Al-Quran program at the North Sumatra Islamic Center using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data sources were obtained from tahfiz teachers, students, ma'had mudir, alumni, and the surrounding community and analyzed using the Miles-Huberman technique. The results of the study show that from the CIPP evaluation of the implementation of the tahfiz Al-Qur'an program at the Islamic Center of North Sumatra are: 1) Context, this program is supported by the government, schools, and the community, and is a need and part of the school's vision, mission, and goals, 2) Input, This program has competent teachers with the right teacher-student ratio (1:15) and good implementation procedures, including exam schedules, syllabus, and appropriate lesson plans, 3) The tahfiz learning process is according to plan, teachers master the material, varied methods and deposit assessment is carried out without mushaf, and 4) The product, the competence of tahfiz students is good, with the ability to read the Qur'an fluently and understand tajwid, and have noble morals that are reflected in daily behavior. It is clear that the tahfiz Al-Quran program at the North Sumatra Islamic Center runs well and effectively, is supported by various parties, has proper implementation procedures, and produces students who are competent in tahfiz and have noble character.

Construction and application of a core competitiveness evaluation index system for public health personnel training based on the CIPP model

BACKGROUND: With the change of human disease spectrum and the increase of public emergencies, the public’s demand for health services and health is gradually increasing and higher expectations are placed on public health personnel. OBJECTIVE: Research needs to establish a comprehensive system of evaluation indices for accurate assessment of the core competencies of public health personnel, to enhance their core competitiveness, and introduce novel approaches to evaluate talent development in the field of public health. METHODS: The study is based on the CIPP (Context Input Process Product) model and uses literature analysis, semi-structured interviews, and Delphi methods to construct an evaluation index system for the core competitiveness of public health talent cultivation. The entropy method is used to determine the weight of the model evaluation index. Finally, the improved Artistic Be Colony algorithm (ABC) is used to optimize the BP network, and apply it to evaluate the core competitiveness of public health talent cultivation. RESULTS: The improved BP network achieved the target accuracy within 11 iterations, with the optimal value observed after 16 iterations, producing an MSE (Mean Square Error) value of 10–13. The evaluation of the index system reported a 97% accuracy, and upon application to the university’s public health training programme, nearly 50% of students and teachers achieved core competitiveness quality scores above 90. CONCLUSIONS: The aforementioned method suggests that it can proficiently assess the fundamental competitiveness of training for public health personnel and offer guidance for future development in the domain of public health.

CIPP MODEL IN THE LEARNING - TEACHING PROCESS

The CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) Program Evaluation Model was developed by Daniel Stufflebeam and is widely used in the evaluation of educational programs. This model provides comprehensive information to decision makers, ensuring effective and efficient evaluation of programs. The CIPP Model consists of four key components: Context assessment identifies program needs and objectives; input evaluation analyzes required resources and strategies; process evaluation monitors and evaluates program implementation; Product evaluation measures program results and impacts. The CIPP Model in education plays an important role in increasing student success and improving the quality of education by contributing to the continuous improvement of programs. Benefits of the model include comprehensive evaluation, providing feedback, and guiding improvement processes. However, there are some limitations that should be taken into consideration in the application of the model.

Evaluation of the CIPP Model on the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP 2 Palembayan

By using of the CIPP evaluation model of SMP 2 Palembayan, this research seeks to study the application of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model, students learning outcomes in the field of English. This test is a subjective exploration that uses the CIPP model by assessing each part of the setting, information, interactions, and items to achieve a continuously evolving experience. English teachers, curriculum representatives, and the principal at SMP 2 Palembayan served as the data sources for the study. Observation instruments were used to collect primary data, and interviews and photographs were used to collect secondary data. After that, the observation data was analyzed quantitatively, while the interviews and data analysis were analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that the conditions for implementing learning and learning activities at SMP 2 Palembayan were said to be very effective when learning was carried out.

Evaluation Of the Cipp Model Program in Implementing the Toefl Test at Upt Universitas Sembilanbelas November Kolaka

This research aims to evaluate the implementation of the TOEFL test at Sembilanbelas November University Kolaka using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. The research method used is evaluation research with a qualitative approach. This research sample involved the Language UPT of Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University as the research subject, with a focus on the implementation of the TOEFL test and related programs. Data was obtained through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The collected data was analyzed using the data analysis model from Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing stages. The research results show that the implementation of the TOEFL test at the UPT Bahasa Sembilanbelas November Kolaka University has several weaknesses, especially related to inadequate physical facilities, lack of training for instructors, and lack of flexibility in the test implementation schedule. Despite this, the program was successful in improving participants' English language skills, although there is still a need to focus more on developing broader practical and communication skills. This evaluation provides recommendations for improvement and further development in the implementation of the TOEFL test program, with the hope that these steps will improve the quality of test implementation and provide a greater contribution to students' academic and professional progress.

Context, Input, Process, Product (CIPP) Model Evaluation of the Sports, Health and Physical Education Learning Program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Indonesia

The aims of this study was evaluate the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency based on the aspects of context, input, process, and product model. The subjects of this evaluation were school principals, sports, health and physical education teachers, and students at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling, with the criteria: respondents who are willing to be the sample and fill out a questionnaire from the researcher. The sample consisted of 1 school principal, 3 sports, health and physical education teachers, and 30 students with details of 10 students in class X, 10 students in class XI, and 10 students in class XII. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data were analyzed with descriptive quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that the evaluation of the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency was 2.47 (poor). Based on each evaluation component, the following conclusions were obtained. (1) Context evaluation of the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency, at 2.70 was good. (2) The input for the evaluation of the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency, was 2.41 (poor). (3) The evaluation process for the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency, was 2.35(poor). (4) Product evaluation of the sports, health and physical education learning program at Senior High School 1 Tanjungpandan, Belitung Regency was 2.29 (poor).

User interface design of context-input-process-product evaluation application based on weighted product

This study aimed to show the user interface design form of the <br /> context-input-process-product (CIPP) evaluation application based on weighted product as a measuring tool for the effectiveness level of blended learning in health colleges. This research approach was development research. The development model used was Borg and Gall. It focused on the design stage, initial trials, and revisions. The initial test of the user interface design involved 32 respondents. The tool for conducting it was in the form of a questionnaire, which contains 16 questions. The research was at the health colleges in Buleleng Regency. The data analysis technique of the initial test results was quantitative descriptive. It compared the percentage level of user interface design quality from the weighted product-based CIPP evaluation application with a quality standard which referred to a five scale. The results of this study indicated that the quality of the user interface design was relatively good. The research result’s impact on educational evaluation was new knowledge for pedagogic evaluators in maximizing the development of digital-based evaluation tools by integrating the decision support system method (weighted product) with the educational evaluation model (CIPP model).

Pengembangan Model Pembelajaran Terpadu untuk Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini

Early Childhood Islamic Religious Education (PIAUD) plays an important role in shaping the character and religious understanding of early childhood. However, ensuring the quality of Islamic education in the early stages of a child's development poses significant challenges. To overcome this problem, research was conducted to design and test a PIAUD integrated learning evaluation management model based on Islamic values. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The research methodology used is collaborative action research (CAR) with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) approach. This research collects data through various methods such as observation, interviews, and document analysis. The research results show that applying this evaluation model can significantly increase students' understanding of religious concepts and encourage character development. In addition, this research highlights the importance of collaboration between educational institutions, parents and the community to support the PIAUD learning evaluation process. Overall, this research provides valuable insights into improving the quality of Islamic education for children and underscores the important role of collaborative efforts in achieving this goal.

Assessing the Impact of Remote Learning on Learning Competencies of Senior High School Students in the Health Optimizing Physical Education (HOPE) Program

This study examined the impact of remote learning on the competencies of learning objectives within the HOPE program for Grades 11 and 12 students in Mabalacat City. Using a quantitative-descriptive survey design with 12 PE teachers and coordinators, the study employed the Context-Input-Process-Product (CIPP) model to evaluate the program’s effectiveness, focusing on the “product” aspect. Findings revealed positive outcomes, with students exceeding their learning objectives in key areas aligned with the K-12 curriculum. Students successfully demonstrated an understanding of physical activity’s role in stress management and engagement in moderate-to-vigorous activities. They also displayed an advanced grasp of personal safety protocols, suggesting readiness for potential careers in health and fitness. These findings contribute to the understanding of remote learning’s potential in achieving physical education goals. Further research could explore the long-term impact of these approaches and their applicability to wider contexts, informing curriculum development and educational policy decisions.

An Evaluation of Boarding School Curriculum Implementation in Aceh

The purpose of this article is to evaluate the implementation of the boarding school curriculum at MTsS Nurul Falah, West Aceh Regency. This article uses the CIPP (Context-Input-Process-Product) model evaluation method developed by Stufflebeam. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, questionnaires, interviews and document studies related to the boarding school curriculum. Data analysis uses the opinion of Miles and Haberman, namely data reduction, data display, drawing conclusions and data verification. The research results indicate that the implementation of the boarding school curriculum at MTsS Nurul Falah in West Aceh District has been running well and in accordance with the standard set by the foundation and the government. In the future, to bring forth new innovations in implementing the boarding school curriculum, there is a need for continuous guidance and specialized training for the teachers of dayah/boarding schools to optimize the quality of the learning process and the educational outcomes. The results of this study can provide input for the headmasters of madrasahs and the heads of the Ministry of Religious Affairs offices in making decisions related to improving the quality of education.

Evaluation of Young Trio Football School (SSB) Development

Research This aim do evaluation of coaching School Trio Muda Football uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model Study This use Mix Method. Object evaluation is SSB Trio Muda. Five Administrators , Five Coaches and 15 Parents athlete chosen in a way on purpose For fill in questionnaire and one from each aspect of SSB Trio Muda ( Manager , Coach , Parents Athletes ) as participant interview . Data collection was carried out as following : (1) do observation , observing news about object evaluate , observe activities at SSB , training and matches team , (2) do documentation , (3) implementing charging questionnaire and (4) carry out interview with 3 participants . Validation Instrument using 'Expert Judgment' and quantitative data analysis with using SPSS, then quantitative and qualitative data done triangulation. Criteria success used for do evaluate each CIPP component with four categories: Very Good, Good, Poor and Very Poor. With combined CIPP analysis with coaching indicators, obtained results evaluation from context aspect which includes; background behind; objective coaching; coaching program including category good with value 3.11. In terms of input which includes; funding; means infrastructure; source Power human and parental supportincluding category good with value 3.00. In terms of process which includes; program implementation and coordination including category good with value 3.23. In terms of products which include achievement and well-being including category Good with value 2.98. So that can concluded coaching School Football (SSB) Young Trio incl in category Good.

Instrument model to evaluate children-friendly school program at elementary school in Indonesia

This study aims to develop an instrument to evaluate Indonesia’s children-friendly school program (CFSP). This development research is then used to evaluate CFSP in Indonesia. Instrument development using the context, input, process, product (CIPP) approach and outcome evaluation. The population of this study was all students in the provinces of Riau and Yogyakarta. The research sample is of the students taken randomly from 108 schools that run CFSP. Data analysis used content validity, construct analysis, construct reliability, and descriptive statistics to evaluate the current CFSP. The content validity result shows that only 50 can be used of 56 of the developed items. The construct validity analysis result shows that all indicators obtained from theoretical exploration are valid and reliable. The model fit test shows that the instruments and data obtained from the respondents fit statistically. The results of the evaluation analysis show that the CFSP has been running well, but three indicators are still at a poor level and need to be improved so that the CFSP can run optimally. Indicators needing improvement are the completeness of documents and indicators of student participation, parental participation, community institutions, and the business world. This instrument became the new product to evaluate completely CFSP program because this instrument evaluates not only the process or implementation program but also every process until the program's outcome. Recommendations that need to be considered by stakeholders are to improve CFSP performance so that CFSP can maximally develop student character.

Evaluation of teaching factory using CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model to improve vocational high school students' skills

Teaching Factory (TEFA) is a program that provides a real learning experience for students. Students are taught simulation of job sheet practice, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship. This research examines the feasibility of teaching factories regarding context, input, process, and product. This research uses mixed methods, namely qualitative research supported by descriptive quantitative data. The research was conducted in vocational high schools in East Java Province, Indonesia. The population of this research used a sample size based on the empirical formula from Isaac and Michael. The results showed that: (1) Based on the context, the teaching factory follows the vision and mission of the school and the demand from the community, business, and industry. Production planning achieved a score of 2.825 with a good category, based on the learning questionnaire; (2) Teaching factory learning in VHSs is appropriate in terms of the readiness of buildings and teachers by VHSs, the completeness of facilities, and the readiness of students in attitudes and competencies to get a score of 2.855 with a good category; (3) Based on the process, the learning is appropriate in terms of workshop layout, student activities, product quality control, and practical activities getting a score of 2.825 with a good category; and (4) The evaluation results, concluded that the learning is appropriate in terms of workshop layout, student activities, product quality control, and practical activities getting a score of 2.855 with a good category. The results of this evaluation study can be used to contribute to developing and improving existing programs to make them better.
