PRIMARY SCHOOL EDUCATION LEVEL EVALUATION OF THE WEDNESDAY READING MOVEMENT (GERABA) PROGRAMME

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the GERABA (Wednesday Reading Movement) program, supporting factors as well as inhibiting factors and input as improvements to the program. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative by applying the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) evaluation model. The subjects in this study were school principals and teachers who were involved in implementing the Wednesday Reading Movement (GERABA) program at Sarakan 2 Public Elementary School. Data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and document study. The results of the context research analysis show that the implementation of the GERABA program at SD Negeri Sarakan 2 which is carried out routinely every Wednesday has not been able to increase students' interest in reading, while the input by the facilities and infrastructure is considered inadequate. In the process component which includes retelling up to the library visit it is still difficult to do, and in the product component the expected output has not been optimally achieved.

Supporting Akreditasi LAM Teknik: Evaluasi Implementasi MBKM di Fakultas Saintek UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta

The fulfillment of the students’ rights to study for three semesters outside study programs is one program of Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) or Freedom to Learn-Independent Campus policy. The MBKM program has begun to be implemented at the Faculty of Science and Technology (Saintek) UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta for almost 4 semesters. An evaluation has been conducted using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) evaluation model to assess its effectiveness. The results of the evaluation indicate that the program has had a positive impact on student achievement, although it has not yet met the standard for LAM Engineering accreditation that is having a certain number of outbound participants with a minimum of 20 credits. However, the program is trending in a positive direction, and it is hoped that it will continue to improve and provide benefits for all stakeholders particularly in support of LAM Engineering accreditation assessments.

The Evaluation Of Leadership Role In Improving The Quality Of Education At Al Fida Qur'an Islamic Boarding School

Abstract: Leadership has experienced difficult roles such as educators, managers, administrators, supervisors, and motivators in improving the quality of education, characterized by difficulties recruiting new students even schools are closed or schools disband. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the role of leadership in improving the quality of education in Pesantren Qur'an Al Fida. Using descriptive-qualitative methods, with a CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) model approach. Primary data sources obtained through direct observation in the field, and secondary data obtained through pesantren leadership report documents, representatives, teachers, and pesantren administration personnel through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data analysis using library research, by studying, collecting and processing data from various literature sources, both journals and books. The results of the study concluded that the evaluation of the role of leadership in improving the quality of education in the Qur'an Al-fia Islamic Boarding School. The contex stage has been carried out its leadership role. The input stage of pesantren leaders has a good influence, namely, providing life examples, paying attention, developing the potential of education staff and teachers, through education and training both seminars, workshops, webinars, providing motivation and a better vision and mission for the future. At the stage of the process, pesantren leaders make adjustments between programs that have been planned to improve the quality of education including improving teacher performance, involving students. The product stage, has implemented a teacher performance improvement program, comfortable learning for students, so that students excel both provincially and nationally. So it can be suggested that if you want to improve the quality of Qur'an Al Fida pesantren education, then increase the role of leadership.Keywords: Evaluation, Leadership Role, Quality of Education, Pesantren Qur'an Al Fida.

Evaluation of Training Program for the Taskforce of Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling in Higher Education with Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) Model

Based on several studies, sexual violence in higher education institutions remains a critical issue. To overcome this, the government enacts Regulation Number 30 of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology for the year 2021 on Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling in Higher Education. This regulation obliges universities in Indonesia to form a Task Force, the so-called Satuan Tugas PPKS or PPKS Task Force. This regulation stipulates that each member of the task force attend training organized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (MoECRT). This study aims to evaluate the PPKS Task Force training program organized by MoECRT. The evaluation of the PPKS task force training was carried out using the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) learning program evaluation. This study uses a quantitative approach and data were collected through questionnaires involving training participants as the respondents. According to the data response in all components of the training (i.e., context, input, process, and product), lecturers were more optimistic that the knowledge and skills gained through this training can be used as initial knowledge on the prevention and handling of sexual violence than students and the education staff. Based on the research findings, the following suggestions were developed for the implementation of the task force training program in the future: (1) the advanced training curriculum in the future needs to pay attention to differences in ability or understanding between lecturers, students, and education staff, and (2) there is a need for further in-depth research to map the training needs for more advanced knowledge about the prevention and handling of sexual violence for each element of the task force (lecturers, students, and education staff).

Evaluasi Kurikulum Qawa’id dengan Model CIPP di Madrasah Diniyyah Salafiyyah 4 Al-Munawwir Krapyak

Madrasah Diniyyah Salafiyyah 4 is an educational institution whose curriculum contains many programs that support Qawa'id mastery. This study uses a qualitative approach and is a type of evaluation research using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model by Stufflebeam. This study aims to determine the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Qawa'id curriculum in Madrasah Diniyyah Salafiyyah 4. In general, the management and organization of Madrasah Diniyyah Salafiyyah 4 has been made and implemented very well, but the results of the research show that the procedure for accepting non-student students mukim which is still unclear, there are several inadequate classes, teachers who do not make lesson plans independently, grade level is not yet high, students are not active enough, use of technology as a support for learning. The development and implementation of the curriculum has been very well designed and neatly structured, but there are several things that need to be evaluated, namely the involvement of students in passive learning and the use of media sources.

Evaluasi Implementasi Program Ekstrakurikuler Pramuka di SDN Poris Pelawad 3 Kota Tangerang Banten

This thesis aims to identify, analyze and evaluate the Scout extra-curricular program at SDN Poris Pelawad 3, Cipondoh District, Tangerang City, Banten. The method used is a qualitative method. Collecting data using observation, interviews and documentation. Interviews were conducted with school principals, teachers, school committees, parents and students. Evaluation analysis uses the CIPP (Context Input Process and Product) evaluation model. The research in this thesis is motivated by the lack of efficiency in the mandatory Scout extracurricular activities, and the role of teachers in motivating activities in the implementation of activities that take place every week is felt to be less than optimal and efficient. It can be seen that very few students are interested in joining scout exercises. The results obtained from this research are because students do not yet have values or norms of noble character. The input varies because students come from economic, social, cultural and educational backgrounds and the facilities and infrastructure are still inadequate. The process has been good, because all scout activities or work programs have been implemented properly, as evidenced by the several group achievements achieved by SD Negeri PorisPelawad 3 Tangerang. The product of students at SD Negeri Poris Pelawad 3 Tangerang got achievements but that was in groups, if as an individual, SD students still lack achievement. The real results that are felt by students, teachers and parents are the development of good character values of students after participating in extracurricular activities.

Evaluating Training and Apprenticeship as Non-Formal Education at International Manpower Development Japan

This study aims to analyze the evaluation results of the implementation of training and apprenticeships at IM Japan. This study used a qualitative approach using the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) model. The number of participants was 150 from Bekasi, West Java, Lampung, and Central Java. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documents. Data analysis in this study went through data reduction, data presentation, discussion, and conclusion. The findings showed that the context and input aspects were considered quite good, with a percentage value of 22% each; the process aspect was considered very good, with a percentage rate of 49%, and the product aspect must be improved in alumni associations so that they could develop networks for alumni or participants training and apprenticeship related to workforce needs. The results of this study have implications that the process of non-formal education is an essential support for students, especially students in vocational schools so that their skills are qualified and meet the quality targets of the business world.

Evaluation of The COVID-19 Vaccination Program for the Elderly in the Rawalo Health Center With the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, And Product) Model

Rawalo sub-district had a relatively high number of COVID-19 cases compared to other sub-districts in Banyumas Regency. The government provides COVID-19 vaccination which aims to reduce the number of COVID-19 cases by forming Herd Immunity in the community. The elderly are a group at high risk of morbidity and mortality due to exposure to COVID-19. However, the coverage of COVID-19 vaccination for the elderly at the Rawalo Health Center is still relatively low. This study was aimed to evaluate the program with the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) model in a complex and comprehensive manner regarding how the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination program in the elderly. This research was a qualitative study with a descriptive approach using observation and in-depth interview methods selected by purposive sampling technique. The research subjects as the main informants included the Head of the Puskesmas, the Head of the COVID-19 Vaccination Program Team, the COVID-19 Vaccination Coordinator and health cadres. Meanwhile, the elderly group and the Banyumas Regency Health Office as triangulation informants. The results showed that vaccination coverage in the elderly was still low, at 10% for dose 3. This was due to less thorough education, lack of human resources (vaccination officers), and ineffective coordination, there is data that is not synchronous or valid. There are technical and non-technical obstacles in recording and reporting. Thus, improvements need to be made to aspects that affect the vaccination implementation process and low coverage.

Penerapan Evaluasi CIPP (Context, Input, Process,Product) Dalam Program Rintisan Madrasah Unggul Di MTsN 1 Yogyakarta

Evaluation is an important activity to carry out because it is a starting point to determine the decisions and policies that will be taken as a determinant of the direction of the course of a program. This article examines the application of CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation in the superior madrasah pilot program at MTsN 1 Yogyakarta. This research method uses field research, namely field research at MTsN 1 Yogyakarta by interviewing several respondents, field observations, and documentation analysis using data in the form of documents and related data sources contained in MTsN 1 Yogyakarta. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman method is by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions or verifying data. Based on the results of research that the superior madrasah pilot program at MTsN 1 Yogyakarta can be considered to have been carried out in accordance with the intended purpose of the program, this is evidenced by the achievements achieved by students who are members of a special superior class that they have been able to make a work product that is in the form of goods such as electric masks, non-chemical handsanitizers, also in terms of scientific papers contested at the provincial and national levels. Although it has been considered successfully realized, there are several things that must be improved and improved, namely related to the human resources of educators who must be trained to be qualified in the field of scientific research.

Applying Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) Model for Course Evaluation

The main purpose of this study was to evaluate the course titled ELT Pedagogy and Materials from the M.Ed. III semester programme of education under Tribhuvan University by using context, input, process and product (CIPP) model. The evaluation process had gone through qualitative research method using purposively selected five M.Ed. graduates and a course teacher as research participants for data collection. The data was obtained through semi-structured interview and story of everyday class experience of research participants to have an in-depth understanding of their phenomenon. The result indicated that the course has sufficiently identified the needs of secondary level teachers but there seems a lack of coordination between theory and practice. Both students and teachers agreed that objectives of the course are very realistic. However, micro context could not be covered such as lack of focusing in rural context of English language teaching (ELT) and also teachers could not come out from stereotypical teaching pedagogy, brought a sort of disappointment regarding the course and its outcome. Hence, this study implies the worth of implication of CIPP model for programme evaluation and helps to mitigate its pedagogical challenges for better teaching and learning outcomes.

EVALUATIVE STUDY: LITERACY OUTREACH PROGRAM BASED ON LOCAL WISDOM AT SDN 1 APUAN BANGLI

This study evaluates literacy achievement programs based on local wisdom at SD Negeri 1 Apuan. The evaluation model used is the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) with a qualitative descriptive approach. The research data source documents are education reports and local wisdom-based literacy achievement programs—data collected by interview, observation, and document study. The research respondents were the headmaster, teachers, and students. Data were analyzed by descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that: (1) context evaluation, the scope of the school literacy movement includes the school's physical environment, social and affective environment, as well as the academic environment; (2) input evaluation, including human resources for school principals, teachers, education staff, and supporting infrastructure; (3) process evaluation, program implementation includes three activities namely habituation, development, and learning; and (4) product evaluation, including students' understanding of local wisdom, is getting better, literacy skills in educational report cards are still low, teachers' concern for improving students' literacy outcomes is increasing, and school members are actively involved in school literacy program activities.
 
 

Multisensory reading promotion in academic libraries.

To confront college students' new reading patterns and the continuous decline in academic library borrowing rates, we conducted empirical research on promoting multisensory reading as a way to attract students' attention, and to stimulate interest in, and promote the practice of, reading through a library program called "Reading Today Listening Everyday" (RTLE) on a library's WeChat public account. The program involved 48 librarians and 105 students who were recruited into different groups to co-create, edit and release multisensory tweets every workday. Multisensory contents including text-based content, audio-based content and emotional resonance were presented to evoke readers' visual, audio, and emotional senses to induce more reading practice. Using the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) evaluation method, the multisensory presentation in RTLE program was proven to be effective in promoting library reading with a high number of tweeted page views and an increased borrowing rate for recommended books. In 2020, 269 issues accompanied by 269 audio frequencies garnered 80,268 page views, depending on the caliber of the reading promoter out of the 48 librarians and 52 student anchors behind it. The 484 RTLE-recommended books were borrowed 113 times in 2020, which was a rate 1.46 times higher than in 2019 (77 times). The analysis of the relationship between tweet views and borrowing rates for recommended books indicates that more page views indicate greater reader interest, leading to increased borrowing. From readers' feedback and comments, the gain afforded by multisensory reading can improve higher-level reading trends such as the number of reading interests, enjoyment, engagement, etc.

Evaluation of Teacher Education Curricula and its relevance to licensure examination using Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) model

This study aimed to evaluate the relevance of the teacher education curricula of one state university in Samar Philippines to the national licensure examination for teachers. To this end, the CIPP (context, input, process, and product) evaluation model developed by Stufflebeam was employed. Documentary analysis of course catalog, interviews with the teachers and students as well as focus group discussion of graduates who took the exam were employed to gather data. Based on the experiences and viewpoint of the student-participants, there are areas for improvement of the curricula in terms of its relevance to the licensure examinations. The evaluation revealed mismatches and discrepancies of the curricula to the professional examination. It is recommended that an effective curricula should ensure that student graduates can depend on its content in order to hurdle licensure examination competencies. Hence to sustain its relevance, it entails constant upgrading of the curricula which involve both the faculty and the students.

The Context, Input, Process, and Product Evaluation Model on English Language Teaching at Public Health Study Program

Evaluation of English teaching is carried out to determine the achievement of program objectives and provide recommendations for program improvement. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of English Language Teaching to identify its effectiveness in achieving the objectives of the Public Health Study Program curriculum. In this study, the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) evaluation model was applied. This research was conducted at the Public Health Study Program, Faculty of Sport and Public Health, Mandalika University of Education. The population in this study was the first semester students of Public Health study program in the amount of 133 students. In determining the number of samples, there were 46 students chosen as samples by using simple random sampling technique, and 1 English lecturer and the Head of Public Health study program as the participants in this study. This study was an evaluative study utilizing a mixed-method research design. The data gained from the questionnaire were analysed by using descriptive quantitative whereas, the data obtained from interview and class observation were analysed qualitatively. Based on the findings of the study, it was found that for context dimension got a Percentage of Effectiveness of 78.52; input dimension got a Percentage of Effectiveness of 59.47; process dimension got a Percentage of Effectiveness of 76.74, and product dimension got a Percentage of Effectiveness of 51.86. Based on the result of the study, it was concluded that the implementation of teaching English in Public Health study program has not been effective. It is recommended that language skills and language components are integrated since those elements can support communication ability stated in the curriculum of Public Health study program.

EVLAUASI PROGRAM PEMBERIAN F100, SIROP BESI DAN PEMBERIAN MAKANAN TAMBAHAN (PMT) PADA BALITA GIZI BURUK DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS REMBANG 2

Based on Riskesdas 2018, the proportion of undernutrition and malnutrition nationally is 17.7%. While in the RPJM 2019 is 17% and RPJM 2020-2024 is 7%. Malnourished children under five years in Rembang Regancy in 2018 was ranked 7th , namely 8.4%. Meanwhile at Rembang 2 health care center in 2020 there were 0.93% and 2021 1.37% malnutrition children. One of the program to resolve malnourised is F100, Iron Syrup and Suplementary Feeding Program. The purpose of the study was to evaluate of F100, Iron Syrup and Suplementary Feeding Program for malnourished children under five years in Rembang 2 Health Care Center using the context, input, prosess, and product (CIPP) method. The research was qualitative with descriptive approach. Informants were selected by purposive sampling consisting of 4 main informants and 5 triangulated informants. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and documentation. The instruments used are observation guidelines, interview guidelines, recording devices, and cameras. Analysis data used are data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclutions. The result the implementation of the program with CIPP component had not run optimally and there are discrepancies with the guidelines, such as in determining the target children under five years using BB/U index, limited human resource, lack of parental role, and recepvity low of food in children. The F100, Iron Syrup and Suplementary Feeding Program (PMT) seen form context, input, process and product (CIPP) have problems that still need to be fixed, so the program would be maximal.

Immigration Biometric Data Exchange Among Asean Member States: Opportunities and Challenges in Legislations

Biometric data can be described as data containing human physical characteristics. They can be in the form of fingerprint data, retina scans, and voice recognition. The application of biometrics for immigration purposes reduce the number of terrorism case and illegal migrants in the European Union (EU) territory and the United States. In 2013, biometric data exchange in ASEAN was made possible with the Bali Process Protocol. By a qualitative research methodology, using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) analysis, this research attempts to find the legal obstacles as the main barriers in implementing biometric data exchange in the ASEAN region. This study finds that not all ASEAN countries have laws on personal data protection, which affect the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to how the biometric data will be retrieved, processed, and managed, as well as the actions required if there is a violation of the law related to the SOP. This study suggests that ASEAN can accommodate the EU’s framework, by using the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as a single standard in the application of Data Protection regulations for the biometric data exchange system in ASEAN.

EVALUASI PROGRAM LITERASI ALQUR’AN BERBASIS MODEL CIPP (STUDI SMAN 6 BULUKUMBA SULAWESI SELATAN)

This study aims to describe the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the Qur'an literacy program at SMAN 6 Bulukumba based on the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with subject data sources from the principal, vice principal of student affairs, the Alqur'an literacy team, PAI teachers, and Alqur'an literacy program assistants, using interview, documentation and observation instruments. Data were analyzed using qualitative data analysis techniques. Research results: 1) Context Evaluation; The purpose of implementing the Qur'an literacy program is in accordance with the needs of students and schools, and for the development of the Qur'an literacy program, SMAN 6 Bulukumba has collaborated with related institutions and agencies. 2) Input Evaluation; the implementation of the literacy program in the form of activity planning stages, understanding of teachers and students in program management, availability of infrastructure, was carried out well although it had to be improved in human resources such as the competence of accompanying teachers, utilization of facilities, program preparation, financing of training and program development. 3) Process Evaluation; In the implementation of the Alqur'an literacy program, the time and place have changed due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the principal has been very good at monitoring although it has not touched funding in the context of program development. 4) Product Evaluation; the implementation of the Alqur'an literacy program shows the suitability of targets and results, changes in students' interest in reading the Qur'an intensively, increases in learning outcomes to read the Qur'an and student achievement in the religious field.

Evaluasi Program Pendidikan Dan Pelatihan Calon Kepala Madrasah Melalui Metode On The Job Training

The implementation of educational and training evaluations (training) on human resources in the educational organization environment is a necessity. The most prominent weakness of resources in the madrasa environment is the managerial competence of the madrasa head which is not supported by adequate educational qualifications and qualified leadership capacity. Another study said the success of a madrasa was an achievement of a madrasa head. The training program for madrasah head candidates with the on the job training method has been officially organized by the Education and Training Center for Education and Technical Personnel training in Education and Religion based on the Regulation of the Minister of Religion (PMA) Number 58 of 201. The results of the study stated that the training program for madrasah head candidates through the on the job training method can be applied and is very good because participants have had good knowledge and skills beforehand which are processed through madrasah leadership practices. Once they follow the training, those skills can be applied and continued. Based on the results of the evaluation through the EVALUATION OF CIPP (Context, Input, Process and Product) shows that the training program for prospective madrasah heads has a high success rate

Effectiveness of Conventional Teaching (CT) and Video Assisted Teaching (VAT) on Neonatal Endotracheal Intubation in Terms of Knowledge and Practice among Nursing Students

Introduction: Birth of a child is a special moment of joy for the parents but the first few minutes after birth are full of concern and rapid physiological adaptation. Most babies go through the transition successfully as a matter of routine, however, 10% of babies who do not start breathing immediately and need special care to initiate breathing. Aims & Objectives: The aim of the study was to assess the knowledge and practices among nursing students. The conceptual framework of the study was based on CIPP (context, input, process and product) model by Stufflebeam. Methodology & Theoretical Orientation: The research approach adopted for the study was quasi-experimental and design was non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The study was at College and Institute of Nursing, Ambala, Haryana. A total of 64 BSc third year nursing students who were in the age group of 19-24 years selected by simple random technique and conveniently assigned into CT (n=32) and VAT (n=32) group. The tool used for the study consisted of structured performa regarding sample characteristics, structured questionnaire and structured observational checklist to assess the knowledge and practices of students. Data collection was done in January 2017. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used to analyze the data. Findings: The major findings revealed that within the groups the post test scores were significantly higher than the pre-test scores in both the groups whereas, in comparison, the mean post-test knowledge score of CT group (21.50±3.09) was nearly equal to the mean post-test score of VAT group (21.16±4.07) and mean post-test practice score of CT group (32.47±5.14) was slightly higher than the mean post-test score of VAT group (29.61±6.46) but computed ‘t’ value of mean post-test knowledge and practice score of both CT and VAT group (0.38, 1.90) were found to be statistically non-significant at 0.05 level of significance. Conclusion & Significance: Both CT and VAT were found to be equally effective in improving knowledge and practices of nursing students regarding neonatal ET intubation. So, VAT can be combined with CT to enhance better learning and skill development of nursing students. Evaluasi Program Kegiatan Belajar Mengajar Mata Pelajaran Pendidikan Jasmani Masa Pandemi Covid-19

This study was conducted to find out how the teaching and learning program for physical education subjects at Madrasah Aliyah (MA) throughout Pekalongan City during the corona virus pandemic. The research design uses an evaluative approach using the Context, Input, Process and Product (CIPP) method. Data were collected through interview, observation and research methods with qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that in general the teaching and learning program for physical subjects in MA in Pekalongan City has been going well with the policies of the government although it has not been fully implemented to its full potential. Context, the material that has been delivered in accordance with the curriculum. Input, teacher qualifications are quite appropriate, infrastructure is quite good but limited and students are not in accordance with the attendance list. The process, KBM is carried out boldly and scheduled face-to-face, with good administration. Product, learning outcomes are in accordance with completeness even though aspects of skills (psychomotor) are still lacking. Teachers need to learn to improve the online learning, assessment and assessment system during the Covid-19 pandemic to further improve student competence.
