Hybrid genre forms in Yakut poetry of the second half of the twentieth century: specifics and design features

The purpose of the study is to determine the specifics of the formation and construction of hybrid structures as original genre forms of Yakut poetry of the second half of the twentieth century. The scientific novelty consists in an attempt to comprehensively study the specifics of genre synthesis in Yakut poetry from the point of view of new methodological approaches to the systematic and typological study of the problem of stable contextual structures. As a result, it is proved that the poetic texts of Ivan Gogolev – "Writing on the tusk of a mammoth", "Song of Lena" are unique examples of synthesized, hybrid genre forms of a cycle-poem and a mounting polycyclic structure. The contamination of the genre possibilities of the poetic cycle and the poem within the framework of an integral artistic structure makes it possible to characterize texts from the perspective of a qualitatively new meta-genre status for Yakut literature

Gallium Oxide for Gas Sensor Applications: A Comprehensive Review.

Ga2O3 has emerged as a promising ultrawide bandgap semiconductor for numerous device applications owing to its excellent material properties. In this paper, we present a comprehensive review on major advances achieved over the past thirty years in the field of Ga2O3-based gas sensors. We begin with a brief introduction of the polymorphs and basic electric properties of Ga2O3. Next, we provide an overview of the typical preparation methods for the fabrication of Ga2O3-sensing material developed so far. Then, we will concentrate our discussion on the state-of-the-art Ga2O3-based gas sensor devices and put an emphasis on seven sophisticated strategies to improve their gas-sensing performance in terms of material engineering and device optimization. Finally, we give some concluding remarks and put forward some suggestions, including (i) construction of hybrid structures with two-dimensional materials and organic polymers, (ii) combination with density functional theoretical calculations and machine learning, and (iii) development of optical sensors using the characteristic optical spectra for the future development of novel Ga2O3-based gas sensors.

Reuse of construction spoil in China: Current status and future opportunities

The problem of construction spoil in China is severe and poses another great problem: how to reuse it in environmentally safe ways. This paper investigates various disposal methods of construction spoil in China, including the conventional landfill, foundation treatment, artificial hill, and subgrade. In addition, two new techniques for reusing construction spoil to produce soil-cement and sinter brick are reviewed and discussed. The resource management, application and development of soil cement are studied. Then, the history and current situation of the brick industry as well as the progress of research into sintered bricks is reviewed in detail. The future opportunities for creating sintered brick using construction spoil are explored, including the production of high porosity brick, highly compacted face brick, specially shaped bricks, construction of hybrid structures using sintered bricks, reinforced grouting components, and prefabricated components. From the perspective of life cycle assessment (LCA), the environmental benefits of using disposal technology for construction spoil are analyzed. And the ecological pros and cons of sintered bricks made from construction spoil are presented. Finally, constructive suggestions and recommendations for the brick sintering industry are presented.

Rationally Designed Three-Layered Cu2 S@Carbon@MoS2 Hierarchical Nanoboxes for Efficient Sodium Storage.

Hybrid materials, integrating the merits of individual components, are ideal structures for efficient sodium storage. However, the construction of hybrid structures with decent physical/electrochemical properties is still challenging. Now, the elaborate design and synthesis of hierarchical nanoboxes composed of three-layered Cu2 S@carbon@MoS2 as anode materials for sodium-ion batteries is reported. Through a facile multistep template-engaged strategy, ultrathin MoS2 nanosheets are grown on nitrogen-doped carbon-coated Cu2 S nanoboxes to realize the Cu2 S@carbon@MoS2 configuration. The design shortens the diffusion path of electrons/Na+ ions, accommodates the volume change of electrodes during cycling, enhances the electric conductivity of the hybrids, and offers abundant active sites for sodium uptake. By virtue of these advantages, these three-layered Cu2 S@carbon@MoS2 hierarchical nanoboxes show excellent electrochemical properties in terms of decent rate capability and stable cycle life.

Hydrophilic co-assemblies of two hydrophobic biomolecules improving the bioavailability of silybin.

Benefitting from the versatility and biocompatibility of food sourced materials, the construction of hybrid structures via their molecular interplay generates novel platforms with unexpected properties. In this work, two hydrophobic biomolecules were co-assembled into water-soluble amphiphiles at pH 7 by a facile pH-cycle approach. Wheat gluten proteins (WPs) and shellac were dissolved together at pH 12 followed by a one-step adjustment to pH 7, yielding nanospheres with a protein recovery over 90%. Structural characterization evidenced that shellac stiffened the protein backbones that were resistant against thermodynamically-favored folding. The reactions were proven to be initiated between the protein secondary structures and shellac, forming a relatively unfolded three-dimensional conformation during the acid-induced co-assembly. Silybin was employed as a hydrophobic bioactive model and was entrapped following the same procedure as the hybrid assembly, with a maximum loading of 102 mg g-1 hybrid. The bioavailability of silybin loaded in shellac-WP co-assemblies was improved as assessed by cell proliferation assays, due to the improved dispersity and cell internalization of the co-assemblies. The preparation method based on a simple pH manipulation may be applied to encapsulate various hydrophobic bioactive compounds, apart from the silybin explored in this study.

Oxidative C–O coupling as a new idea in the ‘click-like chemistry’: malonyl peroxides for the conjugation of two molecules

Malonyl peroxides were used for the one-pot construction of hybrid structures by conjugation of heterocycle (3H-pyrazol-3-one, isoxazol-5(2H)-one, pyrazolidine-3,5-dione, or barbituric acid) and amine or alcohol. The first stage represents oxidative C–O coupling with liberation of the carboxyl group which is functionalized at the second stage thus affording ‘clicklike’ products with malonic linker.

Solid-state Synthesis of Composite Structures of Various Cu(I)-based Oxides with g-C3 N4 for Harvesting Solar Energy

Development of novel materials for an efficient harvesting of solar energy towards applications in environment and energy sectors is an important area of research. A metal-free polymeric material, g-C3 N4 is modified with three Cu(I)- based oxides namely Cu2 O, CuVO3 , and Cu3 VO4 to extend the absorption of the solar spectrum. The composite structures are synthesized by a facile one-step solid-state reaction under inter atmosphere and atmospheric pressure. The amounts of loadings of Cu(I)-based oxides onto g-C3 N4 is varied from 2 wt.% to 10 wt.%. Powder XRD patterns showed that the graphitic structure of carbon nitride is maintained upon the construction of hybrid structures with Cu(I) oxides. SEM images show the textural transformation of the bulk structure of g-C3 N4 into nanosheets upon thermal retreatment. FT-IR spectra further confirmed the stability of g-C3 N4 observed in the XRD patterns. In comparison with the pristine g-C3 N4 , the DR-UV-Vis spectra of the modified solid powders demonstrated a clear red shift in the absorption towards higher wavelength and their better prospects in harvesting solar energy. Tauc plots derived from the DR-UV-Vis spectra showed a narrowing of the direct-allowed band gap upon modifications with Cu(I)-based oxides. Tensile Force Compensation Analysis Method and Application in Construction of Hybrid Structures

A new analysis method for hybrid structures in the course of construction, the “tensile force compensation analysis method”, is put forward in this paper. The construction control tensile force can be solved exactly using a few steps of compensation calculation cycles. When strings were introduced one by one in sequence during construction, subsistent tensile forces of all strings would meet their aim tensile forces if those strings were introduced to their construction control tensile forces obtained by means of the “tensile force compensation analysis method”. At the same time, the internal forces of members and displacements of the structure in every stage of tensile force introduction can be solved. Thus, this analysis method can be used in optimum construction of hybrid structures. Easy to learn and to use, it is possible to widely apply this analysis method in tensile force introduction design for hybrid structures by engineers.
