A person is a being influenced by the environment, and the study of conformism assists us to find out what kind of influence the social environment can have on an individual and by what mechanisms serve social influences. The purpose of our research is to determine how the nature of the social group affects the degree of conformity, and this was influenced by comparing the level of conformity between different professions. Conformism has a significant impact on a whole society, such as small groups within it. With this research, we were able to differentiate how the degree of conformity poles apart in these small groups. For our study we selected students of Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, 10-10 from each of 15 professions: Psychology, Business Administration, Georgian Philology, Law, Economics, Medicine, Pedagogy, Mathematics, English Philology, Architecture, Computer Sciences, History, Tourism, Engineering, International Relations. Age: 18, 19, 20, 21, 21 and up. 150 respondents were used in the research, from them – 75 female, 75 male. As an example of research, we took Mehrabian's and Steph's conformity scale. In order to maintain reliability we used the quantitative method, we covered the purpose of the research before conducting it, and introduced it immediately after conducting it. According to these standards we completely secured every norm of ethic codex. The conducted research proved that each group differs in the degree of conformity. CONFORMITY IN THE DECISION TO BUY BIKE ACCESSORIES AND SPARE PARTS FOR ADULT AGE CYCLISTS

The current needs of cyclists, which have now become part of their lifestyle, are accessories and spare parts. One of the reasons someone decides to buy something is due to the influence of conformity. The purpose of this study is to predict the contribution of conformity behavior to the decision to purchase bicycle accessories and spare parts. This research uses a quantitative method with a simple regression analysis. The scales used are the conformity scale and the purchase decision scale. The sampling technique used in this is the purposive sampling technique. The population in this study consists of adult cyclists (21–60 years old), for a total of 83 participants. Based on the analysis of data collected from the conformity scale and purchase decision scale, then processed using SPSS version 26, it was found that the significance value of conformity and purchase decision is 0.00 (p= < 0.05), which means conformity significantly influences purchase decisions. However, this influence occurs negatively. Meanwhile, the contribution of conformity to purchase decisions is 16.9%. Based on the research results, it is shown that adult cyclists exhibit conformity behavior, and this conformity behavior negatively influences the decision to purchase bicycle accessories and spare parts. This finding is noteworthy because conformity is commonly found in adolescents, while adulthood is generally referred to as "trial and error" behavior, but this time conformity behavior is found in adults. The reason conformity only slightly influences purchase decisions may be because there are still many other factors influencing purchase decisions, such as self-concept, product quality, product branding, lifestyle, attitudes or evaluations of products, and income.

Hydrodynamization in hybrid Bjorken flow attractors

Hybrid fluid models, consisting of two sectors with more weakly and more strongly self-interacting degrees of freedom coupled consistently as in the semi-holographic framework, have been shown to exhibit an attractor surface for Bjorken flow. Retaining only the simple viscid fluid descriptions of both sectors, we find that, on the attractor surface, the hydrodynamization times of both subsectors decrease with increasing total energy density at the respective point of hydrodynamization following a conformal scaling, reach their minimum values, and subsequently rise rapidly. The minimum values are obtained when the respective energy densities are of the order of the inverse of the dimensionful inter-system coupling. Restricting to attractor curves which can be matched to glasma models at a time set by the saturation scale for both p-p and Pb-Pb collisions, we find that the more weakly coupled sector hydrodynamizes much later, and the strongly coupled sector hydrodynamizes earlier in p-p collisions, since the total energy densities at the respective hydrodynamization times of these sectors fall inside and outside of the conformal window. This holds true also for phenomenologically relevant solutions that are significantly away from the attractor surface at the time we match to glasma models.

Anxiety and the Urge to Conform: Triggers of Academic Dishonesty in the Health Sciences

There are still few educations that have individuals with good character. Most educational processes have academic problems such as academic dishonesty. This study aims to determine the effect of peer conformity and academic anxiety on academic dishonesty among students of the Health Sciences Faculty of University X in Indonesia. This study was conducted on 343 students of the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of X in Indonesia. The data collection method used the academic dishonesty scale, peer conformity scale, and academic anxiety scale. Data analysis was performed by SPSS 25 using descriptive statistics, multiple regression analysis. Significance level (P) was considered to be<0.05. This study uses. The results of the analysis obtained that the value of arithmetic > t-table of (9.396 > 3.02) with a significance value (p) = 0.000 (p <0.05) so that the proposed hypothesis is accepted, namely there is an effect of peer conformity and academic anxiety on academic dishonesty on students of the Faculty of Health Sciences University X. The coefficient of determination shows peer conformity and academic anxiety provide an effective contribution to academic dishonesty by 4.7%. eliminating the causes of academic dishonesty such as peer conformity and academic anxiety can contribute to improving academic integrity.

Algebraic Conditions for Conformal Superintegrability in Arbitrary Dimension

We consider second order (maximally) conformally superintegrable systems and explain how the definition of such a system on a (pseudo-)Riemannian manifold gives rise to a conformally invariant interpretation of superintegrability. Conformal equivalence in this context is a natural extension of the classical (linear) Stäckel transform, originating from the Maupertuis-Jacobi principle. We extend our recently developed algebraic geometric approach for the classification of second order superintegrable systems in arbitrarily high dimension to conformally superintegrable systems, which are presented via conformal scale choices of second order superintegrable systems defined within a conformal geometry. For superintegrable systems on constant curvature spaces, we find that the conformal scales of Stäckel equivalent systems arise from eigenfunctions of the Laplacian and that their equivalence is characterised by a conformal density of weight two. Our approach yields an algebraic equation that governs the classification under conformal equivalence for a prolific class of second order conformally superintegrable systems. This class contains all non-degenerate examples known to date, and is given by a simple algebraic constraint of degree two on a general harmonic cubic form. In this way the yet unsolved classification problem is put into the reach of algebraic geometry and geometric invariant theory. In particular, no obstruction exists in dimension three, and thus the known classification of conformally superintegrable systems is reobtained in the guise of an unrestricted univariate sextic. In higher dimensions, the obstruction is new and has never been revealed by traditional approaches.

Inflation alternative via the gravitational field of a singularity

We explore the scenario that the observable Universe emerged from the vicinity of a negative mass ring singularity, and all content of the Universe travels at the same group velocity close to the speed of light on a geodesic trajectory along the axis of rotation of the singularity. In appropriate coordinate parametrization and evaluated on the trajectory, we find that the metric tensor in the vicinity of the trajectory exhibits a conformal scale factor a(η) with contraction and subsequent expansion properties that solve the horizon problem. We then introduce a static flow of gravitating radiation along the trajectory (perturbatively with respect to the mass scale of the singularity) to model a homogeneous radiation dominated Universe. Solving the Einstein field equations with a physically motivated ansatz of metric perturbation then reveals that the effective conformal scale factor indeed grows asymptotically with the same power law as expected in a conventional radiation dominated Universe.

Emotion, Conformity, Aggression: Insights from Vocational High School Dynamics

This quantitative correlational research investigates the impact of emotion regulation and peer conformity, both individually and concurrently, on aggressive behavior among students at Krembung Islamic Vocational High School. Utilizing a sample of 210 students from a population of 463, the study employed the emotion regulation scale, peer conformity scale, and aggression behavior scale. Multiple regression analysis with SPSS Ver.21 revealed significant results. Emotional regulation demonstrated a negative influence on aggressive behavior, while peer conformity exhibited a positive effect. Moreover, the combined impact of emotional regulation and peer conformity on aggressive behavior was established, with an overall influence of 20.7%. These findings contribute to the understanding of factors influencing aggressive behavior in the context of vocational high school students, emphasizing the importance of emotional regulation and peer dynamics. Highlights : Impact of Emotional Regulation and Peer Conformity: The study explores the individual and combined effects of emotion regulation and peer conformity on aggressive behavior among vocational high school students. Quantitative Correlational Research: Utilizing multiple regression analysis, the research employs a quantitative approach to understand the relationships between emotion regulation, peer conformity, and aggressive behavior. Practical Implications for Education: The findings provide insights for educational institutions in addressing and managing aggressive behavior by considering the roles of emotion regulation and peer conformity among students. Hubungan Antara Konformitas Dengan Brand Switching Terhadap Merek Bedak pada Remaja Perempuan

This study aims to determine the relationship between conformity and brand switching to powder brands in class XII female adolescents at SMA Negeri 2 Lintau Buo, Lintau Buo District, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province. The independent variable in this study is conformity while the dependent variable is brand switching. Measuring tools used in this study are the conformity scale and brand switching. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sampling technique. The sample in this study were 104 class XII girls at SMA Negeri 2 Lintau Buo, Kec. Tanah Datar, Prov. West Sumatra. Test the validity and reliability in this study using Alpha Cronbach technique. The results of the validity coefficient on the conformity scale moved from rix = 0.312 to rix = 0.715 with a reliability coefficient value of α = 0.905 while the results of the validity coefficient on the brand switching scale moved from rix = 0.311 to rix = 0.751 with a reliability coefficient value of α = 0.914. Based on data analysis, a correlation value of 0.764 was obtained with a significance level of 0.000, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. This shows that there is a strong and significant relationship between conformity and brand switching to powder brands in class XII female adolescents at SMAN 2, Tanah Datar Regency, West Sumatra Province.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN CONFORNITY AND HEDONIC LIFESTYLE IN STUDENTS

Current developments and modernization are increasing and greatly influencing a person's lifestyle. This research aims to determine the relationship between conformity and hedonic lifestyle in students. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. The subjects in this research were 272 Padang City students who met the criteria set using a purposive sampling technique. The data collection method in this research uses a hedonic lifestyle scale with a reliability of 0.942 and a conformity scale with a reliability of 0.942. Data analysis uses product moment correlation with the help of the Statistical Package for Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for Windows program to obtain hypothesis test results with a value of r = 0.372 with a significance value of p = 0.00 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a significant positive relationship between conformity and the hedonic lifestyle of Padang City students, meaning that the higher the student's conformity, the higher the hedonic lifestyle carried out by the student. Overall, the results show that the majority of Padang City students have a moderate conformity and hedonic lifestyle.

Self esteem sebagai moderator konformitas terhadap perilaku merokok elektrik (vape)

A tobacco cigarette is an convensional cigarette. Beside a convensional cigarette there is an electric cigarette with liquid. So the smoker use it by sucking the liquid from the device of vape, then its produce much smoke. An elecric cigarette is more expensive than the convensional cigaratte and need special maintance. Vape is growing rapidly among the society moreever upper, midle, lower, teen and adult. The teenager tend to do conformity by following and copying adult to smoke E- cigarette or vape. Because they need to be recognized their existence in their circle. Therefore, we need self esteem to reduce or increase conformity behaviour. The aim of this study to examine the role of self esteem as a moderator of an effect the behaviour of teenager who use E-cigarette. There are 105 carats in this quantitative study. The writer took the sample directly by online and used purposive sampling technique through behaviour scale of smoking GNSBQ Glover-Nilson Smoking Behavioral Questionnaire, conformity scale and RSES Rosenberg self esteem scale. A modern analysis was conducted using Modeated Regression Analysis method (MRA) with 25 SPSS sofware. The result of this study shows that self esteem modern has an effect to conformity of E-cigaratte bahaviour. The subject of self esteem can strengthen in increasing the effect of conformity effect to E- cigarette behaviour.

The Correlation Between Conformity and Self-Efficacy in Career Decision Making Among 12th Grade High School Students

This study aimed to determine the characteristics of conformity and self-efficacy in career decision-making and the relationship between conformity and self-efficacy in career decision-making in class XII students. This study used a quantitative correlational method with a sample of class XII students at SMA Negeri 2 Nganjuk who were selected using a cluster random sampling technique. The instruments used were a conformity scale and a self-efficacy scale of career decision-making compiled by researchers based on theory. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive and Pearson product-moment correlation analyses. The results showed that there is a relationship between conformity and self-efficacy towards career decision-making in class XII high school students.

Conformity and Positive Emotions as Predictors of Impulsive Buying Tendencies of Online Shopping Consumer

In this digital era, people increasingly prefer to engage in easy activities, such as online shopping. Impulsive buying is a phenomenon that occurs unconsciously in daily life, both by men and women. The age group of 18-21 years old, particularly adolescents, tend to engage in impulsive buying more than other age groups. Therefore, this research aims to investigate the influence of conformity and positive emotions as predictors of consumer impulsive buying tendencies in online shopping in Karawang. The research method used in this study is an associative quantitative method. The research instruments include a 42-item conformity scale, a 38-item positive emotions scale, and a 23-item impulsive buying tendency scale. The population of this study is online shoppers aged 18-21 years old in Karawang. The sampling technique used is quota sampling with a sample size of 385 people. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression test using JASP 0.16 software. Based on the data analysis, the significance value obtained was < 0.001 or p < 0.05, indicating that conformity and positive emotions can influence the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang as predictors. The influence contributed by conformity and positive emotions towards the tendency of consumer impulsive buying in online shopping in Karawang is 20.4%, while the remaining 79.6% is influenced by other variables outside the scope of this research.

Conformity in High School Adolescents: Development and Validation of the Informational and Normative Conformity Scale

The present article describes the development and validation of the Informational and Normative Conformity Scale (SKI-N), a brief self-report tool capturing adolescents' general propensity to adopt a conformist attitude, and the underlying motives for doing so. The presentation includes a description of scale construction and an assessment of the psychometric properties. In two independent samples of adolescents (total N = 1,953), the SKI-N factorial structure was investigated, and the reliability and dimensionality, the multi-group measurement invariance, and the construct validity were each verified. The findings showed that the scale structure is bi-factorial, and the tool is reliable, valid, and invariant across gender. Therefore, the SKI-N can be applied in research and/or in psychological and educational practice to provide important information in a broader assessment of students’ psychosocial functioning in the school environment. Moreover, compared to currently available measures, it fills a gap in the tools for measuring conformity in the adolescent population.

Ultraviolet freeze-in dark matter through the dilaton portal

We study a class of models in which the Standard Model (SM) and dark matter (DM) belong to a conformal/scale-invariant theory at high energies. Scale invariance is spontaneously broken at scale $f$, giving rise to a dilaton as the corresponding Goldstone boson. In the low-energy theory, we assume that DM interacts with the SM solely through the dilaton portal, which is suppressed by the conformal breaking scale $f$. For $f\ensuremath{\gg}\mathrm{TeV}$, the portal interactions are extremely weak, resulting in DM not being in thermal equilibrium with the SM. Thus, ultraviolet freeze-in production of DM occurs through the dilaton portal, being most effective at the maximum temperature of the SM bath. The temperature evolution is greatly impacted by the reheating dynamics, which we parametrize using a general equation of state $w$ and temperature at the end of reheating ${T}_{\mathrm{rh}}$. We analyze the implications of the reheating dynamics for DM production in this framework and identify regions of parameter space that result in the observed DM relic abundance for a wide range of DM masses and reheating temperatures for scalar, vector, or fermion DM.

Hubungan Antara Keharmonisan Keluarga dan Konformitas Teman Sebaya dengan Penyesuaian Diri Siswa di MTs Yayasan Pendidikan Agama Islam - Badan Koordinasi Agama Islam (YAPI-BKAI) Sei Karang Galang

This study aims to look at the relationship between family harmony and peer conformity with students' self-adjustment. The hypothesis put forward: there is a positive relationship between family harmony and peer conformity with student self-adjustment at MTs YAPI Sei Karang Galang. This means that the higher the family harmony and peer conformity, the better the student's self-adjustment. The population in this study were all students of MTs YAPI-BKAI Sei Karang Galang, totaling 345 students and the research sample was students of class VII MTs, totaling 160 students. The data collection method uses a quantitative method with a Likert scale, namely the family harmony scale, peer conformity scale and self-adjustment scale. The results of the analysis using multiple linear regression analysis method, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between family harmony and peer conformity with students' self-adjustment seen from the value of the determinant coefficient (Rxy) = 0.631 with p = 0.000 <0.050. The contribution made by the variables of family harmony and peer conformity to student self-adjustment is R2 = 0.398. This means that the relationship between family harmony and peer conformity contributes to student self-adjustment by 39.8%. The remaining 60.2% is the influence of other factors. The class VII students of MTs YAPI Sei Karang Galang turned out to have moderate family harmony, peer conformity was in the medium category, while in terms of self-adjustment it was classified in the low category.

The role of self-control and conformity to adolescent aggressiveness

Teenagers are always associated with social problems because of several changes in them, one of which is physical changes. When adolescents' physical and emotional changes have not reached maturity like adults, adolescents tend to have difficulties in facing these challenges, so feelings of depression will arise within adolescents. Feelings of pressure tend to lead adolescents to aggressive actions. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between self-control and conformity to adolescents' aggressiveness in the city of Denpasar. The subjects of this study were 104 students who attended SMA Negeri 6 Denpasar. Measuring tools used in this study are the aggressiveness scale, self-control scale and conformity scale. The analysis technique used in this study is multiple regression. The results of the multiple regression test showed a regression coefficient of 0.610, a coefficient of determination of 0.373 with a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05), thereby proving that there is a role between self-control and conformity to adolescent aggressiveness in Denpasar City. The standardized beta coefficient value for self-control was 0.393 with a t-value of 4,656 and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it can be said that the self-control variable plays a positive role in increasing aggressiveness. The conformity variable has a standardized beta coefficient of 0.348, with a t value of 4,122 and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05), so it can be said that conformity plays a positive role in increasing aggressiveness.

The Role of Machiavellianism and Interdependent Agency in Facebook Intrusion.

Facebook is one the most popular social networking sites in the world. The social aspect and perceiving oneself in the context of relationships seem to be crucial in the analysis of Facebook use. In recent years the number of Facebook users has been increasing, which is related to the problem of Facebook intrusion. Machiavellianism and selected interdependence agency indicators (conformity, relatedness, and autonomy) are associated with social functioning, which is an important aspect of Facebook intrusion. The aim of the study was to check how Machiavelianism and the interdependent agency indicators mentioned above affect Facebook intrusion and whether Facebook intrusion decreases satisfaction with life. The participants in the online study were 715 Polish Facebook users. We administered the Facebook Intrusion Scale, Conformity, Relatedness, and Autonomy Scales, and the Satisfaction With Life Scale. The results show that the selected interdependence agency indicators predict Facebook intrusion. Our results revealed that a high level of Machiavellianism was related to a high level of Facebook intrusion in women. They also show that conformity is positively and autonomy negatively related to Facebook intrusion and that Facebook decreases reduces satisfaction with life. The presented research thus contributes to knowledge about Facebook usage patterns.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RELIGIUSITY AND CONFORMITY WITH MORAL INTEGRITY IN ELECTION MANAGERS IN DEMAK REGENCY

The purpose of this research to test empirically the relationship between religiosity and conformity with moral integrity in election organizers in Demak district. The hypothesis put forward is there is positive relationship between religiosity and moral integrity in election organizers in Demak Regency. The research subjects amounted to 240 election organizers of Demak Regency. This study uses a quantitative method with documentation measuring instrument Religiosity Scale, Conformity Scale, and Moral Integrity Scale. The data obtained were then analyzed with multiple linear correlations. Based on the results of the analysis obtained value R=34,761and t = 10.962 with a p of 0.000 (p <0.01). Correlation coefficient value between Religiosity with Moral Integrity of Election Organizers in Demak Regency of 0.232 with a value of p: 0.000 (p <0.01) and the value of the correlation coefficient between conformity with the moral integrity of the election organizers in Demak Regency of 0.055 with a p-value: 0.393 (p>0.01). This means that there is a very significant positive relationship between religiosity and the moral integrity of election administrators in Demak Regency, and there is no relationship between conformity and the moral integrity of election organizers in Demak Regency.

Attitudes Toward Homosexuality, Self Righteousness And Conformity Among Emerging Adults

The desire between individuals of the same sex is referred to as homosexuality. Rather than being a gender identity like male, female, or nonbinary, it is a sexual orientation. Homosexuality can be influenced by changing one's attitudes and beliefs to more closely resemble the groups that one already belongs to or wishes to join and this is called social conformity. Being convinced of one's own justification, and morality, especially in contrast to the deeds and viewpoints of others, is self-righteousness. The study’s objective was to examine the attitudes toward homosexuality, self -righteousness, and conformity and whether there is any significant relation among them. 65 emerging adults of age 18 to 26 made up the sample, which include both males and females. This sample was collected through the Convenience sampling method. Tools used were Self Righteousness Scale (SRS), Homosexuality Attitude Scale (HAS), and Conformity Scale (CS). Using SPSS, statistical analysis was conducted. The data was examined using Spearman’s correlation test. According to the research, there is a substantial positive correlation between attitudes towards homosexuality and conformity as well as between those attitudes and self-righteousness and its subscale self-righteousness.

The Relationship Between Conformity and Comprehensive Thinking Styles Among Emerging Adults

Conformity, a pervasive social phenomenon, refers to the tendency of individuals to adjust their beliefs, attitudes, and behaviours to match those of a majority or authoritative group. It is a type of social influence that involves altering one's beliefs or actions in order to blend in with the group. On the other hand, comprehensive thinking styles involve analytical and integrative cognitive approaches that prioritise thorough examination and independent evaluation of information. The primary objective of this study is to explore whether there exists a connection between an individual's propensity to conform and their preference for comprehensive thinking styles. It seeks to identify the underlying cognitive mechanisms that drive conformity behaviour and determine whether these mechanisms are compatible with comprehensive thinking patterns or in tension with them. This study examines the relationship between comprehensive thinking style and conformity. The sample data consisted of 145 emerging and budding adults who fall between the age of 18 to 25. These participants were from different colleges. The tools used in the study are Conformity Scale (CS) and Comprehensive Thinking Style Questionnaire (CTSQ). Data were analysed using SPSS. Spearman Rho correlation was used to find the correlation. The findings showed that there is a significant positive relationship between comprehensive thinking styles and conformity (p<0.01). The result also showed a positive correlation between conformity and one of the subscales of comprehensive thinking styles, i.e. preference for effortful thinking.
