Высокое служение Отечеству: к 75-летию Н.М. Валеева

The article is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of Doctor of Philology, Professor, Academician of the Tatarstan Academy of Sciences, Honoured Scholar of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Russian Federation, the member of the Union of Writers of Russia and the Presidium of the Union of Local Historians of Russia – Nail Mansurovich Valeev. It describes him as an outstanding Russian humanities scholar, literary critic, art critic, historian, local historian, cultural studies scholar, major organiser of scientific events and a public official. His unique and resonant academic work, significant and conceptual projects contribute to the prestige of our republic and country. Over the three decades of his life in the city of Elabuga, he wrote hundreds of articles and ten books about the historical and cultural heritage of Elabuga, about the fate of Elabuga merchants-benefactors. His enormous work on organising a purposeful study of the history of the city led to the recognition of Elabuga as one of the tourist-attractive cities of Russia. Regularly held international scientific conferences devoted to the study of the fate of the merchant dynasties of the city and the creative heritage of the forgotten classic of Russian literature D.I. Stakheev, attracted the attention of scholars from all over Russia and around the world, as well as the descendants of the merchant dynasties of the Stakheevs from Australia, Switzerland, Great Britain, France, etc. to the rich history of the city. Huge work was carried out by N.M. Valeev to draw the attention of the Republic of Tatarstan Academy of Sciences academics and the scholars of the Federal Research Center “Kazan Scientific Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences” to the study and preservation of the historical and cultural heritage of the city of Chistopol. Academic works of N.M. Valeev about the life of Kazan art of the twentieth century, the Literary Chistopol encyclopedia, the monograph Boris Pasternak in Chistopol. To the origins of the “Doctor Zhivago” novel and other works caused a wide resonance around the country and the world, attracted the attention of specialists to the rich history of Tatarstan and Chistopol.

What Is Animal Prehistory?

This paper engages animal archaeologies with key debates in animal history. Animal archaeology is currently and primarily framed as a multi-species venture, and a brief review of its disciplinary genealogies illustrates dominant foci on questions of ecology and (posthuman) ontology. I argue that this situation, paradoxically, has led archaeologists to largely neglect the challenges of the historical animal. To overcome this constriction, animal archaeology needs to conceive of itself also as a critical and conceptual project—coevally celebrating and problematizing the notion of “the animal.” Importantly, this project pivots to questions of historicity, with regard to both its animal subjects of study and animal scholarship itself. I position “animal prehistory” as a strategic lens to bring to the fore and interrogate these unattended animal specificities and articulate them with long-standing concerns in animal history. I suggest this can proffer a new, exciting field of inquiry and exchange for both historians and archaeologists.

Conceptual design of tailings dam and stability assessment

This work aims to present and discuss a conceptual project of mining tailings dam. Therefore, specific topics on tailings dams are visited and the characterization of materials constituting such structure is reviewed in the literature. Based on parameters available in the literature, a hypothetical dam was schematized and its stability was assessed via computational analysis (limit equilibrium and finite element flow analysis). Assessing eventual design changes (additional dam heightening) and hypothetical situations (collapses in the internal drainage), it is concluded that the schematic conceptual design presents itself viable and stable given the proposed geometry and the properties of materials considered. The importance of the internal drainage system for the dam´s stability was also identified.

REVITALIZATION OF THE ABANDONED TERRITORY OF THE NADVIRNYA REFINERY PLANT

The issue of revitalization of abandoned territories of former powerful complexes of the oil and gas industry. XIX - beginning 20th century is becoming more and more relevant. These objects in modern conditions are defined as depressed points of one or another environment and need to be organized and developed. The article examines the territory of the oil refinery "Nadvirna Oil and Paraffin Factory", located in the city of Nadvirna, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The historical and architectural development and the main factors of the formation of the enterprise are studied. Urban-planning, architectural-planning and landscape-compositional features have been identified; a valuable historical building. The original functional zoning of the territory, volumetric and planning structure of buildings and structures were analyzed with the help of archival materials and technical descriptions. The authors proposed a conceptual project for the revitalization of the Nadvirnya Oil Refinery - "Building Hub". The project envisages the preservation of the architectural heritage, which will be harmoniously combined with modern technological solutions. Office premises, a museum complex, shopping and food areas, and parking spaces will be located on the territory. The reorganization of this object will significantly affect the architectural development of the city, will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life of the local population.

Implementing Lean 4.0: a review of case studies in pharmaceutical industry transformation

PurposeThe purpose of this systematic review is to critically analyze pharmaceutical industry case studies on the implementation of Lean 4.0 methodologies to synthesize key lessons, benefits and best practices. The goal is to inform decisions and guide investments in related technologies for enhancing quality, compliance, efficiency and responsiveness across production and supply chain processes.Design/methodology/approachThe article utilized a systematic literature review (SLR) methodology following five phases: formulating research questions, locating relevant articles, selecting and evaluating articles, analyzing and synthesizing findings and reporting results. The SLR aimed to critically analyze pharmaceutical industry case studies on Lean 4.0 implementation to synthesize key lessons, benefits and best practices.FindingsKey findings reveal recurrent efficiency gains, obstacles around legacy system integration and data governance as well as necessary operator training investments alongside technological upgrades. On average, quality assurance reliability improved by over 50%, while inventory waste declined by 57% based on quantified metrics across documented initiatives synthesizing robotics, sensors and analytics.Research limitations/implicationsAs a comprehensive literature review, findings depend on available documented implementations within the search period rather than direct case evaluations. Reporting bias may also skew toward more successful accounts.Practical implicationsSynthesized implementation patterns, performance outcomes and concealed pitfalls provide pharmaceutical leaders with an evidence-based reference guide aiding adoption strategy development, resource planning and workforce transitioning crucial for Lean 4.0 assimilation.Originality/valueThis systematic assessment of pharmaceutical Lean 4.0 adoption offers an unprecedented perspective into the real-world issues, dependencies and modifications necessary for successful integration, absent from conceptual projections or isolated case studies alone until now.

Communicative potential of stop-motion animation in the practice of modern design

The relevance of the research is determined by the need to substantiate and implement effective visualnarrative media formats for creating effective visual communications capable of clearly conveying messages and ideas to the viewer. The purpose of the work is to reveal and evaluate the communicative potential of stop-motion animation in the context of audiovisual practices of modern design. Research methodology is formed by general scientific and special methods, in particular, comparative and historical analysis, scientific analysis and synthesis, methods of visual observation, modeling, art history and content analysis. The research substantiates the technical techniques, formal and artistic approaches of stop-motion and reveals their influence on the communicative potential of animation in the context of various project tasks. The effectiveness of the tools of stop-motion animation in modern audiovisual design practices for increasing the emotional involvement of the audience and improving the perception of content due to attractiveness and experimentation has been proven. The ability of stop-motion animation for detail, visual saturation, expressiveness and emotional expressiveness can play a key role in solving design problems where a deep narrative impact needs to be achieved. The paper substantiates the expediency of using the main technical techniques of stop-motion animation in the implementation of specific conceptual project tasks, in particular in short animated films of various genres, in advertising videos, in art projects, where the goal can be achieved due to the high artistic characteristics of the visual series, interactivity and emotional interaction with the viewer. The practical value of the work is determined by the possibility of implementing the research results into practical recommendations for the implementation of specific projects. The results of the research can be useful in the academic community for the further development of the theoretical foundations of stop-motion animation and the expansion of project approaches in educational courses related to audiovisual art and visual communication

Renovation of the urban environment of the historical center of the city of novaya ladoga

The architectural and urban heritage of large and small Russian cities is currently not fully appreciated and used to improve the quality of life of the population. Medium and small cities of the Leningrad region have a rich natural and historical and cultural potential and need further spatial development. This work is devoted to the master planning of a fragment of the historical settlement of Novaya Ladoga in the framework of the annual competition “The Concept of Spatial Development of Municipalities of the Leningrad Region”, which was held by the Committee for Urban Planning Policy of the Leningrad Region. One of the fundamental tasks of the urban development of the territory in this case is continuity, the preservation of historical and cultural diversity and the memory of the place. The novelty of the conceptual project proposal lies in the creation of not only a coherent and integral system of public spaces at the citywide and regional levels through a system of points of attraction in order to develop tourism, but also in the formation of an identical cultural and educational cluster to increase the level of human potential of the settlement. Thus, as a result of the renovation of the urban environment, an attempt was made to link the times through the formation of a cultural and educational center and a developing modern infrastructure.

Urban Planning Principles in Design of the Ethnographic Centres

Federation Government Resolution on Adoption of the Concept of the Federal Target Programme "Development of the Domestic and Inbound Tourism in the Russian Federation (2019-2025)" foresees the comprehensive development of the tourist clusters in the priority types of tourism1. Within the tourist industry, the ethnic tourism is one of the priority directions, which has the great potential, but is still in the stage of infancy. Currently, there are 49 ethnographic centres in 36 regions of our country. In recent years, the trend for creating the ethnography-oriented recreation centres in the south of Russia becomes evident. In the south of Russia the following destinations are referred to such centres: the ethnographic centre "My Russia" in Greater Sochi on the territory of Rosa Khutor, the “Ataman” exhibition complex in the village of Taman in the Krasnodar Region, the ethno village of the Nekrasov Cossacks and Molokan Spiritual Christians in the Stavropol Region, Novokumsky settlement, however, their number is not enough for the territory of the south of Russia. The acquaintance with the experience of building and designing the ethnographic facilities has led to the conclusion, that nowadays the creation of a new type of the ethnographic centres combining the education and recreation functions with resting in the natural environment is highly relevant. However, the normative and methodological documents regulating their creation are missing.Materials and methods. The research included: the analysis of development of the various types of the ethnographic facilities using the analytical and graphical analytic methods, field research and photo-fixation, as well as the comparative analysis of the functional zoning and layout, spatial arrangement and composition of the ethnographic museums and the ethnographic parks "in the open air". The article investigates the foreign and domestic examples of the facilities.Results. Based on the study of the ethnographic facilities, the main scientifically based urban planning principles for creation thereof have been distinguished, their features and territorial planning distinctions within the structure of the settlements have been found. The research results are being piloted within the conceptual project of layout and development of the tourist ethnographic centre in the city of Semikarakorsk, Rostov region. The proposed project aims at creating the tourist ethnic environment within the structure of the planned urban settlements of the south of Russia for preserving the Don Cossacks’ traditions and boosting the development of the ethnic tourism in the south of Russia.Discussion and Conclusion. The layout and functional zoning of the ethnographic centres depend not only on the urban planning situation, location of their territory within the structure of the urban entities, but also on the identity of the culture represented on their territory. The results of the study enable the geographical expansion of the ethnographic centres across the south of Russia, increase the range of the recreation and education services provided within the urban environment through their enlargement and transformation, bring a person closer to the natural environment and different peoples’ national environment. This will enable each ethnographic centre to demonstrate its distinctive features ensuring its individual character.

Contribution to the Research on New Belgrade: The Unbuilt Projects and the Concepts of Nikola Dobrović

<p class="Abstract" style="text-align: justify;"><span lang="sr-Cyrl-BA" style="mso-fareast-language: BS-LATN-BA;">Architect Nikola Dobrović is best known in Serbia for his only constructed building in Belgrade, the complex of the State Secretariat of National Defense (DSNO), better known as the General Staff, today an endangered cultural heritage and a crumbling building with an uncertain future. However, his short-term engagement as the head of the Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Serbia from 1946-1947, and his later professorship at the Faculty of Architecture University of Belgrade, are equally significant for Belgrade and Serbia. Documents testifying to the post-war period of his work are scattered in several places: in the Urban Planning Institute of Belgrade, the Museum of Science and Technology, the Historical Archive of Belgrade, and the rare publications can only be found in a few libraries in Serbia. In the course of his short-term work on New Belgrade, Dobrović provided several conceptual projects and sketches for New Belgrade within the Urban Planning Institute: the perfomance square, road schemes and the urban planning solution of the zone between the Palace of the Federation and the Railway Station - today's Central Zone of New Belgrade. Finally, at different stages of his career, Dobrović also designed individual objects, such as the project for the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the building of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia, which remained in the domain of 'paper architecture', unbuilt, and which provides an insight into the way he thought about the process of urban and spatial planning, through the positioning of builidngs which would've generated the character of their immediate and distant surroundings.</span></p>

1965. Рем Колхас в Советском Союзе

The article examines the formative interrelations between the phenomenology of impressions and the formation of a projective approach to architecture based on the fact of the journey of the Dutch architect R. Koolhaas to the Soviet Union (1965). The conducted research involves a textual analysis of the facts in the architect’s biography, which directionally reveals the specifics of the influence of the “phenomenology of impressions”. The article clarifies the significance of the architect’s visit to the USSR, and establishes the formation features of a design approach to architecture. For the Dutch architect, the avant-garde architecture of the Soviet Russia and, in particular, constructivism, represented the basis and the vector of influences that determined the formation of the professional value orientations reflected in the specific concept of the purified formal aesthetics of architecture. The author of the article determines the factors in the formation of R. Koolhaas’ approach related to the experience of conceptual projects of V. Tatlin, K. Malevich, M. Ginzburg, and I. Leonidov. The cited sources (interviews, statements, and lectures) document the pragmatics of the experience of the Soviet constructivist architecture in the context of modern conceptual reality of the deconstruction movement and global architecture. Conclusions are drawn about the relationship between the phenomenon of the Soviet avant-garde architecture (genetic continuity, reception of ideas) and the modern architecture of the deconstruction movement.

Universal Methods of Architectural and Urban Reconstruction, Restoration, And New Construction Using the Examples of Objects In Ukraine

The article considers the universal traditional and innovative methods of the architect's work as: hereditary and theoretical-experimental methods of “pre-project analysis” (the method of “conservation” of the object by providing it with an educational function; the method of visual communication object with a person using temporary modular structures); traditional theoretical and practical methods (“stylistic” and “artistic”); innovative theoretical methods – “hermeneutic-semiotic” (“semantic-pragmatic” and “syntactic”), innovative practical method – “hermeneutic-semiotic” (“semionic”). The practical implementation of this method is shown in the examples of experimental conceptual projects for the reconstruction of destroyed and abandoned objects of various scales in Ukraine (city, building fragment, building). Stages of action for the first time reveal the mechanisms of architectural activity of architects based on the implementation of a unique innovative “hermeneutic-semiotic” (“semionic”) method of creativity and the theory of “informative architecture”.

THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, THE ANGLO-SAXON AND THE AMERICAN CULTURES IN THE BULGARIAN REVIVAL LINGUISTIC SITUATION

The article views the place of the English language and the role of the Anglo-Saxon and the American cultural influences in the processes which formed the specific Bulgarian linguistic situation during the Bulgarian Revival. The topicality of the issue can be explained by the necessity of studying “the linguistic situation” as a complex phenomenon with conglomerate conceptual projections, combining procedure, temporal dimension, language and educational policies, as well as cultural influences in the geographical areal with dynamically changing boundaries. The methodology combines the traditional historiographical approach with linguodidactological archeology and elements of empruntological analysis in order to trace interlanguage and linguocaultural transfers. Bulgarian intellectuals’ attempts at building a unified national language and educational policies are briefly viewed, putting emphasis on the place of the English language in the system of Bulgarian foreign language teaching. The beginning of the empruntologic influence of English lexis on Bulgarian vocabulary is assumed to be in 1829 when the first use of the word “ром” (rom) for rum (a drink imported from the British colonies in the Ottoman Empire) is registered. An attempt is made to present the quantitative content of the Bulgarian intellectual elite that speaks English during the period. The translation reception of Anglo-Saxon and American literature is reconstructed.

INDUSTRIAL TERRITORIES IN DNIPRO CITY: TRANSFORMATION STRATEGY INTO RECREATIONAL ASSETS

In the modern world, with increasing urbanization, efficient land use becomes critically important for the sustainable development of cities. The reorganization of outdated industrial territories emerges as a key direction in this process, requiring a combination of various approaches to preserve industrial function, reprofile enterprises, and adapt production to new conditions. This study is built upon a broad methodological foundation, encompassing both general scientific and specialized methods within the fields of architecture, urban planning, and urban studies. Specifically, methods such as literary, statistical, and cartographic analyses, synthesis, and generalization are employed for data collection and processing. Specialized methods, including experimental design, mental mapping, and phenomenological analysis, are also utilized to achieve the research objectives. A cluster approach was employed in developing the concept of spatial development for recreation on former industrial territories. Taking into account various factors such as economic opportunities, sociocultural factors, urban planning considerations, ecological and infrastructural requirements, as well as legal aspects, is crucial for the successful reorganization of industrial territories for recreational purposes. Achieving a balance among these factors enables the creation of resilient, functional, and culturally rich spaces that contribute to improving the quality of life for residents and the development of cities. The research encompasses a strategy for planning the reorganization of industrial territories for recreational use, which involves the identification and analysis of territorial potential and condition, planning functional transformations, architectural transformation, sustainability and ecological considerations, public participation, infrastructure transformations, economic resilience, multimodality, and adaptability. The cluster approach involves the formation of flexible entities enriched with innovative, dynamic spaces encompassing various functional zones, while preserving industrial heritage and creating green, environmentally sustainable spaces that align with the needs of modern society. Community engagement and project flexibility are key elements in creating inclusive and sustainable ecological spaces that enhance the quality of life and attract new visitors. The article analyzes the urban planning situation in the city of Dnipro, identifying shortcomings in the formation of industrial zones. The study emphasizes the need to develop strategies to address issues related to the placement of production zones in the city, which lead to limitations in territorial development and the fragmentation of the urban fabric. Based on this, a concept of a recreational cluster for industrial tourism within the industrial hub "Fabrichny" is developed, envisioning the transformation of industrial territory into recreational facilities. An analysis of the site revealed valuable architectural objects that could become the main attractors of the recreational cluster. These objects served as the basis for the development of a conceptual project for the considered area.

Linguocognitive Approach to Text Analysis

Cognitive sciences were officially included in the nomenclature of scientific specialties in Russia in 2021. However, the issue of the subject and method of cognitive science in general and its projection on text analysis in particular remains little known to the general scientific community. Linguistic text analysis has gone through several stages of evolution. Each of them accumulates the critical aspects highlighting the necessity to search for new approaches. There are three such approaches in linguistics: structural, communicative, cognitive. The structural paradigm made it possible to solve scientific problems using the example of simple language units. However, it was experiencing serious difficulties in studying complex emergent phenomena, to which the text belongs. Some of these difficulties were leveled by including a communicative approach in the linguist’s methodological baggage. At the same time, a significant layer of factors influencing on the meaning generation of the text remained outside the scope of the research focus. As a result, the linguocognitive approach to text analysis was formed in linguistics. This made it possible to include not only linguistic structures, but also the widest range of mental structures (concepts, frames and slots, prototypes, categories, conceptual oppositions, gestalts, mental spaces and models, conceptual metaphors, precedent phenomena, semantic networks) and cognitive operations (conceptualization, categorization, inference, causal attribution, conceptual projections, blending) in the analysis. Thus, the linguocognitive approach to text analysis increases the heuristics of scientific research due to it is aimed at studying of semantic processes as mental processes.

РОЗРОБКА МАНІПУЛЯТОРА ДЛЯ ПОВНОЇ АВТОМАТИЗАЦІЇ ПРОЦЕСУ ЗАРЯДЖАННЯ ЕЛЕКТРОМОБІЛЕЙ

Electric cars are gradually gaining popularity both in the world and in Ukraine. But in order for them to be freely used throughout the country, an appropriate infrastructure is needed. Unlike traditional cars with internal combustion engines, electric cars can be refuelled anywhere there is access to an electrical outlet. The main problems of electric cars during their operation over long distances are related to the duration of the journey on one charge and the low development of the infrastructure for them. Systems of automated charging stations are also gradually developing. There are already terminals of charging stations with payment by bank card and other payment systems, but they work on the principle of self-service. For full automation of the charging process, connecting the charging station to the electric car without human intervention is not enough. Wireless charging can solve this problem, but at this stage of development, the power transferred in this way is not always enough. To solve this problem, a combination of a manipulator arm and a typical charging station was proposed. The manipulator will determine the vehicle's position and insert the charging station's socket into the car's plug using sensors and machine vision. As part of this work, we made a conceptual project of a manipulator that will automatically connect the connector of the charging station to the car. Also, for this charging complex, a system of monitoring and protection of the electrical connection of the charger with the consumer against short circuit, overheating, sparking and arcing connector was developed, taking into account various interchangeable connectors. When developing the manipulator's arms, the following tasks were taken into account: ensuring sufficient kinematic freedom of movement to cover the working area of the charging station service and maximally simplifying the design. To reliably ensure access to any point of the working space, a kinematic scheme with two translational and three rotational links was used. Next, to determine the position of the manipulator in the workspace, the direct and inverse kinematics problems for this scheme were solved. The physical model of the manipulator along with servomotors, PID controllers and control system based on the equations of kinematics problems was simulated in the Matlab application software package. The implementation of a machine vision system and a switching device protection system is proposed for a full-fledged control system of the automated charging station. The resulting design of the automated charging station is experimental and does not have many analogues in the world. The modularity of the design ensures the versatility of its use at other types of charging stations, as well as the possibility of its modernization.

Особенности формализованной технологии концептуального проектирования в авиастроении

The article is devoted to the general issues of design formalization and practical methods of conceptual project devel-opment in civil aircraft industry. The project idea and the sequential implementation of the project concept develop-ment stages are considered. Special attention is paid to marketing and justification of the project strategy. The im-portance of the idea analysis method for the project concept is shown. In the task of the technical system synthesis an approach to the coordination of its elements and a risk analysis of the designed civil aircraft critical characteristics is presented. The process of validation the aircraft project concept under development by means of experimental analo-gies is described. The presented methodology was developed for the first time as a complete full-cycle technology of civil aircraft conceptual design, the scientific results of which will eliminate the risks of erroneous choice of the technical concept and its inconsistency with the technical specifications.

Intersemiotic Modernism: Matija Ferlin’s Sad Sam Lucky between Poetry and Its Embodiment

Sad Sam Lucky is a solo performance by the choreographer and performer Matija Ferlin, conceived as part of his ongoing non-dance-like and non-theatrelike conceptual project Sad Sam, which started in January 2004 in Amsterdam, where the first part of this pseudo-durational piece was premiered. Ferlin’s performance Sad Sam Lucky is somewhat specific in the author’s oeuvre, mainly because it assays to become a physical response to the work of the Slovenian avant-garde poet Srečko Kosovel (1904—1926), translating it and transposing it at the same time, in-between languages and dialects (Slovenian, Croatian, Istrian, and/or English), and in-between performative regimes (embodied response and a pseudo-recital). Kosovel’s confessional poetry, i.e. profound, contemporary, tense in its stylistic imagery, and, at the same time, almost revolutionary in its ideas, is therefore being performed as a live matter of language, driven by Ferlin’s main idea — not to do theatre, not to do dance, not to translate, but to trans-body Kosovel’s verses, and his melancholic prophecy, thus creating a form of a highly physical, turbulent and emotional homage to this very unique avant-garde author.

Ethno-Pedagogical Basis for the Implementation of Innovative Program Systems in the Conditions of an Inter-Ethnic Environment

In connection with the reforms that took place in Bulgarian education in 1991, the beginning of the implementation of conceptual projects, concepts, programs and program systems in the conditions of an inter-ethnic environment was set. A number of kindergartens began to use and test innovative pedagogical technologies for pedagogical interaction in kindergarten conditions until the release of the state educational standards for preschool and school education (2016) in the relevant sub-normative documents. With this report, an attempt will be made for a historiographical analysis of the kindergartens in our country, working on innovative program systems in the conditions of an inter-ethnic environment

Design strategies for residential buildings in the post pandemic era

During and after the pandemic the home became the epicenter for many people. Everything happened at home: work, school, exercise, play, and everything in between. Families’ priorities and needs have changed in many ways, and how they use their homes is at the top of their list. An emerging priority among homeowners is health and wellness. People now not only want their homes to protect their health with great indoor air quality, but they also want adequate space to attend to their daily life activities at home. Furthermore, homeowners now realize their homes must fill many roles. No longer are homes mainly a place to gather and rest, but they must also serve as schools, offices with dedicated workspaces, gyms, outdoor living, and many other spaces. For this, are suggested modular interiors, with more segmented approaches than open floor plans. This paper will present design strategies for residential buildings, in three scenarios, with different terrain conditions (flat terrain, slightly sloppy terrain, and very sloppy terrain) and low construction intensity, according to the “General Local Plan and Territorial Strategy”, in the city of Lezha. Three different building design typologies (Linear Typologies, Box Massing Typology, Unit House Typology) are chosen as the more suitable to be applied to the different terrain conditions. For each, it is going to be presented a conceptual project, based on modular volumes, which integrate into alternative ways, in terms of different crisis conditions such as the pandemic situation. The environmental conditions which have an impact on buildings are variable, but these design strategies are chosen to reduce the negative environmental impact of a built environment by using modular adaptive and repetitive typologies Also, to enhance indoor environmental quality is used natural ventilation. The three different building typologies are going to be applied in three different terrain conditions: A - The first scenario is the “Linear typology” in flat terrain; B - The second scenario is the “Box massing typology” in a slightly sloping ground near a hill; C - The third scenario is a “Unit house typology” in very sloping ground. This study aims to propose new adaptive typologies and establish a set of design standards, taking into account the impact of the pandemic. By examining these strategies, we, designers and architects can understand the defects of the design products in the pre-epidemic period and make good design decisions in the post-epidemic era. The purpose of the study is to propose new residential communities, rather than a single multi-unit house appearing in the city.
