The Evolution Law of the Subject of Enterprise Compliance Management in China Conflicts with the Logic of Regulation

This paper aims to discuss the conflict between the evolution law of the enterprise compliance management subject and the regulation logic in China. By analyzing the background and demand of the evolution of compliance management subjects, the innovative compliance management concept is put forward, and the application of this concept in enterprise compliance management is introduced in detail. The results show that this concept has significant advantages in promoting the development of enterprise compliance management and solving the conflict of regulatory logic. The study of this paper is of great significance for the deep understanding and application of the evolution law of enterprise compliance management subjects in China.

Membangun Fondasi Complementary Agenda Untuk Transformasi Digital Bisnis

Digital innovation is fundamentally changing the business landscape, driving advances in products, processes and business models. It involves complex interactions between technological and social aspects, creating ambiguity between process and product. It is important to understand how digital innovation impacts business process management. This study uses a literature approach to explore the concepts of digital innovation and business process management. The research was conducted by analyzing related literature from various academic and professional sources, including scientific journals, books and industry publications. Digital innovation not only creates technological progress, but also changes social processes and organizational structures. This phenomenon can be seen in platforms such as Uber or DevOps, which show a close connection between product and process. Digital innovation also enables continuous evolution and improvement of products and processes over time. Business process management is becoming increasingly important in facing the challenges and opportunities brought by digital innovation. Agile and adaptive process management strategies are needed to cope with rapid changes in the digital business environment. From the literature analysis, it appears that integration between digital innovation and business process management is very important. To optimize the benefits of digital innovation, organizations need to adopt an agile and adaptive approach in their process management. This involves continuous adaptation to technological and social changes as well as increased collaboration between various functions within the organization. Suggestions for future research are to conduct more in-depth empirical studies to understand the concrete impact of digital innovation on business process management, as well as to develop a practical framework for applying process management principles in the context of digital innovation.

Old and new: a dynamic capabilities perspective of learning and unlearning

ABSTRACT In this study, we explore innovation processes of innovation-efficient and innovation-inefficient firms. In particular, we investigate how learning and unlearning unfold from the perspective of dynamic capabilities. We employ a case study research approach to analyse learning and unlearning patterns in 24 firms, divided into innovation-efficient and innovation-inefficient firms. We find two different sets of patterns that distinguish innovation-efficient from innovation-inefficient firms. Our results reveal that innovation-efficient companies can quickly shift between learning and unlearning to dynamically orchestrate resources to deal with changes in the environment. In this sense, learning and unlearning are sources of dynamic capabilities, while their interplay is what makes capabilities actually dynamic. Furthermore, we provide implications for practitioners on how to navigate through innovation projects and design innovation management concepts more efficiently.

Retail management policy through firefly algorithm under uncertainty using Dempster-Shafer theory for production firm

With the emergence of challenges in production and inventory fields, there is a need for innovative management concepts. Due to the sensitivity and popularity of smart electronic gadgets, inventory management is highly likely to be damaged in production and holding processes. This study presents a model in uncertain conditions to investigate real-life situations and apply the results. In this model, due to the product’s vulnerability, the damage rate is considered one of the most important parameters. In this research, Dempster-Shafer’s theory is applied to deal with the uncertainty condition of a stochastic damaging rate. As traditional methods cannot search for parametric continuous space, genetic algorithms, and firefly algorithms are used to solve them. Finally, by performing sensitivity analysis and evaluation of algorithms, it is shown that the genetic algorithm uses less amount of time than the firefly algorithm. On the other hand, the total cost of a system with a genetic algorithm is greater than the firefly algorithm. Although the answers obtained from the two algorithms used are almost equal, the firefly algorithm provides a better answer for the optimal objective function. In the genetic algorithm, the optimal values are found to be $0.68756 for the damaging rate and $1896.22 for the total cost. Conversely, the firefly algorithm yields optimal values of $0.68395 for the damaging rate and $1895.1576 for the total cost. These results highlight the efficacy of both algorithms in optimizing the specified parameters, providing valuable insights for inventory management systems.

Study of a Regional Turboprop Aircraft with Electrically Assisted Turboshaft

Hybrid-Electric Propulsion (HEP) could be part of the solution to decrease emissions associated with regional commercial aviation. This study presents results for the aircraft level fuel reduction potential of a regional turboprop concept with an HEP architecture and Entry-Into-Service (EIS) in 2035+. The configuration specifically tackles the elaborated challenges of introducing an additional electrical energy source to the configuration by employing a twofold electrical assistance to a turboshaft engine in combination with an innovative thermal management concept. Relevant components and disciplines were modeled and incorporated into an integrated aircraft design environment. The behavior and interaction of the HEP architecture with the aircraft was thoroughly investigated. A best-performing configuration was derived and compared with a conventional reference configuration following a State-of-the-Art (SoA) reference aircraft approach. For a typical mission with 200 nmi range, a block fuel reduction of 9.6% was found. However, the assumed battery performance characteristics limited the reduction potential and led to a fuel burn increase for the 600 nmi design mission. Furthermore, sourcing the non-propulsive subsystems directly from the on-board battery was detrimental. The innovative Thermal Management System (TMS) located in the propeller slipstream showed a synergistic effect with the investigated configuration.

Elements substantiation of decision-making schemes for the management of prosocial and environmental corporate innovations of industrial enterprises

The article presents the elements of support schemes for decision-making on the management of prosocial and environmental corporate innovations of industrial enterprises with a multimodal element base for building a process and openness of developments, as well as a closed version of innovation implementation a unimodal approach. The approach proposed by the author is based on the concepts of convergent innovations, as well as the Nexus methodology (in other words, the concept of connections). The identified elements of the schemes should help in making decisions about the implementation of innovations and make the right choice for the heads of industrial enterprises within the framework of the ESG concept and the current prosocial and pro-environmental corporate governance philosophy. The article used general logical methods such as analysis, synthesis, abstraction, generalization, idealization, analogy, modeling, logical, structural-functional methods and approaches; visualization methods in the form of a graphical representation of information on the issue under study. The result of the study was a reasonable presentation of decision-making schemes when introducing changes in two areas of innovation implementation aimed at rationalizing the use of natural capital and the transition to a prosocial and pro-environmental concept of corporate innovation management in industrial enterprises.

The problems associated with the introduction of innovations in the implementation of the import substitution program are analyzed. The necessity of considering managerial innovations as regulators providing dynamic balance (consistency) between the processes of functioning and development of the economic object of the building complex is substantiated. The concept of creative and innovative management is given. The features of the emergence and nature of innovative problem situations are considered. It is proposed to solve innovative problem situations the formation of organizational and economic mechanisms implemented through the redistribution of functions, tasks and economic responsibility between the structural blocks and elements of the economic system of enterprises in the construction industry.

Innovation management framework for achieving sustainability through managing risks of innovative solutions during the design process

Purpose This paper aims to develop an innovation management framework for achieving sustainability by managing risks associated with innovative solutions during the design process. Design/methodology/approach To achieve the abovementioned aim, a research methodology was designed to achieve four objectives. Firstly, a literature review was conducted to investigate the concepts of sustainability, innovation, innovation management and innovation and the design process. Secondly, three case studies were selected and analysed to validate the identified risks of innovation and to investigate the role of innovation management towards managing risks of innovation during the design process. Thirdly, a survey questionnaire was carried out with a representative sample of architectural design firms (ADFs) in Egypt to examine their perception and application of innovation management as an approach to managing risks of innovative solutions during the design process. Finally, developing an innovation management framework to achieve sustainability through managing risks associated with innovative solutions during the design process. Findings The literature review revealed that innovation plays a significant role towards achieving sustainability objectives, but integrating innovative solutions during the design process is frequently associated with risks. During the course of this research, 30 risks of innovation were identified and classified into four categories of product, process, person and press. Case studies showed that ADFs that applied innovation management approaches were successful in managing the risks associated with innovative solutions, whereas others that failed to use such approaches failed to meet sustainability objectives. Results of the survey questionnaire revealed that ADFs not only recognised the importance of innovative solutions in developing sustainable projects but also showed a gap between theory and practice. “Project delivery” is the most important type of innovation for ADFs in Egypt, followed by “building technologies” and “organisational culture”. Moreover, there is a misalignment between ADFs’ perceptions and the strategies used to deliver successful innovations. The highest risks of innovation are “unanticipated cost of innovation”, “manufacturing technologies and development issues” and “failing to meet technical criteria”. Research limitations/implications Because of the conceptual nature of the developed framework, it has to be tested and validated to ensure its capability to achieve sustainability through managing the risks of innovative solutions during the design process which, in this research, adopted the Royal Institute of British Architects plan of work stages. Moreover, the lack of data availability directed this study to present and analyse only three case studies. Practical implications This research presents a practical solution to achieve sustainability through managing risks of innovation during the design process. It is a structured tool that can be used by ADFs in Egypt towards facilitating the shift in the direction of a more economically viable, environmentally friendly and socially acceptable built environment. Originality/value Although innovative design solutions are needed in developing sustainable buildings, a practical and systematic framework to manage associated risks during the design process is still lacking. In addition, current studies are business-oriented and need to be reinterpreted to fit with the architectural, engineering and construction disciplines. Thus, this research developed an innovation management framework to achieve sustainability through managing the risks associated with innovative solutions during the design process, which represents a synthesis that is novel and creative in thought and adds value to the knowledge in a manner that has not been previously explored.

This article is dedicated to identifying the peculiarities of implementing the concept of "lean manufacturing" in the transportation industry as a method for improving performance indicators and the quality of transportation services. In the current era of global competition, success in the market can only be achieved by introducing innovative management concepts into a company's operations. It outlines the main types of losses identified by the "lean manufacturing" concept and suggests measures to eliminate them for transportation companies. In today's conditions, the primary task for transportation companies is to ensure their sustainable and efficient functioning. Given modern development trends, the most promising tool in this economic environment is "lean manufacturing." Economic development is a crucial component of a company's success, as it ensures the satisfaction of new consumer needs, enhances the organization's competitiveness, and strengthens its position on the international stage. It also creates conditions and a financial and technological base for further growth. The operation of any company is impossible without clear interaction among all processes in its system, including technological, technical, production, and management processes. The stages of the process of introducing "lean manufacturing" in the transport sector are studied. One of the most effective methods to enhance competitiveness and increase production process efficiency is the concept of "lean manufacturing", which has several significant advantages over other management and production organization methods. Intensive global competition, rapid technological changes, progress in manufacturing and information technologies, as well as demanding customers, force transportation companies to optimize processes, operations, and all possible activities to provide high-quality services in a short period. Considering current development trends, "lean manufacturing" is the most promising tool in the transportation industry under today's economic conditions. Therefore, let's delve into and thoroughly examine the features of this concept.

The article is devoted to the study of the problem of resistance to innovation in the field of social services of the population by staff in organizations providing social services to citizens of the older generation. In the course of the research, the key elements of personnel management during the introduction of innovations and the main strategic barriers to innovative development in the social sphere of St. Petersburg. In this paper, an attempt will be made to reveal the concepts of innovation, innovation activity and innovation management as a way of managing innovation processes, as well as the experience of innovative activities of social institutions in St. Petersburg. 
 In conclusion, the directions concerning the formation and development of the innovative potential of personnel and organizations in the social service system were formulated.

Accelerating Innovation through Agility: Transforming a Manufacturer’s Product Innovation Department

In a world typified by uncertainty and unprecedented change, agility is the key theme to innovation and essential for maintaining competitiveness. There is a notable gap between the concepts’ popularity and the understanding of how agile practices influence firms’ innovation processes and output. This study draws on the case of a leading family-owned manufacturing firm in the dental supplier industry transforming their product innovation department by means of agile practices. Building on theoretical concepts of innovation management and agility we study the adoption, use and efficacy of agile practices to facilitate companies’ innovation processes. Our findings highlight the importance of leadership capabilities that encourage individuals’ innovation activities. We found that an organization-specific innovative culture and organizational commitment are vital to facilitating the agile transition. These factors enhance employees’ beliefs and willingness to contribute to the transformation. Additionally, we discuss learnings and insights for managers operating non-software producing areas, searching for approaches to manage complexity and being not naturally firm with agile transitions.

Perspective Projects Screening Model for Decision-makers at Administrative Level

The field of social innovation is developing rapidly all over the world, with new institutions, methods and activities. More systematic innovation methods are being applied to some of the most challenging social problems of our times. The main purpose of this paper is to present the designed decision-making model as a support for evaluation of social innovation projects using multiple criteria decision-making methods. First, the theoretical background and foundations of social innovation are described. The essence of evaluation approaches that can be used in this field as well as multi-stage evaluation processes have been discussed. This information is the basis for presenting the model for screening of social innovation projects. The considerations are completed with an indication of possible directions for further research on new instruments useful in evaluation processes of such projects. The logic and process of the decision-making model elaboration as well as the decision model itself can be used as a framework for managers facing decision-making problems with similar nature as innovation management concepts.

Embedding non-industrial private forest owners in forest policy and bioeconomy issues using a Living Lab concept

International policies have set sustainable development goals that put emphasis on bioeconomy strategies based on renewable resources. The forestry sector, by providing bio-based products, is expected to take part in this bioeconomy with, among other things, the reduction of society's dependence on fossil fuels. Nevertheless, in Europe, the forestry sector is facing an increase in the number of small private forest ownerships, called non-industrial private forests (NIPF), where wood mobilization is difficult due to both ownership fragmentation and the lack of interest of non-industrial forest owners in existing forest-wood chains. Although many policy instruments have been put in place to address this situation, the problem persists for two main reasons. First, a lack of use of policy instruments by forest owners and second, a lack of collaboration between stakeholders. To provide solutions, we propose a methodology to design territorial projects with non-industrial forest owners in the framework of a Living Lab innovation process. This paper presents both the general method developed and analyzed through open and user-centered innovation concepts and its practical implementation in the Vosges department in France. Our results show how the Living Lab approach can improve the acceptance, adoption and use of policy instruments by NIPF owners and how it promotes multi-stakeholder collaborations to design and deploy innovative solutions. The main interest of our study is to provide a methodology to pilot a forestry Living Lab for policy makers and practitioners, based on rigorous concepts of innovation management. Finally, future developments and limitations of our study are discussed in a global research perspective.

КОНЦЕПЦІЯ ІННОВАЦІЙНОГО УПРАВЛІННЯ ПЕРСОАЛОМ ТЕЛЕКОМУНІАЦІЙНИХ ПІДПИЄМСТВ В УМОВАХ ЦИФРОВОЇ ЕКОНОМІКИ

The article examines the concept of innovative personnel management of a telecommunications enterprise as a current trend of global management in the conditions of the digital economy. Digital transformations have a rapid nature of development and have touched practically all spheres of society. Digitization contributes to the development of the digital economy, the modernization of methods of organizational and managerial activity. All this creates prerequisites for the spread of the introduction of innovative personnel management methods at telecommunications enterprises. It was determined that the formation of the company's management strategy should be complex and should be aimed at the use of innovative management methods. The main priorities of the management strategy of the telecommunications enterprise in the conditions of the digital economy are outlined. It is noted that the activity of telecommunications enterprises is the basis of the digital economy. Telecommunication enterprises form the basis of the strategic field of communication and informatization, and are also of strategic importance for the country's defense and the functioning of the economy. It is shown that in view of the need for stable operation of telecommunications enterprises in the conditions of martial law, the task of developing and implementing innovative methods of personnel management at these enterprises is an urgent issue today. The main priorities of the personnel management strategy of the telecommunications enterprise are highlighted. It is noted that the modern management strategy should have a comprehensive nature and be aimed at the use of innovative management methods. The need to develop an updated concept of personnel management, which in today's conditions will allow telecommunications enterprises to work efficiently and provide vital communication and telecommunications services, has been revealed. Factors of qualitative changes in the concept of personnel management of telecommunication enterprises are outlined. It is substantiated that the personnel management of telecommunications enterprises based on innovations is the driving force of the socio-economic development of the enterprise, the basis of its stable work, which today ensures the country's defense capability in solving strategic tasks of both the enterprise itself and the state in general.

Establishment of Elements and Principles of High Reliability Organizations in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of de Soyza Maternity Hospital, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Introduction: “High Reliability Organizations (HRO)” is an innovative safety management concept. An effort to transform a health care setting in Sri Lanka to a HRO – management structure is worthwhile to experience the outcomes of this model in Sri Lankan hospital context. Objective: To establish a HRO - management structure in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of De Soyza Maternity Hospital Colombo. Design: Pre / post interventional study design was used. Functional status of HRO structure in the NICU was assessed; using 5 HRO principles (ie. Pre occupation with failure, Resistance to simplify, Sensitivity to operations, Commitment to resilience and Deference to expertise) and 5 HRO elements (ie. Process auditing, Rewarding, Avoidance of quality degradation, Risk perception, and Command and control), at pre and post interventional levels. Methods: Practice of HRO principles was assessed using a Self - Administered Questionnaire with a rating scale, with the participation of all the NICU staff. Practice of HRO elements was assessed by a facility survey using a check list. Intervention consisted of a managerial plan with activities to establish the HRO concept. Results: Results showed a statistically significant increase of “response scores” of participants towards HRO structure and the facility survey showed the establishment of planned activities. Conclusion: It was concluded that implementation of this plan, is gradually establishing the HRO management structure in NICU of DMH.

The article discusses and analyzes various concepts of innovation management in different periods of time. Their features, advantages and disadvantages are revealed. A chronological table of the evolution of innovation management concepts is constructed. A new concept of innovation management is proposed taking into account the current state of the economy.

ОСОБЛИВОСТІ ІННОВАЦІЙНОГО СТРАТЕГІЧНОГО УПРАВЛІННЯ ПІДПРИЄМСТВАМИ ПІД ЧАС ПАНДЕМІЇ COVID-19

The article considers the features of innovative strategic management of enterprises during the pandemic COVID-19. The critical analysis of scientific works on the outlined problems is investigated and it is revealed not to open questions concerning a crisis situation of the enterprises which have been caused by quarantine. At the same time, the issues related to the features and specifics of the formation of innovative strategic management in times of crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic for the formation and selection of solutions in enterprises are studied at a low level. The concept of strategy and innovative strategic management and strategic planning is revealed. Peculiarities and principles of strategic planning that characterize the management structure and production and technical base of the enterprise are determined. The main stages of management processes of the enterprise on the basis of which the basic elements of the innovative vision of a problem of the enterprises were presented are investigated. It is innovative thinking and is a promising solution for the formation of strategic management during quarantine. Strategic management in the article is considered as a set of five interrelated management processes and related typical actions. The forms of strategy implementation and strategic control are determined. The model of innovative strategic management of the enterprise is developed. The basis of the offered model is the thorough analysis of activity of the enterprise, namely: potential of the enterprise in a cut of its components, the strategic analysis. It is mandatory to take into account environmental factors, the impact of which on the activities of the enterprise is variable and unstable. Recommendations for strategic management of enterprises during the crisis caused by Covid-19 have been formed. Namely, the two most expedient and possible for the implementation of innovative management strategies were noted: the strategy is related to the development of the transportation system; the strategy is aimed at developing the production and technical base and personnel.

SPORTS MANAGEMENT FORMATION CONCEPT IN THE CONTEXT OF COVID-19 PANDEMIC COLLECTIONS

The relevance of the research in sports management is due to insufficient theoretical development of a particular topic related to praxeological significance growth in the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic, and vectors identification of change in sports development, including the development of grassroots and Olympic sports. The article examines the conditions of sports management formation in the COVID-19 pandemic, which significantly actualize sports development, self-realization in sports, educational policy formation aimed at sports development and sports achievements at all levels, sports management concept in the modern world and Ukraine. According to the analysis, sports resuscitation and sports achievements, the use of its potential directly depend upon management level of sport processes. The purpose of the research: the concept formation of sports management in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic challenges. To achieve this goal, the following tasks are set: 1) to analyze sports management as a priority area of ​​state activity in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic challenges; 2) to clarify the subject, object and principles of sports management in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic challenges; 3) to form an innovative sports management concept in Ukraine in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic challenges. To achieve this goal, the theoretical and methodological principles of sports development in the context of modern sports paradigm in Ukraine in the conditions of COVID-19. At the heart of sports management is the urgent problems solution of sports society, which is due to the need study the axiological, ontological, anthropological, metaphysical sports development principles, improving the sports development of an individual. Sports management formation concept in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic includes an analysis of the problems associated with the deterioration of public health.
