The Applied Research of E-commerce Technology from the Perspective of Communication Studies

With the rapid development of computer network technology and information technology, the e-commerce mode is constantly innovated and applied, which has injected new vitality into the commercial activities. In terms of technology, advanced technologies such as mobile payment, artificial intelligence, big data and AR technology have been widely used in the field of e-commerce, and the innovation of e-commerce technology has also promoted the enrichment of content and diversification of information dissemination. As a subject of information communication and communication, communication science provides important theoretical support and practical guidance for the development of e-commerce technology. From the perspective of communication science, this paper discusses in-depth the innovation and application of e-commerce technology, aiming to reveal the important role of the principle of communication science in the development of e-commerce technology, and discuss how to promote the sustainable development of e-commerce industry through technological innovation and application.

Computing Education Interventions to Increase Gender Equity from 2000 to 2020: A Systematic Literature Review

Although gender parity has been achieved in some STEM fields, gender disparities persist in computing, one of the fastest-growing and highest-earning career fields. In this systematic literature review, we expand upon academic momentum theory to categorize computing interventions intended to make computing environments more inclusive to girls and women and consider how those characteristics vary by the success of the intervention. Particular attention is given to the efficacy of broadening participation and success for women in computer science, information technology, and related fields. After scrutinizing 168 relevant studies, 48 met the inclusion criteria and were included. We introduce a framework for gender equity in computing, expanding on existing research on academic and STEM momentum to encompass new domains representing social and structural momentum. Our analysis reveals the complex roles of intervention domains, strategies, goals, levels, and duration in shaping their efficacy. Implications for theory, research, and practice are discussed.

Pengaruh Live Streaming Tiktok Sebagai Aplikasi Komunikasi Digital Dan Dampaknya Pada Purchase Intention (Studi Kasus Brand Senikersku)

The digital age brings significant changes with the advent of computer information technology and the internet. Digital media provides easier and faster access to information, allowing direct interaction between individuals and organizations through various platforms, including TikTok live streaming. TikTok has become popular as a digital communication platform that allows brands to interact directly with consumers, including in the context of the Snikersku brand. This study aims to analyze the effect of TikTok live streaming as a digital communication application on consumer purchase intention for skincare products for Brand Senikersku. This research uses a descriptive analysis method with a qualitative approach, mainly through literature study. Data was collected from various sources such as books, journals, the internet, and previous research to gain a deeper understanding of the influence of TikTok live streaming on consumer purchase intention. The results showed that TikTok live streaming has a significant influence on consumer purchase intention towards Brand Senikersku. Direct interaction between brands and consumers, as well as entertainment and product visualization presented in live streaming, play an important role in increasing consumer purchase intention. In TikTok live streaming, entertainment and product visualization are key to influencing consumer purchase intentions. The combination of live interaction, entertainment, and product information increases brand awareness, builds trust, and increases sales for the Snikersku brand.

Application of computer data model in the characteristics and evolution of ceramic decorative painting

With the rapid development of computer technology, computer information technology has made intelligent transformation to all industries. It is particularly important to optimize the computerization of ceramic painting. This paper analyzes the development of ceramic decorative painting and the basic principle of computer data model, determines the method of combining ceramic decorative painting with computer data model, and establishes a computer data model for feature extraction of ceramic decorative painting. And 1015 images of self-made ceramic decorative paintings are applied to carry out simulation analysis. The results show that compared with the traditional classification algorithm based on non deep learning and the partial classification algorithm based on deep learning, the average F1 value of the hybrid neural network model is 96.4%, which is 1.5% higher than the best traditional model. This shows that the designed computer data model for feature extraction of ceramic decorative painting has a good effect on the classification and feature recognition of ceramic painting. This has laid a certain foundation for the computerized optimization of ceramic decorative painting and provided a good support for the healthy development of ceramic decorative painting in the information age.

Study on Comparative Analysis of Production of Dry Fruit Economic Forest Products Based on Big Data

The analysis of economic forest products production in Shandong Province mainly focuses on economic forest production and output value as well as economic forest plantation area, capital and labour input. By analysing the above, the basic situation of economic forest products production in Shandong Province can be understood on a macro level, laying the foundation for the subsequent study of the relevant data of the farmers, and at the same time providing a reference for the relevant management. There is an obvious gap between the production value of economic forest products in Shandong Province and that of the whole country. By combining modern information technologies such as 3S, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, big data, cloud computing and other modern information technologies, we have established an integrated modern forest cultivation technology system ranging from the intelligent evaluation of forest terrain conditions, ecological environment simulation and simulation to the precise monitoring and diagnosis of forest growth, intelligent equipment and variable irrigation and fertilisation, etc. It is of great practical significance to expand the scale of production value of economic forest products in Shandong Province and narrow the gap with the national average level by carrying out research on the production and management efficiency of economic forest products in Shandong Province.

Students online learning experience during emergency remote teaching in higher education

For actionable insight, this study explored computer science and information technology students’ online learning experience in an emergency remote teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic in a public technical university in Ghana. A mixed method research of both quantitative and qualitative design was used to expand the evidence base. The inherent set of factors of the learning experience were determined by an exploratory factor analysis and confirmed with a multiple regression. Six factors comprising sense of concern, institutional support, effective communication, connectedness, mediated technologies, and stress levels explained 66.5% of the variance in the patterns of relationship. All factors had positive regression weights and added significantly to the prediction. Potentials identified comprised positive reactions to institutional support, improved lecturer-student interaction, active participation, accessible course contents, and moderately high future online learning expectations. The challenges included unpreparedness, unreliable Internet, high cost of data, and incidental learning design and pedagogy. Evidently, the higher education landscape shifted during the pandemic in obvious ways to merit further studies and reflective online learning administration to inform robust technology-oriented post-pandemic practices.

Employers Feedback on the Performance of the College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology (CCSICT) Graduates

This study is an assessment of the employer’s feedback on the performance of College of Computing Studies, Information and Communication Technology (CCSICT) graduates in the workplace with respect to quality and quantity of work, job knowledge, and working relationships.
 The study used a descriptive research method utilizing the employers of employed graduates as key informants. The respondents were purposely chosen who are managers or supervisors of companies and institutions of the graduates. Data from the 98 employers were gathered using a survey questionnaire. Weighted mean, frequency count, percentage, and rank were used to interpret the result of the survey.
 Results showed that graduates are employed in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. This means that the graduates have jobs related to their course. The majority of employers who participated in the survey are from the private sector. Employers were very satisfied with the graduate's quality and quantity of work, job knowledge, and work relationship. The top attributes used to evaluate the graduates' performance were the quantity of work and the working relationships. The findings suggested putting emphasis on written and oral communication skills and improving networking, troubleshooting skills, and graphics and design skills.

Enhanced Empowering Futures through Online Job Portal

This research aims to develop a job web portal for the students in the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology. The main aims of this portal are to connect with industries and act as an online recruitment tool to support students in finding the right IT job after graduation. Furthermore, this system enhances the understanding of the concept and importance of the job portal for students in universities. A survey was conducted to identify the students’ problems with the existing portal of the faculty and to gather their requirements, which can be incorporated into the portal to be developed.

Prospects of information-computer technologies in teaching biology

The article deals with the problems of information support of biology lessons as plans for the implementation of a didactic approach to the development of the content of their technological composition of education, as it makes it possible to use computer videos, multimedia presentations in the lesson, which allows students to activate motivation and increase the effectiveness of learning. Today, the use of modern information technologies in the educational process makes it possible to improve the quality of the presentation of educational material and increase the effectiveness of training. Studies have shown that the practice of a biology teacher today includes active teaching methods using information and computer technologies, which opens up new opportunities for developing students' cognitive interest in the subject being taught. The authors of the article consider the possibility and even the strategic necessity of using information and computer technologies (ICT) in teaching biology, which allows solving the problems of computerization of education from an organizational point of view and increasing the effectiveness of teaching.

Empowering teachers: Enhancing Business Studies teachers' technology integration skills through technology peer mentoring

Schools worldwide are continually seeking out various strategies to improve teachers' skills in integrating technology. One strategy that some schools adopt to enhance teachers' technology integration skills is technology peer mentoring. This qualitative study investigates how technology peer mentoring is used to enhance the technology integration skills of business studies teachers in selected schools in South Africa. Interpretivism was adopted as the research paradigm, and an exploratory case study was used as the research design for this study. Purposive sampling was used to select six business studies teachers from six secondary schools located in the Kwa-Zulu Natal province. Thematic analysis was used to analyse the data collected through semi-structured interviews. The study revealed that business studies teachers benefited immensely from their colleagues in the fields of Computer Application Technology and Information Technology during technology peer mentoring. This is because IT and CAT teachers possess both pedagogical and technological knowledge, which makes it easier for them to mentor business studies teachers in integrating technology into their instructional practices. The study concluded that technology peer mentoring helps enhance teachers' technology integration skills. Therefore, the study recommends that technology peer mentoring be adopted in South African schools as part of the strategies to enhance teachers' technology integration skills.

A study on the action mechanism of digital transformation on the output quality of technological innovation

The fourth Industrial Revolution is in full swing, the whole world is pondering the same question: Where is the core breakthrough? With the continuous breakthrough and extensive application of cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence and other next-generation information technologies, One sign has emerged: digital economy is becoming a new driving force for global economic growth. The impact of digital transformation on enterprises is to improve the quality and efficiency、Improve information quality, Or spread out limited resources and reduce productivity, There is no consensus among academics. To fill that gap, this paper aims to sort out the internal mechanism of how digital transformation improves the output quality of the technological innovation of enterprises from a theoretical perspective, and to establish a digital transformation index at the micro level. On this basis, this study empirically examines how digital transformation affects the output quality of technological innovation.we adopts panel data. It uses data collected from 159 manufacturing enterprises in China. By adopting the methods of PLS structural equation and fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis (fsQCA), it empirically tests the research model and conducts a mediation analysis through regression analysis. The findings indicated that, Digital transformation can help manufacturing enterprises to improve the output quality of their technological innovation; digital infrastructure plays a significant mediating role between digital transformation and the output quality of technological innovation; the investment of manufacturing enterprises in software and hardware digital infrastructure have a positive impact on the output quality of technological innovation. There is a complementary relationship between the two. The paper was conducted in the context of Chinese culture and can be generalized to other Asian countries. We believe that the research conclusions of this study have important practical significance for how manufacturing enterprises can effectively carry out digital transformation and improve the output quality of technological innovation.

Library Circulation Patterns among Social Sciences and Humanities Students: A Case Study at Rajarata University of Sri Lanka

This study aims to explore the Circulation Patterns within the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities (SSH) at Rajarata University in Sri Lanka. The problem identified is the lack of knowledge about the circulation patterns and user demand for different subjects within the library. It seeks to address the existing research gap about the Library user circulation pattern among students associated with the above faculty level. The study specifically investigates the period from 2015 to 2019, taking into account the progressive growth and diversity of the Library collections. The rest of the objectives of the study are to determine the user demand for different subject disciplines and to assess the circulation trends. To achieve these objectives, the primary data was gathered from the Report Module of the Integrated KOHA Library Management System of Rajarata University of Sri Lanka, and the retrieved data was then analyzed statistically by Microsoft Excel. The findings of the study offer valuable insights into Library circulation and the book usage patterns of students. The research reveals a significant demand for Textbooks in the field of Social Sciences among students, retrieving huge hits for the main subject disciplines such as Religion, Philosophy, and Psychology instead of the disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, and General Works. It is recommended that the Library allocate additional resources and prioritize budget allocation toward the Social Sciences field. This would involve acquiring popular books that cater to the diverse needs of students and faculties across various disciplines, ultimately contributing to the development of a comprehensive collection that effectively addresses the requirements of individuals from diverse backgrounds.

ON IMPROVING THE ACCURACY OF CARTOMETRIC AND MORPHOMETRIC COMPUTING METHODS IN THE GEOINFORMATION ENVIRONMENT

Determination of hydrographic characteristics on large-scale maps with maximum accuracy requires sufficient time and volume of cartometric work. The current level of geographic information systems (GIS) and computer technologies allows to reduce the volume of cartometric operations. The implementation of calculations of the morphometric characteristics of watercourses, reservoirs, and watersheds in the GIS environment ensures the determination of these properties regardless of the scale of maps, map projection, or distance from the axial meridian of a particular projection zone. This article demonstrates the use of analytical and numerical methods for cartometric and morphometric calculations on the reference ellipsoid. The researched calculation methods determine the geodetic areas of geospatial objects with root mean square errors from 0,030 to 0,809 m2.

A Review of Immersive Technologies, Knowledge Representation, and AI for Human-Centered Digital Experiences

The evolution of digital technologies has resulted in the emergence of diverse interaction technologies. In this paper, we conducted a review of seven domains under a human-centric approach user interface design, human-centered web-based information systems, semantic knowledge representation, X-reality applications, human motion and 3D digitization, serious games, and AI. In this review, we studied these domains concerning their impact on the way we interact with digital interfaces, process information, and engage in immersive experiences. As such, we highlighted the shifts in design paradigms, user-centered principles, and the rise of web-based information systems. The results of such shifts are materialized in modern immersive technologies, semantic knowledge representation, serious games, and the facilitation of artificial intelligence for interactions. Through this exploration, we aimed to assist our understanding of the challenges that lie ahead. The seamless integration of technologies, ethical considerations, accessibility, education for technological literacy, interoperability, user trust, environmental sustainability, and regulatory frameworks are becoming significant. These challenges present opportunities for the future to enrich human experiences while addressing societal needs. This paper lays the groundwork for thoughtful and innovative approaches to the challenges that will define the future of human–computer interaction and information technologies.

АНАЛИЗ ПРИМЕНЕНИЯ КОМПЬЮТЕРНЫХ ИНФОРМАЦИОННЫХ ТЕХНОЛОГИЙ В СЕТИ ИНТЕРНЕТ

In the modern era of the rapid development of the Internet, computer information technologies and the Internet have become one of the important tools for the normal functioning of society, and the connection between them is becoming closer and closer. The new Internet+ business format has opened up new development models for various industries. From this point of view, the Internet provides a platform for the transmission of information for all sectors of society, and also facilitates the flow and transfer of information between different industries. As soon as there is a risk of this information being leaked to the Internet, this will create problems for users. Therefore, the problem of analyzing and studying computer information technologies, strengthening their application on the Internet and providing more secure functions for transmitting and using user information, thereby increasing the security of the Internet during use, is urgent.

Modeling of the business process of workers' remuneration as an integral part of a balanced scorecard

The article is devoted to issues, related to the development of a system of remuneration for workers of a manufacturing enterprise. The enterprise is considered from the point of view of modeling business processes in accordance with the concept of a balanced scorecard (BSC). The importance of modeling the business process of workers remuneration in the context of digital transformation of the enterprise is shown. The efficiency of the entire production process largely depends on the business process of remuneration, which has a significant impact on the efficiency of the enterprise as a whole. The use of computer equipment and information technologies allows not only to form reasonable shift tasks on a daily basis and objectively take into account their implementation, but also to build a fundamentally new remuneration system. In the developed management systems in the conditions of digital transformation, it becomes possible to quickly, differentially and reliably assess the labor results of each employee and the workshop or site as a whole, ensuring economic interest in strictly performing planned shift tasks. The implementation of this method leads to increased motivation and productive, high-quality work, to economical use of material, energy and other resources.

Strengthening Undergraduate Information Systems Education in an Increasingly Complex Computing Disciplines Landscape

There are concerns that even at times when overall computing degree enrollments are increasing, IS bachelor’s degree programs and enrollments continue to decline. IS programs differ from other computing programs in that they include highly interrelated business and technology components. This inherent interdisciplinarity is the source of its value but also one of its challenges. This paper uses the Australian higher education sector as a case study to examine overall computing degree offerings including IS offerings using the ACM/AIS curriculum models and classification of computing disciplines. We find that IS program offerings are indeed trending down and that computing offerings are dominated by Computer Science and Information Technology degrees. IS is not widely present as a “base” discipline, nor is it providing a platform for the integration of new technologies, such as AI and Cyber Security into “business” settings. To strengthen UG IS programs and perceptions, we recommend that higher education providers develop structure and processes that support interdisciplinary UG IS program development and delivery and that professional bodies and curriculum models be revised to reflect and recognize the business outcome focus of IS. These actions, together with clearer messaging around the value of IS competencies, will improve the image of IS.
