Kinetic equations for the collisional plasma model

Using the collisional plasma model (CPM) representation, expressions are derived for the Vlasov operator both in its general form and in the drift-kinetic approximation following the recursive derivation by Hazeltine (1973). The expressions for the operators give easily calculated couplings between neighbouring components of the CPM representation. Expressions for various macroscopic observables in the drift-kinetic approximation are also given.
