Development of Self-Directed Learning-Based Bank and Financial Institution Textbooks to Improve the Quality of Learning

One indicator of learning is said to be of quality like the existence of an effective combination of learning media and the methods used in learning. In this case, one of the learning media studied is textbooks combined with self-directed learning based learning methods. Where in the research conducted it is hoped that it will be able to make the quality of learning increase, especially in bank and financial institution courses. The method used in research is research and development (RnD). The stages of textbook development are: preliminary research, problem identification, data collection and textbook preparation, validation by experts, revisions, small-scale trials, follow-up revisions, extensive trials, final revisions, and final textbooks. The results obtained are 1) textbooks are suitable for use in learning from the results of expert validation with a minimum score of 75% to 90%; 2) an increase in student collaboration skills from a score of 77 to 82 and increased to 89; 3) an increase in student activity from a score of 79 to 83 and increased to 93; 4) the learning outcomes of students who scored > 85 also increased from 5 students to 12 students, and increased again to 17 students. Meanwhile, the results of the comparative test with SPSS showed that the Sig.(2-tailed) student collaboration ability was 0.000 <0.05; student activity score Sig.(2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05; and student learning outcomes with a Sig.(2-tailed) score of 0.000 <0.05, thus indicating a significant difference both before and after the use of textbooks for banks and financial institutions based on self-directed learning.

Research on the construction of a collaborative ability evaluation system for the joint graduation design of new engineering specialty groups based on digital technology

Conducting research on the construction of a collaborative ability evaluation system for the joint graduation design of new engineering specialty groups based on digital technology holds great practical relevance. In this paper, which is based on a comprehensive analysis and research of the current situation pertaining to the joint graduation design of college graduates in China and elsewhere and on the construction of a collaborative ability evaluation system, combined with the talent training program of the joint graduation design, the Delphi method and the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) are adopted to establish a hierarchical structure model of the collaborative ability evaluation system for joint graduation design. In this system, collaborative abilities in the areas of cognition, behavior and emergency management are used as the criteria level evaluation indices. Additionally, collaborative ability in regard to targets, to knowledge, to relationships, to software, to the workflow, to organization, to culture, to learning and to conflict are used as evaluation indices. The comparison judgment matrix of the evaluation indices is constructed at the collaborative ability criterion level and at the index level. By calculating the maximum eigenvalue and corresponding eigenvector of the judgment matrix, the weight assignment of the evaluation indices is obtained, and the evaluation indices are sorted. Finally, the related research content is evaluated. The research results show that the key evaluation indicators for the collaborative ability evaluation system of joint graduation design that need to be considered are easy to determine, and these indicators provide a theoretical reference for the reform of graduation design teaching of new engineering specialty groups.

Communication and Collaboration Ability Through STEAM Learning Based Project Based Learning (PjBL) Grade V Elementary School

The aim of this research is to find out if there is an increase in communication and collaboration skills in learning using the STEAM approach based on Project Based Learning (PjBL) for fifth grade elementary school students. The method used is field research with a qualitative approach. The results of the study show that learning using the STEM-based project-based learning approach can improve students' soft skills, especially in the communication and collaboration skills of fifth grade elementary school students. STEAM is a new knowledge that is rarely used by teachers in learning. PjBL-based STEAM can develop students' communication and collaboration skills to adapt to 21st Century developments. MIM Patikraja, Patikraja District, Banyumas Regency is one of the madrasas that implements PjBL-based STEAM learning in teaching and learning activities that have a positive impact. Among them, in addition to learning to be creative and fun, MIM Patikraja students and teachers often make achievements in various fields of competition. Because students and teachers are used to establishing good communication and collaboration. In addition, STEAM teaches students and teachers to be literate in technology so as to facilitate the learning process

Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Kognitif dan Kerjasama Peserta Didik melalui Lesson Study Berbasis Model Discovery Learning

This research was carried out with the aim of knowing the increase in learning outcomes and cooperation of students in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang through Lesson Study based on the Discovery Learning Model. Implementation of the discovery learning learning model through Lesson Study in the LPTK Lecturer Partnership Program activities with teachers in schools in 2022. The research method used is Classroom Action Research combined with Lesson Study which consists of 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of activities: (1) Planning (Plan), (2) Implementation and Observation (Do), and (3) Reflection (See). The results of the research that has been done show that the application of lesson study based on the discovery learning model can improve cognitive learning outcomes and the collaborative abilities of students in class XI MIPA 2 SMA Negeri 4 Kupang NTT. The results of this study showed an increase in students' classical learning mastery from pre-cycle to cycle I reaching 33.33% and cycle II reaching 50.00%. While the ability to cooperate also increased, amounting to 55.56% in cycle I and increased by 83.33% in cycle II.

Application of Robot Automation Technology Based on Machine Assisted and Artificial Intelligence in Distribution Network Overhead Line Engineering

INTRODUCTION: The development of artificial intelligence technology in the context of the intelligent era shows vigorous vigor and vitality, and artificial intelligence fusion of robotic automation technology can assist manpower to complete all kinds of difficult operations, distribution network overhead line as the current power transmission lines equipped with the main way for domestic power transmission and regional power safety is of great significance. OBJECTIVES: In order to reduce the labor intensity of operators, reduce the occurrence of power outages, and ensure the reliability of power supply, we discuss the application of robotic automation technology of machine-assisted and artificial intelligence in the distribution network overhead line project. METHODS: Distribution network with power operation intelligent robot will grid lines in the wave speed information through the sensor transmission to the computer system, the computer system will grid lines in the wave speed converted to the wave speed of the overhead line, can be mixed lines in the wave speed inconsistent problem to provide a good solution. RESULTS: At the scene of the work, the artificial intelligence distribution network power-carrying operation robot integrating artificial intelligence technology has a good application effect for the wiring in the distribution network overhead line project. CONCLUSION: Robot automation technology incorporates the advantages of artificial intelligence, can rely on sensor systems and computer systems to perceive and identify things, and can autonomously control their own behavior, automated processing of complex actions, with a certain degree of perception, planning and collaborative ability, can be applied to the distribution network overhead line project.

Synergy of Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 Imagery for Crop Classification Based on DC-CNN

Over the years, remote sensing technology has become an important means to obtain accurate agricultural production information, such as crop type distribution, due to its advantages of large coverage and a short observation period. Nowadays, the cooperative use of multi-source remote sensing imagery has become a new development trend in the field of crop classification. In this paper, the polarimetric components of Sentinel-1 (S-1) decomposed by a new model-based decomposition method adapted to dual-polarized SAR data were introduced into crop classification for the first time. Furthermore, a Dual-Channel Convolutional Neural Network (DC-CNN) with feature extraction, feature fusion, and encoder-decoder modules for crop classification based on S-1 and Sentinel-2 (S-2) was constructed. The two branches can learn from each other by sharing parameters so as to effectively integrate the features extracted from multi-source data and obtain a high-precision crop classification map. In the proposed method, firstly, the backscattering components (VV, VH) and polarimetric components (volume scattering, remaining scattering) were obtained from S-1, and the multispectral feature was extracted from S-2. Four candidate combinations of multi-source features were formed with the above features. Following that, the optimal one was found on a trial. Next, the characteristics of optimal combinations were input into the corresponding network branches. In the feature extraction module, the features with strong collaboration ability in multi-source data were learned by parameter sharing, and they were deeply fused in the feature fusion module and encoder-decoder module to obtain more accurate classification results. The experimental results showed that the polarimetric components, which increased the difference between crop categories and reduced the misclassification rate, played an important role in crop classification. Among the four candidate feature combinations, the combination of S-1 and S-2 features had a higher classification accuracy than using a single data source, and the classification accuracy was the highest when two polarimetric components were utilized simultaneously. On the basis of the optimal combination of features, the effectiveness of the proposed method was verified. The classification accuracy of DC-CNN reached 98.40%, with Kappa scoring 0.98 and Macro-F1 scoring 0.98, compared to 2D-CNN (OA reached 94.87%, Kappa scored 0.92, and Macro-F1 scored 0.95), FCN (OA reached 96.27%, Kappa scored 0.94, and Macro-F1 scored 0.96), and SegNet (OA reached 96.90%, Kappa scored 0.95, and Macro-F1 scored 0.97). The results of this study demonstrated that the proposed method had significant potential for crop classification.

Effects of a virtual simulation-based interprofessional education activity for rehabilitation nursing using shared resources: A quasi-experimental study

BackgroundInterprofessional education (IPE) is crucial for effective clinical practice but remains challenging to be implemented. The IPE activity using virtual simulation (VS) may potentially solve the time and space challenges of in-person interprofessional simulations. Using shared VS resources may increase the popularity of virtual teaching in conditions of limited resources. ObjectivesUsing shared resources, this study aimed to design and implement a VS-based IPE activity for undergraduate healthcare students, exploring the effects. DesignA quasi-experimental design was used, with assessments conducted before and after the activity. SettingsOne university and its affiliated hospitals in south China. ParticipantsForty-two undergraduate students majoring in nursing, clinical medicine, and rehabilitation therapy participated in this study. MethodsA test composed of ten questions was used to evaluate knowledge of rehabilitation. The Chinese version of Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CTDI-CV) and the Chinese version of Assessment of Interprofessional Team Collaboration in Student Learning Scale (AITCS-II (Student)-CV) were used to evaluate critical thinking and interprofessional collaboration. Participants' opinions about the activity were assessed, considering satisfaction, perceived effectiveness, the ease of shared VS platform use, and suggestions about the activity. ResultsSignificant improvements were shown in pre- and post-test total scores on knowledge of rehabilitation, mean scores for overall critical thinking disposition, and mean item scores on overall interprofessional team collaboration. ConclusionsThe study provides a reference for designing and implementing VS-based IPE but the effects of this innovative pedagogy on students' rehabilitation knowledge, critical thinking, and interprofessional collaboration ability still need to be further confirmed. Most of the students gave positive feedback on the activity. Technical issues should be addressed to decrease their impacts on the VS practice experience.

Evaluation of Project Based Learning in the Context of Mathematical Ability Development

This research discusses the implementation and evaluation of project-based learning in the context of developing mathematical abilities at certain educational levels. This learning approach aims to improve understanding of mathematical concepts, problem solving skills, and collaborative abilities through a learning approach that involves real projects. The research used includes learning design, material selection, and ongoing evaluation. The results of this study showed significant improvement and proficiency in students' mathematics, accompanied by a positive response to the project-based learning experience. The conclusion highlights the positive contribution of project-based learning and its better integration in the mathematics education context.

The Value of Design Thinking for PhD Students: A Retrospective Longitudinal Study

Doctoral studies are changing worldwide, with growing concerns about doctoral graduates' employability and ability to develop relevant links with industrial challenges. The present study aims examine the impact of Design Thinking skills on PhD students on their future academic and professional performance. Drawing on 7 years of pedagogical experimentation, we conducted a mixed methods longitudinal study to investigate the perceptions of students who attended a two-day Design Thinking workshop. Two questionnaires, with a total of 40 items measuring the quality and course impact dimensions, were given to 415 and 41 students, respectively. Finally, 12 students were chosen for in-depth interviews to learn more about how they applied their newly acquired design thinking skills in their research and work. Our findings show that developing Design Thinking skills impacts the professional lives of students of all fields of knowledge, ages, and stages of their PhD. The primary outcomes mentioned are associated with increased creative confidence and collaboration abilities. This study focuses on relevant dimensions for designing and delivering Design Thinking skills within doctoral programmes, as well as the impact of design thinking on the quality of PhD education and student employability opportunities. Cross-Departmental Collaboration Approach for Earthquake Emergency Response Based on Synchronous Intersection between Traditional and Logical Petri Nets

In order to reduce the harm of earthquakes to human society, all governments actively promote the construction and development of earthquake emergency rescue work. The earthquake emergency response involves many departments, multiple personnel and large rescue forces, which presents a great challenge to the ability to carry out cross-departmental rescue work in a collaborative and joint manner. A novel collaboration approach based on traditional and logical Petri nets is proposed to improve the cross-departmental collaboration in earthquake emergency response. The approach extends the synchronization of transitions in traditional Petri nets to that of traditional and logical transitions in traditional and logical Petri nets, and defines the intersection of related logical functions. The approach builds a model for the earthquake emergency response plans of various departments with the help of traditional and logical Petri net models, and then performs synchronous intersection operations on the two kinds of Petri nets and merges the two kinds of Petri nets into new logical Petri nets. Meanwhile, through realizing the collaboration ability of cross-departmental work, the approach improves the rescue efficiency and reduces the damage of the earthquake emergency.

The Factors Affecting Innovative Behavior: An Employee Assessment System Based on Knowledge Creation

Organizations thrive on the innovative behavior of their personnel, but the specific factors that influence such behavior are not widely established, especially in the Thai context. An examination of the literature reveals that the knowledge management (KM) process, which has its basis in the process of knowledge creation known as the SECI process, serves to promote innovative behavior and is a key driver of competitive advantage within innovative organizations. This research study sought to determine which factors account for success in innovation, and to establish an assessment system to evaluate employee innovation. The study sample comprised 500 employees from companies operating in the technology sector. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) was carried out, and an eight-factor model was formulated on the basis of the available data. The eight factors in the model were determined to have a significant influence on the success of innovative behavior observed in Thai companies. The relevant factors comprised Sharing of knowledge (SK), Self-efficacy (SE), Problem solving skills (PS), Collaboration ability (CA), Culture of innovation (CI), Organizational support (OS), Culture of learning (CL), and Executive leadership (EL). Within the organizational context, the findings reveal the statistically significant contribution of Sharing of knowledge, Culture of innovation, Organizational support, and Self-efficacy in the promotion of innovative behavior. The study results may prove helpful for organizations wishing to assess the innovative capabilities of their staff, while the success factors may be implemented within organizations through the practical application of an assessment system. Pengaruh POE (Predict, Observe, Explain) terhadap Kemampuan Kolaborasi Siswa


 The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning model on the collaborative abilities of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 060858 Medan Tembung in the 2022/2023 academic year. The research methodology is quasi-experimental. The population of this study were all students of class IV-A and IV-B of SD Negeri 060858 which were the control class and the experimental class. The experimental class in this study was Class IV-A which was treated with the application of the Predict Observe Explain (POE) learning model, while the control class in this study was Class IV-B which was treated with the use of a traditional learning model (directed learning). .Based on the research findings, it can be concluded that the POE learning paradigm that encourages students to participate more actively has an effect on increasing students' capacity to collaborate.

The Interaction Mechanism and Dynamic Evolution of Digital Green Innovation in the Integrated Green Building Supply Chain

Although building enterprises are actively developing towards the direction of an integrated building supply chain (IBSC), they still face many difficulties in digital green innovation (DGI) activities. The purpose of this study is to reveal the interaction mechanism between the digital integration degree, green knowledge collaboration ability, and the DGI performance of IBSC enterprises in DGI activities under the influence of environmental characteristics of the integrated supply chain. In this study, firstly, a hierarchical regression method and a structural equation model are used to empirically study the static mechanism of DGI among enterprises in the IBSC. Secondly, this study adopts a complex system theory to construct a logistic dynamic analysis model to explore a dynamic evolution mechanism. The results of the study are as follows. (i) The digital integration degree and green knowledge synergy ability of the IBSC are conducive to improvements in digital green innovation performance among the enterprises involved in this chain. The digital integration degree of this chain is the dominant factor affecting the performance of digital green innovation among these enterprises. (ii) The digital network capability of this chain has a significant impact on its digital integration degree but has no significant effect on green knowledge synergy ability. The quality of digital relationships in the IBSC affects both the digital integration degree and green knowledge synergy ability. It has a higher impact on the digital integration degree than on the synergy ability of green knowledge. The resilience of the IBSC can effectively promote the improvement of digital integration and green knowledge synergy ability, but has no significant effect on digital green innovation performance. (iii) In the early stage of an IBSC, the effect of the digital integration degree on DGI performance is more obvious. Over the long term, under the effect of different digital relationship qualities of the IBSC, green knowledge collaboration ability plays a pivotal role. Improving this ability is conducive to the continuous improvement of DGI performance.

Cooperative Abilities and Cognitive Learning Outcomes: Study Group Investigation on Life Cycle Topic

The cooperative ability and cognitive learning outcomes of students in Ambon City still need to improve. The results of students learning science evidence this. The solution that can be done is to use learning models that can stimulate the development of students' cooperative and cognition abilities, one of which is group investigation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between cooperative abilities and cognitive learning outcomes in science learning with the GI cooperative model. The type of research used is correlational, with a sample of 50 people. The data collection instruments used in this study included questionnaires on students' collaboration abilities and cognitive learning outcomes test instruments—data analysis using simple linear regression. The results showed the sufficient category was the relationship between cooperative abilities and students' cognitive learning outcomes in science content learning the life cycle material with the Group Investigation type cooperative model. It was also revealed that the contribution of the cooperative ability variable to cognitive learning outcomes proves that GI contributes to students' cooperative abilities and cognitive learning outcomes.

Digital Capability and Business Model Innovation by Big Data Technology: The Mediating Role of Resource Reconfiguration

Under the background of digital economy era, manufacturing enterprises are faced with complex and changeable economic environment, competitive market environment and policy environment for transformation and upgrading. In order to adapt to environmental development, maintain competitive advantages and achieve new value creation goals, it is necessary to cultivate and build appropriate digital capabilities, including digital opportunity identification and digital resource coordination. This paper takes resource reconstruction as a subdivision perspective, takes manufacturing enterprises as the research object, and takes enterprise innovation practice as the explained variable, and discusses the path mechanism of capability-resource-innovation. Therefore, this paper proposes a research hypothesis around the relationship among enterprise digital capability, resource reconstruction and business model innovation, constructs a theoretical model among the three, and applies the hierarchical regression analysis method to conduct an empirical study on the data of 210 enterprises obtained through questionnaire survey, and tests these hypotheses. The results show that digital opportunity identification ability and digital resource collaboration ability have significant positive impact on business model innovation. Resource restructuring also has a positive effect on business model innovation; Enterprise digital opportunity identification ability and digital resource collaboration ability positively influence resource restructuring. In addition, resource restructuring plays an intermediary role between digital capability and business model innovation.

Connecting knowledge: First-year health care students’ learning in early interprofessional tutorials

ABSTRACT Collaboration across professional boundaries is an essential aspect of health care, and interprofessional education (IPE) is a common way to help increase students’ collaborative abilities. Research on how and when IPE should be arranged in a curriculum remains, however, inconclusive. How students actually develop interprofessional competencies have been difficult to demonstrate and is still an under-researched area. Studying IPE in context is therefore important to understand its full complexity. This paper examines how students work with scenarios from professional health care contexts when learning together in interprofessional problem-based learning tutorials during the first year of undergraduate education. The data are video-recorded tutorials of students from medicine, nursing, occupational therapy, speech and language pathology, and physiotherapy programmes. The analysis focuses on students’ discussing their readings of the literature. Drawing on “Communities of Practice,” findings show that students discuss and connect professional knowledge, with “brokers” (the tutors) and “boundary objects” (scenarios) supporting the emergence of students’ professional knowledge. The scenarios, as boundary objects, also enabled the students to turn into brokers themselves. The paper contributes to research on interprofessional learning and offers support for implementing IPE in the early stages of undergraduate education.

CREATIVE THINKING AND COLLABORATIVE ABILITY OF ELEMENTARY STUDENTS WITH THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE STEM INTEGRATED PROJECT-BASED LEARNING MODEL

This paper is motivated by the author's efforts to improve the quality of Human Resources (HR) in accordance with the demands/developments of the times. This research was conducted to (1) find out how the differences in creative and collaborative thinking skills through STEM-integrated project-based learning and the use of conventional learning models, (2) describe creative and collaborative thinking skills using STEM-integrated project-based learning models. This study uses a quantitative approach method. It was held at Gugus 4 Cibadak, Public Elementary School Pamuruyan (as the control class) and Public Elementary School Cilengo (as the experimental class). Creative thinking data collection is using posttest and pretest, while for collaborative ability data collection is by observation sheets. The results showed that (1) the creative thinking ability (mean pretest 32,14 for experiment class and 40,17 for control class, mean posttest 79, 29 for experiment class and 40,83 for control class) and collaborative ability of the class with STEM-integrated project-based learning were superior/got more significant results than the class that used conventional learning models, (2) students' creative abilities emerged into several indicators such as fluency, flexibility, original thinking, and elaborative thinking, (3) collaborative abilities appear in the field based on indicators of confidence, positive attitude, respect, giving encouragement, and building group spirit.

Novel Industry Engagement approaches for academic projects leading to internships, placements, and entrepreneurships

A popular pedagogical approach in engineering education that has been proven to be successful in building problem-solving, design, and collaborative abilities is project-based learning. Giving students freedom to choose the type and scope of the projects they want to work on has apparent advantages but doing so without professional advice or a defined plan of action can lead to confusion, frustration, and unmet expectations. Additionally, engineering schools must give their students the chance to interact with industry during their studies, which can be challenging owing to logistical and time constraints. This paper describes a case study in which undergraduate computer science and computer engineering students met with business professionals to get feedback during the last stage of project implementation. Students presented their concepts to faculty members and industry guests on campus in the form of a project poster. The success of the strategy in raising students' self-efficacy and performance is attested to by internships, employability, and evaluation results, as well as by the satisfaction of the participants. The proposed research continues with suggestions for engineering educators who want to put similar initiatives into practice as well as a brief description of the authors' future goals.
