Pengukuran minat berdasarkan teori Holland dan keterkaitannya dengan indeks prestasi Mahasiswa Prodi Bimbingan dan Konseling FKIP UNTAN angkatan 2021/ 2022

This study aims to see the relationship between interests based on Holland's theory and the GPA of FKIP Untan Counseling Guidance Study Program students for the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used is a quantitative descriptive method and the data collection tool used is a questionnaire adapted from Holland's interest inventory. The population in this study is 44 students of the BK FKIP UNTAN Study Program class of 2021/2022. Data analysis used descriptive statistics with Eta correlation, which resulted in a percentage of student interest score scores. Based on the results of data processing, it was obtained that most students have a dominant type of interest in the social type 65.9% (29 students) in the fairly high category, this shows that students of the Guidance and counseling study program have interests in accordance with the characteristics of work as Bimgingan and Counseling / Counselor teachers at school. The cumulative achievement index for 4 semesters obtained by guidance and counseling students of the class of 2021/2022 is included in the good category with an average of 3.56. The correlation between interest and student IP shows a very strong correlation category with a number of 0.823.

Determining the Factors That Affect and Enhance Sleep Quality of Students in Nursing Departments: A Qualitative Study

Background and Objective This study aimed to determine the factors that affect and facilitate sleep quality of nursing department students.Methods The study group consisted of 63 students from nursing program class 3 and 4 at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Cyprus Science University. Qualitative data were collected between February 20, 2023 and April 20, 2023, by using the in-depth interview method, a qualitative method. A sociodemographic data form and an interview form were used for the interview. The descriptive/thematic method was used to analyze qualitative data, and coding and analysis were performed using the MAXQDA qualitative data analysis program.Results Based on our results, factors that affect and facilitate sleep quality of the nursing department students were grouped under three main themes: physiological, psychological, and environmental factors. Our results also showed that sleep problems negatively affect students.Conclusions Therefore, it is essential to develop and implement measures to improve sleep quality in nursing department students.

Development Of Google Form-Based Learning Outcome Evaluation Instruments For Animal Development Courses In The Biology Education Study Program FMIPA UNIMED

This study aimed to develop a valid and reliable google form-based learning outcome evaluation instrument for the Animal Development course. The instrument was developed following the 4D development model (define, design, develop, dessiminate). The research subjects were Biology Education Study Program (PSPB) class of 2021 class B students totaling 26 people. Data were obtained from validation questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The initial design of the learning outcome evaluation instrument consisted of 50 questions. Based on the validator's assessment, an instrument consisting of 25 valid and reliable questions was obtained. The results of validation by evaluation instrument experts obtained an average percentage of 98.6% with a very feasible category. Based on the validity analysis of the Aiken index, the value V = 0.942 was obtained with high validity criteria. Instrument reliability using Cronbach's Alpha obtained a value of 0.796 with high criteria (reliable), while the analysis of ICC reliability data obtained the results of inter-rater agreement of 0.796, and for each rater the consistency is 0.565. It can be concluded that the agreement between raters is very strong and each rater has a fairly good consistency. Theory of Planned Behavior in Anti-Corruption Behavior of STKIP PGRI Situbondo Students

The main objectives of this research is to build and increase awareness so that there will be changes in behavior among students regarding anti-corruption behavior. This research is a qualitative and quantitative descriptive research with the subject of this research being the first semester economics class of the economics education study program with a sample size of 35 students in this research, namely 35 respondents. The measurement results obtained are control belief variables, normative beliefs, behavioral beliefs and behavioral variables. Of the four indicators above, the average agree and strongly agree was 57.76%. So that the impact of instilling values in this anti-corruption course is effective in the STKIP PGRI Situbondo campus environment and can be used as a solution to maintain behavior in society to avoid corruption. Preventing acts of corruption among students can also be prevented with positive affirmations during lectures. This is the first step so that students can control themselves through positive input or affirmation by lecturers who teach anti-corruption education courses. One of the things that is very important in an action is control beliefs which is an indicator in this research.

Evaluation of usability, navigability, and accessibility regarding the interface design for the digital repository for educational podcasts - a user view

To evaluate the interface of the Digital Repository for Educational Podcasts. The objective is to verify the main usability, navigability, and accessibility requirements used during the implementation, as well as contemplate the interaction level on the part of the users when using the system and verify its influence in accessing information. This article is supported by an exploratory qualitative approach with the purpose of detecting the level of usability, navigability, and accessibility measured during the use of the system. Data collection was carried out with the aid of a survey-type form available at address < https://forms.gle/xuDEq6RR46R4npVP8 > and based on some parameters contained in the Reeves Method used for educational software assessment, with the aim of identifying the acceptance of the interface by its audience. The research was applied to a class of the Special Undergraduate Program for Training Professors for Professional Education (PEG). The results obtained helped identify the requirements not adopted, as well as suggestions of possible future corrections; upon completing the analysis, it was possible to identify the difficulty on the part of the respondents in finding problems and, consequently, suggesting corrections related to the criteria analyzed. Through the evaluation of the Repository interface, it was possible to contemplate that it meets the main usability, navigability, and accessibility requirements, presenting a low error rate and few problems.

Web-Based Business Simulation Practice Course Learning Application

This research is planned to continue and realize the results and objectives of previous research in 2022 with applied research on innovative products, namely Practical Learning Applications for Virtual Business Simulation Courses in the Business Administration Study Program. The long-term goal of this research is to develop project-based and digital technology-based Business Simulation learning courses used by students and lecturers. The method used to achieve this is the R and D method. The target for this research output is Copyright and publication of the accredited national journal Sinta 2. This research produces a virtual business simulation learning application based on a research model that was created in 2022. Research This is a type of action research and development using the Research and Development (R&D) method. This research also tested innovative products practiced by 70 5th-semester students, 10 people were taken from each 5th-semester class of the Business Administration Study Program (7 classes) as test respondents in using this Business Simulation application. The Business Simulation Application was created under the business simulation learning process contained in the RPS for the Business Simulation Course. This simulation application is web-based and is equipped with a video tutorial to make it easier to use. Application testing results show that this business simulation application makes business work easier and faster for the positions of manager, head of administrative supplies, and head of finance.

Learning Strategies for Saxophone Instruments for Music Study Program Students ISI Yogyakarta Batch 2022

The ISI Yogyakarta music study program currently refers more to the study of art. This resulted in a reduction in the study period for major instruments for students to 3 semesters. The music study program which focuses more on music studies targets students to become researchers and writers, so that the ability to play music is not too much considered when selecting new student admissions. Many students have shifted their instrument focus to other instruments they are not good at. The author focuses on saxophone instrument students class of 2022, most of whom experience this. This study aims to observe and describe the strategies and learning processes for the saxophone instrument course for students of the ISI Yogyakarta music study program class of 2022. The method used is qualitative-descriptive, with data collection through direct observation and interviews with students and supporting lecturers. Several lists of questions have been prepared and will serve as a tool for data collection. The author also made direct observations of the learning process carried out by lecturers and students in the saxophone instrument course. The research findings regarding the learning strategies applied are the design of a new syllabus consisting of several points to be presented to students as well as the establishment of good relationships and interactions between students and lecturers to create a comfortable learning atmosphere. The syllabus refers to the old syllabus which was previously carried out for 6 semesters, but now it is condensed into 3 semesters.

Leveraging decision diagrams to solve two-stage stochastic programs with binary recourse and logical linking constraints

We generalize an existing binary decision diagram-based (BDD-based) approach of Lozano and Smith (MP, 2022) to solve a special class of two-stage stochastic programs (2SPs) with binary recourse, where the first-stage decisions impact the second-stage constraints. First, we extend the second-stage problem to a more general setting where logical expressions of the first-stage solutions enforce constraints in the second stage. Then, as our primary contribution, we introduce a complementary problem, that appears more naturally for many of the same applications of the former approach, and a distinct BDD-based solution method, that is more efficient than the existing BDD-based approach on commonly applicable problem classes. In the novel problem, second-stage costs, rather than constraints, are impacted by expressions of the first-stage decisions. In both settings, we convexify the second-stage problems using BDDs and parameterize either the BDD arc costs or capacities with first-stage solutions. We extend this work by incorporating conditional value-at-risk and propose the first decomposition method for 2SP with binary recourse and a risk measure. We apply these methods to a novel stochastic problem, namely stochastic minimum dominating set problem, and present numerical results to support their effectiveness.

Analysis of Differences in Learning Achievement Reviewed From Learning Style (Study on Biology Students Batch 2021)

Abstract. Tracking learning style profiles is an important thing to do in an educational institution, including universities, to support the success and learning achievements of students. At the university level, learning achievement is indicated by the achievement index (GPA) at the end of each semester. This research aims to determine the profile of learning styles and learning achievements of students in the biology education study program and to see whether there are differences in student learning achievements in terms of their learning styles. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. . The population in this study were students from the 2021 Biology Education Study Program with a total of 108 students. The research sample was 86 students from the Biology Education Study Program Class of 2021 out of 108 students who were determined using the Simple Random Sampling technique. The instrument used in this research is a non-test instrument in the form of a learning style questionnaire. The research results obtained include: the learning style tendencies of biology students in the Class of 2021 are varied, 45% of students tend to have a Kinesthetic learning style, 40% Visual and 15% Auditory. The average learning achievement of the 2021 batch of biology students is in the good category. Hypothesis testing shows that there is no significant difference in learning achievement when viewed from the learning styles of biology students.Key words: Learning Style, Learning achievement, Differences of learning Style, Biology Student

The effect of promotion and tuition costs on the determination of higher options

The decision-making process for higher education options is influenced by various factors, including promotions and tuition costs. This study aims to examine and determine whether promotion and tuition fees partially and simultaneously have a significant effect on the choice of college for new students of the 2020/2021 class of the Informatics Management study program, at the State Polytechnic of Banjarmasin. This type of research is explanatory with a quantitative approach. The variables in this study consist of promotion variables, tuition fees variables, and choice selection variables. Sampling using a non-probability sampling technique in which carried out using a convenience sampling technique of 60 respondents with analysis multiple linear. Based on the results of the data analysis carried out, it shows that there is a significant effect of the promotion and tuition fees have an effect on the choice of college for new students.

Brain and Body Group Fitness program for those with dementia and their caregivers through community partnership

AbstractBackground and ObjectivesThe growing prevalence of Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementias (ADRD) calls for nonpharmacological interventions to reduce the negative impact on quality of life to those affected with the impairment and their caregivers. Brain and Body Fitness (BBF) is a group program combining physical, cognitive, and socialization strategies to engage people living with dementia to maximize benefits for sustained function while slowing cognitive decline.Research Design and MethodsThe purpose of this study was to determine if BBF participants (N = 49 affected partners; N = 38 caregivers) were impacted in four quality of life indicators: anxiety, sleep, fatigue, and depression. Ex post facto data was utilized and demographic information was not collected.ResultsData reveals significant reductions in depression symptoms and significant improvements in sleep quality for affected participants though no statistically significant improvements for caregivers. Pengaruh E-Service Quality Terhadap Kepuasan Pelanggan Di Shofee (Studi Pada Mahasiswa FEB UISU Prodi Manajemen Angkatan 2020)

This study aims to determine the Effect of E-Service Quality on Customer Satisfaction at Shopee (study on FEB UISU students, Management Study Program class of 2020). The population of this study were 160 FEB UISU management study program students using the Slovin sampling formula, obtained a sample size of 62 samples and allocated to each stratum using the proportional random sampling formula. The data was analyzed using the SPSS 20 program. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that E-Service Quality (Efficiency, Reliability, Fulfillment, Privacy, Responsiveness, Compensation, Contact Communication) simultaneously has a significant effect on Customer Satisfaction

Using Tello quadcopters when studying the course "Introduction to programming in Python"

The article discusses the capabilities of Tello educational quadcopters and their use in Python programming classes. The topics of modules that are recommended to be studied using quadcopters are given. When describing the modules, the basic concepts of the Python programming language, the features of its use in conjunction with quadcopter DJI Tello, safety precautions when working with a quadcopter, and its structure are considered. The concepts of an algorithm, its properties, and the main types of algorithms are described. The emphasis is on the consideration of a linear algorithm; examples of the implementation of linear algorithms for autonomous flight are given, as well as examples of programs for obtaining information from on-board sensors. Possible examples of tasks that can be offered to students when studying each module are considered. The article is intended for informatics teachers, students of pedagogical universities, and additional education teachers.

Analysis of Student Ability in Answering Open Ended Final Exam Capita Selecta for Secondary Education Academic Year 2020/2021

Capita Selecta Learning for Secondary Education for the 2020/2021 Academic Year takes place online by implementing the Project Based Learning Model (PjBl). This research aimed to determine students' abilities in designing learning scenarios using learning media on open exam questions. The research method used ex post facto. The subjects of this research were students of the Undergraduate Study Program Class A and Class B Semester V Mathematics Study Program FKIP UNIB for the 2020/2021 academic year who took the Capita Selecta Mathematics course. at secondary education level totaling 52 people. Research instruments are test sheet, answer sheet, and assessment sheet. The results of the research show that the average score for those who answered according to the task props = 58.85%, the average score for those who answered not according to the assignment props = 17.31% and the average score for those who did not answer = 23.85%. It can be concluded that more than 50% of them can design teacher and student conversations according to the task props in open-ended assignments. Based on the results of data processing, more than half of the students can think critically, creatively and communicatively.

A distributed optimization approach via symmetric group actions under time-varying communication networks

The widespread adoption of edge computing has revolutionized data processing by decentralizing computational power, resulting in faster response times, decreased network latency, and enhanced privacy. This paradigm shift is crucial due to the increasing demand for real-time analytics and the growth of Internet of Things devices. Optimizing resource allocation and decision-making in on-board computing presents challenges, especially in dynamic and heterogeneous environments. Distributed optimization techniques address these challenges by allowing multiple agents to collaborate and make decisions based on local knowledge. This paper focuses on distributed optimization in multi-agent systems with time-varying communication networks and explores the advantages of considering symmetric group action to reach global optimization. In particular, we focus our study into a class of Integer Linear Programming (ILP) for modeling real-world optimization problems in decentralized environments. The paper introduces a novel approach that leverages group actions and probabilistic selection of initial states to enhance convergence to desirable solutions. The method guarantees feasibility while minimizing computational effort for the agents. Additionally, numerical simulations have been conducted to validate the proposed algorithm, demonstrating its efficacy in optimizing resource allocation for a class of scheduling problems.

MOTIVASI MAHASISWA MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN KE IKIP MUHAMMADIYAH MAUMERE PROGRAM STUDI PENDIDIKAN EKONOMI ANGKATAN 2022

Student Motivation to Continue Education at IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere Economic Education Study Program Class of 2022. Paper. Maumere: Faculty of Education of Social Sciences and Humanities Maumere Muhammadiyah Institute, 2023. This study aims to determine the motivation among students of the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere Economic Education Study Program Class of 2022 in continuing their education. The subjects of this research were 10 students from batch 2022 of the Economics Education Study Program, IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. The instruments used in this study were observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study show that there are two motivations for students who continue their education at the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere campus for the economic education study program class of 2022, in general there are two, namely motivation that is in accordance with ideals (goal direction), and motivation that is not in accordance with ideals. Differences in the motivation of students who continue their education at the IKIP Muhammadiyah Maumere program for economic education studies class of 2022 such as no initial motivation, different orientation, or other needs apart from the initial motivation gave birth to four different levels of needs, namely self-actualization, appreciation, social needs, and feeling safe.

Implementation of Structured Dyadic Methods to Improve Learning Results in Web and Mobile Device Programming Class XI Students in Software Engineering Expertise Program

This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) to 36 students of class XI RPL SMK Negeri 4 Bandung. This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the subjects of Web Programming and Mobile Devices for class XI RPL students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung for the 2020/2021 academic year through the application of the Structured Dyadic Method. The data collection technique is done by using learning result test, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative data analysis with a percentage in the form of calculating the learning outcomes test and the observation results. The results of this classroom action research are 1) cognitive learning outcomes increase, in cycle I the average cognitive score of students is 51.25 or 22 students have reached KKM. In the second cycle the average cognitive score of students increased to 83.75 or 36 students had reached the KKM. 2) The learning outcomes of students' affective domains increased, in the first cycle as many as 22 students had reached the very good or good category and increased to 33 students in the second cycle. 3) The students' psychomotor learning outcomes increased, in the first cycle as many as 28 students had reached the very good or good category and increased in the second cycle to 33 students. Therefore, it can be concluded that the application of the Structured Dyadic Method learning method can improve learning outcomes in the cognitive, affective and psychomotor domains of class XI RPL SMK Negeri 4 Bandung Academic Year 2020/2021.

Random block-coordinate methods for inconsistent convex optimisation problems

We develop a novel randomised block-coordinate primal-dual algorithm for a class of non-smooth ill-posed convex programs. Lying midway between the celebrated Chambolle–Pock primal-dual algorithm and Tseng’s accelerated proximal gradient method, we establish global convergence of the last iterate as well as optimal O(1/k) and O(1/k^{2}) complexity rates in the convex and strongly convex case, respectively, k being the iteration count. Motivated by the increased complexity in the control of distribution-level electric-power systems, we test the performance of our method on a second-order cone relaxation of an AC-OPF problem. Distributed control is achieved via the distributed locational marginal prices (DLMPs), which are obtained as dual variables in our optimisation framework.

The Challenges of Inclusive Teaching in Albania and Its Issues in the Pre-School Curriculum

This study aims to explore the challenges faced by teachers in pre-school inclusive classrooms in Albania. Through a qualitative methodology, the research investigates the specific difficulties encountered by educators and offers suggestions for adapting teaching practices to effectively meet the needs and abilities of all students, regardless of their conditions and circumstances. The study includes 23 teachers interviewed in 5 schools/kindergartens where they teach in the preschool program classes in the city of Durrës. While the focus group included 26 third-year bachelor students enrolled in Preschool education for the 2022-2023 academic year at the University of Durrës Aleksandër Moisiu. The findings of the study highlight several key factors that can alleviate the challenges faced by teachers in inclusive classrooms. Firstly, it emphasizes the importance of providing assistant teachers, particularly specialized educators in the field of special education, to accompany students with disabilities. These professionals can offer dedicated support, expertise, and guidance, enabling a more inclusive learning environment. Additionally, the research emphasizes the significance of reducing the student-to-teacher ratio in these classrooms. By lowering the number of students, teachers can provide more individualized attention and support to each child, catering to their unique requirements. Furthermore, the study emphasizes the need for enhancing teachers' knowledge and skills in adapting teaching methods to accommodate the diverse needs and abilities of students with disabilities. Professional development programs, workshops, and training sessions can empower educators with effective strategies, specialized techniques, and resources necessary for inclusive classroom practices. In conclusion, by addressing these key factors, pre-school inclusive classrooms can meet the requirements of inclusive education. It is anticipated that these efforts will contribute to the alleviation of challenges and promote an inclusive educational environment where all students can thrive.

Factors Affecting Patterns of Fast Food Consumption in Students of Medical Study Program Faculty of Medicine Tanjungpura University

Medical students who are in their late teens and are affected by high stress due to academic loads experience changes in nutritional intake behavior, namely changes in eating patterns with a tendency to consume fast food (fast food). The purpose of this study was to determine the factors that influence fast food consumption patterns in students of the Medical Study Program, Faculty of Medicine, Tanjungpura University. This study uses a type of observational analytic research with a cross-sectional design. This study used data on weight and height measurements, a 3x24-hour Food Record, and a questionnaire on 46 students of the Medical Study Program class of 2022. The results showed low consumption of calories, protein and carbohydrates, and high consumption of fat. The overall average intake of energy, fat and carbohydrates is normal, while protein intake is low. There is no effect of all variables on consumption of energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and nutritional status. However, action on fast food has a significant effect on energy consumption. Students often consume fast food which is processed by frying process. Low protein intake and high fat consumption indicate the need for education for food selection in reducing the negative impact on the health of medical students.
