Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Children Learning In Science (Clis) Dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan Pada Materi Faktor Pendorong Dan Penghambat Persatuan Dan Kesatuan Bangsa Bagi Siswa Kelas Xi Ips Di Ma Darul Ihsan Samarinda

The purpose of this research is to find out how the Application of Children Learning In Science (CLIS) Learning Model in Civic Education Learning on the Material of Encouraging and Inhibiting Factors of National Unity and Unity for Students of Class XI IPS at MA Darul Ihsan Samarinda. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were the Principal, Civics Teacher, homeroom teacher, and students of MA Darul Ihsan Samarinda. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model. Data validity using data triangulation. The results showed that the application of the learning model (CLIS) in learning civic education was well received by teachers and students, with a percentage of 61.22% agreeing from 20 respondents as reinforcement, besides that it made students able to argue and made learning less boring. In learning civic education, there are supporting factors including the availability of facilities and infrastructure and also adequate teaching staff, besides that, there are inhibiting factors including the unavailability of facilities and infrastructure such as LCDs that are not yet available in several classes so that it takes time to prepare for learning. This can make learning hours wasted. Efforts that must be made by the school to overcome problems in the learning process are to improve skills and complete school facilities.

Praktik Civic Education Penyelenggaraan Project Citizen Dalam Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan

This article discusses the practice of Civic Education through the implementation of Project Citizen in civic education in Indonesia. Taken from 15 scientific journals from 2019-2024, this study aims to explore students' understanding of active citizenship With a qualitative approach and literature review method, the application of interactive learning methods, challenges in implementation, and the positive impact produced by Project Citizen. The results of the study show that Project Citizen significantly improves students' understanding of the rights and obligations as citizens and their involvement in social issues in the community. Students involved in this project not only learn the theory, but are also able to apply it in practice, thus becoming active agents of change. However, the study also identified a number of challenges, such as lack of support from schools and limited teacher competence, that could hinder the effectiveness of project implementation. Positive impacts seen include increased student civic engagement and a sense of responsibility for the surrounding environment. Therefore, this article recommends increased support from schools, training for teachers, and collaboration between schools, parents, and communities as strategic steps to optimize the implementation of Project Citizen and improve the quality of civic education in Indonesia.

Integration of Traditional Cultural Elements Into Civics Teaching Practice in Colleges and Universities Based on Internet Distance Education

This study uses questionnaire surveys to examine the real impact of incorporating traditional cultural elements into the practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities. The integration of traditional cultural elements into these practices is the research object of this paper. It realizes the sharing of teaching resources for the integration of traditional culture into the practice of ideological and political education in colleges and universities and examines the impact of network distance education on students' learning interests using SQLServer development tools and network distance education technology. The study's conclusions demonstrate that students can enjoy the allure of traditional culture virtually by setting up a network distance education platform and implementing resource sharing. The study's findings offer theoretical evidence in favor of using network distant education to incorporate traditional cultural components into the practice of teaching politics and ideologies in higher education institutions.

ANALYSIS OF LOCAL WISDOM-BASED COLLABORATION SKILL INSTRUMENT (LWCSI) IN CIVICS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION

The ability to collaborate is highly important in the world of work and social life. This skill is related to the individual's ability to cooperate with others in achieving a goal. Several previous studies related to the development of collaboration ability instruments using visible dimensions as their pivot, such as aspects of performance outcomes and levels of interaction. However, some previous studies suggest that a person's ability to collaborate comes from within as well. Therefore, an instrument is needed to measure students' collaborative abilities in depth and adapt to the diverse Indonesian context, which is diverse in so many aspects. The researchers developed an instrument called the Local Wisdom-Based Collaboration Skills Instrument (LWCSI), which is an instrument that measures students' collaboration abilities but is adapted to the context of Indonesia which is Godly and diverse in culture. The population in this study consisted of 166 students who took civics education classes in the short semester of 2022/2023. To determine the validity, the df value used is (166-2) = 164 with an α value of 0.05. The R-table value obtained is 0.1281. From the table the R-count is greater than the R-table, so it can be concluded that all items are valid. The number shows 0.06 so it can be concluded that the LWCSI instrument is reliable and can be utilized to measure student collaboration skills based on local wisdom. Therefore, it can be concluded that this instrument is able to measure the collaboration skills of students with a variety of beliefs and cultures, especially in Indonesia that have a large and diverse population.

Civic education in Croatia: An overview of ongoing processes

The paper presents an overview of crucial moments in the educational and social history of modern Croatia with emphasis on the introduction of civic education in the formal education system. Using the methodology of desk research important documents and secondary literature dealing with the topic have been summarized. Even though the need for civic education is formally proclaimed on the national level, introduction of the civic education in the Croatian education system is seen as a set of long-lasting processes, with a lot of opposition within the state, changes in the form of proposed curricula, and changes in government support for it.

Peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Mencegah Radikalisme di Kalangan Remaja Gen Z

This research examines the role of citizenship education in preventing radicalism among Generation Z teenagers in Indonesia. Using literature study methods, this research analyzes various literature sources to understand the challenges faced by Generation Z, the radicalization process, and the effectiveness of citizenship education as a prevention instrument. The research results show that Generation Z, as digital natives, is vulnerable to exposure to radical ideology through social media and the internet. Civic education plays an important role in instilling the values ​​of tolerance, diversity and critical thinking, which can act as an ideological bulwark against radicalism. This research concludes that strengthening citizenship education is a key strategy in building youth resilience against radicalism and promoting an inclusive and harmonious society.

Penerapan Bela Negara di Era Revolusi Teknologi Pada Pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan

This article discusses the application of national defense in civic education learning in the midst of the technological revolution. This study uses a qualitative approach with the literature review method to collect and analyze various relevant literature sources. The results of the analysis show that information and communication technology (ICT) has made a significant contribution in improving the interactivity and accessibility of civic learning. However, the challenges faced include the potential erosion of national values by the influence of globalization and individualism reinforced by technology. Solutions to address these challenges include the development of relevant curricula, training for educators in the use of technology, and the implementation of practical and contextual learning activities. This research contributes to the development of more effective and relevant learning methods to the times, and emphasizes the importance of utilizing technology to strengthen the spirit of national defense and civic awareness among the younger generation.

“Is it a civics lesson?”: centering the local to encourage political engagement

PurposeCivic education in the US has historically centered the nation-state. This is often disempowering for marginalized students who exist outside the national narrative and political sphere.Design/methodology/approachThis year-long ethnographic study considers what counts as civic education in the US Virgin Islands, a territory of the US. This paper draws on critical theory and critical pedagogy to understand ways teachers in a politically and culturally marginalized space can reimagine civic education. Classroom observations, interviews and curriculum content analysis are used as data.FindingsThe findings suggest that teachers centered the local by surfacing the unjust political relationship between the US and its territories and incorporating local history, civic engagement, resistance and culture to politically empower their students.Originality/valueThis research will contribute a deeper understanding of the possibilities for civic education to be empowering for those who are marginalized and often excluded from the national political arena.

Peran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dalam Membangun Toleransi di Lingkungan Mahasiswa

This research aims to analyze how the level of tolerance between students and find out the extent of the implementation of PKN (civic education) in building an attitude of tolerance in the student environment. By using the literature approach method which is certainly relevant to the research topic. Involving 17 journal articles published between 2020 and 2023, this research aims to identify the main things about tolerance that exist in the student environment. And from this research can be the basis for building the nature of tolerance in the student environment through the role of civic education. With the nature of tolerance, students are more able to respect different opinions and can interact with people from various cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds.

One concept of education known as civic education aims to educate young people to become citizens with character. The purpose of this education is to teach young people to think critically about national and international issues so that they can make changes to improve the condition of Indonesia, and show that civic education can build young people who have a sense of nationalism, love for the country, and tolerance. This research uses qualitative methodology to analyze literature and descriptive data to show how important civic education is to build responsible and honest characters. The research shows that civic education includes an understanding of the political and legal system as well as instilling positive attitudes, values and morals in everyone. It is expected that the next generation has a strong personality and can contribute positively to society. STUDY ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MOTOR ABILITY AND THE FORMATION OF SOME POSITIVE BEHAVIORS AND ATTITUDES OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS

Many times children, especially at the age of puberty and adolescence, show their feelings of fear, upset, anger through specific behavior and challenging attitudes that the family and the school must manage and change from bad to good. The lessons of physical education and sports will address topics about behavior, information will be presented about relationships between peers, about the state of health and sexual behavior of girls and boys, about examples of conflicts that can end tragically or, on the contrary, can end positively. Students will have to receive knowledge about the prevention of violent behavior, about the consequences of violating the law, lack of interest, giving them examples of victims and aggressors. Assumption. In this study we try to find out if once a violent behavior has been improved we can correct it for the better by decreasing the potential for impermissible actions. The formation of these skills is developed at school in the lessons of physical education, civic education, management, by participating in extracurricular actions, by training physical, mental and social skills.

The Role of Local Learning Media in Civics Subjects for Class V Elementary School Students

This research aims to examine the role of local learning media in Civics Education (PKn) subjects for fifth grade students in elementary schools. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 30 fifth grade students and one Civics teacher. The research results show that the use of local learning media, such as folklore and traditional games, increases learning motivation, understanding of the material, and student participation in the Civics learning process. As many as 85% of students felt more motivated, and 78% of students understood the material more easily when local learning media was used. In addition, students become more active in class discussions and activities. However, there are several obstacles, such as difficulties in developing teaching materials that are in accordance with local wisdom and limited time and resources. To overcome this obstacle, it is recommended that there be training for teachers and the development of adequate resources. Overall, this research confirms the importance of local learning media in improving the quality of Civics learning and provides practical recommendations for its integration in the curriculum.

Mempromosikan Demokrasi yang Berkelanjutan di Sekolah-Sekolah Kamboja Melalui Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan dan Moral

This study proposes the comprehensive implementation of civic and moral education programs and the impact of promoting sustainable democracy. This study uses qualitative research with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study focused on educators, high school students, and young people who were strategically selected through purposive sampling. Primary data sources were obtained through interviews, while secondary data sources were literature studies related to curriculum and school policies. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews with a semi-structured format through open questions. The data obtained was translated and analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that comprehensive civic and moral education programs contribute to promoting democratic values and attitudes among youth. Instilling democratic values to increase youth participation and awareness in Cambodia requires steps including teacher training, curriculum changes, interactive learning, open political workings, and involving the community. Teaching better civic and moral education can help in maintaining democracy and the involvement of young people.

PROFILE OF STUDENTS RECEIVING KIP-COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS IN THE PANCASILA AND CIVIC EDUCATION STUDY PROGRAM IN 2020 AT BHINNEKA PGRI UNIVERSITY

The KIP-College scholarship program at Bhinneka PGRI University suffers from several phenomena, including high pressure to achieve academic performance and involvement in student organization activities. The scholarship is only awarded to students who have achieved a certain standard of academic achievement, so recipients must maintain their academic performance. This research was conducted at Bhinneka PGRI University, Tulungagung, East Java, using a descriptive qualitative approach. From the results of the study, students who received the KIP-College Scholarship in the 2020 Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) Study Program showed satisfactory academic performance, with a stable GPA value above 3.60, their academic performance significantly exceeded the campus minimum standards, and achieved significant non-academic achievements. Their activeness in various organizational activities at Bhinneka PGRI University shows their commitment to participate in the study program and university levels and take advantage of the opportunities provided by scholarships. The use of strategies such as being active in class, consistent in doing assignments, and discipline in attendance at every meeting helps students maintain and improve their GPA. In conclusion, students who received the KIP-Colege 2020 Scholarship at Bhinneka PGRI University have managed to achieve satisfactory academic and non-academic achievements, they have also carried out strategies in maintaining and stabilizing GPA values such as being active in class, consistency in doing assignments, and discipline towards attendance in every meeting. They not only perform well in their studies but also actively contribute to campus life and society as a whole.

Tantangan dan Strategi Implementasi Mata Pelajaran PPKn di Era Digital

This study evaluates the challenges and strategies for implementing the subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn) in the digital era using a literature review method. The research findings identify several main obstacles, such as limited internet access, lack of digital devices, low digital skills among teachers and students, insufficient technical support, and a scarcity of quality digital resources. To address these challenges, several strategies are proposed, including the development of technological infrastructure, digital skills training for teachers and students, and the provision of engaging and interactive digital learning resources. With the implementation of these strategies, it is expected that PPKn education will become more effective and enhance student motivation and engagement. These findings have significant implications for the development of educational policies and teaching practices of PPKn in Indonesia in facing the challenges of the digital era.
