Implementation of Public Service Policy in Agile Government Study at Public Service Mall of Parepare City

The aim of this research is Implementation of Public Service Policy in Agile Government Study at Public Service Mall of Parepare City). The method used in this research is a qualitative research method approach. The focus of research on the Implementation of Public Service Policy in the Agile Government perspective at the Public Service Mall in Parepare City will be focused on two main aspects, namely the implementation process and its impact on service effectiveness. The results of this research show that the Implementation of Public Service Policy from an Agile Government perspective in the Parepare City Public Service Mall towards regulatory changes, community needs, and ever-changing market demands. The Public Service Mall in Parepare City has shown improvements in various aspects of public services, although there are some areas that still need further improvement.

Pelatihan Pembuatan Kerajinan Tangan Meronce sebagai Sarana Kreativitas Anak di Panti Asuhan Abadi Aisyiyah Parepare

The beading handicraft training at Abadi Aisyiyah Orphanage in Parepare City was initiated due to the children's monotonous daily routines and limited facilities for developing their creative skills. This activity aimed to provide the children with new experiences, enhance their fine motor skills, creativity, and self-confidence. A total of 30 children from the Abadi Aisyiyah Orphanage in Parepare City participated in this activity. The training was conducted over three days, with the first day focused on demonstrating the making of bracelets and rings, followed by a creative session where the children could make crafts according to their imagination. The second day continued with demonstrations of making phone straps and keychains, followed by similar creative activities. Data collected showed a significant increase in the children's fine motor skills and self-confidence after the training. On the third day, the products were marketed, and the event was concluded. Following the training, there was a 25% increase in creativity, a 40% improvement in fine motor skills, and a 5% boost in self-confidence. Additionally, the sales of the handicraft products made by the children not only enhanced their marketing skills but also yielded a 100% profit. The profits were used to purchase beading tools and materials, ensuring the sustainability of this creative activity in the future. This activity underscores the importance of providing creative facilities for children's development in orphanages and demonstrates the positive impact of engaging in creative activities on skill development and self-confidence.

Collaborative Governance in Creative Economy Development: Role and Influence of Stakeholders in Parepare City

Pengembangan ekonomi kreatif di Kota Parepare menghadapi tantangan dalam tata kelola kolaboratif antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi kondisi awal tata kelola kolaboratif, memetakan peran dan tanggung jawab pemangku kepentingan, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan dan kemajuan dalam sektor ekonomi kreatif di kota ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara dan observasi. Data dikumpulkan dari 15 informan, termasuk pemerintah, pengusaha, komunitas, dan akademisi, selama periode dari 23 Juni hingga 5 Juli 2024. Lokasi penelitian meliputi berbagai titik di Kota Parepare yang terkait dengan ekonomi kreatif dan pariwisata. Studi ini menemukan bahwa meskipun pemerintah telah menunjukkan komitmen melalui pelatihan dan bimbingan teknis, tantangan dalam koordinasi dan ketidakpastian kebijakan masih menghambat kemajuan. Pertumbuhan UMKM yang positif dan upaya kolaboratif antara berbagai pemangku kepentingan menunjukkan potensi, namun sinergi yang lebih baik diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pengembangan. Untuk meningkatkan tata kelola kolaboratif dan mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi kreatif, Kota Parepare perlu memperbaiki koordinasi antar pemangku kepentingan dan menyusun kebijakan yang lebih terarah. Kolaborasi yang harmonis dan dukungan berkelanjutan akan memperkuat ekosistem ekonomi kreatif di Parepare.

The Effect of Knowledge and Promotion on Customer Interest in Using Services PT. Pegadaian Branch, Parepare City

This study aims to determine: The influence of customer knowledge on customer interest in using PT Pegadaian services at the Parepare city branch and to determine the influence of promotion on customer interest in using PT Pegadaian services, both of which greatly influence customer interest. The method used is quantitative and data is obtained by means of questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques: validity test, reliability test, statistical test and classical assumption test. The results of the study indicate that the influence of customer knowledge partially has a significant effect on customer interest in using PT Pegadaian services and then promotion partially has a significant effect on customer interest in using PT Pegadaian services.

Analisis Uji Kuat Tekan Beton pada Campuran Air Payau Desa Tellumpanua Kecamatan Suppa

Increased economic growth in the city of Parepare with the presence of buildings around the estuary. In general, the composition of concrete making materials is taken from good materials. The problem encountered in the field is that the quality of concrete in construction decreases due to brackish water, causing structural elements in the construction to become porous. Meanwhile, preventive measures are rarely or never taken. As a result, the construction life is very short. Brackish water is one of the causes of structural failure. This is due to the content of sulfate and chloride ions in water containing salt/salts that react with chemical elements in reinforcing steel resulting in corrosion of the reinforcement. The purpose of the study was to analyse the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of clean water against the percentage of brackish water with a maintenance age of 7, 14, 21, and 28 days. The results showed that brackish water had an impact on reducing the compressive strength of concrete due to the high chemical content in brackish water such as Sulfate (SO²¯) of 52.5 in brackish water in Kenjeran and 62.5 in brackish water in mangrove. Dissolved Solids (TDS) of 15188 mg/l in kenjeran brackish water and 3436 mg/l in mangrove brackish water. Organic Content (KMnO) of 8.05 mg/l in kenjeran brackish water and 6.69 mg/l in mangrove brackish water is too high, so the chemical content contained in brackish water can damage the compounds in the cement content and decrease the strength of the materials contained in the concrete. In this case it can result in concrete having a very low durability.

The Existence of the Quarter Life Crisis Phenomenon in Young Adults on Post-Covid-19 Mental Health in Parepare City Communities

This study aims to explore the phenomenon of Quarter Life Crisis among young adults in Parepare City before and after the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on mental health. This ex-post facto research involved young adults without permanent jobs in Parepare City. A purposive sampling technique was employed, with a total sample of 300 respondents. The study results indicate a significant effect of Quarter Life Crisis on Covid-19 prevention (Sig. 0.002 < 0.005) and on mental health (Sig. 0.014 < 0.05). A mental health workshop is proposed as an intervention to assist individuals experiencing a Quarter Life Crisis.

Financial Management of Village-owned Enterprises Affected by Employee Competency and Organizational Culture

This study reveals new dynamics in BUMDes financial management by identifying the role of employee competence and organizational culture in managing the financial affairs of Village-owned Enterprises. The objective of this research is to test the hypothesis regarding the influence of employee competence and organizational culture variables on BUMDes financial management. The population in this study consists of 800 BUMDes managers in the city of Parepare. The data collection method employed in this research is a survey method, using structured questionnaires distributed through purposive sampling techniques. Employee competence positively affects BUMDes financial management; higher competence levels are associated with increased financial management accountability in BUMDes. Organizational culture also positively influences BUMDes financial management, as it creates a supportive work environment, clarifies vision and mission, and provides incentives for good performance. These findings offer a new perspective on the importance of organizational culture in managing the contributions of various factors to BUMDes financial management.

Digitalization of Tourism and the Role of Generation Z in Parepare City (An Analysis from the Perspective of New Media Cultural Participation Theory)

The Parepare City Government's policy of positioning the city as an industry without smokestacks, as outlined in the city's vision 2018-2023, the development of the tourism sector as highly urgent. Alongside digital media determinism, there is opportunity to develop a smart city that implements a series of tourism developments through digitalization to increase tourist visits, with a tourism digitalization program through the contributions of Generation Z. Based on research findings, Parepare City Government has encouraged policies for the involvement of Generation Z through various policies, such as programs and budgets to encourage the involvement and competence of Parepare's Generation Z residents. They has a significant contribution to tourism development through the use of information and communication technology, including citizen journalism, social media platforms, and cultural events that converge with digital information, as part of the globalization of Parepare's tourism information based on new media. This aligns with theory proposed by Henry Jenkins that the presence of new media will encourage audiences to collectively take roles, including Generation Z. Hence, Generation Z contributes to the activities on social media platforms for disseminating tourism information about Parepare City. The digital space participation of Parepare's Generation Z acts both as followers and prosumers.

Assistance in Preparing Islamic Boarding School-Based Financial Reports Based on Psak No. 45 Parepare City Scope

Islamic boarding schools have an important role in their development. not only in Parepare, but also throughout Indonesia and even in other Muslim countries. Islamic boarding schools are non-profit organizations because Islamic boarding schools are institutions that do not aim to make a profit for individuals or their managers. However, preparing Islamic boarding school financial reports is a form of managerial responsibility to interested parties, so the resulting reporting must be accountable and free from misstatement. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach where we will hold meetings with Islamic boarding school foundation managers and will focus on financial reporting by providing assistance, discussions and questions and answers. The result of this service is that the financial reports of Islamic boarding schools in the Parepare City area have not fully adopted an accounting system that is in line with the Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines. Currently, the reports submitted are limited to cash inflows and outflows, so Islamic Boarding School Accounting Guidelines are needed to provide non-binding, but supportive, direction in preparing financial reports.

Analisis Sistem Manajemen Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Kerja Pada Proyek Pembangunan Perpustakaan Habibie Kota Parepare

The various building failures show that there are still many construction safety problems that are being ignored so that the Habibie library building construction project in Parepare City cannot be separated from these threats. Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3) needs to be held to this construction project to prevent, reduce, and even strive to eliminate the risk of work accidents (zero accidents). The aim of this research is to analyze the level of success of the SMK3 and factors causing the delay of its implementation. This study using a descriptive method with qualitative approach through distributing questionnaires to 150 respondents which later be analyzed using SPSS program. The research results show that the success rate for implementing occupational safety and health is 74.20% and the most influential inhibiting factors are limited funds and also the lack of knowledge about SMK3 from the company and its employees.

Analisis Karakteristik Pergerakan Moda Transportasi Pengangkut Bawang Merah Kabupaten Enrekang

Land transportation as a means of inter-city transportation has the advantage of being able to distribute people and goods with a larger capacity and relatively cheaper costs. The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of onion transportation, performance, distribution time and the purpose of distributing the onion harvest in Enrekang Regency. This research used a quantitative method, which was carried out for 1 month, namely in September-October 2022 in Enrekang Regency, South Sulawesi, using SPSS analysis. The results of the research show that the characteristics of the 240 respondents were all men, with the most widely used vehicle brand being the Mitsubishi 4-wheeled type (medium truck), the most frequent distribution time range was between 10-15 times a month with an average speed of 50- 60 km/hour, departure time between 10:00 – 15:00 WITA, and arriving around 15:00 – 18:00 WITA, distance over 100 Km, and the longest loading time is over 120 minutes, with the aim of distribution most often to exporters with a percentage of 57.08%, while for distribution areas outside Enrekang Regency the most frequently is Parepare City with a percentage of 46.25%.

Service innovation in public health: A case study of an Indonesian local government

This study aims to investigate the innovation and efficacy of the integrated 112 Call Centre service in Parepare City, Indonesia, precisely in delivering healthcare services to the local population. The study aims to comprehend the effects of the Call Centre 112 service, its assimilation by the community, and the obstacles encountered during its execution. The study employs a qualitative methodology to elucidate the nature of service innovation and its effects on the community. The analysis assesses the comparative benefits, compatibility, level of difficulty, and feasibility of implementing the Call Centre 112 service. Furthermore, the study examines the obstacles the local government encounters in implementing service innovation and enhancing service quality. The study's findings demonstrate that the community has responded favourably to the Call Centre 112 service, which has exhibited encouraging patterns in assisting patients, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. The service has demonstrated a comparative advantage in terms of compatibility, trialability, and observability, which has contributed to its success in delivering prompt health care to the residents of Parepare City. Nevertheless, the report also underscores difficulties associated with public awareness and comprehension of the program. This research enhances the academic discourse on service innovation in public administration by offering valuable insights into the effects and difficulties associated with the implementation of the 112 Call Centre service in the health sector. The results have practical consequences for local governments and public health agencies, highlighting the significance of visibility and community acceptance in effectively carrying out healthcare advancements.

Modeling Factors Influencing Covid-19 Cases in South Sulawesi Using Bayesian Conditional Autoregressive Localised

South Sulawesi Province is listed as the province with the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the Sulawes island. Research on Covid-19 modeling has been carried out by many researchers, but until now, there has been no research using the Bayesian spatial Conditional Autoregressive Localized model which involves a combination of factors such as distance to the provincial capital, population density, and the number of elderly people in each district in South Sulawesi Province. The aim of this research is to get the best Bayesian Conditional Autoregressive Localized model. The best model is based on four criteria, namely: Deviance Information Criteria, Watanabe Akaike Information Criteria, residuals from Modified Moran's I, and the number of areas included in a group. It was found that model with G=3 by including population density covariates was the best model. A significant factor influencing the increase in Covid-19 cases is the population density factor which has a positive effect. This shows that the more densely populated an area is, the greater the chance of being infected with Covid-19. Makassar has the highest relative risk value for Covid-19 followed by Toraja district and Pare-Pare City. Meanwhile, Bone district has the lowest relative risk value for Covid-19, followed by Wajo district and Enrekang district.

Innovation Development Strategy of Entrepreneurial Skills Education Program in Parepare

Innovation in the Entrepreneurial Skills Education (PKW) program is urgently needed. For this reason, an appropriate strategy is required so that the PKW program can align with the times. This study aims to find a strategy model for developing innovation in the PKW program organized by PKBM Sipatuwo Deceng in Parepare City for 2020–2022. This study used a qualitative research method with a case study design. In collecting data, 10 participants were interviewed intensively and in-depth for approximately 3 months, offline and online. The collected data were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques developed by Miles Huberman. Based on the review and analysis, this study revealed several findings. First, the PKW program was developed by mobilizing community participation through social action during the COVID-19 pandemic. Second, the strategy for developing the PKW program innovation is based on a gradual cycle. Starting with project discussions, case studies, feedback, and forming working groups. Third, the weaknesses were identified, recommending that financial literacy and strengthening the character of participants become essential parts of future PKW programs. Overall, the PKW program development strategy implemented by PKBM Siaptuwo Deceng was quite successful and had a real impact.

THE EFFECT OF FOOD PRICE VOLATILITY (FPV) ON INFLATION IN PAREPARE CITY

Food price volatility often occurs and cannot be avoided, including food price volatility that occurs in Parepare City. The effect of movement or changes in food prices appears to influence inflation, which in turn becomes the purpose of this study, namely to analyze the effect of changes in food prices on inflation in Parepare City. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The data used is secondary data in the form of monthly time series from July 2018 to June 2021. The independent variables in this study are the food prices of rice, chicken meat, red chili, chicken eggs and granulated sugar. The results showed that the food prices of rice and chicken eggs have an increasing trend while the prices of chicken meat, red chili, and granulated sugar tend to decrease. The coefficient of determination test results shows that changes in food prices simultaneously positively and significantly affect inflation. The t-statistical test shows that partially changes in food prices of rice and chicken meat have a positive and significant effect on inflation while changes in food prices of red chili, chicken eggs and granulated sugar have a positive but insignificant effect on inflation. This research has implications for public policy to develop food prices stabilization policies, such as food reserve policies, market regulations, incentives for food producers, or social assistance programs to alleviate the impact of food inflation.

This study aims to analyze the partial and simultaneous influence between accounting information systems, internal control systems, and budget targets on the quality of financial reports PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City to determine and analyze which variables have the most influence or dominant on the quality of financial reports PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City, This study uses quantitative data and the data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The analysis method used is multiple regression analysis, t-test, f-test, correlation coefficient (r) and coefficient of determination (r2). The results showed that the accounting information system and budget goals partially had a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City, while the internal control system partially did not have a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City, but simultaneously or together had a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial statements PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City and the accounting information system variable is the most influential or dominant variable on the quality of financial statements PT. Mappadeceng Jaya Lestari Parepare City.

This article was written to provide an overview of sharia banking strategies in maximizing customer growth. comparing Islamic banks with commercial banks and the development of Islamic banks. The data sources that the author uses are primary data and secondary data. This research is classified as qualitative descriptive research, meaning that this research attempts to describe, record, analyze and interpret what is researched through observation, interviews and studying documentation. This research is field research or field research. Field research is research carried out on an event that actually happened. The strategy of sharia banks to maximize customer growth in the city of Parepare is not very optimal because there has not been much outreach to the public about sharia banks, so the public still equates sharia banks with general (conventional) banks.

Peran Akuntansi Zakat terhadap Transparansi dan Akuntabilitas di Lembaga Amil Zakat Muhammadiyah Kota Parepare

This research employs a qualitative, descriptive research approach. The primary data sources consist of employees from LAZISMU Parepare City and representatives of the muzakki, while secondary data include necessary documents from LAZISMU Parepare City. The researcher, assisted by interview guides, documents, and a mobile phone for documentation and recording processes, acts as the research instrument. The research findings indicate that (1) LAZISMU Parepare City has been following PSAK No. 109 in its accounting processes as instructed by LAZISMU Central. Despite not yet adopting the latest revisions of PSAK No. 109 in its financial reporting process, LAZISMU Parepare City is committed to implementing the revised PSAK No. 109 in the near future. (2) In efforts to enhance transparency and accountability, LAZISMU has reported its financial statements to internal stakeholders, including muzakki who are civil servants, and has undergone audit processes by both external auditors and the Ministry of Religious Affairs. However, LAZISMU Parepare City has not reported its financial statements to external parties, particularly the wider community and non-civil servant muzakki. (3) The compliance of LAZISMU Parepare City's financial statements with Sharia principles outlined in Surah Al-Baqarah: 282 meets the criteria, as confirmed by the Sharia compliance audit conducted by the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Nevertheless, certain points in the process need to be adjusted to align with the current conditions of Parepare City.

Level of Civil Servant Legal Awareness in Providing Public Services

This research aims to find out; (1) the level of legal awareness of Parepare municipal civil servants; (2) the level of quality of public service for Civil Servants of Parepare municipality; and (3) the significance of the influence of the level of legal awareness on the quality of public services for civil servants in Parepare City. This research is a survey. The population consists of two groups, namely, (1) all civil government officials working at the Parepare City secretariat who are registered in 2022, which has 134 people. A total sample of 35 people was taken using stratified random sampling, and a total sample of 35 people was taken using accidental sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, documentation, and interviews, and were analyzed using descriptive statistics and simple regression. The research results show that; (1) the level of legal awareness of civil servants at the regional secretariat office of Parepare City in providing public services seen from the aspects of legal knowledge, understanding of the law, legal attitudes, and patterns of legal behavior, is included in the low category; (2) the level of quality of public services in the field of civil servant administration at the regional secretariat office of Parepare City is seen from the aspects of friendliness, simplicity, clarity and certainty, openness (transparency), efficiency, economy, equitable justice, and timeliness of service, including in medium category; (3) there is a significant influence of the quality level of legal awareness on the quality of public services in the field of administration of civil servants at the regional secretariat office of Parepare City.
