The Influence of Parents' Knowledge Level on the Behavior of Paracetamol Syrup Use in the Community and Health Service Facilities in the City of Bandung

This study aims to determine the analysis of the influence between the level of knowledge on the behavior of using paracetamol syrup in parents in the community and health care facilities in the city of Bandung. The research method used was analytic-correlation in a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used was accidental sampling. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire with data analysis using the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results showed that the level of knowledge of parents or guardians in the community (community) and three health care facilities in Bandung City (Pharmacy, Clinic, Puskesmas) the majority had high knowledge (65.13%). The behavior of using paracetamol syrup in parents or guardians in the community (community) and three health care facilities (Pharmacies, Clinics, Puskesmas) the majority had very good behavior (67.58%). In this study, the level of knowledge affects the behavior of paracetamol syrup use in the community (community) and three health care facilities in Bandung City (Pharmacies, Clinics, Puskesmas). So that the better the knowledge, the better the behavior of using paracetamol syrup.

The Clinical and Biochemical Profiles and Outcomes of Dengue Fever and Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever in Children During a Dengue Outbreak in 2022 at a Tertiary Care Hospital in Bangladesh

The Effect of Audio Visual and Booklet to Increase Behaviour of Screening IVA Test at Sukarasa Public Health Center

Introduction: Women's health is an indicator of health achievement in the world, including in Indonesia. Cervical cancer is a female cancer that causes the most deaths due to cancer, especially in developing countries. Objective: The study aims to analyse the effect of audio-visual and booklet in education to increase behavior of screening IVA test at the Sukarasa Public Health Center Area. Method: This research used a quasi-experimental design with a pretest posttest non-equivalent control group design. Data analysis in this study used univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using paired T-test, independent T-test, Mc-Namer, chi-square and multivariate test using multiple logistic regression. Results: The results of this study show that the results of the paired T-test of knowledge have a p-value (p=0.001) in the intervention and the control (p=0.724). In the attitude category, p-value is a (p=0.001) in the intervention and the control (p=0.469) so it can be concluded that there are differences in knowledge and attitudes before and after the intervention. In the practice category using the Mc-Nemar test produced a p-value (p=0.001) in the intervention and control so that there were differences in practice before and after intervention. The results of the independent T-Test showed a p-value for knowledge (p=0.001) and attitude (p=0.001), which means there were differences after the intervention. The results of knowledge and attitudes the chi-square test show (p=0.001), which means there is a relationship between knowledge with practice, and attitude with practice. Multivariate test on knowledge of occupational confounders. In attitude there is a confounder of education, while in practice there are confounders, namely age and education. Conclusion: Audio visual and booklet can increase behaviour of screening IVA Test at the Sukarasa Community Health Center, Bandung City.

Implementation of Religious Moderation in Tolerance Village in Bandung City

This research aims to understand and analyze the understanding of religious moderation and the manifestation of religious moderation in the Village of Tolerance, Kebon Jeruk sub-district, Andir District, Bandung City, Indonesia. This research uses Alfred Schutz's religious phenomenology approach regarding the construction of meaning, then analyzed using indicators of religious moderation, namely tolerance, non-violence and radicalism, national commitment and accommodating to local culture. The method used in this research is grounded research, a type of qualitative research with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The data sources used in this research are primary and secondary. Primary sources were obtained from interviews with village officials, community leaders, religious leaders, and the people of Kampung Toleransi. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained through books, journals and websites. The results of this research can be concluded that in the Village of Tolerance, there is a manifestation of religious moderation. Religious moderation is understood as an attitude or view that respects each other amidst existing differences. Having different views or beliefs is not a problem for the people of Kampung Toleransi, but with the differences that exist, each religious community always gives each other space to express their religion in a respectful, safe, comfortable and peaceful manner without any intimidation from other religious communities. The attitude of religious moderation in Tolerance Village can be seen from the people who have and always prioritize an attitude of tolerance, wasatiyah or balanced, fair, musawah or equal, and deliberation. Its manifestation is realized in the form of strengthening tolerance, national commitment, anti-violence and radicalism, respect for local culture, the role of religious figures and government policies.

The Influence of Financial Literacy, Digital Literacy, and Social Capital on Digital Bank Financial Inclusion through Ease of Use an Intervening Variable

The growth of internet users in Indonesia has experienced a significant increase year by year, reaching 78.19% of the total population in 2022-2023. This indicates a broader penetration of the internet among Indonesian society. The national digital banking transaction value shows an increasing trend, reaching Rp5,098.6 trillion in August 2023, reflecting the growing adoption of digital financial services in Indonesia. This increase is supported by the ease of access offered by banks and online financial management, in line with the preferences of the digital era's growing generation, thus Generation Z quickly and comfortably adopts digital banking services. This brings the potential for greater financial inclusion among the younger generation.This study employed a quantitative approach with a causal purpose, applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA). The dependent variable (financial inclusion), the intervening variable (ease of use), and the independent variables (financial literacy, digital literacy, and social capital). This study, which includes 200 Bandung City-based Generation Z digital bank customers, uses the Structural Equation Model (SEM) based on Partial Least Square (PLS) as its analytical tool. The study's findings demonstrate that Generation Z's digital bank customers in Bandung City already have very high levels of social capital, financial inclusion, digital literacy, and ease of use. Furthermore, it was shown that the effects of digital literacy, social capital, and financial literacy on financial inclusion might be moderated by simplicity of use. Financial inclusion is also significantly impacted directly by social capital, digital literacy, and financial literacy. It is intended that this research will provide a greater understanding of the variables impacting Generation Z's financial inclusion and how those characteristics may affect policies aimed at boosting the availability and use of financial services in the digital age.

Patient Satisfaction with Health Services (in the Building) at Jajaway Health Center Bandung City

To realize good service quality, health centers must maintain the quality of their services, one way is to measure patient satisfaction. But in fact, the phenomenon that exists at the time of service at the Jajaway Health Center in Bandung City, patients still express a lack of health services provided at the health center such as waiting benches that are lacking so that patients waiting for the queue still have to stand, service hours that are still not on time, minimal information related to the health center and there are still officers who are less friendly during service. This study aims to determine Patient Satisfaction with Health Services (In Building) at the Jajaway Health Center, Bandung City. The type of research used is a quantitative method with a descriptive approach. The patient population in April 2023 in this study was 1294 respondents and the research sample used was 95 respondents. The data collection technique uses stratified random sampling. This research was conducted on July 14-19, 2023 at the Jajaway Health Center, Bandung City. The results of this study showed 2 respondents (2.1%) were very dissatisfied, 1 respondent (1.1%) was dissatisfied, 63 respondents (66.3%) were satisfied, and 29 respondents (30.5%) were very satisfied.

Bridging Theory and Practice: Applying Vrio and Pest to Foster Digital Transformation in Kadin Bandung City Msmes

ABSTRACT The data indicates that approximately 70% of MSMEs in Indonesia operate within the food and beverage sector, with 99.5% falling under the MSME classification. Despite being perceived as having numerous advantages, MSMEs face several limitations that hinder their ability to enhance competitiveness and growth. The PKM program is designed to equip participants with relevant knowledge and skills, aiming to improve product quality, expand market access, and implement effective digital strategies. The approach employed involved direct counseling and mentoring sessions for 20 women-led MSMEs supported by KADIN Bandung City. The most notable improvement was observed in participants' understanding of the benefits of digital transformation, along with a strong motivation to apply it within their business practices. Overall, the counseling and mentoring activities demonstrated their effectiveness in enhancing participants' comprehension and motivation to implement the three concepts presented in a practical business context. Evaluasi dan Perancangan Model Bisnis UMKM Miss Bluder dengan Business Model Canvas

Miss Bluder is an MSME that sells bluder bread in the city of Bandung. In recent times, Miss Bluder has experienced a significant decline in sales. This is due to limitations in human resource management, suboptimal partnerships, and lack of effectiveness in the sales media used. This research aims to evaluate and design a new business model for Miss Bluder using the Business Model Canvas method. The data used included current business models, customer profiles from interviews, as well as business environment data from literature studies and online research. A SWOT analysis was carried out to formulate an improvement strategy, followed by the design of a Value Proposition Canvas, Channels, and Customer Relationships. After the business model design is completed, verification, financial simulation, and validation processes are carried out through evaluations and interviews with business owners. With the implementation of the new business model, it is hoped that Miss Bluder can overcome the decline in sales, improve business performance, and strengthen its position in the market.

The Effect of Combined Foot Massage and Nature Music on the Sleep Quality of Critically Ill Patients

Aims: Critical patients in ICU and HCU often experience poor sleep due to excessive stress and various symptoms like environmental factors, pain, noise, anxiety, and physical discomfort. Foot massage and natural music interventions can help meet their sleep needs, providing a relaxing effect and improving physical and psychological conditions. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of providing combination therapy of foot massage and natural music therapy in Dr. Hospital's peacock room Salamun 2023. Methods: This type of research is pre-experimental with a pre-post test of one group and uses the Richard Champbell Sleep Questionnaire (RCSQ). Then the data was processed using a paired sample T-test. The sample in this study is 16 respondents. Results: The results of the statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.01, meaning that there was an effect between the pretest and posttest of the combination of foot massage and natural music therapy on the quality of sleep in critical patients in the peacock room at Dr. Salamun Hospital, Bandung City, 2023. Conclusions : the conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of foot massage therapy and natural music on the sleep quality of critical patients as shown by the results of measuring the quality of critical patients before and after consecutive interventions with massage of both feet combined with natural music. For 10 minutes it has been proven to be able to improve sleep quality in critically ill patients so that this intervention can be applied as a therapy to improve sleep quality.

PREDIKSI DAMPAK PERUBAHAN TATAGUNA LAHAN TERHADAP DEBIT LIMPASAN, STUDI KASUS: GEREJA RANCASARI

Flooding is one of the most frequent natural disasters in Indonesia. Based on data, as of 2024, there have been 137 cases of flooding incidents. One of the causes of flooding, particularly in urban areas, is due to land use change. This study examines the impact of land use changes on runoff discharge in a Church area in the Bandung City. Additionally, this study investigates the effect of the development of this area on flood water levels in the Riung channel, which serves as an outlet channel. In this study, modeling is conducted using the SWMM model. The study utilizes data from the BMKG Bandung and GPM satellite rainfall data from 2001 to 2022 for rainfall analysis. The results indicate that in the study area, the duration of extreme rainfall producing maximum discharge is rainfall lasting for 7 hours. As a result of the church development, runoff discharge increases by 26.3 – 34.4% across various return periods. For time to peak, there is no significant change in conditions before and after the area is developed. This is due to area is relatively small, resulting in a relatively shorter concentration time. Based on the hydraulic analysis, the Riung channel is still able to accommodate additional runoff generated due to development, leaving a freeboard height of 4.5 cm for a 10-year return period. However, based on observations, special attention is needed regarding the issue of sedimentation and trash, which often causes backflow in several segments of the trenches.Keywords:runoff, land use change, urban drainage, SWMM, Bandung

Implementation of a STEM-Based Project-Based Learning Model to Improve Students' Science Process Skills on Alternative Energy Material

Science process skills are skills that students must have in learning Physics because students are required to be able to apply scientific methods and knowledge and develop the knowledge skills they already have, so that science process skills are needed by students to face the real world which is dominated by technology and science. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how students' science process abilities in studying physics are affected by a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) project-based learning approach. The study's sample was selected through the use of purposeful sampling. The sample consisted of thirty-four X grade students from a public high school in Bandung City. Formative pretest-posttest testing was used in this study as part of a quantitative pre-experiment methodology. Twelve multiple-choice questions were utilized in a formative evaluation of the abilities of the science process to collect research data. The results revealed that the moderate group had an N-Gain score of 0.61. A high category for observing and classifying indicators and a medium category for forecasting, measuring, drawing conclusions, and presenting indicators are used to categorize the improvement in science process skills indicators. Thus, the STEM-based learning model can improve students' science process skills.

Using the ibsr technique as a psychological intervention to alleviate student stress in biology learning: Impacts on motivation, knowledge construction, and cognitive anxiety

Learning difficulties are a common issue faced by students, with stress being a significant contributing factor. One psychological treatment that has been shown to effectively reduce stress is Inquiry-Based Stress Reduction (IBSR). The objective of this study is to integrate IBSR into a discovery learning strategy in Biology in the classroom, with the aim of increasing students' learning motivation and knowledge construction while reducing their learning difficulties and cognitive anxiety. This is quasi-experimental research that used a post-test non-equivalent control group design. The study involved 72 11th-grade science students from two different classes at one of the public high schools in Bandung City. One class, consisting of 36 students, received IBSR treatment, while the other class, also consisting of 36 students, did not. Both classes used a discovery learning framework for teaching. Data on motivation, learning difficulties, and cognitive anxiety were collected using a rating scale questionnaire with eight scales. Students' ability to construct knowledge was measured using the German Cognitive Load (GCL) instrument in the form of a written test with indicators taken from Mayer's cognitive taxonomy (2002) in the realm of understanding. The study found that incorporating IBSR techniques into learning strategies for the immune system material can reduce student stress and improve learning performance, motivation, and knowledge construction (GCL), while also decreasing learning difficulties and cognitive anxiety.

Analisis Kelayakan Potensi Destinasi Wisata di Kampung Saradan/Sawah Abadi Kelurahan Cisurupan, Kecamatan Pasirluyu Kota Bandung

The city of Bandung as a leading tourist destination was also strengthened based on the results of a survey conducted by the Fastbooking.com site at the end of 2014. At the world level, the city of Bandung is in the 21st position in the most popular/favorite tourist destination in the world. The advantages of the city of Bandung also come from the level of comfort and livability of the city. The city of Bandung still has the potential to become an attraction and tourist destination, namely eternal rice fields which function as food fields as well as Green Open Space (RTH) with an area of ??32.8 hectares. The eternal rice field area is located in the Cisurupan Village area, Pasirluyu District, which is also included in the North Bandung Area (KBU). This research is directed at analyzing the feasibility of tourism potential and data analysis in the Sawah Abadi area, Cisurupan Village, Pasirluyu District, Bandung City within the scope of market aspects, technical/operational and management aspects, as well as financial aspects. The aim of this research is to determine the tourism potential so that it can become a tourist area. The research method used is descriptive, which describes a phenomenon as it is by examining it regularly, prioritizing objectivity, and carrying it out carefully. There is no treatment given or controlled, and there is no hypothesis testing. The targeted output is to produce a written report and it is hoped that this output can be used by the community in the Sawah Abadi Area, Cisurupan Village, Pasirluyu District, Bandung City.

OPTIMIZATION OF MSME PRODUCTS THROUGH USE OF FINANCIAL APPLICATIONS AND INVENTORY CONTROL

Optimizing sales is important in ensuring business continuity. This qualitative study was carried out to find empirical evidence of the effectiveness of financial applications and inventory control in optimizing sales of MSME products assisted by IPEMI, Bandung City, West Java. The use of primary data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 155 MSME managers in the city of Bandung which were carried out randomly using the simple random sampling method. The influence between variables was tested using the SMART PLS 4.0 analysis technique. The findings of this research show that the use of financial applications is very effective in increasing sales volume and has a better effect compared to inventory control. This research also provides important aspects for cafe and restaurant business actors in terms of the need for adequate risk assessments for inventory management, the availability of competent resources in managing financial applications and the need for effective sales procedures so that consumers feel helped in encouraging customers to make product purchase transactions.

The Influence of Social Presence on Purchase Intention in Live Video Commerce (Empirical Study in Bandung City)

The rapid development of internet technology has changed the way we live and interact. The increasing number of internet users in Indonesia has encouraged business actors to be more innovative in marketing their products digitally. The emergence of direct shopping features on various social media platforms has revolutionized the way consumers shop, allowing transactions to occur instantly and interactively. There is competition between e-commerce that uses live video features such as Shopee, TikTok, Tokopedia, and Lazada. This study aims to determine the role of social presence on purchase intention mediated by immersive experience and trust in live video commerce features in Indonesia. The research methodology employed is a descriptive and quantitative approach, which utilizes data acquisition techniques through online questionnaires to obtain 385 respondents. Purposive sampling is implemented in conjunction with nonprobability sampling. The data collected will be analyzed using SmartPLS version 3.9. Digital Empowerment for Administrative Staff in Private Higher Education Institutions

This study aims to analyze if work flexibility mediates the relationships between technology leadership, digital skills, organizational culture, and digital adaptation of administrative staff in private Higher Education Institutions City of Bandung, Indonesia. This research is targeting 138 private higher education institutions. Of 1325 eligible administrative staff to be surveyed, 203 gave their response to the questionnaire. PLS-SEM was used to analyze the data collected. The findings suggest that technology leadership, digital skills, and organizational culture significantly affect the digital adaptation of administrative staff. Work flexibility mediates the impact of the three independent variables on digital adaptation. This research, however, has several limitations including sample limitation and baseline on the context of the private higher education institutions in Bandung’s city. Recommendations would be to improve training a technology leader and digital skills and strengthen an organizational culture that supports innovative culture and work flexibility. Further research should broaden the scope of the sample and other factors in the context.

The Effect of Murottal Al-Qur'an on the Anxiety of Pregnant Women in the Third Trimester in the Independent Practice of Midwives in the Bandung City Region

Background: Anxiety is still widespread among pregnant women in Indonesia, and the frequency of this condition is relatively significant. During the third trimester of pregnancy, pregnant women experience a higher level of anxiety compared to the previous trimester. This is because they are more concerned about the labor and delivery procedure that they will go through as well as the pain that they will face during the birth process—taking in the murottal of the Al-Qur'an, which has the potential to induce a soothing effect. Purpose: The aim of this study is to investigate how murottal Al-Qur'an influences third trimester pregnant women's anxiety level. Methode: The study design was a quasi-experiment with a control design that was used before and after the experiment. The study sample was made up of 60 pregnant women from Bandung who were in their third trimester and were between 28 and 36 weeks along. There were 30 expecting women in each of the two groups: the control group and the intervention group. Anxiety observation sheets were used to gather information. The results were looked at with the Mann Whitney test. Result: The intervention group was found to have a mean difference of 9.27, while the control group had a mean difference of 1.17. The Mann-Whitney test results, which were obtained by comparing the posttest results of the intervention group and the control group, indicated that murottal Al-Qur'an had a significant impact on the reduction of anxiety in third-trimester expectant women (p value = 0.017 < 0.05). Conclusion: Murottal al-Qur'an affects anxiety of third-trimester pregnant women.. Suggestion: It is hoped that future researchers will carry out further research by adding variables that can influence the anxiety of pregnant women in the third trimester and a larger number of respondents studied.

PLN CSR Program Through Community Empowerment at Saguling Dam, Citarum River, Bandung, West Java

Saguling Dam is a man-made reservoir located in West Bandung Regency, which dams the flow of the Citarum River, the largest river in West Java. The current condition of the dam has been heavily polluted by an abundance of water hyacinth and a buildup of household waste covering the river's surface. According to data from the Bandung City Sanitation Company in 2016, approximately 2.5 million residents produced 1,500 - 1,600 tons of waste per day. However, only 1,100 - 1,200 tons were transported to the Sarimukti Final Disposal Site (TPA), and 150 - 250 tons were processed by residents. The remaining 150 - 250 tons of waste were disposed of in Citarum River's tributaries. PLN (State Electricity Company) implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program themed "Green Employee Involvement" through community empowerment efforts aimed at addressing the waste problems in the Saguling Dam. The "Green Employee Involvement" program, in collaboration with the Bening Saguling Foundation, was carried out in celebration of World Environment Day 2024. The research methodology used is qualitative, employing a case study approach. Data collection methods include literature review and observation. The research findings show that PLN's Corporate Social Responsibility program, themed "Green Employee Involvement" in collaboration with the Bening Saguling Foundation, has had a positive impact on environmental preservation while also providing economic benefits to the community in the Saguling Dam area, Bandung, West Java.

The sustainable livelihood model of farmers in the peri-urban areas of Bandung city

Welfare is the goal of every endeavor undertaken by humans, including farmers. However, to achieve prosperity, it is necessary to ensure that the sustainable livelihood conditions of each farmer are in good condition, supported by good characteristics and mastery of the five development capitals. This research aims to · Analyze the sustainable livelihoods of farmers on the outskirts of Bandung City; · Analyze the dominant factors that influence the sustainable livelihoods of farmers in the outskirts of Bandung City; · Analyze the influence of sustainable livelihoods on the welfare of farmers on the outskirts of Bandung City. The method used in this research is a predominantly quantitative mixed method. Data analysis in this study used structural equation modeling (SEM) involving 177 samples of farmers in Andir Village, Baleendah District and Mekarwangi Village, Lembang District. The research results showed that: · Respondents perceived sustainable livelihoods in the quite high category with a score of (3.68); · Respondent characteristics, financial capital, social capital and physical capital have a significant influence on sustainable livelihoods, while natural capital and human capital do not have a significant influence on sustainable livelihoods; · Sustainable livelihoods have a significant influence on the welfare of farming households. Based on the research results, there is a need to increase control of the five development capitals through farmers' efforts and initiatives as well as intervention from the government.
