Is Using Government Digital Media Platforms to Disseminate Regulations on Child Adoption Procedures Effective?

Digital media has been used by government of most countries in the world to deliver information, including regulations, to their people. There are some platforms of digital media used by governments, such as X, Instagram, YouTube, and website. One of regulations that is important to be understood by society is regarding child adoption since the number of youths who consider not to have biological child, with slightly number has intention to have child through adoption, has been growing. Therefore, child adoption regulations and procedures are information that should be well disseminated to society. In relation to that matter, this work depicts and discusses: 1) which digital media platforms that the youngsters use to seek information and reasons on choosing that digital media platform? 2) have they ever watched video and/or read regulations or procedures concerning child adoption? and 3) Is digital media an effective media to educate society, particularly Gen Z? The research applies two ways in collecting data, they are focus group discussion and online questionnaire. The focus group discussion joined by 65 (sixty-five) participants, while there are 60 (sixty) respondents who fill out the questionnaire. They are university students in Central Java, Indonesia. Each respondent fills out a questionnaire via google form with open ended questions. The data also gathers from government digital media platform. The results are as follows: 1) three digital media platforms that mostly used by the respondents are X, TikTok, and Instagram, 2) there are 9 (nine) of the respondents who have learnt about child adoption and there are 3 (three) respondents who read the about child adoption but not from government official digital media platforms, and 3) in term of the effectiveness on using digital media platforms to disseminate regulations and procedures concerning child adoption, the result shows that there are 15 (fifteen) respondents who admit that government digital media platforms are effective to be used as media to disseminate regulations and procedures about child education to society (especially to gen Z).

Hubungan Antara Pembelajaran PAI & Budi Pekerti terhadap Perilaku Sosial Siswa di Sekolah Menengah Pertama: Studi Deskriptif di kelas IX SMPN 48 Bandung

This research aims to explore the relationship between learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) and character towards the social behavior of students in class IX SMPN 48 Bandung. The research method used is qualitative with a naturalistic approach. Data was obtained from students, PAI teachers, school principals, and deputy heads of curriculum. The research results show that PAI learning plays an important role in shaping students' character, especially in the aspect of discipline in worship. Factors such as the behavior and characteristics of other people, cognitive processes, environmental factors, and cultural background also influence students' social behavior. PAI teachers have a crucial role in guiding students to develop positive attitudes, such as a sense of empathy, integrity, responsibility and honesty. There is a positive relationship between PAI learning and students' social behavior, where understanding religious values ​​can influence student behavior positively. PAI teachers also play an important role in shaping students' social behavior through real examples in everyday life and interactive teaching methods. The implications of this research for education are the importance of developing an innovative PAI curriculum, continuous training for PAI teachers, supporting a positive school environment, and involving parents in their children's religious education. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the formation of character and social behavior of students at SMPN 48 Bandung and strengthen understanding of religious values ​​in education.

Upaya Peningkatan Nilai Religius Pada Anak-Anak Desa Kandri Melalui Implementasi Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur'an Di Desa Kandri Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang

Religious education for children at TPQ Kandri Village plays a crucial role in shaping their personality and faith. This study discusses the implementation of religious values through various interactive and fun learning methods, allowing children to internalize Islamic teachings effectively at TPQ. The results show that the religious values implemented in the TPQ of Kandri Village children, such as mutual respect, worship, self-confidence, social discipline, discipline, honesty, respect for previous scholars, and the cultivation of the value of Ahlu Sunah Waljamaah teachings, succeeded in increasing their religious values. This activity was conducted in Kandri Village, Gunungpati Subdistrict, Semarang City. This research is expected to provide insight into the effectiveness of the approach applied in educating children in the TPQ environment, as well as its impact on the formation of their religious character.

The Role of Outdoor Mindfulness Intervention in Optimizing Mental Well-Being in Adolescents with Specific Learning Disabilities

Adolescents with specific learning disabilities may experience mental well-being challenges as a result of struggling academically, facing social stigma, being subjected to negative stereotypes, and experiencing heightened levels of anxiety, poor mental health, lower self-esteem, and increased stress. This study explores the potential benefits of outdoor-based mindfulness interventions as a complementary approach to remedial education, in improving mental well-being in adolescents with specific learning disabilities. This study was conducted at an institution that gives remedial education for children with specific learning disability in Thrissur, Kerala. Convenient sampling was used to select 30 students aged 13-18 years. Later, participants were randomly divided into two groups the experimental group (n=15) received outdoor mindfulness training in addition to their regular remedial education program. In contrast, the control group (n=15) received only remedial training. The study duration spanned four weeks, during which the mindfulness group participated in weekly outdoor mindfulness sessions conducted individually. They were instructed to practice mindfulness exercises daily between sessions. Both groups were assessed using the Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale (WEMWBS) at the beginning (pre-intervention) and at the end (post-intervention) of the four weeks to measure changes in mental well-being. The outdoor mindfulness interventions included a range of activities, designed to optimize the level of well-being experienced by the participants in their day-to-day lives. These activities focused on enhancing the skills of mindfully listening, walking, breathing, and observing without any judgments of self and surroundings and being in the present at the moment. Results indicated significant improvements in mental well-being scores among participants in the mindfulness group compared to the control group. This underscores the potential of integrating mindfulness practices into educational settings to enhance emotional regulation and overall well-being in adolescents with specific learning disabilities, highlighting interdisciplinary opportunities across psychology, education, environmental psychology, public health, and social work to support comprehensive student development.

Design of Calligraphy Teaching Materials from the Perspective of Chinese Preschool Education-Anshan City Case Study

Background and Aim: The art of Chinese calligraphy is an important part of Chinese culture because of its artistic and aesthetic value. It originates from Chinese characters, which evolved from traditional symbols. Chinese characters have gone through three stages of development: image, borrowing, and echoing. Chinese characters have evolved from pictures and symbols to standardized forms such as ancient seal script, small seal script, official script, regular script, running script, and cursive script. Calligraphy is a special art originating from China. Children begin learning calligraphy at an early age, with some children as young as four or five practicing scribbling and writing. Before formal literacy education, children develop curiosity about words and engage in spontaneous writing. Learning calligraphy is ideal for preschoolers because it helps develop their creativity and improves their hand-eye coordination. Studies on the emergence of reading and writing in China have been conducted since the 1990s. These studies are based on the Western pinyin writing system and aim to examine the development of literacy skills in children. The goal is to explore the manifestation of reading and writing skills in children and their ability to develop these skills. This study aims to develop and design calligraphy teaching materials for preschool children in Anshan City, China, by incorporating cultural elements unique to the region. Materials and Methods: The study lasted 12 weeks, during which time 50 preschoolers were observed and their activities recorded using a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods, including content and text analysis and user experience research methods. Valid data were generated for analysis. Results: The research suggests that introducing Spring Festival couplets in writing education can help preschool children understand regional culture and encourage them to learn. This can make a significant contribution to calligraphy education for preschool children, which has not been explored before. To improve the calligraphic ability and interest of preschool children, an innovative approach based on educational technology can be used to develop and design calligraphy teaching materials. The effectiveness and feasibility of these materials can be validated through their use in the learning of calligraphy for preschool children in Anshan City, providing new teaching tools for calligraphy education in the city. This can serve as a reference for calligraphy education for preschool children and promote innovation in the field. Conclusion: The study explored the current state of calligraphy art education for preschoolers in Anshan City. Results revealed that there are some issues such as lack of engaging content and teaching methods. Questionnaires and interviews showed that preschoolers are interested in calligraphy, but there is a need for better resources and teaching methods. An experiment was conducted in two kindergartens to compare a new calligraphy education model with traditional methods. Preliminary results suggest that the new model improved children's calligraphy knowledge, skills, interest, and creativity. However, further research is needed for more accurate findings. The conclusion suggests that calligraphy teaching materials for preschool children should take into account their cognitive development and educational needs.

Children's Voices in Poetry: The Illustration and Re-Imagination of National Identity

The voices of children are an expression of their intention through speech and other ways. One of those other ways is through poetry. Moreover, children explore voicing their understanding of national identity through creating poetry. As a result, this study aimed to document the exploration of children's voices in poetry as an illustration and re-imagination of national identity. The research design used in this study was a participatory qualitative one. The subjects of this study were elementary school children in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, and the data were collected from a children's voice project about national identity in poetry. Data were also collected through interviews, observation, and children's poetry analysis. In the end, the results of the study showed that, by allowing them to express their views, children can grow into culturally aware individuals who appreciate diversity and deeply love their country. This research implies that education of children's national identity through poetry can contribute significantly to forming a generation that is deeply patriotic and has a strong understanding of, and an active involvement in, their nation’s future. The themes that emerged from the children's voice project were the Red and White Flag, the Indonesian National Language, the Garuda Pancasila National Emblem, Indonesia's Great National Anthem, Indonesian Ethnicity, and Indonesian Culture and Customs.

Architectural Strategies for Fostering Creativity and Enhancing Education for Children with Autism

Students with intellectual disabilities tend to spend most of their time in the classroom. The current research was conducted to create suitable environment for fostering creativity and improving education for children with autism. The type of research was quantitative, and the research data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. specialized questionnaire was designed using expert opinion. The findings showed that, although psychological and biological factors have the highest correlation (T=867), architectural and environmental factors have a greater effect on biological factors (T=0.663) than do psychological factors (T=576). Furthermore, physical, psychological and biological factors having connecting and complementary roles should be considered when improving the quality of education for children with autism. Psychological factors are the influential components, followed by biological needs. Physical variables identified as facilitating psychological and biological needs included the degree of flexibility in quality (light, color and materials) and environmental structure (layout, shape and function).

The Impact of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) on Students’ Socialization: A Gender Based Study

This study is conducted to examine the effect of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) on students’ socialization with reference to their gender. This study emphasizes the importance of understanding the differences in the lived experiences of male and female students with DLD, and how the analysis can shed light on their social worldview. Using a quantitative approach and a questionnaire, the study investigated two groups of 20 male and 20 female students with developmental language disorders from two schools for children with special education needs in Gujrat. All participants were chosen through purposive sampling. The analysis of the coded data was conducted using SPSS software, version 16, to reveal statistical insights into the socialization of the students and their gender. It was found that overall, the children with DLD showed low levels of socialization, however, disorder may manifest in different ways in males and females. Interestingly, those with milder forms of the disorder display stronger social abilities in comparison with those with higher severity levels of the condition. DLD can create unique challenges for social interaction, depending on the severity and type of the disorder. Moreover, in boys and girls with DLD there might be differences in social interactions. The study reveals that DLD is far more prevalent in girls than in boys indicate that more girls are likely to be diagnosed with the disorder and their social interactions fall within the low range. Furthermore, the severity of DLD seems to be inversely related to social competence, with milder cases exhibiting better socialization skills. This research is very important since it explores the effects of Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) on the social lives of male and female learners. Thus, in analyzing gender differences in the experience of DLD, the study contributes to coaching potential interventions about how DLD appears in specific social contexts. The results highlight the need to estimate the degree of difference in severity and its connection with social competence that is helpful for the further education of children with DLD. Finally, this research adds to the development of an effective strategy in meeting the needs of students with Developmental Language Disorder.

PEDAGOGICAL SUPPORT OF PARENTS IN REMOTE TIME: STRATEGIES AND METHODS

The article explores the important role played by parents in the education of their children in modern conditions of distance learning. The article presents a literature review, research results and discussion of important aspects of pedagogical support for parents.Various theoretical models and practical approaches to pedagogical support of parents are considered, the impact of distance learning on the roles and responsibilities of parents in the educational process of children is assessed, and effective strategies and methods of support adapted to the distance learning format are presented. The study alsoincludes an analysis of the results of surveys and questionnaires of parents, as well as statistical data on the level of their involvement in the educational process. Modern education is facing challenges related to distance learning and hybrid models of education. In this regard, the article presents not only an analysis of current problems and challenges, but also offers practical recommendations and strategies to ensure successful interaction between educational institutions and parents.Taking into account the rapid development of technology and the constantly changing educational context, this article calls for constant updating and improvement of methods of pedagogical support for parents. She also emphasizes the importance of cooperation and exchange of experience between various educational institutions and countries.The article serves as an important contribution to the discussion and development of strategies aimed at improving the education and support of children in the era of distance learning.

Pioneering Physician: Dr. Elizabeth Blackwell and the Path to Medical History.

Elizabeth Blackwell was a remarkable and courageous woman who made significant contributions to medicine, education, and the rights of women. Blackwell achieved significant milestones in the medical field by being the first female physician in America and the first woman to be listed on the United Kingdom medical register. Despite facing challenges, discrimination, and barriers, she founded the London School of Medicine and the New York Infirmary for Women and Children to provide better education and health benefits for women and children. She lived during a time when women were expected to stay in the home; yet, she went on to become a doctor and professor.

Abstract. In 1999, the Nigerian government launched its Universal Basic Education (UBE) program to provide free and compulsory education for every Nigerian child. Despite this effort, girls’ enrollment and school retention are still at their lowest ebb. This problem is even more apparent in Northern Nigeria where economic, religious and cultural factors often deny most girls access to education, especially in the NorthWest. Using a qualitative research methodology, this paper assesses the factors debilitating against girl child education in Northern Nigeria between 1999 and 2015 and their implications. This study finds out that factors such as early marriage, gender discrimination, low government support and the condemnation of co-education were responsible for the low enrollment of girls in schools across the Northern region. The paper concludes that to achieve the United Nation’s Millennium Development Goals2 (MDG2) and Sustainable Development Goals-4 (SDG 4), the government, international community, NGOs and parents must put their hands on deck to break the social, economic, religious and cultural barriers denying girls full and equitable access to education in Northern Nigeria. Using Special Physical Education Curriculum-Based Measurement to Improve Student Motor Development in Both General and Special Needs Population: Review of Early Research Lasting More than Five Decades

The main goal of this study is to acquaint experts in the field of education with the results of early research, which are related to the problems they face even now when it comes to sensitive groups with special needs. Previous experiences can be a good indicator of different models of action for pedagogues and managers within the modern education system. Inclusive education has become a reality faced by all participants in the process. Effective action models have been adopted in developed countries, primarily Western countries. However, in less developed countries, it is evident that the problem of inclusion is faced later, primarily due to legal regulations and the need for more funds for specific training of all participants. This issue is especially neglected when it comes to inclusion in the physical education of children with various disorders in motor development. Examples from practice in earlier research can be a good guide for overcoming various obstacles that all participants face today, both in special and inclusive physical education. Controversies are still occurring between supporters of the traditional particular education approach versus the modern, inclusive education model. A better familiarity with the issue can contribute to overcoming prejudices, which this overview study of earlier research can contribute.

Assessment of the use of game technologies by teachers of educational organizations in career guidance work

Introduction. A significant contribution to the modern educational process of educational organizations is made by game technologies used by teachers for various purposes and contexts. As part of the study, we set ourselves the task of identifying game technologies that, from the point of view of teachers of educational organizations, are most effective for career guidance. In addition, based on the results of the study, we will be able to judge, in general, the activity of educational organizations implementing such an instrument as social partnership in the field of education of children, adolescents and youth. The purpose of this article is to identify and scientifically substantiate the use of gaming technologies by teachers of educational organizations in career guidance work. Materials and methods. 264 people took part in the survey: teachers of educational institutions from 10 regions of the Russian Federation. In the course of the study, the authors applied a set of theoretical, practical and mathematical research methods, such as: a survey using semi-closed and closed questions, registration, rating assessment, data generalization, statistical data processing, mathematical data processing. The results of the study. The study showed that, from the point of view of teachers of educational organizations, business, role-playing, board and intellectual games are effective for career guidance and are in demand by them. More than 90% of respondents use gaming technologies in career guidance work with students, but about 8% of respondents never do it. Most of the survey participants note an average level of methodological competence in the field of using board games in career guidance work with students, more than 16% rate their level as low. Most of the survey participants note the average level of effectiveness of using board games in career guidance work with students, about 6% do not understand the importance of this pedagogical tool in career guidance work, however, more than 30% of teachers rate board games highly. The majority of respondents noted the insufficient or completely absent equipment of educational institutions with board career guidance games, as well as the need and demand for the use of a database of board career guidance games. Conclusion. Based on the results of the survey of teachers, the following recommendations were given: to ensure that educational organizations are equipped with sets of tabletop career guidance games; to expand and deepen teachers' ideas about the possibilities of using board games in career guidance work and increase their level of professional training in this area; to use board games more actively when organizing career guidance work in educational organizations; to create an up-to-date, constantly updated database these board career guidance games and provide access to it to all teachers of educational organizations.

USE OF INNOVATIVE METHODS IN IMPROVING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF STUDENTS

This graduation work is dedicated to the study of the methodology of aesthetic education of children in art-speech activities in the education of elementary school teachers. The main goal of the research is to improve the moral and spiritual education of elementary school teachers through artistic and speech activities, and to provide them with new methodological approaches that can be used in pedagogical activities.

Seminar Parenting: Mendidik Anak Dengan Keteladanan dan Cinta

The seminar "Educating Children with Exemplary Behavior and Love," held on August 11, 2024, at the Community Center RW 05, Kelurahan Sangiang Jaya, aimed to equip parents with knowledge about the importance of role modeling and affection in child education. The methods used included a presentation by a speaker and a question-and-answer session. The results of the seminar showed that consistent application of role modeling and affection can improve the parent-child relationship and enhance parenting effectiveness. The implications of these results highlight the need for parents to integrate these principles into their daily lives to support optimal child development. Participants explored the importance of being a good example in daily life and how role modeling can shape children’s character and behavior. Additionally, the seminar discussed how to create a loving environment that provides emotional support for children's psychological and social development. The seminar aimed to help parents build healthy and harmonious relationships with their children and prepare them to become empathetic and responsible individuals.

Sex Education For Elementary School Children In Indonesia; Bibliometric Analysis In 2021-2024

This study provides an overview of the analysis of sex education trends in elementary school children in Indonesia for the 2021-2024 period using bibliometric analysis, aiming to identify research gaps that have not been widely studied and provide recommendations for further research. The method used is systematic literature review by utilizing Vosviewer as a meta-data analysis tool. Data was obtained from a POP search on Google Scholar 2021-2024 with the keyword "sex education for elementary school children", resulting in 107 articles that were then selected. The selection was carried out based on relevant themes, leaving 40 selected articles that fit the Sinta category and the highest ranking. The results of the study show that the trend of sex education research in elementary school age children has great potential to increase children's understanding of reproductive health and healthy social relations, and there is also an increase in research on this topic every year. This study recommends further research to develop an effective and applicable sex education learning model in learning activities in elementary schools.

The Parental Involvement and Learning Media in Health Education for Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) affects social communication and behavior, requiring specialized approaches for health education. Parental involvement and the type of learning media play a significant role in health education outcomes for children with ASD. This study examines the relationship between parental involvement, learning media (digital vs. traditional), and health education outcomes for children with ASD. A cross-sectional study was conducted with 83 parents of children diagnosed with ASD. Data were collected through structured questionnaires assessing parental involvement and the type of learning media used. Bivariate analysis was performed to examine associations between these variables. Most parents (78.3%) were female, and 55.4% used digital learning media. Children with high parental involvement had significantly higher self-care scores (mean = 7.6, p< 0.01) compared to those with lower involvement (mean = 6.3). Digital media was more effective than traditional media, with children using digital tools showing a 30% increase in health knowledge (p= 0.02). The combination of high parental involvement and digital media use produced the best educational outcomes (mean = 8.1, p = 0.001). High parental involvement and the use of digital learning media are positively associated with better health education outcomes in children with ASD. Interventions targeting increased parental engagement and enhanced access to digital learning media could improve health education for children with ASD.

THE INTERACTION OF FAMILY AND SCHOOL IN THE PROCESS OF INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

The article highlights and discusses the successes achieved in the process of establishing inclusive education, the ways to overcome the obstacles, the importance of the role of the parent in the process of inclusive education of children with SEN, issues related to the implementation of family and school interaction, options for different forms and methods of school work with parents. The attitude of parents towards inclusive education has been studied, a conclusion is drawn about the insufficient development of professional abilities and skills of teachers and the low level of psychological and pedagogical knowledge and skills of parents. Attention is drawn to the development of the educational abilities of the family, the implementation of the process of acquiring pedagogical knowledge of parents, the need for targeted support to parents by specialists of educational institutions. Effective ways of organizing pedagogical cooperation between school and family and new opportunities for organizing inclusive education have been revealed, strengthening pedagogical cooperation between school and family.

Factors to Improve School Management and Social Science Student Learning Outcomes Through Cooperation with Parents

The curriculum expects parental involvement in their children's education. Actively involving parents in the learning process can improve student learning outcomes. But the fact is that many schools do not involve parents because of social gaps. It is urgent to study the gap between the expectation that parents are involved in schools and the fact that many schools do not involve parents. This study aims to determine the background of the parents studied and to provide a descriptive analysis of the school's cooperation with parents in stimulating them to be involved in their children's education. The research sample consisted of 285 parents of junior high school social studies students who were selected randomly. The study used quantitative data, collected through a questionnaire that was compiled and developed based on indicators. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics with the help of SPSS version 25.0 by calculating the mean, percentage, and standard deviation for each indicator and interpreting them. The results found a significant relationship between school and parent collaboration in improving their children's education. The more the parents feel that their presence is appreciated by the school, the greater their involvement in their children's education. The conclusion reached was that a sound relationship established by the school can encourage parents to be directly involved in various educational activities and important activities organized by the school.
