PELATIHAN DAN PEMBINAAN BAGI PENGUSAHA KECIL MIKRO DIBIDANG PARIWISATA DI KAWASAN PESISIR PANTAI CEMARA LEMBAR KABUPATEN LOMBOK BARAT

This training carried out a manifestation of the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education in the form of community service, the theme is "Training and Development of Entrepreneurship of based on local potential in cultivation for Tourism in Coastal Areas of Cemara Lembar, West Lombok Regency." The purpose of this research is to train micro-small entrepreneurs which includes: build a motivation in business, increase market access and prepare the small business community to adapt the uncertain environment.
 The method used in this training: speech to convey materials, question and answer, participants will be fostered by the community service implementation team.
 According to the observation during the training, almost all participants who attend the training gave a positive (good) responses to the training materials. Through training and coaching, participants show increasing knowledge, even though insignificant from the conditions before. Based on the results concluded that the important thing is the participants in this training are expected to be followed up with assistance, apprenticeship and comparative studies at successful entrepreneurs / companies

Digitalisasi Marketing Bagi Pelaku UMKM Kabupaten Blitar

The purpose of community service through this Doctoral Service Grant is to help market MSME products assisted by the Blitar Regency Livestock and Fisheries Service through the Triple-Helix model with the concept of e-commerce. The expected result is to expand the market of assisted MSME products in Blitar Regency produced by OPS Cooperative, Srikandi Kitchen, MuZa Smoked Salted Eggs and AKBest (Akademi Komunitas Negeri Putra Sang Fajar Blitar). The location of community service activities will be carried out in Blitar Regency from May to August 2022. The steps of the activity are: 1. Coordination to establish triple-helix cooperation 2. Improving the product image of MSMEs 3. Provide counseling on market share, knowing desires and recognizing potential customers 4. Providing online processed product promotion facilities 5. Providing skills about online transactions and the Canva application The result that has been obtained during the activity process is that parties in the triple-helix model can coordinate so that MSMEs are always informed of government programs. Canva application training and social media creation assistance can improve the product image of MSMEs and then also provide skills about market share, and potential consumers in addition to online transactions. The continuation of the program is still needed for assistance in order to maintain business motivation and improve product quality.

Marketing Support of Corporate Social Responsibility of Agri-Food Enterprises

The article considers the peculiarities of marketing support of corporate social responsibility of agri-food enterprises of Ukraine. The purpose of this study is to develop scientific positions to carry out the marketing support concept of corporate social responsibility of agri-food enterprises. Created positions will be directed toward building reliable partnerships with stakeholders. The logical architecture of realization of the concept of marketing support of corporate social responsibility of agrifood enterprises is formalized. The directions of harmonization of interests of business structures (stakeholders) and the state in the marketing support of corporate social responsibility of agri-food enterprises are presented. The graph-model of rational architecture of probabilistic time lag of profitability and competitiveness in the current business process of agri-food enterprises is structured. The three-level vector of realization of marketing programs of corporate social responsibility of the enterprises of agri-food production is defined. Economic indicators and the volume of expenditures on environmental and social aspects of agri-food enterprises in the range of Steppe, Forest-Steppe, Polissia and Western zones of Ukraine are analysed. Factors influencing the sustainable level of marketing support of corporate social responsibility, which increases the motivation and productivity of employees, business, and public reputation of enterprises in the agri-food sector of the economy and reduces the risk of market losses, are substantiated. It is proved that socio-economic development of ethnic communities in the Steppe, Forest-Steppe, Polissia and Western zones of Ukraine in the context of the concept of marketing support of corporate social responsibility is carried out through the implementation of environmental, motivational levers for health protection, education, cultural values, infrastructure and other social projects, that is, by increasing the flow of social investment

The Story of Corporate Social Responsibility: An Attribution Analysis of the Coverage of U.S. Corporate Responsibility Cases

ABSTRACT Applying media effects and attributions to news coverage of corporate social responsibility (CSR) issues, this content analysis examines recent CSR news in the United States. Results showed that the news media presented CSR activities positively with episodic events, offering proactive solutions to social problems, particularly when the media attributed CSR to corporate motives for social benefits. Opposing results were detected when the media inferred corporations’ business motives from CSR activities. Further, the general non-business media favorably described CSR cases with social motives and episodic events, whereas the business-specific media critically portrayed business motives and thematic issues behind CSR activities. Study implications are discussed.

Adaptation strategies of flood-damaged businesses in Germany

Flood risk management in Germany follows an integrative approach in which both private households and businesses can make an important contribution to reducing flood damage by implementing property-level adaptation measures. While the flood adaptation behavior of private households has already been widely researched, comparatively less attention has been paid to the adaptation strategies of businesses. However, their ability to cope with flood risk plays an important role in the social and economic development of a flood-prone region. Therefore, using quantitative survey data, this study aims to identify different strategies and adaptation drivers of 557 businesses damaged by a riverine flood in 2013 and 104 businesses damaged by pluvial or flash floods between 2014 and 2017. Our results indicate that a low perceived self-efficacy may be an important factor that can reduce the motivation of businesses to adapt to flood risk. Furthermore, property-owners tended to act more proactively than tenants. In addition, high experience with previous flood events and low perceived response costs could strengthen proactive adaptation behavior. These findings should be considered in business-tailored risk communication.

Qualitative Modeling of Broiler Farming with Partnership Pattern in Kabumen District

Broiler farming is a complex system involving various elements from upstream to downstream. This study aimed to determine the multiple factors and their relationship in broiler chicken farming with a partnership pattern. The research was conducted using a survey method. The samples were determined through census data of 76 open house, semi closed house and closed house farmers who are members of partnership patterns in Kebumen district. Data analysis was performed qualitatively using Causal Loop Diagram (CLD) modeling. The results showed that various factors influenced the broiler farming business with partnership patterns, such as the quality of cages (open house, semi closed house and closed house), farmer skills, technical know how, business motivation, willingness to follow programs, the effectiveness of information, power of investors, turnover, grade day old chick (DOC), output price, feed convension ratio (FCR), mortality, and bonus. This article extensively discussed the systemic linkage and relationship between these elements and how those interactions affected the performance in a broiler chicken farm with a partnership pattern.

Sustainability of Micro Business Actors during the COVID-19 Pandemic

This study aims to investigate the effect of leadership, business motivation, and compensation during the Covid-19 pandemic on business existence. This study was conducted in a traditional market in Lubuklinggau City, South Sumatra, Indonesia, with a population of 120 respondents from 1200 micro-enterprises. The validity and reliability tests of 36 samples were conducted using SPSS statistics and inferential analysis using the Amos 8.8 Structural Equation Model (SEM). It was found that leadership has a significant effect on business existence by 0.83, compensation has an effect on business existence by 0.17, and business motivation also affects business existence by 0.24. An important finding from this study is that these three variables together affect the existence of businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the leadership factor of microbusiness actors is more dominant in influencing the business's existence. Implementing awareness-based health protocols will also have a positive impact on tackling the Covid-19 pandemic. Improvement Managerial Ability Manager of Cendekia Lasem Vocational High School Unit Production

As a partner in this community dedication is the Unit Production of Cendekia Lasem Vocational High School. The problems faced by partner are (1) Low business motivation, (2) Not being able to arrange a business plan, and (3) Not having the ability to manage finances. Thus the implementation of this dedication Program is to improve the managerial ability of Cendekia Lasem Vocational School Unit Production Manager. The implementation methods used are training and mentoring. The results of the activity are (1) partners show a positive attitude to face opportunities and challenges in developing unit production, (2) partners are able to arrange a business plan so that they have an overview of the business to be carried out including activity plans to achieve business goals, and (3) partners are able to arrange financial report based Android so it can be easy to make financial reports.

Upaya Peningkatan Omset Penjualan UMKM melalui Penerapan Digital Marketing terhadap UMKM di Bekasi

Abstract: Purpose: To increase knowledge and digital marketing skills to increase MSME sales turnover. Research Methods: providing training in the form of lectures and creating digital media business accounts and managing media to market products. Results: Changes in participants' understanding of the importance of digital marketing as an effort to increase sales turnover, skills in creating business accounts, managing them, and increasing business motivation. Limitations: This activity has not been able to achieve the ideal target, there are limited time for implementation and the funds available for the activity. A STUDY ON WORKLIFE BALANCE AT ISPATIAL TECHNO SOLUTIONS –HYDERABAD

Work and life remain the two most principal areas in the life of a used single individual. There is a developing readiness in today’s workplaces that employees don’t surrender their lives just because they work. With the increasing differences of family structures spoke to in today’s workforce, especially with the creating standard of twofold profession families, the imperativeness of managing an employee’s work-life balance have expanded prominently in recent years. Managements understand that the possibility of an employee’s close to home and family life effects work quality and that there are solid business motivations to advertise work and non-work coordination. In this project, we battle that helping employees to achieve a work-life balance should transform into an essential bit of HR policy and system if it is to truly get the best from the association’s kin without forsaking them unsatisfied, exhausted and unfulfilled. ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF INTERNATIONAL TRADE POLICY ON THE INDONESIAN ECONOMY

This study aims to determine the efforts made by Indonesia in fighting for the Indonesian palm oil industry, as well as to describe the political and business motives that are the roots of the emergence of discriminatory resolutions. The method used is a qualitative approach. The object of this research is the policies and strategies in dealing with the black palm oil campaign carried out by the European Union Parliament. The data collection technique used is the Library Research Technique. According to the findings of this study, the European Union's claims are contradictory to the facts. Research demonstrates that the European Union denies a number of facts, focusing instead on Indonesia's errors as a protectionist tool. Indonesia has the right or authority to bring this issue into the realm of international law if the results of this research can be found with certainty and can be legally accounted for.

Level of Motivation and Adoption of Innovation at Pig Farming in Southwest Sumba Regency

The development of pig farming aims to support the economy of the people in the Southwest Sumba Regency. Pigs in this area have a very high cultural value, so they have promising potential and prospects in the future. The problem is that the maintenance system is still semi-extensive and tends to be traditional. This situation can be related to the motive in trying and efforts to adopt an innovation. This study aimed to analyze the level of motivation and the factors that influence the adoption of innovation in raising pigs. The research method used a survey method with direct observation in the field. They are determining the area using the multistage cluster random sampling method obtained from sample sub-districts, namely Tambolaka District (Tambolaka City and Wee Londa) and South Wewewa District (Tena Teke Village and Delo). The research material was 120 pig farmers taken by purposive random sampling. The measured variables include the motivation to raise livestock using a Likert scale and factors influencing innovation adoption using multiple linear regression tests. The software used is Eviews 10. The study results show that: 1) Most of the pig breeders in Southwest Sumba Regency are based on high economic, social, and entertainment motives in pig farming. 2) The regression results show that the variables that have a significant effect on the level of adoption with a prob value below the significant level of 0.05 are the variables of motivation and access to information. While the variables that have no significant effect on the level of innovation adoption with a prob value above the significant level of 0.05 are the variables of age, education level, family dependents, livestock experience, number of livestock, and accessibility. This study concludes that business motives and adoption of innovations affect the success or failure of pig-rearing businesses in the Southwest Sumba district.

The Impact of Business Motivation, Business Competition, and Brand Equity on Business Development with Religiosity as Moderating Variable (Case Study MSMEs Actors in Semarang District)

This study aimed to analyze the effect of business motivation, business competition, and brand equity on business development using religiosity as a moderating variable. This study uses quantitative methods that aim to confirm the data obtained in the field with existing theories. The object of research used is the perpetrators of the Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Semarang Regency with a sample of 100 respondents. As for the data collection technique using the questionnaire method. The data obtained were then tested using the SPSS 16 application and used multiple linear regression models and tests moderated regression analysis (MRA). The results showed that; (1) business motivation has no significant positive effect, (2) business co petition has a significant positive effect, (3) brand equity has no significant positive effect, (4) religiosity can moderate the relationship between business motivation and business development, (5) religiosity cannot moderate the relationship between business competition and business development, (6) religiosity cannot moderate the relationship between brand equity and business development

One regulator: diversified Shariah governance practices, why?

PurposeThe study aims to investigate the reasons behind the growing diverse practices of Shariah governance (SG) among Islamic banks in Bangladesh.Design/methodology/approachData has been collected through a semi-structured interview process from the concerned authorities (Shariah supervisory board members, Shariah department officers, central bank executives and banking professional experts) related to SG and Islamic banks in Bangladesh. The data has been analyzed by NVivo software.FindingsThe results of the study show that SG mechanisms are different due to the lack of unique comprehensive SG guidelines and the absence of a Centralized Shariah Supervisory Board (CSSB) under the Central Bank. The self-developed practices, the diversified opinions and viewpoints of the Board of Directors (BOD), banks' policies, business motivations and profit intention are also responsible for diversified SG practices. The diverse understandings and explanations of Shariah, Madhab (school of thought) and rulings are also responsible for the different practices of SG in Bangladesh.Research limitations/implicationsThe study has unique implications for the regulatory authorities and Islamic banks in Bangladesh. The study explored the diverse reasons for numerous applications of SG guidelines which will be beneficial for the central bank and regulators to resolve the issues by outlying unique SG guidelines.Originality/valueThis study outlines the reasons for dissimilar practices of SG by the Islamic banks in Bangladesh, which will be beneficial for Islamic banks and the central bank of Bangladesh.

Systematic Analysis of the Impact of Taxes on the Motivation and Tax Burden of Business

To analyze the impact of taxes on the motivation and tax burden of a business, the author developed a method based on the the theory of sensitivity, originally created for technical systems. Within the framework of this theory, we developed a tool to analyze the influence of various factors on the indicator under study in the form of sensitivity functions, which are partial derivatives of the dependence of the indicator on the influencing factors. With the help of these functions, we calculate the coefficients of influence, which allows the analysis of various scenarios of the development of events. While creating a tax policy and making managerial decisions, it is necessary to analyze the impact of taxes on the motivation and tax burden of a business. We proposed to use the coefficients of motivation and tax burden. The motivation coefficient shows how many kopecks from the ruble divided between the enterprise and the state goes to the enterprise, and the tax burden coefficient shows how much of this amount goes to the state. The study developed mathematical models corresponding to motivation and tax burden. It demonstrates how to calculate the determination of sensitivity functions and coefficients of influence and provides practical calculations of changes in motivation and tax burden depending on changes in tax rates both separately and simultaneously.

 Abstract : The Merdeka Campus Competition Program (PKKM) is a form of Merdeka Campus acceleration to encourage higher education transformation and innovation on the basis of study programs so that learning is 4.0. There are many problems and obstacles for MSMEs in developing to compete and differentiate products sold from products from outside Bangka Belitung. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out Community Service (PKM) activities to overcome this. PKM activities have been carried out to the COMMUNITIES of Air Anyir Village, Bangka Regency. Business Motivation Socialization Training The theme of this outreach is "Reviving the Spirit of Entrepreneurship". This training is carried out so that the residents of Air Anyir Village are able to record and receive money properly, manage business finances, business financial conditions, provide marketing management insight and also entrepreneurial knowledge to increase partner insight. Product Packaging Training With this training, it is hoped that this training will be useful for the residents of Air Anyir Village in increasing their knowledge and abilities about making packaging for a product.
 
 

Social Media and Student Entrepreneurial Behaviour in The New Normal Era

The global Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the Indonesian people's health, economic situation, education, and social life. The most visible impact is financial difficulties in the family, as the family economy is deteriorating as a result of different social limitations that disrupt community economic activity. Despite the economic slump, many students appear to be inspired to establish a business and succeed in earning money to help support their families' financial situation. This study uses qualitative approaches to investigate the effect of social media in student entrepreneurial behavior, with 31 students serving as informants who have created and run businesses since the pandemic hit Indonesia. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews, documentation studies and triangulation, with analytical techniques: Data Reduction, Data Display and Conclusion Drawing. All the results of the research data were processed using the data analysis technique of the Miles and Huberman model. The study's findings suggest that, in this digital age, social media may help students become great businesspeople who never give up, are confident, have mental-emotional resilience, can read possibilities and opportunities, and are always learning and increasing their knowledge. Students who create businesses are mostly motivated by a desire to help their families' financial situation, which is deteriorating. The implications of this research are:, in addition to generating business motivation, social media can assist business students in developing their businesses by promoting products, building relationships with consumers, suppliers, and competitors, as well as receiving direct feedback that can be used to improve product and service quality in a simple and relatively inexpensive manner. Obstacles include a lack of expertise and creative ability to develop fascinating content at the same time, as well as limitations imposed by society's value system, which restricts the amount of space available for commercial operations.

Dampak Motivasi Usaha Terhadap Kinerja Usaha Pada Industri Kulit Sukaregang Kabupaten Garut

There has been a lot of rapid growth in Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia in recent years. MSMEs are critical to the overall health of the national economy. They are responsible for creating jobs and generating profits, which in turn helps support other parts of the economy. The development of MSMEs is hoped to reduce the unemployment rate, which will result in an increase in people's purchasing power and growth in the country's economy.
 The purpose of the study is to see an overview of how business motivation and performance and the impact of business motivation on the performance of business actors. The population is 461 business actors. The sampling technique using the Slovin Formula was obtained by a sample of 81 people. The analysis method in this study uses descriptive and verificatif analysis consisting of regression analysis, correlation, coefficient of determination.
 The results of the descriptive analysis show that business motivation has a score of 81.36 which means that business actors have excellent business motivation with the lowest score on the expectation indicator and the highest score on the intensive indicator. As for the Business Performance variable, it has a score of 69.52 which means that business actors already have good business performance with the lowest score on the indicator of increasing sales and the highest score on the indicator of increasing profits. The results of the verificative analysis Business motivation has a significant effect on business performance in the Sukaregang Kulit Industry Center, Garut Regency. Good business motivation is needed to support business performance.

Cold grass or hot sands? A comparative study of immigrant Punjabi–Pakistani entrepreneurs in London and Dubai

AbstractThe purpose of this paper is to compare immigrant community's business start‐up experiences in ethnic enclaves of London (UK) and Dubai (UAE). The primary data were collected through 20 in‐depth semi‐structured interviews (10 from each country) identified through personal contact networks and snowball sampling approaches in each country. The data were collected from November 2020 to March 2021 and analyzed using the template analysis approach. The findings reveal positive and ambitious business start‐up motivations and experiences among a psychologically “transient” migrant community in the UAE, despite starting their business under stricter business start‐up regulations in comparison with the UK sample where adverse motivations for business start‐up were reported with negative business start‐up experiences among a “naturalized” migrant community with comparatively liberal business start‐up regulations. This study contributes to the empirical cross‐national studies in immigrant entrepreneurship and provides impetus to the mixed embeddedness model while also reviving the seminal works of Phizacklea and Ram as a continuation of a stagnant discourse on cross‐national ethnic entrepreneurship.

The Importance of Entrepreneurship Learning And Business Motivation Seminars To Increase The Desire To Be An Entrepreneur

Being an entrepreneur is very complicated, because there are many things that must be mastered, ranging from knowledge, expertise, marketing, management, to personal personality. So do not be surprised, people prefer to be employees. One way to become a business actor is to learn to do business, both theoretically and practically. In addition, to become a business actor, you must have a high self-confidence and enthusiasm, the way is by attending business motivation seminars or participating in entrepreneurial communities/forums. This study seeks to reveal the possibility of strengthening interest in entrepreneurship which is influenced by learning factors and attending entrepreneurship motivation seminars. To answer the research objectives, a scientific method was established, namely quantitative. The research subjects are startup business actors from among students in the Greater Jakarta area, who are currently building their businesses. The number of research samples was 150 people, which was obtained through distributing questionnaires on social media using the Google Forms application. The sampling technique uses simple randomization and data analysis uses regression statistics. The results showed that the desire for entrepreneurship was strengthened if knowledge and motivation about business increased, both in partial and simultaneous models. This explains that there is a positive trend, business actors are starting to find their way in business and enjoy being a businessman. Therefore, it is important for novice entrepreneurs to enrich themselves by learning a lot and getting business inspiration, which arouses the passion for entrepreneurship.
