The study of lobbying of business interests in public administration through the prism of international application practice is an extremely relevant research topic, especially the influence of lobbying on the decisions of legislative bodies, politics and the economy of the state. Since 1999, Ukrainian lawmakers have been trying to regulate the concept of "lobbying". The history includes more than ten bills, especially the process accelerated after the signing of the Association Agreement with the European Union in 2014. For a long time, our society did not accept the concept of "lobbyism", it was equated with abuse of power and corruption. In the scientific community, there is still a debate about the concept of "lobbyism". European countries, the United States and other democratic countries have successfully regulated lobbying, where lobbyists are currently legally engaged in their activities. The article highlights the results of the international practice of lobbying business interests in public administration. In 2000, about 2,600 European companies had representative offices in Brussels, of which a third were trading companies. The activities of lobbyists can be conventionally divided into the following groups: provision of exclusive services, external influence on decision-making (meeting with officials), internal influence on decision-making (participation in meetings of commissions on certain legislative changes), implementation measures (management and implementation of a certain program) . Lobbyists not only represent the interests of their clients, but also make a significant contribution to the formation of state policy. Each lobby group in its activities uses different approaches, styles and forms in achieving the goal. It should be noted that the most important problem faced by European lobbyists is the change in the balance of power between European institutions. The conducted research made it possible to systematize effective international practices of lobbying business interests in public administration and subsequently adapt them in our country. In order to effectively lobby business interests in public administration, taking into account the best international practices, it is necessary to develop innovative mechanisms and approaches of lobbying business interests in public administration, relying on the already existing experience of leading international lobbyists.
