In our country, vegetable sweet corn is grown mainly in the Krasnodar and Stavropol territories and the Rostov region; it is also cultivated in the Black Earth Region and in more northern regions, but in smaller volumes. Sweet corn is a relatively young subspecies that arose as a mutant between dentifrice and flint corn. Due to its biochemical characteristics, it is a very susceptible crop and is more damaged by pests and diseases compared to the usual one. A further increase in corn grain production is unthinkable without the widespread and comprehensive use of the latest scientific achievements, where the leading role undoubtedly belongs to new varieties and cultivation technologies. In the climatic conditions of the Rostov region, the biological characteristics of 4 hybrids of vegetable corn were studied: Early Golden F1, Sweet Nugget F1, Caramello F1 and Noa F1 and resource-saving technologies with the basics of biologization and greening of agriculture. Research has established that, on average, over the years of research, a high yield of cobs was obtained by the hybrids Caramello F1 - 14.42 t/ha and Noa F1 - 15.53 t/ha. Treatment of vegetative vegetable corn plants with biological preparations Albit and Rauactiv provided a significant increase in the yield of all studied hybrids.
