Analysis of Religious Studies: Getting to Know the Interpretation of the Al-Qur'an

The history of the Qur'an is needed by humans, there are life instructions that are needed by humans as a guide in living life. The instructions in the Qur'an do seem to be still general and global, therefore it needs interpretation, related to the many problems of interpretation so that it requires reference to the History of the Qur'an, understanding the methodology of interpretation, namely the tahlili method, the ijmali method, the muqarin method, and the maudlu'i method. and know the forms of interpretation of the Qur'an such as Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur, Tafsir bi ar-Ra'yi, Tafsir Isyari, as instructions and laws that exist in the Qur'an, because the Qur'an is passed down and intended for reasonable people. Tafsir is a variety of activities that seek to reveal human responses, reasoning, and ijtihad in order to reveal the most precise and clear meanings contained in the Qur'an so that humans can understand what the Qur'an explains both implicitly and expressly.

TELAAH KRITIS TERHADAP PENDEKATAN TAFSIR BI AL-MA’TSUR

Abstract: this article discusses the study of the approach of Tafsir bi Al-Ma’tsur which uses the method of interpretation of the Qur'an based on history which includes verse by verse, the interpretation of the verse with the sunnah of the Prophet and also the interpretation of the history of the companions and tabiin. As the Times began to emerge some differences of opinion related to the validity of the interpretation of bi Al-Ma'tsur, it should be emphasized that the interpretation of bi Al-Ma'tsur derived from the Qur'an and sunnah sahih assessed marfu’ and must be accepted. While those from the history of friends or tabiin are still disputed, whether they are accepted or not. Although it has many advantages in terms of the source of interpretation, but it can not be avoided and there must be weaknesses that this interpretation of Bil-Ma'tsur. The research method used in this discussion is literature. The urgency or the results of this study can critically examine the approach related to the interpretation of bil-Ma'tsur in which each interpretation has its own characteristics, both in terms of method, value, style, systematics of writing, opinions of scholars’ and so forth.

Metodologi Tafsir Mukhtasar

The purpose of this study is to analyze the methodology of mukhtasar interpretation. This research uses library research methods with descriptive qualitative methods used in collecting various information from turâts and contemporary books to examine the epistemology of mukhtasar interpretations found how to determine the criteria for mukhtasar interpretation. The three ways are; first by paying attention to the quantity of an interpretation. Second; analyzed from the content of the interpretation. Third, the provisions of the scholars in assessing it. In this study, it was also found that the interpretation of mukhtasar when viewed from the source side consists of two forms; tafsir mukhtasar bi al-ma'tsûr and tafsir mukhtasar bi ar-ra'yi. The main source of mukhtasar interpretation in addition to the sources previously mentioned is the parent interpretation, namely the interpretations summarized by the mufasir. In terms of method, mukhtasar interpretation is a category of ijmâliy interpretations that interpret verses concisely and easily understood with two models of interpretation; i.e. tafsir mukhtasar ibtidâ'iy or tafsir mukhtasar bizâtihi and tafsir mukhtasar which summarizes the parent interpretation or is named after the interpretation of mukhatsar min ghairihi.

KONSEP PENATAAN KELUARGA SAKINAH DALAM PERSPEKTIF FIQH MUNAKAHAT

This study describes the concept of sakinah family arrangement from the fiqh of munakahat perspective. In a sakinah household, it takes a partner who understands the duties, rights and obligations. This research is a literature study that uses documentation techniques to collect research data. While the analysis technique used is descriptive. After conducting an in-depth research study, it was concluded that the arrangement of the sakinah family in the perspective of fiqh munakahat has several principles, including the principle of freedom in choosing a partner, the principle of mawaddah wa rahmah (love and affection), the principle of complementing and protecting each other, and the principle of mu'asyarah bi al-ma'ruf. While the indicators of a sakinah family include the emergence of mutual understanding, mutual love, acceptance, respect and love between people who live in a family based on responsibility. It basically can create an atmosphere of harmony and harmony in a household.

OMBUDSMAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF FIQH SIYASAH

This article contains the Islamic system of government, judicial power (Al-Qada), divided into three regions: Willayat al-Mazalim, Willayat al-Mazalim, and Willayat al-Hisba. Wilayat al-Mazalim is a power in the field of justice which is higher than the power of judges from the power of Muhtasib. This body examines matters that are not within the jurisdiction of ordinary judges. The agency investigates cases of abuse carried out by rulers, judges, or children of powerful people. In this study, the role of institutional control is very important in the study of Siyasah Fiqh. Without supervision, the government will not function. In this regard it has also been shown that the meaning of custodian of the state is found in the Qur'an to refer to a "group of people" who perform the supervisory function, namely al-amr bi al-ma`rufwaal. -nah'yanal-munkar. Hisbah is a contrived task performed by rulers and thus custodians of fiqh. Wilayat al-Hisbah is responsible for safeguarding the truth and preventing evil.

METODE TAFSIR M. YUNAN YUSUF DALAM SURAH AL-MULK PADA TAFSIR KHULUQUN ‘AZHIM

Indonesian Tafsir studies is growing and developing since 16 th century. This article discribes the methodology of tafsīr Juz Tabarak Khuluqun Azhīm written by M. Yunan Yusuf its sources, methods, styles and genre. This type of research is literature, using descriptive analytical which seeks to provide solutions to problems by collecting data, compiling, and analyzing. The results of this study explain that the source of this interpretation falls into the category of a combination of the bi al-Ma'sur or bi al-Ra'yī tafsir and munāsabah āyat al-Qur'an. Yunan interprets al-Qur'an critically and firmly with philosophical colors, and is able to convey the message of al-Qur'an verses through other al-Qur'an verses (munāsabah al-Qur'ān bi al-Qur'ān). This interpretation uses the analytical method (tahlīlī), the philosophical style and the scholastic genre.

Tafsir Bi al-Ma'tsur: Concepts and Methodology

Islam as a samawi religion provides 2 sources for its followers, namely the Qur’an and hadith, understanding the Qur’an as a source in Islam requires a process of interpretation of one of the sciences that develops in the process of interpretation. al-Qur’an is the interpretation of bi al-ma’tsur, how the concept of understanding, development, and method of interpretation are, these three things are the focus of research in this study. This research is a literature review with a qualitative descriptive approach. The results of the discussion provide an overview, first, etymologically the word bi al-ma’tsur is taken from one of the words in Arabic, with the definition of understanding as a pattern of interpretation that uses riwayah, second, the development of bi al-ma’tsur interpretation begins with the process of narration of the Qur’an and hadith up to the accounting period, third, the method of interpretation of the bi al-ma’tsur elements riwayah in interpreting the verses of the Qur’an.

Diskursus Tafsir bi al-Ma’tsur

This research explores Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur, or Qur'an interpretation via history. This qualitative research method uses literature and historical interpretation. This paper discusses the history of Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur, its restrictions, and scholarly disagreements over it. This study finds that Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur is an interpretation based on Qur'anic verses, the Prophet Muhammad's viewpoints, companions, and scholars, commencing with the interpretation of Qur'anic verses with Qur'anic verses. 'an, the Qur'an's hadith, the Companions' atsar, and the Tabi'in's view. The Qur'an must be interpreted using a manner agreed upon by scholars to be in compliance with Shari'a. If the interpretation is done honestly and according to the manner approved by the commentators, it will obtain two rewards from Allah SWT if it's accurate, but only one if it's wrong, according to the Prophet SAW's statements on Ijtihad. This research should aid Qur'an scholars and interpreters. This research explains Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur-related issues. This research offers a complete review of all western scientists' perspectives of Qur'anic exegesis literature to update our knowledge of Tafsir bi al-Ma'tsur.

THE IDEA OF GASSĀN HAMDŪN IN THE BOOK TAFSĪR MIN NASAMĀT AL-QUR'ĀN KALIMĀT WA BAYĀN

The purpose of this study is to find out the Idea of Gassan Hamdun in the book of Tafsir Min Nasamat al-Qur'an Kalimat wa Bayan which relates to interpretation techniques, writing systematics and their characteristics, advantages and disadvantages of the book. The results of this study show that Gassan Hamdun used the Ijmali method in interpreting verses from the Qur'an by being sourced from the tafsir bi al-ma'syour and other major tafsir books such as Tafsir Jalalain Tafsir Imam Nasafi, Tafsir Al-Alusi, Tafsir Ibn Kasir, Al-Jami' Li Ahkam al-Qur'an " by Imam Qurtubi tafsir "Fi Zilal al-Qur'an" by Sayyid Qutub. According to Gassan Hamdun the source of the interpretation of bi alma's}youris the most correct compared to other sources of variation, although he also made the book of interpretation bi al-ra'yi al mahmud, which is an interpretation that relies on ijtihad as the source of his understanding, such as the interpretation of al-Alusi. Gassan Hamdun presents a book of performances in which each arrangement uses a specific formula and code. This formula and code are the form initials of the letters, which aims to make it easier for the reader to know the reference to his interpretation and save the writing in his book to produce a beautiful book to read.

KRAKTERISTIK TAFSIR NUSANTARA DALAM KITAB TAFSIR AL-QUR’AN AL’AZHIM KARYA RADEN PENGHULU TABSHIR ANAM V

Tafsir is a process to understand the meaning contained in the Qur'an. One of the interpretations is Tafsir al-Qur'an al-'Azhim. This interpretation is the work of the Nusantara cleric Raden Pengulu Tabshir Anam V. This paper is examined with a theoretical framework of approaches in the study of interpretation. What is meant by the approach method is the mindset (al-Ittijah al-Fikri) used to discuss a problem in an interpretation. Then it can be concluded that the method used by Raden Pengulu Tabshir Anam V in his interpretation is when viewed in terms of the source of his interpretation, namely using the bi al-ma'tsur method. If viewed from the perspective of how the explanation is included in the bayaani method / description. As for when viewed in terms of the breadth of the explanation of the interpretation, including using the Ijmali method. And when viewed from the point of view of the goals and order of the verse, it includes the Tahlili method.

Application of Ijmālī Method In Exegesis (Sharḥ) The Hadith of The Prophet: Analysis of the Book of Hadith using the Ijmālī Method

The Ijmālī method in interpreting hadith or Sharḥ hadith is an old method for interpreting the Qur'an as done by previous scholars. This Ijmālī method includes a method that does not require a fairly in-depth discussion of the hadith, but the sharah of the hadith is sufficient globally and is only general in nature. This article aims to explain the sharah of hadith by using the Ijmālī method as a method of discussing interpretations. This article is a library research. The results showed that the application of this method using a language approach, then briefly using another hadith with the same narrator as bi al-ma'na, discussed the meaning globally and not in depth. For this reason, supporting sciences such as language, 'Ulumul Qurān, and 'Ulumul Hadith are needed for someone who is called a scholar to explain the Sharḥ of hadith, such as riwāyah science and Dirāyah science as well as Gharīb al-Ḥad Science in Ma'āni al-Ḥadīṡ Science. The disadvantage of the Ijmālī Method is that someone who wants to explore the meaning of hadith cannot gain deep and thorough knowledge

Kaidah Fi Wadihi Dilalah Dalam Tafsir At Tabari

The methods used by Muslims in understanding divine revelation are very diverse. Various methods have been devised by humans in order to understand the Qur'an as a book of guidance from Allah, ranging from the classical to the contemporary. Among the books of interpretation produced by ancient scholars is Tafsir At Tabari, this interpretation is seen as one of the pioneers in the world of interpretation science and is seen as the first interpretation that interprets the Qur'an in its entirety from the Surah Al -Fatihah until the letter An-Nas which reached us with a bi al-ma'thur approach which was accompanied by analysis.
 Among the main points of study of scholars in Arabic literature is discussing the pronunciations that cover various aspects of it. In general, pronunciations can be seen from four aspects that both have special studies. First, the aspect of making pronunciation. Second, its use in meaning. Third, the designation of the pronunciation for a meaning involves its clarity and vagueness. And lastly, the way it is pointed to meaning. In fact, there are pronunciations or sentences that are easy to understand and some are difficult. Both are popular with the terms Wadih ad-Dalalah (obvious) and Khafi al-Dalalah (disguised). And each category consists of four sections.

THE DOMESTIC RIGHTS OF THE WIFE (Viewed from KH. Husein Muhammad's Thoughts)

As the queen of the family, the wife is a determinant of household harmony who understands every detail of her domestic realm. But in fact, several social traditions and norms under the guise of religion limit the space for wives to move in their palaces. This study aims to reveal Husein Muhammad's thoughts on domestic rights in the household and to analyze his mindset in doing istinbath. The method used is literature study in the study of thought. This descriptive qualitative research used the main data sources in the form of two books by Kyai Husein, namely: (1) Women's Fiqh: Kyai's Reflections on the Interpretation of Religious and Gender Discourses published by LKiS in 2019; and (2) Islam, Religion Friendly to Women: Defending Kyai Pesantren, published by LKiS in 2009. Data collection techniques tend to be qualitative with literature documentation techniques. Therefore, an analysis of Kyai Husein's istinbath mindset was carried out using a deductive mindset approach. The results of this study are: (1) The wife has several domestic rights in the household, including the right to support, the right to be the head of the household, the right to express an opinion, the right to mu'asyarah bi al-ma'ruf, and the right to get health services; (2) The mindset of Kyai Husein Muhammad in determining legal istinbath departs from the postulates of sharia with cultural contextualization which then gave birth to the principles of justice and human equality, the concept of sharia as a cultural reflection, and emancipatory jurisprudence.

AL-SUYŪṬĪ WA ITTIJᾹHᾹTUH ILᾹ AL-TAFSĪR AL-‘ILMĪ DIRᾹSAH ‘ALᾹ TAFSĪR ᾹYᾹT AL-WABᾹ

This article discusses the tendency of Tafsīr 'Ilmī in Imam Suyuti's interpretation of the plague verses. Interestingly, as a classical commentator, he interprets the plague verses in his commentary books using the traditions of the Prophet (naqli), but he explains about the plague in addition to his commentary books by referring to the interpretation of the plague verses which are supported by scientific data. To analyze the tendency of this interpretation (ittijāh al-tafsīr), the researcher uses the theory of scientific interpretation. This research is qualitative in nature and uses content analysis methods, especially the istiqra (inductive) method. The istiqra method is used to analyze his interpretation of the plague verses that are spread in his commentaries and his books on epidemics and medicine. The purpose of this study is to reveal the indications of the trend of scientific interpretation explored by Imam Suyūt}ī in his books on epidemics and medicine by referring to his interpretations in his commentary books, so this research is urgent to confirm the historical roots and dynamics of Tafsīr 'Ilmī, whose epistemological tendency has emerged in the era of classical scholars. The results of this study are, first, in general, the method of interpretation of Imam Suyūt}ī is bi al-ma'ṣūr. Second, Imam Suyūtī's interpretation of the plague verses in Ṭā'ūn and medical themed books tends to 'Ilmi' Tafsir in terms of a more scientific explanation of the narrations that are in accordance with science, medical and socio-historical. Third, the scientific tendency in Imam Suyūt}ī's interpretation is in historical and medical.

BELENGGU RASIONALITAS DALAM TAFSĪR BI AL-MA’THŪR

The Interpretation with transmitted text (riwāyah) which uses to get meaning far away from the influence of ratio (al-ra'y) still cannot occur. Various different narrations for interpreting the same verse in the exegesis via narration (al-tafsīr bi al-ma'thūr) can be evidence of the use of ijtihad in that interpretation model. In this context, this study aims to find evidence and reconceptualize the terms to prove the existence ratio on exegesis via narration. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of study that uses literature research and uses content analysis as an analytical tool. This study finds that the interpreters in the category of exegesis via narration used ratio in the form of transmitted text selection to strengthen the meaning desired. The unawareness of the existence of rationality in the exegesis via narration is caused by the confusion of the terms used which are borrowed from the term of hadith study (muṣṭalah al-ḥadīth). Based on this, this study proposes to redefine that term to illustrate that dichotomy does not refer to the use of transmitted text or ratios in interpretation, but that dichotomy occurs from the proximity of the resulting message to the literal meaning content in interpretation.

KECERDASAN HISBAH SOSIAL DAN KEMENJADIAN MURID SEKOLAH MENENGAH

Hisbah is self and social control over the obedience to all the commands of Allah SWT, namely al-amr bi al-ma’ruf wa al-nahy ‘an al-munkar. This study aims to identify the components and levels of social accountability and student development from a moral aspect. The purpose of this study is also to identify the relationship of social hisbah intelligence in shaping the well-being of secondary school students. This study uses a quantitative method involving 281 students. The research instrument used is a questionnaire containing 55 items, consisting of three main parts, namely the background of students, social intelligence, and student development. Data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using percentage, frequency, mean score, standard deviation, t-test, and Pearson correlation. Overall, the findings of the study showed that the average mean score was at a high level for the level of social ratio (mean = 4.17) and student achievement (mean = 3.73). The results of correlation analysis showed that there was a significant relationship between social intelligence (r = 0.439, p <0.01) with the well-being of high school students. The study can be used as a guide by relevant parties including students, parents, teachers, schools, and the community to control and improve the intelligence of social hisbah which aims to shape the personality of pious people who implement al-amr bi al-ma’ruf wa al-nahy ‘an al-munkar.

TAFSĪR AL-QURAN DENGAN AL-QURAN

This paper describes the interpretation of the Koran with the Koran which is the earliest method of interpretation to emerge and develop. The interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an is one type of interpretation bi al-ma'thūr which includes the interpretation and the interpreter. This type of interpretation is not filled with falsehood, because the source is directly from Allah SWT. The method used in this paper is descriptive analytic method. The interpretation of the Qur'an with the Qur'an uses several methods; Mujmal and Mubayyan (al-Ijmāl wa al-Bayān); Al-Muṭlaq and al-Muqayyad; Takhṣīṣ al'-Ām; Al-Bayān bil-Manṭūq aw bil-Mafhūm; Tafsr Lafzi bi-Lafzi; Tafsr Ma'nā with Ma'nā; Tafsr Uslūb fī yatin bi Uslbi fī yatin al-Ukhrā; Tabyīn al-Mūjaz bil-Mufaṣal; Al-jam'u Baina mā Yatawahhama Annahu Mukhtalif.

Menelisik Corak Khas Penafsiran Nusantara (Studi Kasus Tafsir Mara>h Labi>d Karya Syaikh Nawawi al-Bantani)

The archipelago has a lot of ‘ulama’ with a distinctive scientific understanding, including in the field of interpretation. One of the scholars of the archipelago whose knowledge is recognized by the world in the field of interpretation is Shaykh Nawawi Al-Bantani. His work, the book Marah Labi>d, has a distinctive Indonesian style in peeling and interpreting the contents of the verses of the Qur’an. This paper seeks to examine the distinctive features of the interpretation of the archipelago in the book by using the literature study method. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that Tafsi>r Mara>h Labi>d combines the use of ijma>li (global) and tahlili> (analysis) interpretation methods at the same time. Where Shaykh Nawawi at the beginning of the discussion interprets as briefly as possible the contents of the new verse or letter then interprets it in detail starting from the description of the meaning of vocabulary, muna>sabah, asba>b nuzul, variety of qira’a>t, to related narrations. Shaykh Nawawi also uses the muqa>ranah (comparative) method when interpreting the ahka>m verse by expressing differences in the opinions of the ulama’ and comparing them without fanaticism and criticism of schools that are different from the Shafi’i school that he adheres to. In addition, Shaykh Nawawi also combines tafsi>r bi al-ma’tsu>r with tafsi>r bi al-ra’y al-mahmu>d in the Mara>h Labi>d book.

The Tafsīr Bi Al-Ma’ṡūr and Bi Al-Ra’yī in The Commentary of Abū Ja’far Al- Ṭaḥāwī

This study aims to investigate the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī in the commentary of Abū Ja’far al-Ṭaḥāwī and its application methods. This study employed analytical descriptive method by employing content analysis theory towards the commentary of Aḥkām Al-Qur’ān Al-Karīm. The results suggest that Al-Ṭaḥāwī incorporates the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī in his commentary although the general style is still the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr. Al- Ṭaḥāwī has his own method in implementing the tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr and bi al-ra’yī. Among his methods in tafsīr bi al-ma’ṡūr is to compromise amongst narrations if it is possible, select and scientifically criticize the narrations, no comment, and avoid rejected Isrāiliyyāt narrations and false hadiṡ, unlike the commentary of al-Ṭabari. It is possible due to the differences of character between these two commentaries. Meanwhile, his method in tafsīr bi al-ra’yī is to reconcile both reasons and narrations in balance and equally important, avoid reasons outside their domain, interpret mutasyābihāt with muḥkamāt, and avoid wrong interpretation. Therefore, al-Ṭaḥāwī’s commentaries have been based on correct principles.
