METODE TAFSIR M. YUNAN YUSUF DALAM SURAH AL-MULK PADA TAFSIR KHULUQUN ‘AZHIM

Abstract

Indonesian Tafsir studies is growing and developing since 16 th century. This article discribes the methodology of tafsīr Juz Tabarak Khuluqun Azhīm written by M. Yunan Yusuf its sources, methods, styles and genre. This type of research is literature, using descriptive analytical which seeks to provide solutions to problems by collecting data, compiling, and analyzing. The results of this study explain that the source of this interpretation falls into the category of a combination of the bi al-Ma'sur or bi al-Ra'yī tafsir and munāsabah āyat al-Qur'an. Yunan interprets al-Qur'an critically and firmly with philosophical colors, and is able to convey the message of al-Qur'an verses through other al-Qur'an verses (munāsabah al-Qur'ān bi al-Qur'ān). This interpretation uses the analytical method (tahlīlī), the philosophical style and the scholastic genre.
