Geographically Weighted Regression Modeling with Adaptive Gaussian Kernel Weighting on GRDP in Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to determine the variables that affect Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in Indonesia in 2022 using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) with Adaptive Gaussian kernel weighting function. The data used in this study uses secondary data taken from the website of the Central Bureau of Statistics. The variables used are gross regional domestic product of 34 provinces in Indonesia (Y, in billion rupiah), labor force participation rate (X1, in %), foreign investment (X2, in million dollars), open unemployment rate (X3, in %) and human development index (X4, in %). Data were analyzed using GWR with adaptive gaussian kernel weighting function. GRDP in all provinces on the island of Sumatra (11 provinces), DKI Jakarta province, Banten province, and West Kalimantan province are influenced by foreign investment (X2) and human development index (X4). Meanwhile, GRDP in the other 19 provinces is only influenced by foreign investment (X2). GWR model with adaptive gaussian kernel weighting function is formed differently for each province in Indonesia. Keywords: Adaptive gaussian kernel; GWR; gross regional domestic product

The Influence of Store Atmosphere on Purchasing Decisions and Visitor Satisfaction as an Intervening Variable at Kopi Praja Bintaro, South Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia

This research aims to determine the effect of store atmosphere on purchasing decisions and visitor satisfaction as an intervening variable at Kopi Praja Bintaro, South Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with path analysis using Accidental Sampling; the sample size is 100 respondents. The data collection technique is by distributing questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1 to 5. The research results show: (1) The shop atmosphere has a significant effect on visitor satisfaction; (2) Visitor satisfaction has a significant effect on purchasing decisions; (3) The store atmosphere has a significant effect on purchasing decisions through visitor satisfaction. The atmosphere at Kopi Praja Bintaro South Tangerang creates a positive experience for visitors that is comfortable, friendly, and satisfying. This increases customer satisfaction, builds long-term relationships, and expands the popularity of these places in the local community. It is essential to maintain a friendly and fun atmosphere with staff peering in and giving open feedback to improve the quality of service.

INFLUENCE OF REGIONAL GOVERNMENT (PEMDA) CHARACTERISTICS ON AUDIT OPINION WITH REGIONAL GOVERNMENT (PEMDA) FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE AS A MEDIATION VARIABLE

Purpose - With local government financial performance serving as a mediating variable, this study intends to investigate the impact of local government characteristics, whose indicators are the degree of reliance and audit results on audit opinions Design/methodology/approach - The Regency/City Government in Banten Province from 2018 to 2021 serves as the study's population. In this investigation, 8 samples were evaluated using the saturation sampling technique. The financial reports of each PEMDA, whose information was collected from the Banten Province Representative Office of the Financial Audit Board (BPK), served as the source of the data for this study. Logistic regression analysis and mediation regression analysis were the analytical techniques employed in this investigation Finding - The outcomes of this study suggest that the amount of reliance and audit findings have a favorable effect on audit opinion, but that this effect is stronger when measured using financial performance as a mediating variable. Spatial and Temporal Variations in Land Surface Temperature as an Indicator of Learning Comfort Level in Banten Province

Increasing population and rapid development of built-up land can cause an increase in land surface temperature. These changes are often associated with many factors, including changes in land use, and surface parameters, economic development, and vegetation. This research aims to analyze the temperature factor as an indicator of indoor thermal comfort to support the learning process in schools in the Banten Province area. This research uses a spatial temporal approach with descriptive statistical analysis. Based on the results, show that the land surface temperature at each school location in Banten province shows conditions that are not constant. The number of schools with uncomfortable conditions varies from 2019 (89.07%), 2020 (42.65%), 2021 (45.66%), 2022 (82.66%), and 2023 (52.44%). This shows that there has been a decrease in uncomfortable conditions for studying by 36.63% in the last 5 years.

Banten Province has a number of dams that have the potential to be developed as micro hydro-based renewable energy centers. Micro hydro is a technology that utilizes water flow to produce electricity on a small scale, ideal for areas with abundant water resources. The dam in Banten, which was originally built for irrigation, flood control and raw water supply, can be optimized to produce environmentally friendly electrical energy. This research uses literature study methods and secondary data analysis to evaluate the potential of dams in Banten as a micro hydro renewable energy center. The data used includes official reports, scientific publications, and data from government agencies. The analysis includes evaluation of flow capacity and water fall height, as well as the environmental impact of implementing micro hydro technology. The research results show that several dams in Banten have adequate flow capacity and water fall height to support micro hydro installations. The environmental impact of micro hydro installations can be minimized by implementing existing best practices. Micro hydro development in Banten dams can reduce dependence on fossil energy and support the national renewable energy mix target. This research recommends the development of supportive policies and the participation of local communities to realize this potential. In this way, the dam in Banten can be transformed into a renewable energy center that contributes significantly to energy security and environmental sustainability in Indonesia.

Community empowerment for environmental and social improvement in Panancangan Village, Lebak, Banten [Pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam rangka peningkatan ekonomi dan sosial di Desa Panancangan, Lebak, Banten

Panancangan Village is located in Cibadak Sub-District, Lebak District, Banten Province. Several village residents had professions as oyster mushroom farmers and the results of cultivating these mushrooms could provide residents with an income of IDR 11,000 per kilo. During initial observations, the community empowerment team found that there were two main problems. The first was environmental problem. The environment around the village office looked barren and the air around the village feels very hot during the day. The second was social problem. Lack of residents’ skills and knowledge in the fields of mushroom management and food packaging, product marketing, and entrepreneurship, causes farmers to only sell their mushrooms in raw form. The objectives of this community service are providing education to village residents to increase environmental conservation awareness and increasing social development through training and education. Method used is through training both non-practical and practical training in plant cultivation and oyster mushroom management, food packaging, marketing, and entrepreneurship. The evaluation results showed that the training was effective and provided positive benefits for environmental and social improvements.

Design of drought early warning system based on standardized precipitation index prediction using hybrid ARIMA-MLP in Banten province

Drought Early Warning System (DEWS) is an effort to disseminate early warning information based on climate and hydrology aspects. The DEWS design uses ARIMA, MLP, and hybrid ARIMA-MLP models to predict drought based on SPI for 1, 3, and 6 months. Predictions were made using ERA5 monthly rainfall data from 1981-2022 corrected based on observation data on 9 grids of observation rain gauges in Banten Province. The design of the ARIMA model is determined by selecting the combination of p and q parameters with the lowest AIC value, while the MLP architecture is determined by referring to the study literature and by trial and error testing. ARIMA models and hybrid models are not able to follow actual data fluctuations and have high error values in both SPI1, SPI3, and SPI6, so they are not recommended in this study. The MLP model has the best prediction ability, namely in SPI6 prediction with NSE value reaching >0.5 and RMSE value.

Comparison of Methods for Applying the Data Mining Clustering Concept to Banten Provincial Government Poverty Data: Systematic Review

An in-depth understanding of the phenomenon of poverty in Banten Province is the key to formulating effective strategies in overcoming this problem. In general, poverty in this area is caused by several interrelated and complex factors. This research provides a comparative analysis of the application of clustering data mining methods in calculating population poverty data in certain regions or provinces, especially Banten. This research aims to assess the consistency and effectiveness of various clustering methods used in previous research. Using a qualitative approach with a literature review, secondary data from relevant research was collected through systematic searching, reading, and note-taking. The data collected is then carried out through a process of data collection, filtering, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results show that most of the literature reviews show similar results regarding the effectiveness of various clustering methods in analyzing poverty data in Banten. This shows that there is a consensus among previous studies regarding the efficacy of clustering data mining techniques in overcoming problems related to poverty in the region. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the methodology used in poverty analysis and provide insights for policy makers and researchers to develop more effective strategies in poverty alleviation efforts. The conclusion of this research is that clustering data mining in analyzing poverty data in Banten Province has shown quite high consistency and effectiveness. Various literature studies that have been reviewed show that various clustering methods that have been applied previously provide similar results in identifying poverty patterns, understanding socio-economic structures, and providing valuable insights for developing more targeted policies.

Development of Science Literacy Through Group Choice STEM-PjBL Projects Integrated with Matter State Changes

This research focuses on the development of students' science literacy in the topic of matter state changes at the primary school level. It utilizes Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - Project-Based Learning (STEM-PjBL) as a holistic integrative learning approach, supporting 21st-century skills. The meaningful learning design is crafted to help students understand the material while applying their understanding to a simple project appropriate for primary school students' cognitive levels. The study was conducted in a fifth-grade class at an educational unit in Tangerang City, Banten Province, Indonesia. Using a qualitative research method, data was collected through interviews, observations, reflective journals, and researchers' notes. The STEM-PjBL learning stages included reflection, research, discovery, application, and communication. The Shwartz assessment was developed as an instrument to evaluate students' science literacy abilities. The results show that implementing the STEM-PjBL approach promotes student-centered learning, builds group cooperation, is enjoyable, and develops students' science literacy. Students worked in groups on their chosen projects related to the topic of matter state changes. The average project score for each group received an A rating in completing the STEM-PjBL project. Interdisciplinary learning can encourage students to understand the characteristics and concepts of a theory and relate them to everyday life, thereby impacting their understanding and project development.

Pemeriksaan Serta Pemeliharaan Pada Rel 1 Bay Saketi

This research aims to find out about the main substation, good rails (busbars) in the substation system, and inspection and maintenance of the 1 bay Saketi rail. The place and time for industrial practice is carried out at PT. PLN Persero ULTG Rangkasbitung Jl. Rawasari, West Rangkasbitung, District. Rangkasbitung District. Lebak, Banten Province. The implementation time is from 28 November to 28 December 2022 with 5 working days. In this research it was found that rails (busbars) require protection if used in open areas. This avoids a short circuit if a metal object falls on the positive or negative busbar. At one substation there are several types of busbar configurations, including: (1) single bus; (2) double bus-double breaker; (3) main and transfer buses; (4) double bus-single breaker; (5) ring bus; and (6) break and a half.

Curriculum Development Management in Islamic Boarding Schools: Effective Strategies in Countering Radicalism

This research analyzes effective managerial strategies in developing Islamic boarding school curricula to prevent radicalism. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach focusing on two Islamic boarding schools in Banten Province: Al-Mizan Cikole and Daar Falah Mandalawangi. Data was collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis with stages of reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results show that the curriculum implemented is integrative, comprehensive, and independent, fostering positive interactions between students, teachers (ustadz), and religious leaders (kyai) in the Islamic boarding school community. Kyai and their administrators serve as role models, and mosques act as centers of activity where no radical ideology is taught or spread. Curriculum planning and content reflect collective efforts to prevent radicalism, providing significant benefits to the quality of education in Islamic boarding schools. The management program for curriculum development to prevent internal and external radicalism has been implemented and carried out systematically from primary education to higher education. It is recommended that the integrative and comprehensive curriculum approach be maintained and continuously improved. Regular training and workshops for teachers and kyai should improve their anti-radicalism education skills. Collaboration with experts and external institutions must be fostered to enrich the curriculum with diverse perspectives. A continuous monitoring and evaluation mechanism must be established to assess the effectiveness of the curriculum in preventing radicalism and make necessary adjustments.

The effect of the implementation of quick responses indonesia standard (qris) on public purchase interest in the Lama market of Serang City

The QRIS implementation system policy is contained in the Board of Governors Regulation Number 21/18/PADG/2019 concerning the Implementation of the Quick Response Code National Standard for payments, which explains that QRIS transactions are directed to be in line with the Banten Provincial Government program, namely SIAP QRIS. Banten region occupies the top 5 positions as the province with the most QRIS users. One of these SIAP QRIS programs is focused on the Lama market of Serang City. A descriptive quantitative method was used in conducting this research. This research also has a limitation, namely in discussing how much influence the QRIS application has on buying interest. It is carried out on the population of Serang City, which has a total of 730,530 people. A sample was drawn using the Slovin formula with an MoR of 10%, namely 100 respondents. This study also aims to prove the influence of applying QRIS on buying interest. The determination of respondents is carried out as one of the instruments, namely using the purposive sampling technique. The results obtained based on field findings and the calculation results show that the Lama market in terms of provision has not been maximized, but the payment method is very reliable. It can be seen in the final calculation results that the variable (x) QRIS application and the variable (y) purchase interest influence 28.3%. In addition, variable (x) and variable (y) show a strong correlation indicated by the acquisition of a Pearson Correlation value of 0.532.

Legal Politics of Financial Relations between the Central and Regional Governments: Natural Resource Utilization

Population growth and welfare development in each province, particularly Banten, have been inadequately supported by the management of natural resources. In fact, such condition prevalent across Indonesia. Accordingly, the study aims to investigate the regulation of central and regional relations under Law Number 1 of 2022; Financial Relations between the Central and Regional Governments, as well as their Ideal Format based on Natural Resource Utilization in Banten province. The study employed normative juridical methods, involving a statutory approach. The study took place in Banten Province. The findings are, the financial administration system, regulating central and regional relations, is law number 1 of 2022; financial relations between central and regional governments, which provide regional income sources, manage transfers to regions, manage regional expenditure, give authority to carry out financing regions, and implement national fiscal policy synergies in a fair, transparent, accountable and harmonious manner. Framework of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, optimal structure of central and regional relations--the utilization of natural resources in Banten Province. In particular, the management of natural and other resources, as stated in the Profit Sharing Fund layout, which is standardized in the law on central and regional financial relations, is referred as implementing regional autonomy through a clustering mechanism between regions, while considering the ecological and conditional factors (economic, social and political conditions). To summarize, harmonization and coordination between central and Banten provincial government is highly required. In addition, Banten provincial government should immediately issue derivative regulations to facilitate policy implementation.

Contribution of Attitude, Motivation and Learning Strategy to the Achievement of Grade II Junior High School in Districts Throughout Banten Province

This study aims to: 1) determine the contribution of attitude to student learning achievement, 2) determine the contribution of motivation to student learning achievement, 3) determine the contribution of learning strategies to student learning achievement, 4) determine the contribution of attitude, motivation and learning strategies to student learning achievement. The independent variables in this study are attitude, learning motivation, and learning strategies. While the dependent variable in this study is student learning achievement. The method used is quantitative correlation with inferential statistical analysis technique using product moment regression tests. Data collection techniques were obtained using questionnaires and document study methods. Data on attitude, learning motivation, and learning strategies were collected using a questionnaire. While data on students’ learning achievement was taken from the ledger of students’ average score when they went to grade II. The population of this study was all grade II students from three schools in Tangerang Regency, Serang Regency, and Pandeglang Regency, by taking a sample of 89 students from three schools using random sampling technique. Hypothesis testing in this study used simple regression analysis, multiple regression, and partial correlation. Based on the research that has been conducted, it can be concluded that: 1) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning attitudes towards learning achievement of grade II junior high school students in Banten Province with Fcount = 22.199 and a contribution of 20.3%. 2) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation and learning achievement of grade II junior high school students in districts throughout Banten Province with Fcount = 12.619 and a contribution of 12.7%. 3) there is a positive and significant relationship between learning strategies and learning achievement of grade II junior high school students in districts of Banten Province with Fcount = 7.613 and a contribution of 8%. 4) there is a simultaneous positive and significant relationship between attitude, motivation and learning strategies on the learning achievement of grade II junior high school students in districts throughout Banten Province with Fcount = 8.445 and a contribution of 23%.

The village of Sendal Kopo is the village of Panenjoan in the Serang district of Banten Province, where people produce salted eggs. However, a problem faced in making this salty egg is the need for more marketing of products and the quality of nutrition in the salty egg, which is affecting the production. Therefore, an increase in the production and quality of salt egg nutrition results in increased production and income for business people. The method used for community dedication is the participative method of training the home industry in the village of Panenjoan. This activity takes place for one (1) month, and the training given goes smoothly, smoothly as well as orderly. As a result of this activity, the coal-fired home industry can increase production and the quality of salted egg nutrition as the volume of salted egg production increases.

Exploring Culturally Responsive Teaching Practices in English Language Teaching at High Schools in Banten Province: Perceptions, Strategies, Challenges, and Opportunities

This study explores the practice of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) in English Language Teaching (ELT) within Banten's unique cultural context, Indonesia. The research is guided by three main questions: teacher perceptions, employed strategies, and challenges in implementing CRT. Employing a qualitative ethnopedagogical approach, the study utilizes semi-structured interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. Findings reveal a nuanced landscape of CRT implementation. While some teachers actively integrate student cultures others face challenges due to limited resources and a standardized testing focus. Document analysis exposed a discrepancy between the stated goal of cultural responsiveness and the resources available. Lesson plans and instructional materials were found to be predominantly national or even Western-centric, limiting opportunities to integrate the rich cultural tapestry of Banten. This research underscores the potential of CRT to create inclusive and engaging ELT practices for Banten's diverse student body. It identifies areas for improvement, such as curriculum development incorporating local contexts and providing teachers with readily available, culturally relevant resources. By embracing CRT principles and addressing the current resource gap, ELT classrooms can be transformed to serve student needs better, fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment.

Peran Dinas Pariwisata Provinsi Banten dalam Program Kampung Wisata Pipitan Kota Serang

This research focuses on evaluating the evaluation of the Pipitan tourist village program in the city of Serang. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a qualitative approach. Tourism villages make tourism products more valuable in rural culture because there is development of tourist villages that have cultural value without destroying it. Local communities host and become important actors in the development of tourist villages at all stages, starting from the planning, monitoring and implementation stages. Pipitan Tourism Village is an interesting research object because its location coincides with the capital of Banten Province, namely Serang City. Development of the Pipitan Tourism Village into a community-based Pipitan Tourism Village by developing the role of the local community who are the managers of the Pipitan Tourism Village, such as: the chairman and members of the tourism awareness group (Pokdarwis) who are the administrators. or local residents of the Pipitan Tourism Village, MSME crafts such as flower pot crafts, garden decorations, wooden crafts, corn husk crafts are local craftsmen from the Pipitan Tourism Village. The Banten Provincial Tourism Office plays a role in distributing the budget in the development process of the Pipitan Tourism Village and the private sector will build facilities and infrastructure in the Pipitan Tourism Village. This collaboration aims to increase the economic impact, improve welfare and become a contributor to local original income in the community-based tourism sector. The concept of the Pipitan Tourism Village is very unique with a colorful concept that aims to improve the culture of the surrounding community by highlighting local characteristics such as culinary delights, and inside there is the Bolohok Market which sells regional specialties from Serang City.

The Influence Factors Of Stunting Incidents In Toddler Ages 24-59 Months At Posyandu Melati 02

Background: Data from the Indonesian Nutrition Status Survey (SSGI) in 2022 from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, the national stunting rate reached 21.6% from 24.45% in 2021 and fell to 2.8%. The stunting rate in Banten Province in 2021 will decrease from 4.5% to 20% from the previous 24.5%. According to the Tenger City Health Service (DinKes), the prevalence rate of stunting in the Tangerang city area is 15.3% in 2021. The aim is to determine the factors that influence the incidence of stunting in toddlers aged 24 - 59 months at Posyandu Melati 02.Research Methods: Sampling was carried out using quantitative analytical methods with a cross sectional study design.Research Result: Analysis of the relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and the incidence of stunting as much as 69.4% and good maternal knowledge as much as 30.6%. The relationship between maternal education level and the incidence of stunting was 18.2% and higher education level was 81.8%. The relationship between economic status and the incidence of stunting is 42.9% and high economic status is 57.1%. The relationship between giving exclusive breastfeeding and the incidence of stunting is 17.6% and not giving exclusive breast milk is 82.4%.Conclusion: Maternal knowledge, maternal education level, economic status and exclusive breastfeeding greatly influence the incidence of stunting.
