Problematika Guru Dalam Pembelajaran Kitabah Di MTs Negeri 2 Deli Serdang

Writing is one of the Arabic language skills, in learning it, writing has several problems, especially for teaching staff or teachers in a school. Therefore, in this research, researchers will discuss the problems faced by teachers in learning writing at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Deli Serdang. This research uses a qualitative-descriptive method, the data collection method uses interviews and observation, interviews wera conducted with 4 Arabic language subject teachers who teach at the school and observation was used to observe the teacher`s difficulties in teaching writing to students and the efforts made by the teacher. The results of the research show that the problems in this school are 1) Limited knowledge of mufradat for students, 2) Educational background at the previous level which was not based on Islam, 3) Low interest and motivation of students in learning Arabic, especially writing. To overcome all these problems, the teachers made several efforts to facilitate good learning of the book, such as providing mufradat memorization at each meeting, giving imla` assignments, assigning students to answer question and writing them on the blackboard, and often providing motivation to arouse students` enthusiasm in study.

Mufrodat is an important component of language, because its function is to form sentences or phrases. Of the many dictionaries created by linguists, and the various studies that have been conducted to create new dictionaries in the form of pocket dictionaries, the researcher still has not found a dictionary that specifically explains the material in Chapter VII. Even in the recent development of pocket dictionaries, educators who explain grade 7 material are still too few and require detailed understanding. Because writing a pocket dictionary is still not as short as a dictionary that can be used immediately. So we need a new alternative with a more practical model so that it is easier for students to learn dictionary vocabulary with a basic understanding without difficulty memorizing. This study uses research and development methods. This is a research method used to obtain a certain production. This study resulted from the Arabic language teaching method in the form of an Arabic pocket dictionary. Products are arranged based on teaching materials in elementary school textbook chapters. After the dictionary is written, it is evaluated by design experts, Arabic teachers, and Arabic language experts. Then given to students to help facilitate learning Arabic. Arabic teachers and Arabic subject experts evaluate and provide advice on the design of the resulting dictionaries including: definitions, readings, and suitability for Arabic learning ability levels.

الاستشراق اليهوديّ وتجلّياته في الدرس اللغويّ الحديث

This study deals with the impact of Jewish Orientalism and its manifestations in the modern Arabic linguistic study, understanding its danger, especially since it was built, for the most part, on political, religious, or other foundations that distance it from science and objectivity to a great extent. The importance of this study lies in calling for a re-reading of the Orientalist output that invaded linguistic studies, a balanced and careful reading, far from influence and fascination, far from isolation and disapproval, in order to capture what is compatible with the Arab cultural identity, and what its mechanisms are suitable for enriching knowledge, revealing the patterns and aesthetics of the Arab heritage. As well as taking serious and clear critical positions on Orientalist approaches, based on cognitive foundations. Especially since those approaches that continued to benefit from other Oriental outputs with their terminology. Some Arab critics in the cultural arena continued to reproduce them, making them a field for application. This study follows the inductive analytical approach, which is based on tracking different opinions about Jewish Orientalism, its problems, its characteristics, its use in serving Jewish purposes, and its danger. This study reassured that any Jewish researcher could prefer to work within the Orientalist movement as a European Orientalist, and not as a Jewish one. They greatly benefited from it in serving their Zionist issues by presenting them in a Western form, to ensure their acceptance among Arabs and Muslims, taking advantage of the Eastern inferiority complex towards the West. As for the Arab modern scholars, their linguistic study ranged between a study largely influenced by what they learned from the West under the slogan of modernity, science and objectivity; it began to be read through the eyes of the Orientalists. And on the other side, a study that relied on a cultural reference represented in preserving and protecting Arabic from malicious calls. Another method represented in following the linguistic theories developed by the West in its own context, based on combining the borrowed approach with the Arabic subject in addition to a study represented in investing the outcome of accumulated efforts, to form a scientific awareness of Arabic and a general linguistic one, in which Arabic raises its own questions and issues.

Focus Group Discussion on Students’ Perception of Gamification in Learning Cohesion in Arabic

Learning languages had been taught as a passive process. But in this era of Information and Communication Technology, a lot of educators use the technology provided on the Internet to attract students to focus on learning. Nowadays, gamification is widely used by educators while teaching online including Arabic language. Thus, this study aims to identify the students’ perception on gamification in learning Arabic cohesive devices. This study employed qualitative approach which the researchers used focus group discussion as a mode of data collection. The sampling method used is convenience sampling which all of them are students at Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), 2nd year students, semester 2, 2018/2019 taking Arabic subject. In this study, researchers managed to recruit 14 participants for 3 focus group discussion whereby 5 participants respectively in the first group and 4 participants in another group. From the result of the research, the process of learning Arabic cohesive devices in the Arabic language takes place with all enjoyment which increases the students’ interest for learning.

Inovasi Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Melalui al-Thoriqoh al-Intiqo’iyah dalam Menumbuhkan Minat Belajar Bahasa Arab Siswa di MA. Nurul Hikmah Besuki Situbondo

As time goes by, the phenomenon of learning often changes in educational institutions in the country. This phenomenon is often faced by subject teachers, especially by Arabic language subject teachers. This variant learning phenomenon is a challenge for Arabic language teachers to anticipate the possibilities that cause mental degradation and failure to achieve students' understanding of Arabic language subject matter. The openness of Arabic teachers in choosing learning methods that must be applied every time they carry out teaching activities can project the achievement of basic educational goals that can be realized perfectly. Thus, Arabic language teachers must be able to develop good learning strategies, one of which can be done is to use effective and fun learning methods. One of the methods referred to is al-Thoriqoh al-Intiqo'iyah (electic method). The aim of this research was to identify Arabic Language Learning Innovations through al-Thoriqoh al-Intiqo'iyah in Growing Students' Interest in Learning Arabic at MA. Nurul Hikmah Besuki Situbondo. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. In this research, the researcher used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Apart from that, researchers in analyzing data use an interactive model which consists of elements in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and data analysis. Meanwhile, the data inspection technique for this research uses triangulation. The research results confirmed that al-Thoriqoh al-Inriqo'iyah was implemented in the Supreme Court. Nurul Hikmah repeated the positive results, students were able to grow interested in learning Arabic through modifying the learning method. The justification for the success of using al-Toriqoh al-Intiqo'iyah in the school is illustrated by the enthusiasm for learning which continues to increase in addition to the participation of students in various language activities

Efforts to increase interest in learning Arabic and psychological well-being at the Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah (SBM) Kepong Malaysia

The focus of this community service is the Sanggar Bimbingan Muhammadiyah (SBM) in Kepong, Malaysia, where Arabic subjects are currently unavailable. Additionally, SBM Kepong faces challenges related to teaching staff who lack knowledge about effective learning methods. In response to these issues, this community service aims to stimulate an interest in learning Arabic based on Al-Islam and Muhammadiyah principles, as well as enhance the psychological well-being of teachers at the Muhammadiyah Kepong Guidance Studio through the development of innovative learning methods. The steps involved include: 1) field assessment, 2) preparation of materials, 3) counseling, and 4) evaluation. The outcomes of this program reveal that 3 out of 4 participants experienced increased knowledge, and overall satisfaction with the activity implementation was quite high.

أثر استراتيجية التلمذة المعرفية في التحصيل والاحتفاظ لمادة الأدب والنصوص لدى طلاب الخامس الأدبي

The research aimed to identify the effect of the cognitive apprenticeship strategy on the achievement and retention of literature and texts among fifth-grade literary students. The researcher used the quasi-experimental method, with partial control. The researcher rewarded the two research groups in grades in the Arabic language subject for the semester. The researcher prepared behavioral goals and teaching plans. Then he prepared an achievement test consisting of (30) statements, including (26) statements of the type of objective tests, and (4) statements of the type of short-answer essay tests. The researcher intentionally chose Ali bin Abi Talib Preparatory School for Boys, and the research sample amounted to (66). students, distributed into two groups, and group (A) consisted of 33 students representing the experimental group. With whom the (cognitive apprenticeship) strategy was used, and Section (B) consisted of 33 students representing the control group with whom the usual method was used. The results of the research revealed the existence of statistically significant differences between the two groups in the post-achievement and retention test. In favor of the experimental group.

Implementation of Inquiry Learning Method in Maharah al-Qiro'ah

Inquiry learning is a strategy student-centered learning as the subject of learning itself in Arabic subjects, especially reading skills (maharah al-qiro'ah. The students expectedly are able to read correctly and understand the content of the reading. In Arabic learning, there are four maharah (skills), including maharah al-qiro'ah, maharah al-kalam, maharah al-kitabah, maharah al-istima'. In this article, maharah al-qiro'ah was discussed, which focused on reading skills and also text understanding. Primary data sources in this research included interviews with teachers or instructors involved in maharah al-qira'ah using the inquiry method. Secondary data sources in this research encompassed books and literature related to maharah al-qira'ah learning and the inquiry method, scientific journals discussing the inquiry-based learning strategy in the context of Arabic language learning. Semi-structured interviews was involved in data collection techniques with teachers and learners, direct observation to document learning practices in the classroom and document analysis. Data analysis techniques used in this research included transcription of interviews and observation notes. The results showed that Inquiry learning was able to make the students active and think critically and independently. This research provided insights into the exploration and adaptation of the Inquiry learning method for Maharah al-Qiro'ah, offering a structured approach for teachers to enhance students' reading skills and comprehension, thus facilitating their ability to extract the main ideas from what they read. Additionally, this article emphasized the importance of methodological diversity in teaching, which can enhance student engagement and lead to better learning outcomes.

Strategi Qurrat Al-Kalam pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab dalam Meningkatkan Keterampilan Berbicara Siswa

The lack of speaking skills among students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) level is due to passive and less innovative learning, despite oral expression being a crucial aspect in learning Arabic. Consequently, this article aims to realize the implementation of the Qurrat Al-Kalam strategy to enhance students' speaking skills in Arabic subjects. This research utilizes qualitative methods in the form of literature studies, employing data spanning the last 10 years (2014-2023). Various relevant sources related to the discussion serve as references in this write-up. The data was subsequently analyzed using content analysis techniques. This strategy injects liveliness and dynamism into the classroom environment, presented in a manner resembling a ball game, effectively capturing students' attention and fostering their enthusiasm to achieve academic excellence. By necessitating students to formulate questions and determine answers based on their peers' inquiries, the strategy renders the learning process more active. The use of this strategy not only provides opportunities but also poses challenges for students to enhance their thinking potential and engagement in asking and answering. However, for optimal learning outcomes, it's essential for teachers to master the steps in implementing this strategy.

A Cross- Linguistic Study on the Production of English Lexical Stress: Reliance on Language Proficiency Cue

Stress is an important phonological feature that exists in many languages of the world (e.g., English, Spanish, Turkish and Classical Arabic, etc.). It increases the articulateness and intelligibility in speech and communication mainly English as a phonemic language (Kiriakos & O'Shaughnessy, 1989). This study examines the L2 learners‟ performance of typologically two unlike languages in the production of English lexical stress. Iraqi Arabic and Chinese Malaysian L2 learners are included in the production experiment to allocate lexical stress in real and nonce words. The results of the experiment presented that Chinese Malaysian group realized significantly better than the Iraqi Arabic group in producing lexical stress and Iraqi Arabic subjects had an additional difficulty in the production of mismatch syllabic patterns. After computing and controlling the language proficiency variable for both language groups, their subjects‟ mean percentage scores were equitably alike and statistically no significant difference in performance. Nevertheless, the Iraqi Arabic learners were better at allocating stress in match syllabic patterns than Chinese Malaysian L2 learners, but the difference was also not significant suggesting that the chief difficulty in which L2 learners come across in obtaining English lexical stress was concerning to L1 influence specifically stress patterns and tones. The study exhibited that lexical stress difference is inflexible for L2 learners irrespective of their native languages.

IMPLEMENTASI KURIKULUM MERDEKA PADA PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB DI MADRASAH ALIYAH NEGERI 1 KENDARI

<p style="text-align: justify;"><em>Education is something that a person needs to gain useful knowledge and form a character with good morals. The implementation of the independent curriculum has been implemented optimally, but of course, the form of implementation is still being carried out in stages. This research aims to describe the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at MAN 1 Kendari, which is identical to religious subjects based on KMA 183 and KMA 184 in 2019. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method, which explains something real by looking at the situation. Occurs and leads to direct activity. Research techniques use observation and interview techniques. The results of the research have identified that the implementation of the independent learning curriculum at MAN 1 Kendari has gone well. However, there is still a need for cooperation between students and teachers as well as all Madrasah parties to develop an independent learning curriculum that is already running. Motivation is needed from the school principal to be able to continue straighten out when there are mistakes in learning, especially in Arabic subjects.</em></p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p><p style="text-align: justify;"> </p>

Development of E-Book-Based Arabic Teaching Materials

This study aims to develop a learning product in the form of media in the form of e-book-based teaching materials for Arabic subjects. Through this e-book, students can learn according to the times which are the main needs in today's world of education. The method used by the researcher in this research is the Research and Development (R & D) method, where the ultimate goal is to produce a product for the research site chosen by the researcher and to be able to test the effectiveness of the product. The lack of student interest in learning Arabic causes the student's grades to not reach the agreed target. Researchers hope that the existence of learning products in the form of interactive e-book-based teaching materials can increase students' enthusiasm for learning Arabic. So that students can increase their interest in learning, especially in learning Arabic through the e-book. So, it can be concluded that the learning product in the form of media containing teaching materials can increase the enthusiasm and effectiveness of students in learning, especially in learning Arabic.

Precision and Accuracy of Radiological Bone Age Assessment in Children among Different Ethnic Groups: A Systematic Review.

The aim was to identify, evaluate, and summarize the findings of relevant individual studies on the precision and accuracy of radiological BA assessment procedures among children from different ethnic groups. A qualitative systematic review was carried out following the MOOSE statement and previously registered in PROSPERO (CRD42023449512). A search was performed in MEDLINE (PubMed) (n = 561), the Cochrane Library (n = 261), CINAHL (n = 103), Web of Science (WOS) (n = 181), and institutional repositories (n = 37) using MeSH and free terms combined with the Booleans "AND" and "OR". NOS and ROBINS-E were used to assess the methodological quality and the risk of bias of the included studies, respectively. A total of 51 articles (n = 20,100) on radiological BA assessment procedures were precise in terms of intra-observer and inter-observer reliability for all ethnic groups. In Caucasian and Hispanic children, the Greulich-Pyle Atlas (GPA) was accurate at all ages, but in youths, Tanner-Whitehouse radius-ulna-short bones 3 (TW3-RUS) could be an alternative. In Asian and Arab subjects, GPA and Tanner-Whitehouse 3 (TW3) overestimated the BA in adolescents near adulthood. In African youths, GPA overestimated the BA while TW3 was more accurate. GPA and TW3 radiological BA assessment procedures are both precise but their accuracy in estimating CA among children of different ethnic groups can be altered by racial bias.

Criteria For Good Test Questions (Analysis of Writing of Islamic Junior High School Exam Questions for Arabic Language Subjects at the Ta'mirul Islam Islamic Boarding School)

The aim of this research was to analyze the odd exam question in Arabic subject to the ninth-grade students at Boarding School of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta in academic year 2020/2021 which include the validity, power of difficulty, discrimination power, and answer patterns. This method used in the research was a descriptive quantitative method. The result of the analysis showed that the quality which was seen from the 1) validity there were 11 or 27,5% questions which were valid and the rest were 29 or 72,5% of questions were invalid. 2) from the level of difficulty, there were 4 or 10% of questions which average level of difficulty, and there were 32 or 90% of questions which had difficult and easy level. 3) From the discrimination power there were 10 or 25% of questions which had good discriminations and 30 or 75% of questions which had low and negative. 4) from the answer patterns, it is known that in general all distributor in the question were unfunctional properly

THE USE OF FLASH CARD MEDIA TO INCREASING ARABIC VOCABULARY MASTERY

This research is motivated by the low mastery of Arabic vocabulary and the lack of motivation of students in learning Arabic. Because the teacher only focuses on teaching materials contained in the teacher's handbook and the lack of use of interesting learning media, especially on Arabic vocabulary material, results in low student vocabulary mastery. Based on the description above, the researcher wants to describe the process of using Flashcard media & measure its effectiveness in increasing the memorization of Arabic vocabulary at MI Miftahul Ulum, Pabuaran, Subang. This classroom action research aims to measure the effectiveness of using Flashcard media on the mastery of mufradat Arabic in class VI MI Miftahul Ulum, Pabuaran. The subjects of this study were 26 students of class VI MI Miftahul Ulum Pabuaran. This research was conducted in three cycles. Based on the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in learning outcomes by using flashcard media. In the pre-cycle of student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects by 73%. In cycle I (first), student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects increased to 77%. In cycle II (second), student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects increased to 82%. Whereas in cycle III (third), student learning outcomes in Arabic subjects experienced a significant increase to 87%.

THE EFFECT OF PARENT EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND ON STUDENT ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE OF ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOLS

Islamic boarding schools are institutions where students live who are not accompanied by their parents in their daily lives. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of parental education on the learning abilities of students living in Islamic boarding schools. This research uses a quantitative approach with the research subjects being Islamic boarding school-based junior high school students in Garut, Tasikmalaya Regency and City, West Java, Indonesia. The sample used was 161 students consisting of 63 students from class 1, 57 people from class 2 and 41 people from class 3 MTs (Junior High schools). Data analysis used the Multivariate Analysis of Variance (Manova). The results of the analysis show that there is a significant effect between parents' educational background on the ability to learn Mathematics, Indonesian and Arabic. Meanwhile, for English and science subjects, parents' educational background does not have a significant effect. Even though there is no effect, in general the educational background of bachelor’s parents has a better comparison across all subjects. Differences appear in the subjects of English, Science, Mathematics and Indonesian, where the junior high school education background is much better than the high school education. Meanwhile, for Arabic subjects, the results of the analysis show that the educational background of elementary school parents is better than high school.

Study of Class IV Arabic Textbooks at Madrasah Ibtidaiah: Curriculum and Content Perspectives

In a research study that researchers carried out regarding the study of Arabic textbooks for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by "Jauhar Ali" from the perspective of curriculum and content. This study uses a literature method with a qualitative descriptive approach because, in this research, the researcher will explain in depth the content analysis of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The results of the study demonstrate that the textbook was very much in line with KMA 183 in 2019; this is evidenced by the suitability of the objectives of Arabic subjects in KMA 183 in 2019 with the contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah by Jauhar Ali. The contents of the Arabic language textbook for class IV MI are very in line with socio-cultural aspects, psychological aspects, as well as linguistic and educational aspects; this can be seen from the contents of the textbooks, be it dialog (hiwar), (reading) qiraah texts or others that contain values—social and culture of the local community as well as the religion of Islam. In addition, the Arabic language textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah is very suitable for use by children who are in grade IV or aged ten years because it is very well designed and attractive, and the materials in the Arabic textbook for grade IV Madrasah Ibtidaiah begin from easy to more difficult themes.

تطبيق استراتيجيّة التّعليم (فكر- زاوج- شارك) في تعليم مادّة اللغة العربيّة في المدرسة الثّانويّة الإسلاميّة الحكوميّة ٤ آغام

The problems of this research are the researcher notes when the teacher applies the education strategy (Think-Pair-Participate) in teaching the Arabic language subject in the Islamic State Secondary School 4 Agam. Which students possess, until he found difficulties in learning discussion. As for the objectives of this research, to find out the application of the education strategy (Think, Pair, Share) in teaching the Arabic language in the tenth semester of the Department of Natural Sciences at the Governmental Islamic Secondary School 4 Agam. In this research, the researcher used field research, that is, data collection takes place directly at the research site. This research is descriptive. The research community is the students of the tenth semester of the Department of Natural Sciences. Data analysis method: observation, interview, and documentation. The researcher found that a female teacher applied the education strategy (Think-Pair-Participate) in teaching the Arabic language in the tenth semester of the Department of Natural Sciences at the Governmental Islamic Secondary School 4 Agam well. But the discussion between pairs is still not ideal, because the discussions that should focus on the students are in fact centered on the teacher.

Analisis Metode Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Madrasah Aliyah Laboratorium UINSU Medan

This research aims to determine the method of learning Arabic in the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU Medan by using a type of field research with qualitative research method, which is the object of research for Arabic subject teachers and the methods used in learning Arabic. The method used at the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU is tu use various method and adapt tu the material to be tought and also the methods that are commonly used, namerly the group discussion method, demonstration method, field trip method and translation method. The method used was implemented well an made it easier for students at the Madrasah Aliyah Labolatorium UINSU to understand the lessons conveyed by the teacher. The importence of using methods and choosing metgots that are appropriate to the material ti be taught in learning Arabic will make it easier for students to understand learning and create affective an efficient learning.

Development of the Quizizz Application-Based Evaluation Tool for Learning Arabic for MTs│Pengembangan Alat Evaluasi Berbasis Aplikasi Quizizz pada Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab untuk MTs

The Quizizz application-based evaluation tool is very important to be developed to meet the needs of students when evaluating learning. This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the quizizz application-based evaluation tool for learning Arabic at MTs 1 Purbolinggo, East Lampung. This research uses the type of development or Research and Development with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation. The data in this study were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, observation and documentation. Questionnaires were given to students of class VIII MTs 1 Purbolinggo, interviews were conducted with teachers and several students, observations were made in class during product trials, then documentation was obtained from student learning outcomes. Then to test the feasibility of the product the researcher received assistance from the validators in this study, namely material experts, media experts, and Arabic subject teachers. The data collection method in this study was through small group tests and large group tests. The final results of the research on the development of an evaluation tool based on the quizizz application are based on a validity test, namely validation from material experts gets results of 3.67 with very valid criteria, validation of media experts gets 3.55 which means very valid, validation of education practitioners experts gets results of 3.75 which means very valid. In the assessment of students in the small group trial, the final result was 3.28 with very interesting criteria, the large group trial obtained a result of 3.41 with very interesting criteria. It can be concluded that the quizizz application-based evaluation tool developed for learning Arabic is very suitable as a learning evaluation tool at MTs Muhammadiyah 1 Purbolinggo, East Lampung.
