Konsep Disruptive Marketing dalam Menanggulangi Praktik Jual Rugi oleh Perusahaan Penyedia Jasa Transportasi Online

The rapid development of app-based online transportation in Indonesia addresses the public's need for application-based transportation modes. However, intense competition among app-based transportation providers has led to the emergence of predatory pricing strategies. To investigate these practices and their implications for the relevant market and disruptive market from a legal perspective, a normative legal research was conducted. The results reveal regulatory ambiguities concerning promotional pricing concepts in online transportation companies, which have led to predatory pricing practices violating Article 20 of Law Number 5 of 1999. This discrepancy reflects legal frameworks lagging behind technological advancements, contrary to the concept of living law. Considering this, the urgent application of disruptive marketing by app-based transportation providers is essential to foster innovation without infringing upon the principles and laws of fair competition.

The Effect of The Characteristics of Product Innovation on Intention to Adopt Application-Based Motorcycle Taxi Service (Go-Jek) The Moderating role of Consumer Demographic Characteristic in Yogyakarta

Application-based motorcycle taxi (ojek) service becomes one of the most popular startup businesses in the recent years. There are many emerged companies that offer application-based transportation service, one of them is PT. Go-Jek Indonesia. However, there are only few researches that examine factors that might influence companies to design suitable and user-friendly application-based transportation service. This study aims to determine the influence of the characteristics of product innovation on intention to adopt app-based ojek service (Go-Jek) in which consumer demographic characteristics variable is used as moderators. Primary data were collected through questionnaires with a sample size of 280 respondents. This research used multiple regression analysis on millennial, non-millennial, and combined generations, and conducted moderate regression analysis of characteristics of an innovation (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability). The result shows that relative advantage, compatibility, trialability, observability in the millennial generation have positive and significant effect on intention to adopt, whereas complexity variable has no significant effect. It was found that variables of relative advantage, trialability, and observability in the non-millennial generation have positive and significant effect, whereas complexity variable has negative effect on intention to adopt. On the other hand, the result proves that compatibility variable has no significant effect. In addition, the result also shows that variables of relative advantage, compatibility, trialability, and observability in combined generations have positive effect on intention to adopt Go-Jek application, whilst complexity variable has a negative effect on intention to adopt Go-Jek app. Factor of generation shows that the effect of variable of characteristics of an innovation (relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability) has stronger effect on intention to adopt in non-millennial compared with millennial generation.

The Impact of Online Transportation Services on Indonesian Urban Non-Working Trip Volume and Distribution Pattern: A Case Study in Bandung City

The development of digital technology has made it much easier for most people to access online communication through smartphones. Such a phenomenon has encouraged operators to develop an online transportation service system, which has also been growing in Indonesian urban areas. The urban community accepts the new alternative of the application-based transportation system since it offers a much more efficient way to reach transportation services. Moreover, the online transportation system also offers a much wider range of destination locations. It is believed that the creation of an application-based transportation service system will affect metropolitan areas' social and economic conditions and how urban communities’ travel. The development of this application-based transportation service would change the configuration of urban non-working trip distribution patterns, which should be understood as inputs for the urban transport development plan. This research aims to understand the impact of online transportation services on non-working trip distribution patterns in Indonesian urban areas, with Bandung City as the case study. The method used in this research is statistical descriptive, using respondents' responses to map the influenced trip generation and distribution patterns. The results show that online transportation has enabled the community to travel more easily and reach wider areas. Such changes have formed a new travel pattern that extends the destination locations to a wider peri-urban area. In the future, the government should anticipate urban fringe area land use growth, changing the region into more "urbanized-built-up" areas.

Analisis Sistem Informasi Driver Maxim Indonesia Menggunakan Pendekatan Evaluasi Usability Heuristik dan Human Resource Information System

Driver information system analysis includes evaluation and in-depth understanding of various aspects of the system used by drivers in a service or platform. Driver information system analysis helps ensure that the technology infrastructure that supports driver operations in application-based transportation services is efficient, safe, and in line with business and driver needs. This research aims to analyze the usability of the driver information system with a case study of the Maxim driver information system. The method used to analyze Maxim drivers uses the Heuristic Evaluation (HE) and Human Resource Information System (HRIS) approaches. The research results found that the Maxim driver information system is easy to use and the information contained in it is quite clear.

THE IMPACT OF PERCEIVED VALUE AND SERVICE QUALITY ON CUSTOMER SATISFACTION AND INTENTION TO USE APPLICATION-BASED TRANSPORTATION

<p>Competition in mobile-based transportation increases sharply with the many new application-based transportation providers joining the competition. To win the competition, application-based transportation providers need to find strategies to improve consumers’ intention to use their applications. This study aims to examine the impact of Perceived Value and Service Quality on Customer Behavior and Intention to Use and Online Transportation in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. This study is a quantitative study using an online survey questionnaire distributed to 190 respondents in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. This study employs Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 3.3.2 for data analysis. According to the findings of the study, perceived value positively influences customer satisfaction and intention to use mobile application-based transportation. The finding also reveals that service quality has a positive influence on customer satisfaction but has no positive influence on behavioral intention. Thus, this study empirically underscores the importance of customer satisfaction in influencing the intention to use application-based transportation. It is then recommended that mobile-based transportation companies continuously improve customer satisfaction through perceived values and service quality.</p>

Hukum dan Sosial dalam Hubungan Kemitraan Jasa Angkutan Aplikasi Daring

This study analyzes the partnership relationship between Online Application Transportation Service companies (JAAD) and drivers in legal sociology. The transportation service company is an association of several capital owners to create an application-based transportation business in the network (online). Its presence is not necessarily followed by the availability of adequate statutory instruments. As a result, quite complicated legal issues arise related to the weak legal protection of partners from the JAAD company. Weak legal protection can lead to social and legal precariatization of partners by citizenship. This is important considering that the partners of the In-network Application Transportation Services (JAAD) company, of whom there are millions, are citizens of the Republic of Indonesia who are under the auspices of the constitution. This study used a qualitative research method with a normative and comparative approach to a number of laws, government regulations, and ministerial regulations. In addition, the legal sociology approach was used to obtain qualitative data related to social and legal aspects of vulnerability and resistance. The results of the study showed that JAAD requires many people to earn income but the legal protection for JAAD’s corporate partners is weak, so they tend to be disadvantaged, exploited so that partners experience social, political and legal precariatization.

Sentiment Analysis og Goride Services on Twitter Social Media Using Naive Bayes Algorithm

Online motorcycle taxi is an application-based transportation technology innovation. Online motorcycles offer relatively low prices and offer discount features. However, the existence of online motorcycles creates congestion problems and conflicts between conventional transports. Various speculations arose in the midst of the public against Goride. So it makes the public opine and wants to judge an object openly through social media, one of which is Twitter. An opinion given by society is a textual opinion that can be analyzed. Sentiment analysis is used to detect opinions in the form of a person's judgment, evaluation, attitude, and emotion. The textual classification algorithm used in this study was Naive Bayes. This research aims to find out the public sentiment towards Goride's service as an online motorcycle taxi in positive and negative categories and to find out the accuracy results of the Naive Bayes algorithm against Goride's service. The data used in this study are secondary data. Data obtained by crawling using an API provided by Twitter developer. Analysis techniques are performed by text preprodeing, data labelling, word weighting, classification, then performance evaluation of classification. The results of the positive category sentiment classification are 698 data, while the negative category sentiment is 517 data. Which means more positive sentiment than negative sentiment. The accuracy performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm results in an accuracy rate of 77.78%.

Student Travel Behavior Of Grab App Users In Yogyakarta Urban Area

Urban areas are usually limited by territorial restrictions so the available space is very limited. The limited space of the area is crowded with various community activities that are reflected in the allocation and use of land. With the divided territory into various land allocations, to do different activities requires movement between regions. The existence of online application-based transportation also plays a role in changing the form of people's travel behavior in Yogyakarta which of course increases in line with the ease of transportation offered. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the movement of online application-based transportation users based on the purpose of travel conducted by students and the samples taken are students of the campus of Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa (UST), Gadjah Mada University Yogyakarta (UGM) and Muhammadiyah University yogyakarta (UMY) where these three campuses were chosen because they are considered able to represent the entirety of the total students in the Yogyakarta Urban Area. The analysis used in this research is descriptive statistical analysis, chi square analysis and fisher's exact test and also and one-way anova analysis. The results of the analysis showed a relationship between the location of residence and the purpose of travel and mileage and costs that were disbursed and there were differences for the purpose of travel conducted by students based on the location of residence.Keywords: Online Transportation, Travel Behavior, Student Grab Users

Consumer Behavior in Adopting Application-Based Transportation Services

With the rapid development and use of information technology in various fields, who can say that information technology is the main pillar that provides added value to society in the development process towards a developed nation? Moreover, information technology has entered all fields or sectors, especially transportation. One transportation service that takes advantage of the speed of access to information is the JAKET application-based transportation. The urgency of this study is to determine the level of acceptance of consumer technology in adopting JAKET application-based transportation services using the UTAUT 2 model approach. The sample used in this study was 120 respondents who used the JAKET application. The data collection process will be carried out from January to February 2021. The data collection used a survey with 33 question constructs, summarized in eight manifest variables. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling with a variance-based or component-based approach with Partial Least Square. This study's results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and perceived risk significantly affect behavioral intention. Following that, there was no significant influence of social influence, facilitating conditions, or behavioral intention habits.

Analisis Penerimaan Aplikasi Transportasi Online di Kepulauan Riau Menggunakan Metode Technology Acceptance Model

Traffic density in the Riau Islands area is increasing day by day. Population density that has exceeded this threshold causes congestion on the road which causes losses to people who are carrying out activities. As e-commerce grows rapidly, it becomes a push for e-commerce applications that develop in line with the community's need for online application-based services that operate on smartphones. The application of online application-based transportation services that are growing rapidly. One of the factors of this online application-based transportation service innovation is the growing number of internet services offered by internet service providers and more and more internet users, so that the internet becomes a necessity and lifestyle for the community. This research is a development of previous research in examining the factors that influence public acceptance of online transportation applications using the UTAUT2 research model; the current study uses the Technology Acceptance Model research model. This questionnaire was distributed to 400 respondents to the residents of the Riau Islands using Amos and SPSS. The results of the analysis of transportation application online acceptance in Riau Kepulauan using Technology Acceptance Model were seen from the construct of behavioral intention use to attitude toward using is 100%, actual system use to behavioral intention to use is 94.7%, perceived usefulness to perceived ease of use is 80.3%, attitude toward using to perceived usefulness is 47.6% whereas behavioral intention use to perceived usefulness is not effected as positive.

Dynamics of Gig Work Economy: An Investigation of Worker Perspectives on Gig Work

Online technology has developed to an extent where traditional labor markets have transformed, creating opportunities for people and businesses to participate in the global marketplace by employing contract labor. Application-based transportation including ridesharing apps, food and commodity delivery platform apps, and other consumer-facing services brought in the concepts of flexible work reshaping gig work into the mainstream creating millions of jobs in the areas of operation. Even though the gig economy provides flexibility in work, the real situation of the gig workforce seems very complex. The article discusses the impacts of the gig economy on labor markets by identifying the challenges faced by gig workers in the online labor market and the impact of gig economy on their health and well-being. A detailed field research conducted among the gig workers in the state of Kerala aided examining the labor market trends, motives, and effect beyond the gig economy. It further supplemented developing specific actions to accelerate the development of the gig economy to ensure worker protection and safety needs in creating an inclusive economy.

Adaptability in Communication Technology in Increasing Performance of Conventional Taxi Companies

Service quality of transit and demand-supply forecasting for ride-hailing in the Jakarta Greater Area, Indonesia

The extensive use of smartphones by individuals has led innovators to develop application-based transportation services. Ride-hailing systems have been extensively operated in more than 600 cities worldwide. With the competition between taxis and ride-hailing, the number of fleets must be regulated. Identifying factors that influence the demand of taxi and ride-hailing and how the quality transit service is very important. The aims of this research are to identify the factors that influence demand for taxis and ride-hailing and the service quality of taxis and ride-hailing service. The study identified socio-demographic and trip characteristics from 949 respondents in the Jakarta Greater area, Indonesia. Respondents interviewed about the waiting time, travel time and travel costs for the origin-destination of trips that are most often done using taxi, ride-hailing, and bus. The service quality of ride-hailing and taxi was analyzed based on the respondent’s preferences from an important-performance analysis survey. The forecasting demand of taxi and ride-hailing in the Jakarta Greater area using demand-supply model is 71,660 vehicles. The research findings are that service quality of ride-hailing is better than conventional taxis based on waiting time, travel time and travel cost variable.

The Demand Model of App-Based Transportation Household Scale in Semarang, Indonesia

In the development of transportation systems, Application-Based Transportation is an innovation to adapt to technological advances. It offers users an alternative mode that is cheap, easy, and flexible according to their needs. The Application-based travel demands can be seen from its socio-economic and travel characteristics. In Indonesia, previous studies have concentrated on study areas on a city scale, with diverse land use classifications not only on the residential area which is the most users of app-based transportation. The modelling results in this study were obtained from spatial simulation and partial linear regression analysis with the T-test as the final stage of analysis. As a result, demand for App-Based Transportation is affected by two factors which include age and travel costs. They are inversely proportional to the frequency of travel. In this case, this mode is mostly used by the population with young age and low cost of travel. Also, this mode is only used on short-distance trips and trips during rush hour in the morning. During the afternoon rush hour, the trip is transferred to public transportation, which has a lower cost. Therefore, this study aims to determine the application-based transportation demand model for household units in Tlogosari, Semarang, Indonesia. An additional in-depth study is needed to be carried out on the degree of motorcycle safety to improve services.

Legal Protection of Passenger on Online Transportation Based on Highway Traffic Act

The presence of online transportation can be recognized if it fulfills the requirements of the Ministerial Regulation of Transportation Act Number 108 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Transportation of People with Public Motorized Vehicles Not on Routes. The problem that arises is when this online transportation does not have a transportation operation permit, which then the passengers do not get legal protection for it. The method used is normative juridical where the data used are primary data and secondary data and the data collection used is library research. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively. From the discussion it can be concluded that 1.Insurance compensation for passengers who have an accident through PT Jasa Raharja is given to an online application-based transportation company that already has a transportation operation permit based on the provisions of the Ministerial Regulation of Transportation Act Number 108 of 2017 concerning the Implementation of Public Transportation with Public Motorized Vehicles Not On Routes which is carried out based on Act Number 33 of 1964 concerning the Passenger Accident Compulsory Insurance Fund, for online application-based transportation companies that do not have a transportation operation permit, in the event of an accident the passenger does not receive insurance compensation from PT Jasa Raharja. The responsibility of online transportation service providers has complied with Article 188 of Act Number 22 of 2009 concerning Traffic to compensate for the loss of passengers or shippers due to omission in carrying out transportation and road transportation services.

Reflection on Customer Satisfaction Using the Jaket Application in Terms of Aspects of E-Service Quality, Price, and Brand Awareness

The need for fast transportation services has caused several businesses to try to create application-based transportation applications according to market demand. To answer this market need, application-based transportation is needed that can implement e-service quality and provides prices following consumer expectations so that it is expected to be able to foster strong brand awareness of the application. The purpose of this study is to analyze the contribution of e-service quality, price, and brand awareness to customer satisfaction. This research was conducted by distributing 180 questionnaires to active users of the Jacket application and only 120 questionnaires that can be used. Tests were carried out with the help of statistical tools in the form of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Square. The results showed that e-service quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. The results of further research show that price has a positive but not significant effect on customer satisfaction. As for the results of the last study, it was found that brand awareness had a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction.

EFFECT OF WORD OF MOUTH, PERCEPTION OF QUALITY AND USE OF TECHNOLOGY ON DECISIONS OF APPLICATION-BASED TRANSPORTATION USERS (Study on Muslimah Community in Purwokerto)

This study analyzes the effect of word of mouth, perceived quality, and use of technology on application-based transportation decisions. The method used in this research is a case study of the Muslim community in Purwokerto. Questionnaires were given to 100 respondents consisting of several members of the Muslim community in Purwokerto. The data analysis technique used is PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis using Smart PLS 3.0. The results showed that word of mouth had a significant positive effect on decisions to use application-based transportation, perceived quality had a significant positive effect on decisions to use application-based transportation, and use of technology had a negative effect on decisions to use application-based transportation.

Pengaruh Trust Dan Perceived Ease Of Use Terhadap Intention Kaum Milenial Dalam Menggunakan Aplikasi E-Commerce Shopee Yang Dimediasi Oleh Perceived Of Usefulness

This study aims to determine the influence of Trust, Perceived ease of use on Intention with Perceived of Usefulness as Mediation for millennials in using application-based transportation. Many millennials currently use the Shopee e-commerce application. In Indonesia alone, there are various kinds of well-known e-commerce in this community such as Shopee, Pedia Shop, Buka, Lazada and others. Sometimes we get confused between these e-commerce. That's why in this study, researchers want to know what factors influence the millennial generation. Researchers narrow down three variables, trust, perceived ease of use, and perceived usefulness.
 This research is using quantitative type of reasearch and choosing 100 people (male & female, 18-26 years old, and uses Shopee e-commerce) assubjects research. Researchers used the SPSS application to test the results of the study. The results showed that the most influential factor in influencing the intention to use application-based transportation was
 perceived usefulness, followed by perceived ease of use, and the last one that had the least effect was trust.

Investigating the Determinants of App-based Land Transportation User Loyalty in Jakarta Using PLS-SEM Framework

This study aims to investigate user loyalty factors using application-based land transportation in Jakarta. The methodology in this study uses a quantitative approach and a questionnaire is used as an instrument to collect data. With an unknown population, this study used 301 samples of application-based land transportation users. The statistical method used to analyze the hypotheses in this study is Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with WARP-PLS. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that 6 hypotheses were accepted, and 5 hypotheses were rejected. The result of this study explains that ease of using the application affects the loyalty in using application-based transportation. Meanwhile, loyalty is not influenced by application display, service responsiveness in applications, service adjustment, service guarantee and user attitudes. This research further explains that the ease of using the application, application display, service adjustment, and service guarantee affect the user's attitude. On the other hand, service responsiveness does not affect attitude towards using. As novelty, the use of the loyalty framework in this study uses the use attitude as a mediator of main factors in service quality for application-based transportation in urban areas. As a managerial implication, it is interesting that the results of this study explain that loyalty in the use of application-based transportation is not automatically formed from a positive attitude towards using. The adjustment of services provided on the application because of competition in the application-based transportation industry must be able to meet user expectations which tend to change according to the offers provided by service providers.

Pertanggungjawaban atas Kehilangan atau Kerusakan Barang yang Dilakukan oleh Transportasi Berbasis Online Ditinjau Dari Undang-Undang Nomor 22 Tahun 2009 Tentang Lalu Lintas dan Angkutan Jalan

In Indonesia, there are 3 (three) types of transportation, namely land transportation, sea transportation, and air transportation.5 Of the three types of transportation, road transportation is the medium most often used by passengers when compared to other transportation. The characteristics of people's transportation can be divided into private transportation and public transportation. Paratransit public transportation is transportation that does not have a fixed route and schedule in operation along its route, while mass-transit public transportation is transportation that has a fixed route and schedule, as well as a clear stopping place. Motorcycles are included in the classification of types of private vehicles, but nowadays motorbikes also perform the function of public transportation, namely transporting people and/or goods and collecting agreed fees. This kind of transportation is known as ojek. Ojek Online is an online application-based transportation that plays a very important role in delivering goods within the city. The author wants to examine what if the goods sent through this online-based application are damaged or lost in terms of Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation. The author uses the library research method or literature review. This literature review research is conducting research from library books, magazines, journals and articles and sources from the internet that are relevant to the problems discussed.
