In order to investigate the internal field around the Ba atom in YBaCuO superconducting compounds, the time-differential perturbed angular correlation(TDPAC) experiments have been performed by means of a radioactive ion implantation technique. The significant perturbation due to a magnetic dipole interaction has been observed for a non-superconducting YBa 2Cu 3O 6 compound under a magnetic field of 0.4 T, while no perturbation has been found for a superconducting YBa 2Cu 3O 7 specimen.
