Development and activation of the innovative potential of the Russian economy: regional features, structural priorities, levels of implementation

Relevance. The idea of developing and implementing innovative solutions in various spheres of society implies the existence of ways to find such solutions, their active use and improvement. For this reason, the essence of innovative thinking on the scale of both a single enterprise and the state as a whole requires appropriate provision.The purpose of the research is a comprehensive analysis of the chronological cross-section of the level of innovative development of the subjects of the Russian Federation in the context of multiple global economic and political crises and the internal activation of strategic innovative trends in the formats of lawmaking and modernization.Objectives. To achieve this goal, within the framework of this study, the current legislative situation regarding the state's innovation policy and its projected consequences were considered; the factors of growth in the level of innovative development of the regions of the Russian Federation in the context of statistical dominants were studied; the complex results of regional innovation activity and the all-Russian state of the innovative sphere of development, production, export and import of goods and services were analyzed.Methodology. The methodological basis of this study is the method of chronological extrapolation analysis of trends with constant adjustment in conditions of the selective nature of the analytical data bank; in addition, a theoretical generalization of the indexed result and a priori trend forecasting within the observation period are used.Results. The general principles of the innovation segment development are the same for the whole state, but their applicability in different regions depends on the degree of their convergence with border territorial entities — the basis of the innovation development strategy is the assessment of regional potential in the sum of all indicators. Nevertheless, there is always the possibility of finding a thematic statistical trend.Conclusions. It is fundamentally important for the innovative development of the state to take into account the specifics of each individual region. With all the variety of means and methods of innovative development at all levels of management, priority is given to only a few. In this case, rating systems are an auxiliary element of management structures.

Historical drivers and future streamflow variations of the Kura River in the Western Transcaucasia region of Georgia: Analysis of tree-ring chronologies from 1720 to 2021 CE

In this paper, we conduct a dendrochronological study in the Western Transcaucasia region of Georgia to elucidate the relationship between tree growth and climatic variables (temperature, precipitation, and streamflow) in order to reconstruct the paleohydrology of the Kura River and to assess the impacts of climate change on water resources. We analyzed tree-ring chronologies from 1720 to 2021 CE, and analysis of July–August streamflow revealed five wet phases (1739–1753, 1764–1807, 1811–1831, 1962–1988 and 2000–2019 CE ranging in duration from 11 to 49 years) when streamflow exceeded the long-term mean, and four dry phases (1720–1738, 1832–1881, 1936–1961 and 1989–1999 CE) when streamflow was below average. The most extreme wet and dry years were 1771 and 1851 CE, respectively. Spatial correlation patterns of Kura River reconstructed runoff against sea level pressure (SLP) are negative in the Arctic and positive in mid- to high-latitude Eurasia. The Arctic Oscillation (AO)/North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO), and solar activity are important drivers of hydroclimatic conditions in the Mediterranean region, by modifying the location of high-pressure areas and large-scale atmospheric circulations. Comparison of our Kura streamflow reconstructions and data in the Old World Drought Atlas (OWDA) reveals a moderately positive correlation (0.40) throughout the study period, being strongest over the Southern Caucasus and Eastern Turkey. This validates the drought signals and emphasizes the importance of using multi-proxy approaches, supported by spatially resolved data, to enhance understanding of regional hydroclimatic variability and drought patterns. We additionally conducted future streamflow scenarios, most notably under the high-emission SSP585 scenario, in line with global trends in CMIP6 projections. Our streamflow results indicate a trend towards increasing drought severity, which highlights the need for urgent adaptation and mitigation strategies in water resource management in this region. Ultimately, this study provides valuable information on historical hydroclimatic conditions in the Kura River Basin, which help to develop strategies to mitigate the hydrologic impacts of climate change in the Western Transcaucasia Caucasus region. We further highlight the importance of regional and global teleconnections for understanding regional hydrological dynamics.

Clinical characteristics of gastrointestinal stromal tumors with hypoglycemia.

The development of tyrosine-kinase inhibitors has improved survival rates for patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs). Despite the progress, not all the patients can universally receive the benefit from treatment due to the individual underlying conditions in a real-world setting. The present study focused on the well-known but understudied condition of GIST with hypoglycemia. Hypoglycemia in GIST is characterized by hypoglycemic symptoms such as dizziness, sweating and confusion. It is caused by several factors such as multiple liver metastases, drug adverse effects, postoperative complications and paraneoplastic syndrome [non-islet cell tumor hypoglycemia (NICTH)]. Comprehensive analysis of this condition has been hindered due to its rarity, and has been mostly limited to case reports. In the present study, a single-institution retrospective analysis of GIST with hypoglycemia was conducted to investigate its prevalence and prognosis, and the cause of this condition. The present study identified that the prevalence of hypoglycemic episodes of GIST was 4.1% in all patients with GIST, and recurrent hypoglycemic cases had a poor prognosis. The present study identified 1 case with recurrent hypoglycemia due to NICTH. Since NICTH is a rare hypoglycemic cause and requires further evaluation, an autopsy and genetic sequencing were performed using the available clinical materials. Through this histological and genetic investigation, the histological diversity of NICTH-GIST was revealed and insulin-like growth factor II (IGF-II) amplification was identified. Furthermore, a chronological analysis was performed using multiple resected archived samples from the same case, and revealed that diffuse IGF-II expression may have occurred in the early phase of tumor development. The present study catalogued the characteristics of GIST with hypoglycemia with a focus on NICTH-GIST.

Photography in urban studies in Greater Lomé, an objectifying approach?

More and more urban studies researchers and students are using images. This choice often stems from the need to illustrate, analyse and understand territories and urban phenomena. This contribution seeks to demonstrate, on the basis of examples drawn from scientific productions in Greater Lomé, how the photographic approach makes it possible to apprehend the urban phenomenon. Three forms of image use can be identified in the documents consulted. On the one hand, images are a source of data to support information received through observation. On the other hand, photography is a technique for collecting metadata which, when triangulated with several sources, enables a query to be answered. Finally, the diachronic and chronological analysis of images of a social reality enables us to detect the visible and the invisible in order to take a critical look at the social world and the dynamics of social relationships.

The Dynamics of the Construction of the Jakarta-Yogyakarta Railroad throughthe Banyumas Karesidenan (1914-1917)

This research was conducted with the aim of complementing the study of the topic of the history of civil engineering technology from the colonial period which explains thedevelopment of rail-based transportation networks, as well as the trial and error of new technology trials at that time. In this research, it is expected to obtain a basic and detailed explanation of the planning, location determination, and construction process. In addition, the research that took place on the Cirebon-Kroya railway line concentrated on the Notog-Kebasen segment reviewed the development of the railway network in Java which was closely related to the transportation revolution in the application of new technology in Java, including the construction system of tunnels, roads, and bridges (mentioned as wisdom buildings), located in the Notog-Kebasen area. The explanation in this research is presented in a chronological, systematic, and qualitative analysis, to examine the topic of the history of civil engineering technology in the construction of the railroad network, including the wisdom building. The construction of the Cirebon-Kroya railway refers to the law of December 31, 1912 Stbl. 32/(1913), in which the 75 km Cirebon-Margasari section was opened on July 1, 1916, the 51 km Kroya-Margasari section was opened on July 1, 1916, and the 32 km Patuguran-Margasari section was opened on January 1, 1907.

Chronological Analysis of The Ontological Sequence of The Neighborhood in Urban Physical Stratification; Şükran Neighborhood-Konya

The aim of this study is to understand the change in the spatial structure of Şükran district, which has been shaped by the concept of neighborhood from past to present in the urban memory of Konya. In this context, the stratification in the urban space with the historical stratification, the structure and road relationship that will be revealed together with the ontological structure of the neighborhood, and the evolution of the land subdivision form and situation over the years will be examined in detail. In this sense, the connection of the structure, which is expected to be completely changed in the future with the urban transformation of the neighborhood, which is located in the historical city center of Konya and where mainly dwellings are built, will be questioned and the systematic structure of the transformation will be investigated. As a result, questioning the transformation of urban spaces where the urban physical gradation continues is important in order to transfer urban memory to future generations. In line with these purposes, within the scope of the study, the ontological structure of the neighborhood will be questioned within the urban physical stratification that took place in the historical process, its formation in the city in unplanned and planned periods from the past to the present will be investigated in detail within the framework of the decisions taken by the city administrators and the changing regulations and a documentation will be done at the point of transferring the urban memory to the future.

Analysis of the Challenges and Dilemmas in the Categorization of Economic, Social and Cultural Rights

This paper discusses the limitations associated with the basic classification of human rights into several categories. The topic of whether international trends have an impact on the State's view of the significance of implementing rights through the acceptance of individual complaint procedures is a complex one. Starting with an acknowledgment of the infinite extent of the issue, this paper displays a belief in the fallacious conceptions of differences in human rights. It investigates and assesses the institutional contribution to the advancement of human rights through a chronological analysis of historical processes that give rise to changes in the 20th century. To address this particular distinction, this paper looks to the 1993 Vienna Declaration and Program of Action and the new Optional Protocol for validation and endorsement. By highlighting many similarities in the language and nature of State responsibilities, it challenges the reader to consider whether non-justiciability provides a basis in the first place. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the function of dispute resolution mechanisms during the implementation phase. From a practical standpoint, it compels the reader to contemplate if the committee procedures outlined in international conventions serve just as symbolic representations of non-cooperation by States or are put into effect. This paper ultimately presents the reader with some thought-provoking material in the shape of the dichotomy between enforcement and justiciability.

The genesis and mineralization potential of the Kunshan pluton in the Xuancheng district, Eastern China

The Xuancheng mineralization district (XMD) is an important part of the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt, and hosts a number of porphyry-skarn Cu poly-metal discoveries in recent years. The Kunshan pluton is located in the northeastern sector of the Xuancheng district, and is composed of fine-grained pyroxene diorite, coarse-grained pyroxene diorite and granodiorite. This study reports zircon LA-ICP-MS U-Pb chronology, whole-rock geochemistry and Sr-Nd isotope analysis of the Kunshan Complex pluton. The intrusions young from the fine-grained pyroxene diorite (137.2 ± 2.0 Ma), through the coarse-grained pyroxene diorite (136.1 ± 2.1 Ma) to the granodiorite (134.8 ± 2.2 Ma). All three stages of magmatic samples are high-potassium calc-alkaline to potassium dolerite series, they are enriched in light rare earth elements (LREE) and large ion lithophile elements such as Rb, Sr, and (Ba), but depleted in heavy rare earths elements (HREE), and high field strength elements such as Nb, Ta, Ti, and P. Their (87Sr/86Sr)i and (143Nd/144Nd)i values range from 0.706703 to 0.707618 and 0.512023 to 0.512064 respectively. The samples from the Kunshan complex pluton are consistently plotted the zone between the mantle evolution trending line and MLYB crust, which indicating the three-stage melt are derived from the crust-mantle mixed source, with closer to lithosphere mantle. All phases of the pluton were derived from the same magmatic source, likely the crust-mantle mixed zone between the lower Yangtze crust and enriched lithospheric mantle. The 3 stage melts formed Kunshan complex pluton gradually strengthen fractional crystallization (FC) during their emplacement process, while the late granodiorite melt with highest FC degree was the ore-forming intrusion, which is characterized with oxidized melt with low temperature, and high H2O content. After Compared with the mineralized granitoid intrusive rocks in the Middle-Lower Yangtze River Metallogenic Belt, it suggests that the late highly differentiated granitoids, like Kunshan granodiorite, are probably favorable metallogenic indications.

Geological and oceanographic constrains on the deposit of ferromanganese nodules on the archipelagic aprons of seamounts

The archipelagic aprons of the large deep-sea seamounts of the northwestern Pacific Ocean (NWPO) show potential areas for significant reserves of ferromanganese nodules (FMNs). This study used datasets such as depth, backscatter intensity (BI), and optical coverage in conjunction with mineralogical, element geochemical, Sr-Nd-Pb isotopic, and chronological analyses of FMNs of the Suda Guyot (SG), which was located on the central area of the Marcus-Wake seamounts, in the NWPO. The results indicated a Y-shaped distribution of the deposit on the northern apron of the SG. Landslides predated the mineralization processes of the FMN deposit, and the ubiquitous channels in the apron had largely minimal influence on the distribution of nodules. Current mineralization of the deposit has been ongoing for ∼10 Myrs. Continuous weakening of the Antarctic Bottom Water (AABW) resulted in a gradual decrease in bottom water oxygen contents around the SG. This in turn resulted in a decrease in cryptocrystalline Fe-vernadite (δ-MnO2) and elemental contents associated with δ-MnO2 of FMNs, such as Mo, Te, and Tl. Meanwhile, the contribution of Asian dust to the study area increased, leading to increased Fe, which in turn increased amorphous ferrihydrite (FeOOH), and FeOOH-associated elements such as Ti, Pb, and Th. Productivity gradually increased to its peak value around 4–5 Myrs ago, leading to similar trends in REY, Ba, and U. REY contents exhibited a certain correlation with water depth around the SG. The results of this study suggest that the Carbonate Compensation Depth (CCD) variation resulted in higher content of REY of the FMNs in the shallower apron.

Politicisation of the European Union in Slovenia in the Twenty Years of its Membership

Abstract Ever since Slovenia became independent, the European idea has been viewed fondly by the political elite and the public. The absence of any successful Eurosceptic parties has meant the main goals concerning European integration became national projects. Euroscepticism has remained limited, although in more recent years politicisation has steadily grown through political parties’ positions on EU issues. At the same time, the country’s political elite has lost sight of the specific strategy Slovenia should play in the EU. Moreover, alignment with other EU member states has begun to vary depending on the ruling party. After twenty years of membership, this has led to Slovenia being seen as one of the more submissive actors in EU policymaking. In the article, by applying an analytical framework of politicisation, we consider the changing attitudes to the EU in Slovenia through the twenty years of its membership. The central research question is: in which ways have European issues become politicised over the last twenty years in Slovenia? The research question is addressed by considering a chronological approach and analysis of events, participation in European elections and public opinion data. We argue that, as a newer member state, Slovenia politicises European issues to a limited extent.

Anatomy of a Lunar Silicic Construct—The Wolf Crater Complex, Mare Nubium and Implications for Early Silicic Magmatism on the Moon

AbstractSilicic lithologies on planetary surfaces indicate magmatic evolutionary processes in their interiors. The Wolf crater complex within Mare Nubium on the Moon is one such silicic construct associated with a high thorium anomaly. This study integrates morphological, compositional, chronological and gravity anomaly analyses of high‐resolution data from various lunar missions to establish this construct as a silicic volcanic caldera. Lobate flows with steeply sloping fronts indicate that the crater rims comprise high‐viscosity silicic lavas, while the structurally controlled inner crater walls suggest caldera collapse triggered by magma depletion. In the crater rims, low Christiansen Feature position values reaffirm the presence of silicic lithologies, consistent with the low gravity anomaly signature beneath the complex, while spectroscopic data reveal low mafic mineral abundances and negligible hydration features. Chronological analyses yield silicic volcanism ages coeval with surrounding mare basalts (3.8–3.6 Ga), while intra‐caldera basalts have 2.36–2.02 Ga ages, indicating prolonged magmatism in this region. Melting of suitable crustal protoliths like alkali gabbronorite/monzogabbro/troctolite by basaltic underplating is inferred to have generated silicic magmas that formed the Wolf volcanic complex, instead of basaltic magma fractionation or silicate‐liquid immiscibility processes. Large impacts during the Late Heavy Bombardment may have enhanced partial melting of the mantle and created crustal fractures that facilitated the ascent of viscous silicic melts through the lunar crust. Contemporaneous existence of suitable protoliths and adequate crustal pathways for magma ascent may have controlled silicic volcanism on the Moon, and can explain the sporadic occurrence and overlapping ages of the lunar silicic constructs.

LEGAL BASIS OF DEVELOPMENT OF UZBEK PARASPORT

In this article, a chronological analysis of the normative and legal documents adopted for the development of parasport in Uzbekistan, the tasks and tasks defined in the field, their scope, the state of implementation, as well as such laws, decisions and relevant documents for parasport coaches and athletes, it served as a road map, and the successful participation of our representatives in the international Paralympic and Para-Asian games based on systematic preparation is discussed.

Trends in Physiotherapy of Chronic Low Back Pain Research: Knowledge Synthesis Based on Bibliometric Analysis.

Physiotherapy and chronic low back pain (CLBP) form a broad and quickly developing research area. The aim of this article was to holistically, thematically and chronologically analyze and synthesize the literature production in this research area and identify the most prolific research entities and research themes. This article quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed research literature production harvested from the Scopus bibliometric database, using a triangulation of bibliometric and thematic analysis. For this, Excel 2024, Bibliometrix Biblioshiny 4.1 and VOSviewer version 1.6.20 softwares were used. In the Scopus database, 2843 data sources were found, which were published between 1974 and 26 February 2024. The growth trend has been linearly positive since the beginning of publication, and after 2018 exponential growth began. A review of the most prolific entities showed that the most literature was published in America, Europe and Australasia. The thematic analysis of the information sources identified six main themes (pathophysiology of CLBP and the quantification assessment tools, diagnostics and CLBP treatment, CLBP questionnaires and surveys, quality of life, complementary methods in physiotherapy and psychosocioeconomic aspects), while the chronological analysis revealed three main areas of development: assessment tools, CLBP processing and study methodology. The results of this bibliometric study present a good starting point for further research, providing taxonomy and research landscapes as a holistic framework offering multidisciplinary knowledge about CLBP, while chronological analysis provides a basis for identifying prospective research trends. This article offers an interdisciplinary view of the current issue of public health. The results of this study provide a basis for the development of both the physiotherapy and epidemiological fields.

Archaeology in space: The Sampling Quadrangle Assemblages Research Experiment (SQuARE) on the International Space Station. Report 1: Squares 03 and 05.

Between January and March 2022, crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) performed the first archaeological fieldwork in space, the Sampling Quadrangle Assemblages Research Experiment (SQuARE). The experiment aimed to: (1) develop a new understanding of how humans adapt to life in an environmental context for which we are not evolutionarily adapted, using evidence from the observation of material culture; (2) identify disjunctions between planned and actual usage of facilities on a space station; (3) develop and test techniques that enable archaeological research at a distance; and (4) demonstrate the relevance of social science methods and perspectives for improving life in space. In this article, we describe our methodology, which involves a creative re-imagining of a long-standing sampling practice for the characterization of a site, the shovel test pit. The ISS crew marked out six sample locations ("squares") around the ISS and documented them through daily photography over a 60-day period. Here we present the results from two of the six squares: an equipment maintenance area, and an area near exercise equipment and the latrine. Using the photographs and an innovative webtool, we identified 5,438 instances of items, labeling them by type and function. We then performed chronological analyses to determine how the documented areas were actually used. Our results show differences between intended and actual use, with storage the most common function of the maintenance area, and personal hygiene activities most common in an undesignated area near locations for exercise and waste.

Kinematics Along the Qingchuan Fault and Deformation Pattern in the Eastern Tibetan Plateau

AbstractThe accommodation of the substantial eastward crustal motion of the Bayan Har block characterizes the dynamics of faults located at the eastern Tibetan Plateau. However, uncertainties persist concerning the manner and amount of deformation distributed on these faults, with slip senses and rates constituting critical factors. In the northeastern segment of the Longmenshan thrust zone, the contentious activity and the unknown geologic slip rate present challenges. This study, focusing on the Qingchuan fault, the predominant fault within the northeastern Longmenshan, employed satellite imagery interpretation, displaced fluvial terraces surveying, displacement measurements, and chronological analysis to comprehensively characterize its fault activity. Our investigation robustly demonstrates the Qingchuan fault has been active since the late Quaternary, and is primarily marked with a pronounced dextral slip at a rate of 0.6–1.0 mm/year. By quantitatively assessing the deformation rates of the faults at the eastern Tibetan Plateau, we propose that they sufficiently accommodate the entire eastward crustal movement of the Bayan Har block; thereby no additional deformation propagates beyond the Qingchuan fault. Furthermore, we introduce a subblock model to elucidate the regional crustal deformation pattern, wherein the eastward movement of the Bayan Har block transfers to the northeastward movement of the Bikou subblock. This movement results in reverse slip patterns for the Minjiang and Huya faults, while the Beichuan and Qingchuan faults predominantly experience dextral displacements. The complex strain partitioning within the northern Longmenshan range underscores the observed variations in slip patterns across different segments of the Longmenshan thrust zone, advancing our understanding of fault behavior and the orchestration of crustal deformation in this intricate tectonic framework.

The focus on the Greek term ἀρσενοκοῑται, mentioned in the Pauline writings (1 Cor 6:9; 1 Tim 1:10), increased significantly throughout the twentieth century, extending into contemporary times. This increased attention can be attributed, in part, to ongoing societal and ecclesiastical debates concerning homosexuality and various aspects of sexuality. The interpretations and translations of this term are diverse, with some suggesting a reference to homosexual relationships, while others lean towards themes such as prostitution or sexual abuse. The present study offers a chronological analysis of research into the interpretation of ἀρσενοκοῑται in the Pauline epistles, beginning in the 1980s. This literature review aims to trace the evolution of exegetical debate through time, allowing a deeper understanding of how perspectives and arguments have changed.

THE IMPACT OF SOCIAL NETWORKS IN TOURISM PROMOTION. EVOLUTION AND TRENDS

The present article investigates the impact of social networks in the tourism industry, highlighting their transition from simple social platforms to marketing tools. The paper focuses on analyzing the impact of digitalization on consumer behavior in tourism, proposing strategies for optimizing tourism marketing in the current digital context. Moreover, the article is part of a broader research that primarily employs literature review as its research method. At the same time, it paves the way for further in-depth analyses. The introduction emphasizes the changes that digitalization has brought to tourism with a focus on social networks. It discusses the importance of two-way communication as well as the influence of user-generated content and the role of emerging technologies. The chronological analysis of social networks from Myspace to Instagram and TikTok highlights the fact that academic literature was examined to illustrate how technology adaptation has improved over time and can be enhanced. The section on budget allocation and performance evaluation details the importance of adaptable strategies for maximizing ROI and underscores the importance of a complex approach based on quantitative and qualitative metrics. As part of extensive research, the paper contributes by encouraging the development of new strategies for digital tourism promotion adapted to the rapidity of changes.

Digitisation of franchising supply chain impact on franchisor performance: a longitudinal case study of a coffee retail chain

PurposeFranchising contributes significantly to national economies but is overlooked in supply chain literature. This study aims to contribute to the franchising and supply chain literature by examining how the digitisation of the franchising supply chain improves firm performance.Design/methodology/approachA single longitudinal case study approach was selected to investigate how a leading coffee brand digitised its franchising supply chain. Resource constraints theory and agency theory provide the theoretical framework. Data collection included both qualitative and quantitative data. Over two years, chronological, supply chain and thematic analyses and interpretation uncovered important findings and developed four research propositions.FindingsFindings show that digitisation can impact performance in eight areas: Resource management, Resource constraints, Efficiency, Business-to-Business (B2B)/Business-To-Customer (B2C) links, Rapid expansion, Risk mitigation, Information asymmetries and Faster supply chain responses. Four digital technologies (advanced analytics, Internet of Things, Autonomous Mobile Robots and B2B e-shop) impacted three franchisor functions (Machine maintenance, Inventory management, Franchisee and end-customer relations). The study develops four research propositions on how digitisation impacts performance in terms of (1) resource monitoring and control, (2) learning and knowledge creation, (3) coordination and collaboration and (4) competition.Originality/valueFranchising supply chains have been overlooked in the literature; this study provides insights into using resource constraints theory and agency theory complementarily to explain supply chain digitisation and provides actionable practical implications for selecting, implementing and continuously improving Industry 4.0 technologies in franchising supply chains.

Biogenic silica in sediment core indicates the historical development of off-bottom oyster farming

Sediment cores are commonly used for reconstructing historical events by determining the biogenic elements in sediment vertical profiles. The vertical flux of biogenic silica (BSi) can be enhanced by bivalve mollusks through biodeposition and can be subsequently recorded in the sediment core. However, whether BSi in sediment core can indicate the interactions between aquaculture farms and the ecosystem is unclear. In this study, sediment cores were collected from a typical off-bottom oyster farm in Sanggou Bay, China. Based on 210Pb chronology analysis of the sediment vertical profile, BSi content was determined to reflect the BSi burial flux during the farming history. The BSi biodeposition fluxes were estimated based on the biodeposition model, to identify the correspondence among BSi burial flux, BSi biodeposition flux, and annual oyster production during the historical development of the farm. The results show that the BSi density in the sediment increased obviously after 1980 when intensive oyster farming began, and reduced after 2000 when farming began to decline. Moreover, BSi burial flux had a corresponding relationship with oyster production and the simulated biodeposition rate, except for 1997–2001 when oyster production peaked. Our finding supported that the variation of BSi from biodeposition can be preserved and then recorded in the sediment, suggesting that BSi could be considered as an indicator to reconstruct the historical development of the oyster farm.
