Abstract Superconducting upper critical fields H c2 ( T ) have been measured for some “early-late”, amorphous, transition metal (TM) alloys T e (1 − x ) T l ( x ), where T e = Zr and T l = Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Pd. Contrary to recent work on non- T e T l amorphous TM alloys, we find reasonably good agreement of H c2 ( T ) with standard dirty-limit type-II theory and no evidence in H c2 ( T ) for precursor electron localization.
