Abstract
In this paper, a method based on the tight-binding approximation for calculating the electron-phonon (E-P) matrix element of a simple model of the disordered transition metals (TM) is presented. It was found that the experiment T c data of the amorphous TM superconductors can be quantitatively explained by a quasi-crystal model. With these calculations and some other discussions published elsewhere as a guide we have suggested some possible ways for the exploration of increasing T c .
